Several reports, in both The Atlantic and the Daily Mail, have revealed that the Quebec College of Physicians (CMQ) is pushing for infants to be eligible for Medical Aid In Dying (MAID), or euthanasia. This has been the group’s stance since at least 2022, and it seemingly has not changed its position, even as Canada’s euthanasia rate has grown to the highest in the world.
“The CMQ reiterates that medical assistance in dying may be an appropriate treatment for babies suffering from extreme pain that cannot be relieved and who have severe malformations or serious polysymptomatic syndromes that destroy any prospect of survival,” the group said in an e-mail to the Daily Mail. “The CMQ believes that parents should have the opportunity to obtain this care for their infant under these well-defined circumstances.”
Specifically, the CMQ wants the country to follow the “Groninger Protocol,” which is in place in the Netherlands. Under these guidelines, an infant can be killed if at least one doctor will assert that the child’s life will result in “unbearable suffering,” and if both parents consent.
Disability rights groups have argued that this equals nothing short of state-sanctioned eugenics based on ableism.
Zoom Out:
Assisted suicide and euthanasia have become increasingly romanticized, and as such, are being legalized across the globe. But the reality of assisted suicide is much more troubling than many realize, as advocacy groups typically claim it is just to prevent a terminally ill person from suffering a painful, prolonged death.
One needs look only to both Canada and the Netherlands to see what legalization leads to.
The Netherlands allows both infants and children to be killed, and over the decades the number of deaths have risen, with the Netherlands reaching record highs in recent years. There, virtually anyone can be killed for any reason — including healthy couples who simply want to die together.
In Canada, euthanasia has become widespread, with euthanasia for mental illness already legalized and set to take effect in 2027. Recent reports reveal that over half of the people euthanized in Canada were not imminently close to dying, but did have a diagnosed disability. A 2023 parliamentary committee already recommended that euthanasia should be available for both children and prisoners.
The Bottom Line:
Legalized euthanasia never remains rare; it seems to spread like a cancer. When state-sanctioned killing is permitted, the guardrails and safeguards are quickly eroded; soon, no one is safe. Disability advocates are right to fear that the most vulnerable are the ones most at risk from MAiD laws; now, even infants — who cannot consent to their own deaths — may soon be at risk in Canada.

Sometime after the 25th anniversary of September 11, the Muslim Brotherhood, whose members included Osama bin Laden, intends to build a megamosque in New York City.
And American taxpayers struggling to feed their children are the ones paying for it.
The organizers of the megamosque situated near the world famous Bronx Zoo, and across the narrow channel of Harlem River from Manhattan, boast that it will be the largest mosque in the state with four floors and 32,000 square feet overshadowing the mostly single-story houses and the occasional leftover Victorian from the neighborhood’s gentler past in the neighborhood.
Two of which the mosque has already demolished and whose residents it shamefully evicted.
The megamosque is being set up within the conservative Italian-American neighborhood of Morris Park which traditionally voted for Republicans before Muslim mass migration created the so-called ‘Little Yemen’ area inside it. It’s still the only part of the Bronx represented by a Republican councilwoman. But the growth of Little Yemen aims to make it fully Democrat.
And the building of the megamosque is backed by over $1 million in federal taxpayer funding.
The Bronx Muslim Center is a source of hate where speakers have mocked Christians, spread antisemitism and supported Hamas. As reported last year, Hamud Alsilwi, the imam of the Bronx Muslim Center, praised Hamas founder Ahmad Yassin for “making the Jews sleepless”, backed stoning ‘adulterers’ and posted a message stating that the war “stirs jihad in the souls of Muslims, which terrifies the West.” Akram Omar, a supporter of Zohran Mamdani, of the Bronx Muslim Center had promoted Hamas propaganda and “reposted praise for the October 7 attacks, featuring video of cheering crowds.” In remarks at the mosque, he declared that Muslims are “willing to die” to defeat Israel.
At a rally at the terror mosque, Mamdani had urged that in the election, the congregation had “an opportunity — to tell the world that Muslims don’t just belong in New York City but that we belong in City Hall.”
Behind the hate megamosque is the Muslim American Society. The MAS’s co-founder and documents seized in a raid on a Hamas associate identified the organization as a Muslim Brotherhood operation. MAS admits that the Muslim Brotherhood or Ikhwan was behind its founding, while claiming that “many immigrant organizations would likely have had some founders who had some involvement or even membership in the Ikhwan.”
The Muslim Brotherhood or Ikhwan is the organization behind numerous international Islamic terrorist groups including Al Qaeda and Hamas. Osama bin Laden had first traveled to Pakistan as an envoy of the Muslim Brotherhood. One of Al Qaeda’s founding organizations was a splinter group of the Muslim Brotherhood known as Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Ayman al-Zawahiri, Bin Laden’s successor and the thinker behind much of Al Qaeda’s operations came from a Brotherhood family and was inspired by Muslim Brotherhood ideologue Sayyid Qutb to join EIJ. A federal appeals court ruled on Tuesday that the Trump administration cannot speed the deportations of migrants accused of being members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua using an 18th-century wartime law.
In a 2-1 ruling, the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with immigrant rights lawyers and lower court judges who argued the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 was not created to be used against gangs like Tren de Aragua.
“The Trump administration’s use of a wartime statute during peacetime to regulate immigration was rightly shut down by the court,” Lee Gelernt, who argued the case for the American Civil Liberties Union, said. “This is a critically important decision reining in the administration’s view that it can simply declare an emergency without any oversight by the courts.”
The Alien Enemies Act was previously used only three times in U.S. history, and all came during declared wars in the War of 1812 and the two World Wars.
The Trump administration claimed that courts cannot second-guess the president’s determination that Tren de Aragua was connected to Venezuela’s government and represented a danger to the U.S., which it argued warranted using the law.
The administration deported alleged Tren de Aragua members to a mega-prison in El Salvador where, officials argued, U.S. courts could not order their release.
More than 250 of the deported migrants returned to Venezuela under a deal announced in July.
In a 2-1 ruling, the court granted the preliminary injunction sought by the plaintiffs because they “found no invasion or predatory incursion” in this case.

