Calif. Regulators Approve Rules For Turning Wastewater Into Drinking Water OAN’s Rayana Unutoa
5:04 PM – Tuesday, December 19, 2023 – California regulators have approved rules aimed at turning wastewater into drinking water.
The California state water resources board voted to adopt the new rules on Tuesday. The move could impact where millions of state residents get their drinking water from.
The new rules will allow water agencies to recycle wastewater, treat it, and then transfer it back into pipes at homes, schools and businesses.
Additionally, the agencies are required to test the water for any pathogens or viruses before processing.
The Santa Clara Water District is one of a number of areas that plans to use treated wastewater for drinking.
The new rules will also require water agencies to inform customers about the recycled water before they begin the process.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) on Tuesday signed a bill that gives a commission power to consider giving reparations to blacks.
The Democrats are demanding hundreds of thousands of dollars in reparations per black person.

New York will undertake an ambitious effort to address the state’s history of slavery and racism, establishing the United States’ second statewide task force to examine whether reparations can be made to confront the legacy of racial injustice.
Gov. Kathy Hochul on Tuesday signed a bill that empowers a commission to study not only the history of slavery, which was outlawed in New York in 1827, but also its subsequent effects on housing discrimination, biased policing, income inequality and mass incarceration of African Americans.
It is far too early to tell what type of restitution, cash or otherwise, the commission in New York will recommend for descendants of enslaved people, or even if it will make such a recommendation. But in California, a multibillion-dollar price tag has already threatened to stymie the reparations project, highlighting the distance between the state’s goals and its fiscal reality.
During a press conference on Tuesday Hochul boasted about the prospect of paying black people reparations even though they were never slaves.
“I know the word ‘reparations’ brings up a lot of conflicting ideas for people,” Hochul said on Tuesday. “A lot of people instinctively dig in when they hear it, without really thinking about what it means or why we need to talk about it.”
“Today, I challenge all New Yorkers, to be the patriots and rebuke — and not excuse — our role in benefiting from the institution of slavery,” she said.
“We’re the ones who fought against slavery!” Hochul absurdly claimed.

The same throbbing pain that pierced through his left arm in 2021, where doctors discovered blood clots, is surging through his massively swollen left leg.
Locked in the hole of the DC gulag, he calls the correctional officers for help begging to see a doctor to no avail.
The Supreme Court of the United States has long held that jails and prisons cannot deny essential medical care to people who are incarcerated, deeming medical deprivation to be cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the U.S. Constitution.
When Samsel realized he couldn’t stand on Monday, he screamed again for help asking to be taken to medical, but the nurse on duty was fast asleep and ignored his pleas.
The hole of the Washington DC Correctional Treatment Facility where January 6 defendants are held in unconstitutional pretrial custody is less restrictive than solitary confinement in other jails in prisons.
Inmates in the hole are allowed out of their ten-by-five dog cage size cell for about three hours a day and are allowed to step outside, into another small gage, for a few minutes to breathe in fresh air.
The limited movement is exacerbating Samsel’s deteriorating condition which he suspects is caused by another blood clot as the pain gets more severe by the day.
“I’m stuck in the bed because of the clot in my leg,” Samsel told The Gateway Pundit in an exclusive interview. “I ask the guards to take me to medical nearly every day. They don’t care. It’s my judge who is at fault. I beg her, ‘Please, I’m really in pain!’ And she says nothing. She doesn’t care. She’s not going to do anything about it. I don’t know what else to do. I mean… I really don’t know what to do.
“She has denied the outside hospital recommendations. I’ve been to three hospitals. Before I was arrested, I was scheduled for surgery. At three jail hospitals, my file was marked ‘urgent,’ saying I needed surgery and blood thinners.
“I am dying little by little. I am in lockdown. I beg that you get the public to please call my Judge Tia Cobb, the DC Marshal or the jail. I can’t even walk. I need emergency medical attention along with the surgery that will help restore the blood flow back to my heart from my left arm due to the long-standing clots. I have scar tissue that needs to be removed. I truly am in fear. I can’t feel my leg and the jail won’t send me to the hospital because they don’t have my medical records.
“I am unable to reach my lawyer Stanley Woodward and don’t have the money he needs to file an appeal to the judge to receive medical treatment. So, I am stuck.
Samsel has a history of suffering from blood clots. In March 2021, two months after he was apprehended by the FBI, he received a medical examination for a cist on his chest that was oozing with blood while detained in a Lewisburg, Virginia jail.
Doctors in the Virginia correctional facility told him to follow up with a specialist to determine whether the cist was a malignant tumor or cancer.
Instead of scheduling an appointment with the specialist, Samsel was then transferred to the DC gulag, where he was brutally assaulted by correctional officers. Following the beat down, he lost vision in his right eye and began suffering from seizures. He was taken to the emergency room where doctors found a blood clot in his arm.

