Hunter Biden Failed To Pay Taxes—Here’s Why He’s Likely Not Going To Jail Kelly Phillips Erb, Forbes Staff

After months of speculation, Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, has been charged with tax and gun charges. According to court documents, he is expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges as part of a plea deal.
In a letter filed in federal court, the charges are docketed as “Informations.” When charges are brought on information, it usually means that the defendant has accepted the charges and is cooperating with the investigation—and that’s the case here. Notably, the letter is signed by U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was appointed by President Donald Trump in 2018 and has overseen the Biden investigation since that time.

US Attorney from Delaware, David Weiss, a Trump appointee, led the investigation into Hunter Biden.
Hunter Biden will likely get probation for not paying his taxes – only peasants go to prison for not paying taxes.
As far as the gun charge, Hunter Biden won’t even be pleading to that crime.
Prosecutors went easy on Hunter and handled the gun charge as a diversion case.
“Handling the gun charge as a diversion case means Biden will not technically be pleading guilty to that crime. Diversion is an option typically applied to nonviolent offenders with substance abuse problems.” the Washington Post reported.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden had his political opponent arrested on garbage charges.
NOBODY believes it took the Justice Department FIVE YEARS to hit Hunter Biden with 2 misdemeanor charges.
Tucker Carlson blasted the two-tier ‘justice system’ on Tuesday shortly after the joke charges were announced.
“What does Hunter Biden do for work?” Tucker asked.
According to US Attorney Dave Weiss’s statement on Tuesday, Hunter Biden made $1,500,000 in 2017.
We still have no idea what the hell Hunter actually does for a living (aside from his influence peddling scheme with “The Big Guy”).

CNN broke the story minutes ago:
“John, this five year long investigation now coming to head. We have learned from new court filings at the US. District Court here in Wilmington, Delaware, that Hunter Biden has agreed to plead guilty to multiple criminal charges. I’m going to walk you through this. One of these charges involves these are two counts of failing to file tax returns in a timely fashion. Those are misdemeanors. He’s also going to plead guilty to a charge of a firearm offense. This is the possession of a firearm while you are addicted to a controlled substance. Now, the firearm offense is going to be diverted. And what that means is that if he meets certain conditions, that charge will go away. This will be over a set period of time. Otherwise, it’s the tax misdemeanor charges that he has been charged with.”

Latest Ratings Crash Shows the Fox News Implosion Is Even More Glorious Than Most Realize JD RUCKER
You probably knew it was bad. You may not know just how bad things have gotten in the last week at Fox News.
JUN 19, 2023 – Fox News received the worst ratings news it has ever experienced on Friday, marking the continued implosion of the previously top-rated cable news channel. As Dailywire’s Matt Walsh revealed on Facebook, their trajectory is likely worse than most even realize.
For 120 straight weeks, Fox News was the most-watched cable news network in primetime. Its main competitors, MSNBC and CNN, never came close. In the key advertising demographic — people between the ages of 25 and 54 — Fox News was the undisputed leader. But last week, after nearly two months of declining ratings following the ouster of Tucker Carlson, Fox News’ streak came to an abrupt and very unceremonious end. Last Friday, Fox News recorded its worst performance in primetime in the network’s history. Just 109,000 people between the ages of 25 to 54 tuned into Tucker Carlson’s old 8pm time slot, to watch the replacement show “Fox News Tonight.”
How bad is that? To put it in context, “Fox News Tonight” was ranked 41st out of all cable news shows on Friday. This is the time slot that used to routinely be ranked number one. Now YouTube streams of people playing with Legos get more viewers. And keep in mind — Fox News attracted those 109,000 viewers on a very busy news night, after the announcement of Donald Trump’s indictment. Not many people cared what Fox News anchors had to say about the indictment of a presidential frontrunner.
Whatever you make of that, it’s clear that the implosion of Fox News is well underway. And it’s showing no signs of stopping. Last week, as Tucker discussed on his Twitter show Thursday, Fox News executives publicly condemned a veteran producer who wrote a banner criticizing Joe Biden. Five years ago, the banner wouldn’t have attracted any attention whatsoever. But under the current leadership at Fox News, it led to the producer leaving the network within 48 hours.
That banner is the most interesting thing that’s happened in that time slot for about two months, so of course Fox News cracked down on it. What’s happening at Fox feels familiar. The network is on the same trajectory we saw with Bud Light, then Target. Fox News executives, for some reason, are destroying their own product, and now they’ve lost the trust of their customer base.

Also in Nigeria, in January 2022, a man recounted that Fulani jihadis stopped him and started beating him. Then they asked him if he was Muslim or Christian; when he said he was Christian, they intensified the beating. In Burkina Faso in November 2021, Muslims asked villagers if they were Christian or Muslim, then killed the Christians. In Mozambique in June 2021, Muslims were hunting for Christians door-to-door. In the Philippines in February 2019, Muslims murdered a man for failing to recite Qur’an verses, while releasing six others who could recite them.

This was a quick turnaround from Biden’s promise to use US troops to defend Taiwan from China in September, 2022 and back in May 2022.

The Republican representatives gave updates on the ongoing investigations into the Biden Crime Family.
At one point, Maria Bartiromo pointed out the obvious, “Of course, it is the biggest political scandal any of us have ever seen.”
Republicans continue to discover more concrete evidence of the multi-million dollar Biden family bribery scandal with foreign governments including Ukraine and China.
Rep. Biggs added that more evidence is coming. The Ukrainian oligarch who recorded Hunter Biden and Joe Biden discussing their illicit business dealings also has MORE EVIDENCE to produce according to Biggs.
The two US lawmakers also pointed out Chris Wray’s role in hiding evidence from Congress on the Biden family’s illegal activity.
