Dec. 29, 2023 10:45 am – The war in Ukraine is heading to its 2-year mark with the warring nations in inverted trajectories.
Kiev’s regime is lacking ammo, missiles, drones and air defense systems – and conscripting the old, the infirm and even women.
As for Russia, it’s stronger by the day, with its military industry churning out equipment like never before.
This will probably mean that this will be a hard winter for Ukrainians, with Russia making territorial gains in multiple parts of the 1,000-kilometer (620-mile) line of contact, and unstoppable air raids targeting military and infrastructure facilities.
Last night and this morning, Russian forces unleashed a MASSIVE missile and drone strike in multiple regions, in what may or may not have been the largest air raid in the whole war, depending on who you listen to – as we will see.

“Russia launched 122 missiles and a score of drones against Ukrainian targets, officials said Friday, killing at least 20 civilians across the country in what an air force official said was the biggest aerial barrage of the war.”

Dec. 29, 2023 9:30 am – The Biden regime has escalated its war on Texas. Not satisfied with flooding the state with millions of illegal aliens, they now want to stop the state from removing the invaders.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill earlier this month known as SB4 which grants state and local law enforcement officials the power to arrest, jail, and prosecute illegal migrants. Moreover, it allows judges to issue de facto deportation orders, thus allowing the state to send back the invaders the Regime has happily allowed in.
This act of brave defiance has ticked off the Regime. As CBS News revealed Thursday, the Department of “Justice” told Texas in a letter they would sue if the state dares to implement SB4.
“SB 4 is preempted and violates the United States Constitution,” Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brian Boynton wrote. “Accordingly, the United States intends to file suit to enjoin the enforcement of SB 4 unless Texas agrees to refrain from enforcing the law.”
Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brian Boynton went on to whine that SB4 would criminalize actions that are already illegal at the federal level, harm relations with Mexico, and stop officials from enforcing federal immigration laws. The last assertion is particularly laughable, considering the Biden regime has been doing the exact opposite of enforcing the law.

Two new articles this week, one in the New York Times and one in Politico, provide a road map to the Biden Administration’s desperate attempt to prevent the collapse of its Ukraine policy. The New York Times piece is an op-ed from a geriatric former editor, Serge Schmemann — Ukraine Doesn’t Need All Its Territory to Defeat Putin. Serge, despite a long career as a journalist specializing in foreign affairs, has forgotten the meaning of “defeat.” Michael Hirsh, writing in The Politco, echoes Schmemann’s message — The Biden Administration Is Quietly Shifting Its Strategy in Ukraine.
Let’s start with Schmemann. He was born in France but his heritage is Russian, Russian Orthodox Christian to be precise. Although Schmemann speaks Russian and lived in Moscow while working for the New York Times, he is completely out of touch with the reality of modern Russia. He accepts as true many provably false Western memes about Putin, the Russian military and the Russian economy. Here are the most egregious:
A painful reality check shows the 600-mile-long Ukrainian-Russian front in a figurative and literal freeze, draining Ukrainian resources and lives without much prospect for change in the foreseeable future.
No. The war is not frozen. Russia is advancing all along the front and Ukrainian forces are falling back after suffering heavy casualties. Although Schmemann acknowledges the war is “draining Ukrainian resources and lives”, he is wrong in believing this situation can continue for the “foreseeable future.” Ukraine is losing troops it has no realistic means of replacing. Russia, by contrast, is surging the size of its army and is not a victim of a war of attrition. Russia is the causing the attrition.
If Mr. Putin is seriously looking for a cease-fire, he is doing so on the presumption that the alternative is a continued slaughter of his soldiers, and that there is nothing more he can achieve through destruction, violence or bluster.
Poor Mr. Schmemann reveals in this sentence his complete ignorance of Russia’s military strategy and its control of the battlefield. Ukraine is not “slaughtering” Russian soldiers. Yes, there are increased Russian casualties because Russia is on the offensive, but the lack of artillery ammunition on the part of Ukraine and the inability of the West to supply amounts that match what Russia is firing on a daily basis means that Ukraine, not Russia, is the one being battered.