This may be the most alarming thing to come out of the People’s Conference for Palestine because it is a step-by-step playbook that America’s enemies could benefit from.
Aisha, a leader with the Palestinian Youth Movement, explained how activists could cripple the U.S. military’s crown jewel fighter jet program, the F-35:
“70% of the cost of the F-35 program actually comes from the supply chain… It functions off of this just-in-time logistics process… If one specific node of the F-35 supply chain is intervened in, it has a huge impact.”
She pressed the audience to study the system and attack weak points with precision:
“We need to be surgical. We need to be strategic. And we need to be bold in our actions. Because there are many different points of these supply chains of death that we can intervene in and we must intervene in.”
This is an operational roadmap for undermining U.S. defense readiness. Framed through Palestine, the implications reach far beyond. Imagine a global conflict where anti-American activists, taking these words literally, set out to sabotage the logistics of America’s crown jewel weapons systems.
I cannot overstate how radical and dangerous this really is.
“We have to destroy the idea of America in our heads, in our neighbors’ heads, in our comrades’ heads…”
Calls for violent uprisings, promotion of terrorism, distribution of terrorist propaganda, glorifying Hamas members, all of this on a large scale.
What would a Democrat President and Intelligence Community do to Christians if they held a conference like this against the government or any religious group?
The answer that just popped into your head is EXACTLY what the Trump administration should be doing.
This isn’t just about Israel. They’re planning, in the open, to overwhelm America politically. They were not ashamed to say they wanted to “hurt” Zionists (Jews), they wanted to “hurt” the U.S. empire. This conference was their launch pad.
We are not prepared. We’re in a pre-9/11 slumber. And they are NOT fucking around.

A panelist speaking at the “People’s Conference for Palestine” in Detroit on Friday called the United States “an evil country” and expressed a need to “destroy the idea of America in Americans’ heads.”
Speaking on a panel titled “No Weapons for Genocide: The People Demand an Arms Embargo,” Sachin Peddada, a Ph.D. student in economics and research coordinator at Progressive International, repeatedly ripped on the United States as an “empire” motivated by greed.
In response to a question about how Americans can get more involved, Peddada paraphrased a quote by deceased Palestinian author Bassel al-Araj, saying, “The average American will never understand the plight of the Palestinian person because the state of Israel is a carbon copy of the United States.
“And, therefore, the thing to do is to destroy the idea of America in Americans’ heads so that they can see the humanity of everybody outside the warping of American exceptionalism and imperialism and all these evil things.”
As Peddada said these words, the crowd broke into applause.