Dec. 19, 2023 6:15 pm – As the Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump will not be on the ballot in Colorado in 2024 thanks to their far-left Supreme Court.
The Court dubiously cited Section 3 of the US Constitution’s 14th Amendment which states public officials who have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the US may be disqualified from public office.
Trump did not engage in an insurrection nor has been charged with one.
As TGP readers know, this ruling came in response to a suit brought by the George Soros-funded Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW). CBS News previously reported the group filed its lawsuit against Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold and Trump in September, arguing the 45th president is disqualified from public office under Section 3.
The voters demanded a state trial court in Denver to block Griswold from taking any action that would allow Trump access to the ballot.
According to CNBC, the state Supreme Court stayed its ruling from taking effect until Jan. 4, “subject to further appellate proceedings.”
Now, the Trump campaign has weighed in on the Supreme Court’s outrageous ruling. Spokesman Steven Cheung unleashed a fiery response blasting the Court, Biden, and the radical left Soros group who brought the suit.
He also vowed the Trump campaign would take the case directly to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Unsurprisingly, the all-Democrat-appointed Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against President Trump, supporting a Soros-funded, left-wing group’s scheme to interfere in an election on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden by removing President Trump’s name from the ballot and eliminating the rights of Colorado voters to vote for the candidate of their choice.
We have full confidence that the U.S. Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these un-American lawsuits.

Now, a group of French lawmakers struck a tentative deal on a bill to significantly toughen immigration laws.

“The government had initially said this would be a carrot-and-stick legislation that would make it easier for migrants working in sectors that lack labor to get a residency permit but would also make it easier to expel illegal migrants.
But, without a majority in the lower house of parliament since the June 2022 elections, and in order to gain support from the right, the government progressively agreed to water down measures meant to give some illegal migrants residency permits, while tightening access to welfare, among other steps.”
The deal was agreed by a special committee of seven senators and seven deputies.
It is in many ways good news for Macron, because the migration bill is a key aspect of his second mandate.
“But it could also boost Marine Le Pen, who called the outcome ‘a great ideological victory’ for her far-right party – which the government denies. The conservative Les Republicains, who have over the years hardened their discourse closer to that of the far-right, also claimed victory.”

A volcano erupted late on Monday in southwest Iceland, spewing lava and smoke across a wide area after weeks of intense earthquake activity, the country’s Meteorological Office said, threatening a nearby town.
Fearing a significant eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula, authorities last month evacuated the nearly 4,000 inhabitants of the fishing town of Grindavik and closed the nearby Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.
“Warning: Eruption has started north of Grindavik by Hagafell,” the Met Office said on its website, noting that the eruption began only a few kilometres from the town and cracks in the ground stretched toward the village located about 40 km (25 miles) south-west of Iceland’s capital city Reykjavik.
Reykjavik’s nearby Keflavik International Airport remained open, albeit with numerous delays listed for both arrivals and departures.
Images and livestreams of the eruption shown by Reuters and others showed molten rock spewing spectacularly from fissures in the ground, their bright-yellow and orange colours set in sharp contrast against the dark night sky.
“Seismic activity together with measurements from GPS devices indicate that the magma is moving to the southwest and the eruption may continue in the direction of Grindavik,” the Met Office said.

