It’s Not Just Kanye: Antisemitism and the Black Community By Laureen Lipsky
Not much unifies Jews these days, sadly, but the tweet from Kanye West on Saturday, October 8 did just that. A world-famous celebrity with 31.5 million followers on Twitter threatened the Jewish people in a response to a fellow black celebrity, Sean Combs, and accused him of being controlled by Jews.
While the spotlight of calling out antisemitism is currently focused on Mr. West, and rightfully so, antisemitism has been prevalent in the Black community for decades. Kanye and those like him, especially in the entertainment space, who have the loudspeaker, repeat ingrained tropes, stemming from numerous Black churches; from certain Black hate groups; and of course from the most famous of Jew-haters, who retains massive power today: minister Louis Farrakhan.
Was it always this way? Luckily, the answer is no.
During Reconstruction after the U.S. Civil War, there was a strong relationship between Jews and Black people. Several prominent Jews helped build schools in the South for Black children, and that led to firm ties between the two communities.
In 1960, the SNCC (Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee) was founded. It was targeted toward younger Black people to stand up for equal rights. In its earlier years, its members had great relationships with Jews, and it spearheaded a greater coordination to incorporate Jews into the Civil Rights struggle. Yet when the 1967 Six-Day War against Israel broke out and Israel won, the leaders of the SNCC were already more radicalized thanks to Ethel Minor, the communications director of the group, who had formed ties with the Nation of Islam and turned on Israel.
Ethel Minor set the tone of the SNCC, and that included an antisemitic voice against Israel, which meant Jews. This is when the lies began about “Palestinians” being a distinct ethnicity. Playing into the Soviet propaganda, the lies about Jews being “occupiers” started to seep into the Black community.
In stepped the Nation of Islam, a Black Muslim separatist group, which also prides itself on being anti-White and anti-Jewish, along with other radical entities. The lies against Israel became stronger and went unchecked. Louis Farrakhan, the leader of Nation of Islam, who has called Jews ‘‘termites” and praised Hitler, said Jews “control the media” and railed against the “Satanic Jew & the Synagogues of Satan” — among other hateful tropes — has not been relegated to the far corners of the American Black community. Rather, he and his messaging have been elevated by Black Hollywood and Black media.
Farrakhan’s infamous July 4, 2020 speech, in which he continued with his usual Jew-hatred, was streamed by Sean Combs (P. Diddy)’s channel, Revolt TV. In attendance at the event were major Black celebrities such as Nick Cannon, Rapper TI and his wife, and former NBA basketball player Allen Iverson. Football player DeSean Jackson tweeted numerous anti-Jewish falsehoods from Farrakhan’s speeches to his 100,000 Twitter followers, and rapper and actor Ice Cube has readily shared Farrakhan’s hate-filled diatribes. Even now, popular broadcasters such as Charlamagne tha God, who heads up the Breakfast Club radio show, has on popular Black celebrities who quote and praise Farrakhan with nary any pushback. Comedian Trevor Noah in the past televised severely skewed anti-Israel messaging and made Holocaust jokes, which is ironic now that he is calling out Kanye.
In conjunction with the revolting Nation of Islam, another powerful hate group has taken hold of many in the Black community: the Black Hebrew Israelites, a domestic terror group responsible for the recent 2020 Jersey City murders of Jews. One just has to visit any social media platform to see their handiwork. They influence Black people to think ethnic Jews are not real Jews, that Jews are “from Europe” and are “White,” and that Black people are the real Jews. This group also hijacks the term “Israelites” to mean ancient Jews, who, according to the Black Hebrew Israelites’ rhetoric, are not at all linked to Jews today. Though all the usual antisemitic tropes are utilized by members and followers of the Black Hebrew Israelites, the group’s real damage is in attempting to disassociate Jews from their Jewish heritage in the minds of the Black community. Kanye West in his most recent tweets mirrored that messaging when he said he cannot be antisemitic because “Blacks are Semites.”
And then there is Black Lives Matter, a Marxist domestic terrorist group, responsible for the 2020 pogrom against Orthodox Jews in Los Angeles and numerous marches where anti-Israel messages are prominently seen. Similar to the Black Hebrew Israelites, BLM paints Israel as “White” colonizers, lies that Israel trains U.S. police forces to brutalize Black people in the U.S., and claims that Jews stole land from “Palestinians.”

Having said that, I would like to say that many blacks do not hate Jews. It is by no means the entire black community. However, blacks that are affiliated with, or identify with the groups mentioned in this excellent article are the enemy, and must be treated as the enemy. Steady Stream of Requests From Stephen Klein
The pressure on Rabbi Baruch to keep the Vaad operation in Paris running efficiently, which was not helped by the constant requests originating from Vaad headquarters in New York, was enormous. Stephen Klein provided Rabbi Baruch with a steady stream of requests and people, but rather than wait for an answer by mail, he would sometimes phone the rabbi or send a telegram to find out about particular cases. In some situations he would say, “Whatever expense you may have in obtaining this [affidavit] is to be charged to me” or “spare no costs for this case.” He had a sense of urgency in his requests because he was under intense pressure from relatives in the US for quick results.
Another reason for resolving individual cases quickly was that while the Vaad had “no objection to sending as many people … as possible” to the U.S. through corporate affidavits, it was expensive. As already noted, the United Service for New Americans (USNA) that replaced the National Refugee Service(NRS), was authorized to provide corporate affidavits for potential immigrants. “These affidavits committed the agency to assume full responsibility for a designated number of immigrants, otherwise eligible but unable to furnish acceptable affidavits from individuals, with the provision that the agency would not permit them to become public charges.”
The Vaad requested the names of American relatives of Jews who immigrated to the U.S. in order to solicit them to recover some of the costs. Since there were many cases of DPs registered in New York and Germany still being processed, Klein and his committee asked “that the emigration office … concentrate on … cases which have already been registered” with the New York office, “and which have been pending, in some instances, for two years before they accept others.” Some might interpret these requests “unsympathetic” declared Lee Stein, Vaad New York office manager, but he assured Rabbi Baruch that if he knew “what headaches were involved in trying to soothe impatient relatives, I would forgive him for some slight impatience.”
Most requests for assistance were sent by mail, but Rabbi Baruch received a fair number of telegrams from people who expected him to drop other urgent appeals to attend to their crisis. The most unusual request came from Rebbetzin Rose Soloveitchik of Spring Valley, New York, who came to Munich to ensure that their nephew Judah Eidelman received a visa to immigrate to the U.S. Frustrated with the American consul’s procrastination, she persuaded Rabbi Baruch to help her. As a result, her nephew arrived in the U.S. on February 18, 1947.