Peddada continued, saying, “We have to dismantle this idea of American exceptionalism, of supremacy, of being beyond reproach.
“I think it’s very important that we normalize criticism as a healthy process and learn from our experiments in the world to push the boundaries of what is possible, to continue to fight for more and more and to see how the empire responds to us, to continue to push farther and harder.”
At another point during the panel, Peddada declared, “We live in an evil country.”
He said that, since Oct. 7, 2023, “We can say with certainty that the U.S. has been the most complicit country — complicit is not even the right word to use — but the most responsible country for what is happening not only in Gaza but also the West Bank and also all over the global south.”

Peddada claimed that the U.S. is a country that has “functionally for decades been the sole superpower of the world” and has “an agenda that is driven primarily by the accumulation of profit at the expense of human lives.
“To obfuscate that point or beat around the bush there does not serve us; we live in an evil country, that’s just what’s happening,” he said as the crowd again broke into applause.
“That doesn’t mean we’re all evil,” he added. “But it does mean we have a unique responsibility. We have a unique position here in the heart of the empire to act in solidarity with all of our siblings in Gaza and in the West Bank, all around the world.”
Commenting on the remarks, one user on X posted, “As an American, I find this galling.”
“My culture and history have already been relentlessly attacked — statues of Washington, Jefferson, and other Founders torn down as ‘controversial,’” he said. “Now we have conference speakers openly talking about ‘destroying the idea of America.’”
The People’s Conference for Palestine, organized by a dozen pro-Palestinian groups, began Friday and will run through Sunday. Even before it started, the gathering drew scrutiny for featuring speakers with extremist views, including two former prisoners of Israel released in a Hamas deal, alongside Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., a prominent anti-Israel congresswoman.
The conference opened Friday afternoon with an elaborate opening ceremony, in which a speaker, after leading the crowd in chants, invited attendees to rise for “our national anthem” as a band began playing a song in a foreign language. People wearing keffiyehs proceeded in, holding Palestinian flags.

Earlier this year, Ilhan Omar complained to Business Insider she’s been the subject of a “coordinated right-wing disinformation campaign” claiming she’s worth millions of dollars. “Maybe try checking my public financial statements,” she said, “and you will see I barely have thousands let alone millions.”
The Free Beacon did check Omar’s latest disclosure. It shows Omar and her husband, Tim Mynett, are worth at least $6 million and as much as $30 million.

Just months ago Omar told the country it was “ridiculous” to call her a millionaire.
She painted herself as a struggling working mom buried under student debt.

Let’s stop pretending this is normal. Nobody’s family wealth grows by 3,500% in a single year unless something shady is going on.
Her husband’s businesses magically transformed overnight a winery going from practically nothing to millions, and a D.C. venture firm claiming to manage sixty billion dollars in assets while reporting zero income.
That’s not entrepreneurship.
That’s Washington privilege.
And this is the same Ilhan Omar who has been trailed by scandals since day one.
Let’s not forget she allegedly married her own brother in a sham green card scheme a story that still hasn’t been fully explained.
She’s been fined for campaign finance violations.
She’s used her office to enrich her inner circle before. And now, in the blink of an eye, she’s one of the wealthiest members of Congress.
The hypocrisy is staggering. She rails against capitalism, lectures America about “equity,” and plays the victim card whenever she’s questioned.
But behind the curtain, she’s cashing in like the very elites she claims to despise.
If a Republican pulled this, the media would already have a SWAT team camped on their lawn.
With Omar, they look the other way.
This is why people don’t trust Washington. They see politicians who lie to their faces, build fortunes on the side, and hide behind identity politics to dodge accountability.
Omar said she wasn’t a millionaire. Now she’s thirty million strong. She said she was just like us. Turns out, she’s nothing like us.
America deserves honesty. We deserve transparency. And we deserve better than a congresswoman who lied about her wealth, skirted the law to game immigration, and now expects us to swallow a fairytale about sudden millions.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) reported a net worth of up to $30 million in her latest financial disclosure — a document filed just months after the congresswoman dismissed claims she was a millionaire as “ridiculous” and “categorically false.”
The disclosure, filed in May, shows the far-left “Squad” lawmaker and her husband, Tim Mynett, experienced a roughly 3,500% increase in net worth last year, compared to 2023.