December 18, 2023 – Two decades ago, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) said the Council on American-Islamic Relations has “ties to terrorism” and called for the federal government to cut ties with the controversial anti-Israel group. Schumer, now the Senate majority leader, has flip-flopped since then on CAIR, which is back in the national spotlight after its founder said he was “happy to see” Hamas attack Israel.
Last year, Schumer said in a letter of support for CAIR that the United States is “fortunate” the organization is “fighting for the sake of our freedoms.” In 2015, he applauded CAIR for its “determination to continue to spread humanity” and to “cultivate and encourage mutual understanding amongst Americans of all backgrounds and cultures,” according to a letter CAIR cited in fundraising literature.
That’s a far cry from what Schumer said during a 2003 Senate hearing, when he slammed CAIR’s leaders for having “intimate connections with Hamas” and said the group was known to have “ties to terrorism.” In 2009, Schumer submitted a letter to the FBI that noted CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation, a Hamas front group. Schumer said federal agencies ceasing work with CAIR “should be government-wide policy.”

Miracle in Tennessee: Four-Month-Old Baby Found Alive in Tree After Being Swept Up by Tornado (VIDEO) By Jim Hᴏft
Dec. 17, 2023 8:20 pm – In an almost biblical tale of survival, a four-month-old infant was miraculously found alive in a tree after a devastating tornado tore through Clarksville, Tennessee, lifting the baby and his bassinet into its ferocious grasp.
The Moore family’s mobile home was unfortunately situated directly in the path of the devastating tornado on December 9, which ruthlessly tore apart the structure, dispersing fragments of their belongings throughout the surrounding area, WSMV reported.
The baby, identified as Lord, and his one-year-old brother Princeton were at home with their parents, Sydney Moore and her boyfriend Aramis Youngblood, when the tornado hit. Sydney Moore, 22, recounted how the roof of their mobile home was ripped off as the tornado approached.
The tornado’s force was so strong that it lifted the bassinet with the baby inside. Aramis Youngblood attempted to grab the bassinet as it was being sucked up, and both he and the baby were thrown into the air. Sydney Moore, meanwhile, protected their older child, Princeton, from the collapsing walls.
For about 10 minutes after the tornado passed, the baby was missing, sparking fear and desperation in the parents. In an incredible turn of events, the baby was found alive, lying in a fallen tree, with only minor injuries—a cut on the side of his face that needed to be glued shut. The father, Youngblood, suffered a broken arm and shoulder during the ordeal.
The family described their survival and the baby’s miraculous discovery as an act of divine intervention, stating that it was “by the grace of God” that they found their child alive and mostly unharmed.
The family lost everything in the tornado and is now seeking a new home. The local community has rallied around them, providing essential supplies like diapers and formula. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist the family in rebuilding their lives.

John Reid from Richmond’s Morning News with John Reid posted photos on Sunday of the demolition crew moving into the cemetery to remove the monument.
John posted video from Arlington Cemetery this morning where he reported on the destruction of the famous statue.
The crane was moved in and the removal is expected to take place on Monday.
Congress voted to remove the statue earlier this year – 41 Republicans joined Democrats – to move forward with the destruction of this statue. The demolition was scheduled for no later than January 1, 2024.
Millions of US dollars are being allocated to dismantle the memorial dedicated to Civil War veterans.
The statue was dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge in 1924.
The statue was the most important work by Jewish artist Moses Ezekiel.

Sitting perched above Courtroom Number 26 of the E. Barrett Prettyman Courthouse in Washington D.C., the Trump-hating Obama appointee looked on last week as an unhinged, bias and corrupted jury ordered Giuliani pay $148 million dollars to former Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shane Moss.
If this ridiculous judgement is not the final proof needed for lawmakers to understand that a D.C. jury is beyond rehabilitation and a D.C. judge is NOT fit to reasonably judge Conservatives or Trump supporters, I do not know what is.