Jan 12, 2023, 10:30am EST – TOPLINE A roughly even number of Americans now identify as or lean toward Democrats or Republicans, a new Gallup poll finds, the first time that’s happened in over a decade, as Democrats’ historic advantage over the GOP has been erased as more Americans now lean toward the right.
KEY FACTS
The poll found 45% identify as Republicans or Republican-leaning Independents, while 44% identify as Democrats or Democratic-leaning Independents.
That’s the first time since 2011 that the parties have been roughly evenly divided, with Democrats previously holding at least a three-point advantage over Republicans for every year from 2012 to 2021, including a 46% advantage in 2021.
The poll also marks the first time since 1991 that Republicans have had at least a slight advantage over Democrats, with previous polls in 2002, 2003 and 2011 having them dead even at 45% each.
Gallup attributes the increase in GOP support to Americans’ “dissatisfaction with the state of the nation” in 2022, when Democrats controlled both the White House and Congress.
Most Americans still identify as Independents rather than with a political party, with 41% identifying as Independents versus 28% each as Republicans or Democrats.
That’s roughly similar to 2021, when 42% identified as Independents, 29% identified as Democrats and 27% as Republicans.

Currently, Mexico is the leading country of origin for most unauthorized immigrants in the U.S., with California being home to the highest number of illegal immigrants in the country. The most illegal immigrants returned in the U.S. are from the Philippines, followed by Mexico, India, China, and Canada.

Under the Biden administration, the President has worked to reverse some of the stringent immigration policies that former president Donald Trump passed. These policies included stopping the Mexican border wall construction, protecting DACA recipients, and ending the travel ban on several Muslim majority countries. One of his proposed legislations includes the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021, which would provide a path to citizenship to as many 11 million undocumented immigrants in the country. This would include DACA recipients, agricultural workers, Temporary Protected Status beneficiaries, and any undocumented individual who has been physically present in the U.S. on or before January 1, 2021, as long as they pay their taxes and can pass criminal and national security background checks. While a majority of Americans support this plan, most of the support comes from Democratic voters.

Iowa National Guard Deploys Soldiers to Kosovo By Anthony Scott

According to KCCI, the Iowa National Guard is sending 33 soldiers to Kosovo as part of a NATO peacekeeping mission.
The guardsmen will be deployed on December 29th for a nine-month tour.
Newsweek reported the 33 guardsmen will “conduct live aerial medevac operations, refueling and maintenance support for the United States, Kosovo Security Forces.”

Most non-Catholics don’t have any idea about what the ‘Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith’ is – and this name also doesn’t ring a bell with many members of the Church.
But call it by its original name, and nearly everyone will know it: the Holy Inquisition.
It’s the oldest among the departments of the Roman Curia, founded to defend the Catholic Church from heresy – and is the body responsible for ‘promulgating and defending Catholic doctrine’.
Its seat is the Palace of the Holy Office in Rome.
In 1965, it became called as the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith before receiving its present name – but it’s still informally known as the ‘Holy Office’.
It’s a very prestigious office, former Pope Benedict XVI – then called Archbishop Joseph Ratzinger – headed it with great success during John Paul II’s papacy.
It’s the Pope’s ‘Doctrinal Watchdog’ responsible for ‘guaranteeing that Vatican documents and Catholic theological publications meet minimum standards of orthodoxy’.
Pope Francis, being the pontiff hell-bent in ‘reforming’ (many say destroying) Catholic Doctrine, chose the ‘perfect’ man for the ‘task’.

“A U.S.-based group that tracks how the Catholic hierarchy deals with allegations of sexual abuse by clergy says Pope Francis made a ‘troubling’ choice in appointing an Argentine prelate to a powerful Vatican office that handles such cases.”
In 2019, Fernández ‘refused to believe’ victims who accused a priest in the La Plata archdiocese of sexually abusing boys, and disregarded the accusations.
That is disturbing, for a bishop set to have the responsibility of judging and punishing priests who abuse children.”
“Francis ‘made a baffling and troubling choice’, the group said in statement emailed late Saturday in the U.S., citing how Fernández handled the case.
‘In his response to allegations, he stoutly supported the accused priest and refused to believe the victims’, BishopAccountability.org said. Fernández ‘should have been investigated, not promoted to one of the highest posts in the global church’.”
And the criticism also comes from inside the church, as many conservative catholic have reservations about his theological work and his adherence to the orthodoxy he is to defend.