About 2.7 million people have already voted in more than a dozen states that include early voting options, according to data released this week by a university. That figure is on par with the record turnout during the 2018 midterm elections, a professor concluded.
Of that figure, 2,353,531 people voted via mail-in ballots, while 337,852 cast their ballots in person, data from the University of Florida’s U.S. Elections Project shows. About a third of the early votes recorded so far have been cast in Florida alone, as more than 600,000 in the Sunshine State have cast ballots.
“It’s clear that we are above the 2018 midterm at the same point in time in states where we have comparable data to look at,” Michael McDonald, a professor at the University of Florida, told ABC News. “We can see the sorts of indicators that would suggest that we’re in for a high-turnout election, much like we had in 2018. And 2018 was the highest midterm turnout rate since 1914.”
Florida, which has a Republican governor and a Republican-controlled legislature, is leading the way so far, the data shows.

The International Commission on the Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields (ICBE-EMF) conducted the study, which was published in Environmental Health.
The ICBE-EMF called for an independent assessment of the dangers and impacts of wireless radiation, a campaign to inform the public of the health risks associated with radiation and “an immediate moratorium on further rollout of 5G wireless technologies until safety is demonstrated and not simply assumed.”
In an ICBE-EMF press release, Dr. Lennart Hardell, an oncologist, author of more than 100 papers on non-ionizing radiation and lead author of the study, said:
“Multiple robust human studies of cell phone radiation have found increased risks for brain tumors, and these are supported by clear evidence of carcinogenicity of the same cell types found in animal studies.”

After 20 years, Israel may let PA use helicopters – report
Since the onset of the Second Intifada, Israel has not allowed the PA to use helicopters due to concerns over weapons smuggling and other security risks.

The Israeli defense establishment may permit the Palestinian Authority to purchase new helicopters for the first time since 2001, according to a report from Israeli daily Haaretz.
Since the onset of the Second Intifada, Israel has not allowed the PA to use helicopters due to concerns over weapons smuggling and other security risks.
But as wildly unpopular PA president Mahmoud Abbas’ grip on power weaken, due in part to the Palestinian public’s embrace of terror groups such as Hamas and the new Lion’s Den terror group, Israel may grant concessions to the body in order to strengthen the PA’s control.
Boosting Abbas’ standing among the Palestinian public is a strategic move for Israel, as the majority of Palestinians in a recent poll said they would prefer to be governed by Hamas.
According to the Haaretz report, two helicopters for use by Abbas and other PA senior officials will be purchased using funds donated from Gulf countries.
The helicopters are expected to be stationed in Jordan, and the PA will need advance clearance from the Israeli authorities in order to use Israeli airspace, including in Judea and Samaria.
Approving the request for the helicopters ahead of the November 1 election will likely not occur, due to the optics of appearing to submit to Palestinian demands, but the report indicates that the approval may occur shortly afterwards.

On January 15, 2021 sometime around 5am, dozens of FBI agents and local law enforcement officers in full tactical gear rode up to Luna’s house on the side rails of two pick up trucks and an up-armored vehicle reminiscent of Luna’s time in Iraq. They cordoned off the neighborhood. One agent deployed a flashbang outside of his house. There is absolutely no tactical application for a flashbang deployment outside of a house when the “suspects” are inside other than to intimidate them. Or perhaps trigger his PTSD in hopes Luna would do something reckless? Or, most likely, to wake up the entire neighborhood at 5am to come and see their spectacle of humiliation and the fear they are trying to instill in a decorated Marine combat vet and law enforcement officer by dragging himself, his wife, his two teenage children out onto the street in their pajamas while their 2-month old daughter is still inside crying for her mother.
So what did Luna do? Murder? Gang-violence? Trafficking?
Nope.
All of this was over “controversial” tweets. Luna was not in Washington DC on January 6th. He has never been arrested or charged with any crime previously. He has no history of violence. He was the recipient of the nations highest honor for public safety officers, the Medal of Valor. What they’re doing to him is an abomination.

The New York Post wrote about Judge Raymond Dearie when he was announced as special master in the case involving the FBI’s unnecessary, unprecedented and unlawful raid on President Trump’s iconic property, Mar-a-Lago:
Hon. Raymond Dearie was announced as special master in the case by US District Judge Aileen Cannon, court documents showed. Dearie was one of two possible third-party legal experts suggested to Cannon by Trump’s team. He was chosen after the Department of Justice agreed he was an acceptable candidate.
Dearie, 78, a Rockville Centre, New York native, had served as the top judge of Brooklyn’s federal court from 1986 to 2011, before taking on a reduced caseload and serving as a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court judge, according to his official biography.

Until governments, including hostile adversaries such as Russia and the United States, conspired to limit the use of hydrocarbon energy and “go green,” the idea that anybody could turn a profit from the wind or sun would have seemed as absurd as a vendor selling rocks freely available all around us.