The surge in the couple’s wealth was first reported by the Washington Free Beacon on Monday.
The financial gains came from Mynett’s two businesses, a Santa Rosa, Calif.-based winery and a venture capital firm headquartered in Washington, DC.
Omar valued the winery’s assets at between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 in her latest disclosure. By comparison, the winery, eStCru LLC, was only worth between $15,000 and $50,000 in Omar’s previous financial disclosure.
More dramatic was the explosion in growth experienced by Mynett’s venture capital firm, Rose Lake Capital LLC.
Rose Lake Capital’s assets were valued at between $5,000,000 and $25,000,000 by the end of 2024. The company had less than $1,000 in assets the previous year.
Notably, income from the venture capital firm is listed as “none” in 2024 but between $15,000 and $50,000 the previous year.
Rose Lake Capital claims to have $60 billion in assets under management, according to the company’s website.
The company touts its “deep global networks built from on-the-ground work in more than 80 countries working across business, politics, banking and diplomacy.”
It offers clients “expertise” in several facets of business, including structuring “legislation.”
The congresswoman cried “disinformation” in February when asked about online speculation that she was a secret millionaire.
“Since getting elected, there has been a coordinated right-wing disinformation campaign claiming all sorts of wild things, including the ridiculous claim I am worth millions of dollars, which is categorically false,” Omar told Business Insider.
“I am a working mom with student loan debt. Unlike some of my colleagues — and similar to most Americans — I am not a millionaire and am raising a family while maintaining a residence in both Minneapolis and DC, which are among the most expensive housing markets in the country,” she added.
The disclosure does list as much as $100,000 in credit card and student loan debt owed by Omar.

According to ABC7 in Chicago on Sunday, over the Labor Day weekend, Chicago experienced a surge in gun violence, with at least 35 individuals shot, five fatally, according to the Chicago Police Department. The incidents spanned various neighborhoods, including South Shore, East Garfield Park, Altgeld Gardens, Englewood, Bronzeville, Humboldt Park, and Heart of Chicago (PJ Media).

Al-Bayoumi had known two of the 9/11 hijackers. The video was an important piece of the puzzle as was the timing of it.
A voice on the video says in Arabic, “I am transmitting these scenes to you from the heart of the American capital, Washington.”
Bayoumi points out the Washington monument and says, “I will get over there,” and “report to you in detail what is there.”
Richard Lambert: What I see Bayoumi doing is going out and making a detailed video record of the Capitol from all its sides, and then conducting that 360 degree panoramic view.

Richard Lambert: If you’ve ever flown into Washington D.C., one of the first things you see on the horizon is the Washington Monument. So, if you know where your other targets are, it helps guide you to your intended target.
Richard Lambert: Well, that means it was taken within 90 days of the time when senior al Qaeda planners reached the decision that the Capitol would be a target of the 9/11 attacks.
That’s when Osama bin Laden decided to approve the so-called “planes operation” proposed by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11.
During a raid on Bayoumi’s U.K. apartment about 10 days after the attacks, British police discovered the Capitol video, along with about 80 other tapes and a trove of documents now being used as evidence in the families’ lawsuit. This internal FBI report, dated Oct. 11, 2001, shows that “copies of all recovered exhibits” were “sent to FBI-New York via Federal Express,” but the Capitol video never made it to the San Diego field office.
Why was the video hidden anyway? The question is the answer.
From the Bush administration to the Obama administration, a concerted effort was made to protect the Saudis and Qataris and avoid any discussion of the Islamic angle.
The Saudis proved very able when it came to finding American useful idiots who would help cover up for them. There have been plenty of these people over the years whose mission was attacking the enemies of Islam under the guise of being ‘truth seekers’ or ‘patriots’, while shamelessly pandering to the Saudis and to the sponsors of Islamic terror.