Earlier last week, the Dishonorable Judge Howell giggled with adoration in her eyes for Ruby Freeman as the former Georgia election worker took the stand and proclaimed she wanted to offer Howell one of the special “ginger-mint candies” she brought to court.
It was nauseating to witness.
Howell also lavished in scolding Mr. Giuliani and his attorney Joseph Sibley after Giuliani spoke to reporters outside the courtroom. The plaintiff’s side of the courtroom was packed with what looked like a team of perhaps fifteen lawyers and personnel, in stark contrast to Defendant Giuliani’s side.

Two Iraqi migrants will remain in Sweden after serving their custodial sentences for the gang rape of a Swedish woman onboard a cruise ship after a court rejected deportation requests by the public prosecutor because the duo were deemed to have “integrated” into Swedish society.
Mazin Al-Sharash, 36, and Akar Bajorani, 32, were sentenced to six years and five years and three months respectively for aggravated rape of a woman during a 24-hour cruise between Stockholm and Mariehamn on Sept. 10 this year.
The Stockholm District Court heard how the duo had grabbed the woman and ushered her into a cabin before hitting her in the face, pulling her hair, spitting and urinating on her and both raping her during a four-hour assault.
The court found that the pair had “acted with particular recklessness and brutality” during the sentencing hearing.
The public prosecutor had pushed for deportation orders for the foreign gang rapists after serving their sentences, however, the court rejected this request.
It held that Al-Sharash, who had arrived in Sweden from Iraq back in 2018 had become a Swedish citizen in 2021, and as such it would not be appropriate to deport him. Despite his citizenship, Al-Sharash required an Arabic translator to assist him during the trial.
Bajorani came to Sweden from Iraq in 2008 as a teenager but is not a Swedish citizen. He was, however, deemed to have “integrated” into Swedish society due to the fact that he has two children who are Swedish citizens and is expecting a third. He is also proficient in the Swedish language.
“Bajorani has integrated by learning Swedish and supporting himself through work, mainly as a taxi driver,” the court’s judgment read, as cited by the Samnytt news outlet.
Talking to Samnytt following the judgment, public prosecutor Emma Svedberg revealed that she was considering an appeal of the court’s decision which she believes to be too lenient for the severity of the offense.
“I think it is satisfactory that both men have been convicted of aggravated rape. At the same time, the district court has arrived at a shorter prison sentence than I have requested,” Svedberg said.
“The district court has not reached the conclusion that the man whom I requested to be deported should be deported,” she added.

The popular television host, whose full name is Phil McGraw, said in a video message this week that he was appalled by the “sickening smugness” displayed by leaders of elite universities they were testifying on Capitol Hill about the issue of campus anti-Semitism.
McGraw declared that these prestigious institutions have become “liberal woke hotbeds fostering intellectual rot rather than critical thinking.”
“They were asked a simple question: ‘Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate your policy against bullying and harassment?’” he said.
“To be 100 percent clear, using the dictionary definition of ‘genocide,’ the question becomes, does calling for the deliberate killing of a large number of Jews with the aim of destroying the Jewish ethnic group and the nation of Israel violate your policy against bullying and harassment?” McGraw said.
He said the university presidents “disgustingly evaded” lawmakers’ questions and claimed it depended on the “context.”
“How much context would be required if these student organizations were demonstrating in support of genocide of all Asians, Catholics, blacks or gays?” McGraw said.
“‘I’ll tell you how much: none,” he said. “And you know what? There should be none. All of these groups deserve protection and the right to attend school without fear, and so do the Jewish students.
“What is wrong with you people? You know better!”

The national police of Ukraine said that a village councilor had injured 26 people and killed one during an attack that was caught on camera when he detonated hand grenades during a meeting.
The event happened on Friday morning at the Karetsky village council headquarters, which is located in the mountainous Zakarpattia region of western Ukraine.
A man in black was seen entering a council meeting in the midst of a heated discussion in a Facebook video posted by police.
Those present can be heard screaming as the man took three hand grenades out of his pockets, unfastened the safety pins, and dropped them to the ground, setting off explosions.
