Why I’m Not a Republican By Richard McDonough
May 6, 2023 – It used to be necessary in the early 1950s to declare that one “is not now and have never have been a member of the Communist Party”. That is no longer true. Since Marxists have infiltrated virtually every institution in America while the Republican “leadership” were cashing checks and sucking their thumbs, it is now necessary for patriots to make a very different declaration, so I make it here: I am not now and never have been a member of the Republican Party. I usually hope Republicans win elections but this is not because they are very good. It is because the Democrats are even worse.
The first problem with the Republican Party is that there are too many Democrats in it. Arlen Spector made official what was already obvious when he decided that it would help his political career to put a big “D” behind his name. And he is not the only one.
There are also far too many members of the Republican Party who are just “spineless”. Like the Democrats, many of them never saw an appeal to emotion fallacy that didn’t make them all wet and weepy. Many appear to think they are just cash registers. Many of them do not appear to know what they are.
Some do not appear able to understand English; for example, the expression, “shall not be infringed” in the Second Amendment at the ninth grade level. When placating their base is in their political interest they placate them for a time, thereby giving the impression that they actually have some principles. However, when they decide that betraying their voters is in their political interest, they simply betray them.
For example, following the mass school shooting in Uvalde Texas by a crazed gunman, 13 Republican senators and one Republican House member committed to a “bipartisan” piece of gun control legislation. This includes many of the usual suspects, Senators Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), Richard Burr (R-N.C.), Mitt Romney (R-Utah), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), and House member, Todd Young (R-Ind.). [Emphasis added] Their “reasoning”, so to speak, is that since the back door on the school was unlocked and since the Uvalde police failed miserably to protect the children, it is necessary to take some constitutional rights away from Americans who have done nothing wrong. Brilliant!

“Déjà vu!”
May 5, 2023 – The meaning (and intent) of the above adages are one and the same when it comes to the responses, or lack thereof, vis-à-vis Israel’s security — even from the nation’s top echelon within the Defense Department. Huh? Duh!
The urgent question becomes: in practical, so-called strategic terms, what does national defense even entail? Well, if not intimately familiar with the decades-long counter-intuitive reactions of those tasked with protecting national security, don’t even bother to try to figure it out. Truth dare be told, it will leave your head spinning and in need of relief from a throbbing headache.
This brings us to the forefront of the latest insanity from the lips of yet another delusional, “leading light” within the Defense Department; yes, a mouthpiece!
One report noted that after a volley of more than 100 rockets via Hamastan/Gazastan, “a defense official estimates that the situation could lead to an escalation.” Furthermore, journalist Elad Benari provided important context: a few days back, alleged Islamist jihadi died from a hunger strike while in an Israeli prison; as Benari noted, “the Islamic Jihad has previously threatened that if Adnan dies, the organization will see it as an elimination on the part of Israel.”
The first aforementioned news blip additionally detailed that:

5/6/23 – @TuckerCarlson Accuses Bill Barr of Lying About Epstein’s Death: “He Was Murdered”
“There’s no question that Bill Barr clearly suspected Epstein was murdered but stopped the investigation into it,” shared @TuckerCarlson
.”So I don’t want to overstate what I know,” he continued. “I’m just telling you what I do know. He was killed.”

10 Survival Lessons from the Great Depression My Patriot Supply
May 06, 2022 – As we saw during the Great Recession, the economic chaos of the early pandemic period, and the subsequent inflation pain we are still suffering, our society will never be immune to negative economic outcomes.
Whether it be a stock market crash or a foreign attack on our banking systems, there are a variety of potential situations that could negatively impact our financial well-being as individuals and as a country.
Fortunately, there’s a lot we can learn about preparation for economic worst-case scenarios simply by looking at the recent past–the Great Depression for example.
The Great Depression started when the stock market crashed in 1929 and lasted until 1939. By its lowest point in 1933, roughly 15 million Americans were unemployed and nearly half the country’s banks had failed.
Thanks to human resilience and creativity, many people were able to survive this tough time in U.S. history.
That’s why today I’m sharing ten concrete survival tips we can glean from the Great Depression. Understanding what people did to survive during this tough economic period helps us to prepare in advance for similar situations.
With tightening monetary policies and geopolitical risks, Morgan Stanley analysts have determined that 2018 is on track to be the most volatile since the financial crisis.
There’s no better time to read this list and prepare yourself and your loved ones.

The Threat of a Super-EMP By Amil Imani| James Hyde contributed to this article
May 6th, 2023 – It’s a staggering prediction, something reminiscent of a post-apocalyptic, mega-disaster movie that has the winnowing characters scavenging for anything they can in a desperate search for water and food. But this is no movie, and it isn’t fiction. This frightening estimate has the consensus of the U.S. government, well-known, pro-electric-grid “protectionists” screaming into the winds of congressional resistance, and a number of think tanks that follow this issue closely.
Peter Pry, a former CIA analyst and executive director of the congressionally chartered EMP Commission shared the estimate with Newsmax:
“‘Within 12 months of an EMP attack or a massive solar flare between two-thirds to 90 percent of the U.S. population would perish’ from lack of electricity, Pry said, quoting the conclusions from the EMP Commission’s two public reports.”
That’s well beyond a stunning and chilling augury, one that should make Congress take the threat so seriously that it puts aside all else and acts immediately to protect our electric grid. But so far—and we’ve known about the effects of this weapon since the Starfish Prime nuclear test in 1962—it hasn’t generated the kind of legislation that would help prevent an extinction-level event.