CNN reported this was a surprise decision based on leftist Secretary of State Sheena Bellows’ interpretation of the 14th Amendment. She ruled that because Trump engaged in an “insurrection,” he was ineligible to face the voters.
“I do not reach this conclusion lightly,” Bellows wrote. “Democracy is sacred. I am mindful that no Secretary of State has ever deprived a presidential candidate of ballot access based on Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment. I am also mindful, however, that no presidential candidate has ever before engaged in insurrection.”
Bellow’s ruling has been reportedly suspended until the Supreme Court decides.

Study Finds That Just 3.4% of American Journalists Are Republicans
A new study from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications found that just 3.4% of American journalists are Republicans.
The study is based “on an online survey with 1,600 U.S. journalists conducted in early 2022” and is the latest in a series of studies stretching back to 1971 that take the temperature of the fourth estate’s partisan lean, job satisfaction, and professional attitudes.
When the first iteration of the study came out over 50 years ago, 35.5% of respondents said they were Democrats, 25.7% said they were Republicans, and 32.5% said they were Independents. The percentage that call themselves Democrats or independents have bounced around over the years, with the proportion of Democrats reaching a high of 44.1% in 1992…
The last iteration of the study before this most recent one, pegged the proportion of Republican journalists in America at 7.1%, the proportion of Democrats at 28.1%, and the proportion of Independents at 50.2% in 2013.

Polio, which paralyzed thousands of Americans annually, was wiped out by widespread vaccinations. In 1999 the nation’s last hospital for lepers closed its doors in Louisiana. A global campaign eradicated smallpox, while lethal tuberculosis, the “consumption” that stalked characters in decades of literature, seemed beaten by antibiotics. Measles outbreaks still occur from time to time, but they are small, local, and easily contained.
Recently, however, some of these forgotten but still formidable infectious diseases have begun to reappear in the U.S. For two years running, polio has been detected in some New York water samples, and this fall, leprosy re-emerged in Florida, where cases of malaria have also been recorded.
Health officials say they are not sure why these and other infectious diseases are resurfacing. One distinct possibility, which officials are loath to discuss, is that the millions of migrants who have crossed into the country in recent years could be bringing the scourges with them, since many are from countries where such rare diseases persist and vaccination programs are not robust.
“The recent polio and leprosy cases are almost certainly imports to the U.S.,” said Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a physician and scientist at Stanford University, one of the most outspoken critics of official COVID-19 narratives in the last pandemic that later proved flawed.
And the Biden administration, an aggressive promoter of often mandatory vaccination last time, now is offering little public comment on the connection between disease and the porous borders with which its immigration policy has become widely identified.
Neither the Centers for Disease Control nor the Department of Homeland Security would discuss the issue with RealClearInvestigations. Legal immigrants are required to receive vaccinations for a host of diseases, but the Department of Homeland Security acknowledged it does not have vaccination records for the millions who have entered the U.S. since the Biden administration relaxed border controls upon taking office in January 2021.
“It’s not like there is some Typhoid Mary out there, but this is something people are seeing and thinking about, even if they don’t want to discuss it publicly,” said Art Arthur of the Center for Immigration Studies, which opposes the Biden administration’s border policies.

“Certainly, these acts of revenge will continue in different times and places,” Sharif said, and swore vengeance for Razi Mousavi, the Iranian major general killed in a presumed Israeli airstrike in Syria this week.

As many as 500 men affiliated with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad trained in the Islamic Republic leading up to Oct. 7, The Wall Street Journal reported in late October. The exercises reportedly took place in September, at which time terrorists received specialized combat training, JNS reports.
Iran supports the Hamas terror organization as well as the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon and the Houthi militia in Yemen, which is threatening commercial shipping in the Red Sea.