A 26-year-old asylum seeker from Mali was arrested at Milan’s Malpensa Airport after he poured gasoline onto counters in the check-in area and set the facility on fire, causing an evacuation and substantial damage.
Bystanders and CCTV captured the surreal situation, which eventually resulted in security forces taking the screaming offender into custody, with the counters smoldering in the background.
For some reason, there are more and more incidents recently where people go nuts at airports in Europe, and more often than not, they don’t even appear to be ticketed passengers but rather random vagrants, just like in this case, where the offender is a 26-year-old “asylum seeker” from Mali.
According to BBC and other sources, the offender poured gasoline over the check-in counters and then set them on fire, after which he attacked the information screens with a hammer…

Belgium Joins Western Bandwagon on Palestinian Recognition

Belgium became the latest Western nation to pledge Palestinian state recognition, joining the likes of France, Australia, Canada and the UK in a coordinated diplomatic push to pressure Israel over the war in Gaza.
Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot said Tuesday his country will formally recognize Palestine during the UN session running September 9-23 in New York, calling it a “strong political and diplomatic gesture to preserve the chances of a two-state solution.”
“In light of the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in Palestine, and especially in Gaza, and in the face of the violence perpetrated by Israel in violation of international law, Belgium had to take strong decisions to increase pressure on both the Israeli government and the terrorists of Hamas,” Prevot wrote on X.
Belgium will also impose 12 “firm sanctions” on Israel, including a ban on importing products from Judea and Samaria, a review of public procurement policies with Israeli companies, and declaring Hamas leaders persona non grata.
However, Belgium isn’t offering unconditional recognition, establishing prerequisites that require all the hostages be freed and Hamas removed from power. Separately, Prevot emphasized that Belgium will expand efforts to combat antisemitism in partnership with local Jewish communities.
“This is not about sanctioning the Israeli people, but about ensuring respect for international and humanitarian law by its government and acting to help move the situation on the ground,” he claimed.
Meanwhile, European Union foreign ministers remained sharply divided during a meeting in Copenhagen on Saturday over the Gaza war, with countries including Ireland, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands calling for suspension of an EU free trade pact with Israel, while traditional allies such as Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic rejected such measures.
“We are divided about this issue,” EU’s foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas admitted following the meeting. “If you don’t have a unified voice… on this topic, we don’t have a voice on the global scene. So that’s definitely very problematic.”
The European Union is Israel’s biggest trading partner, with trade in goods between the two amounting to 42.6 billion euros ($49.9 billion) in 2024.

The president called out the national networks for what he called unfair coverage of Republicans and conservatives.

President Donald Trump has said that NBC and ABC should be “terminated” over what he called biased coverage of Republicans and conservatives.
Trump criticized the networks in two posts on his social media site, Truth Social, on Aug. 24.
“Why is it that ABC and NBC fake news, two of the absolute worst and most biased networks anywhere in the World, aren’t paying Millions of Dollars a year in license fees[?] They should lose their Licenses for their unfair coverage of Republicans and/or Conservatives, but at a minimum, they should pay up BIG for having the privilege of using the most valuable airwaves anywhere at anytime!!! Crooked ‘journalism’ should not be rewarded, it should be terminated!!!” he wrote, partly in all capitals.
ABC News and NBC News are national networks and do not have Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licenses for news content. They provide programming for local affiliates, which are regulated by the FCC and require licensing to operate in the United States.
In another post, Trump said ABC News and NBC News should no longer have licenses, saying that they parrot Democratic Party propaganda.
“Despite a very high popularity and, according to many, among the greatest 8 months in Presidential History, ABC & NBC fake news, two of the worst and most biased networks in history, give me 97% bad stories. If that is the case, they are simply an arm of the Democrat Party and should, according to many, have their licenses revoked by the FCC. I would be totally in favor of that because they are so biased and untruthful, an actual threat to our Democracy!!!” he wrote, using all capitals for much of the message.
As of April 9, 92 percent of ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News’ coverage of Trump was negative, according to the Media Research Center, which monitors and documents media bias.
The Epoch Times has reached out to ABC, NBC, and CBS for comment but did not hear back by publication time.
In an earlier post on Aug. 24, Trump questioned the credibility of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, once a Trump ally. On ABC News’ “This Week,” where he is a contributor, Christie criticized Trump over last week’s FBI operation at the home of former Trump adviser John Bolton.
In the same post, Trump criticized ABC News anchor Jonathan Karl.