Doctors planned protest against Israel inside US Holocaust Museum Jpost

DECEMBER 27, 2023 – On Thursday, December 28, the newly formed organization Doctors Against Genocide (DAG) had plans to demonstrate at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, to protest Israel’s war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, calling it a “genocide.” The event has since been canceled.
The group called on anti-Israel activists to obtain free entry tickets to the museum so they could protest inside and disrupt the museum’s activity. At 3 p.m., the protesters are scheduled to move the protest to the White House.
In a statement announcing the cancelation of the event, DAG stated that the goal of the event was to “visit the Holocaust Museum to express our empathy for the horrors of that Genocide. Additionally, we wanted to bring awareness to the ongoing Genocide in Gaza.”
DAG describes itself as “a coalition of healthcare professionals who want to unite their voices in uproar against the genocide in Gaza.” The group was formed in November 2023 and focuses solely on the Hamas-Israel War, in spite of its name saying it is generally against genocide.

The United States has rejected an Israeli request for Apache attack helicopters to help its forces fight Hamas during the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, but the answer may not be final, Ynet reported Tuesday.
The IDF asked the Pentagon if it could purchase the choppers a few weeks ago, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant also pressed his American counterpart, Lloyd Austin, for them, when the Secretary of Defense visited Israel last week, said the news site.

December 26, 2023 – (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Terrorists massacred 160 people, many of them preparing for church Christmas programs, Saturday night (Dec. 23) through Monday (Dec. 25) in coordinated attacks on predominantly Christian areas in Plateau state, Nigeria, sources said.
Church pastors were killed and hundreds of houses were destroyed in the massacres in villages of Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu counties, officials and residents said. The assailants killed the Rev. Solomon Gushe of Baptist Church in Dares village along with nine of his family members, said Bokkos County resident Dawzino Mallau.
“Some pastors were killed, and another pastor and his wife and five children were killed during these attacks,” Mallau told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News in a text message. “These terrorists who attacked these Christian communities were in the hundreds, and they carried out the attacks as the hapless Christians were preparing for Christmas programs lined up by their pastors.”
Most of the Christians killed were women, children and the elderly unable to escape, he said.
Alfred Mashat, another resident of the Bokkos area, said hundreds of houses were destroyed.

For background purposes, the founder of Kwanzaa is Maulana Ron Karenga, who was active in the “black power” movement during the 1960s. He and Hakim Jamal co-founded the black nationalist group United Slaves Organization in 1965 to promote separatism and African-American “cultural unity.” They soon formed a rivalry with the Black Panthers and were involved in several violent clashes.
Karenga also is a convicted felon. Karenga spent four years in prison for brutally torturing two naked women. He claimed he had no choice because the women were using magic crystals to poison him on behalf of his enemies.
Karenga created Kwanzaa in 1966 to help further his group’s political aims. Kwanzaa derives from the Swahili phrase matunda ya kwanza, meaning “first fruits.”
The ideals around Kwanzaa revolve around the following “seven principles of African Heritage”: Unity (Umoja), Self-Determination (Kujichagulia), Collective Work and Responsibility (Ujima), Cooperative Economics (Ujamaa), Purpose (Nia), Creativity (Kuumba), and Faith (Imani). Some have noted the pillars read like a communist manifesto of sorts.
Kwanzaa is a secular holiday that rejects and mocks the idea of religion altogether. Karenga himself has trashed Jesus Christ and called Christianity a “white religion” that black people should avoid.
Given the left’s rejection of faith and promotion of division in America, it is little wonder why Harris would find the “holiday” so appealing despite Kwanzaa not existing when she was born.

Dec. 26, 2023 6:40 pm – A Kansas high school approved a Satan worship club despite an online petition with over 7,000 signatures to stop group.
Olathe School District this month approved a “Satan Club” after the club application “met the criteria.”
Parents and students were outraged by the approval of the “Satan Club” but Olathe Public Schools said it approved the club because it is protected under the First Amendment.
Fox 4 Kansas City reported:
Despite a petition against it, a “Satan Club” has been approved by the Olathe School District.
An Olathe Public Schools spokesperson stated, “the club application met the criteria to establish a student-initiated club and is now recognized as a student-initiated club at Olathe Northwest High School.”
In mid-December, the Olathe School District confirmed that a student had applied to develop a “High School Satan Club.”
There were some mixed reactions from parents, some expressed concern while others thought it was a justifiable right.
A student began an online petition called, “Stop The Satan Worship Club at Olathe Northwest.” By the evening of Dec. 18, it garnered over 6,800 signatures; now that number is over 7,500.
The school district has a criteria that the club had to pass before the application would be approved.
After school Satan Clubs have been popping up all over the country in the last several years.
Parents have protested the after-school Satan clubs at elementary schools but the Satanic Temple has won many times in federal court.

For many, their ties to the notorious sex trafficker and longtime high-society hobnobber were not previously known, as they did not appear in Epstein’s infamous black book or in the public flight logs of passengers who traveled aboard his private jet before his jailhouse death in 2019 while awaiting trial.

In the spring, the Journal discovered multiple new names after it obtained a previously unreported trove of documents, including thousands of emails and Epstein’s private schedules dating from 2013 to 2017. (The New York Times obtained Epstein’s scheduling documents through a public-records request to the U.S. Virgin Islands attorney general.) The documents all pertain to the time period after Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution in Florida, and at least some of the period was after Epstein was publicly accused of sex trafficking by victim Virginia Giuffre in 2015.
The schedules include details of numerous meetings Epstein planned and with whom — but the Journal noted at the time that it could not verify whether all of the meetings actually occurred. Many of the meetings took place at Epstein’s Upper East Side townhouse, one of the locations where he is alleged to have sexually abused women and girls.

Invasive Asian ‘Cow-Killing’ Tick Has Rapidly Crept Across America, CDC Warns By Stefanie Ladner
Dec. 26, 2023 8:30 am – The Asian longhorned tick is rapidly gaining a foothold in the United States and “poses a serious threat to livestock” according to the USDA.
Since its discovery and proper identification in 2017, the coverage area of the tick has spread to 19 U.S. states, the USDA reported.
The deadly consequence of their expansion was shared by Ohio State University researchers in the Journal of Medical Entomology: Two cows and one large bull died from exsanguination by the ticks, meaning drained of blood to the point of death.
Each unfortunate cow likely endured tens of thousands of bites.
While only the size of a sesame seed, [emphsis added] these tiny ticks have huge population potential, with the ability to form massive colonies in a short amount of time.
While collecting samples in the twenty five acre Ohio pasture, the Ohio State University researchers were able to collect almost 10,000 ticks in just 90 minutes.
Extrapolating the collection data led the researchers to estimate the population in the entire field exceeded 1,000,000 ticks.
According to researchers, no other species of tick in North America can populate like this species can.
The tick’s secret weapon is the ability for females to lay 2,000 eggs at a time — without the necessity of a male.
Part of assessing the risk posed by these exponentially reproducing ticks includes an analysis of disease spread to both livestock and humans.

MONDAY, DEC 25, 2023 – 11:15 AM – Christmas Eve is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and a moment for bonding with loved ones and friends through shared activities and meals. It’s a time for reinforcing the nuclear family while spreading peace and joy through the community.
However, in today’s imploding Western society, run by incompetent elected and unelected leftist politicians who control all sorts of federal and state government agencies. They have waged war on the nuclear family structure.
It’s not just radical progressives who want to dismantle the nuclear family. Marxist organizations, such as Black Lives Matter organization, funded by mega-corporations, have called for the death of the family unit. A central tenet of Marxism is to dismantle this structure:

The Great Society programs that started with former President Lyndon B. Johnson in the mid-1960s ensured the destruction of the nuclear family as recent Census data showed 27.6% of all US-occupied households were one-person households in 2020, up from just 7.7% in 1940. The largest share of people living alone occurred between 1970 and 1980, when the percentage increased from 17.6% to 22.7%, right after the welfare programs started.
So what’s the result of progressives tearing down the nuclear family? Well, Just The News recently noted:

According to research carried out by Jerrod Brown, a behavioral specialist at Concordia St. Paul, the extant literature “suggests that children raised in single-parent households experience more physical and psychological problems compared to those raised in two-parent households.” Moreover, he added, the “implications of homes in which fathers are absent may be important to explore for criminal justice and mental health professionals.”
The destruction of the family unit by radical progressives has created a generation of lawless youth that has been on full display this year in crime-ridden Baltimore City, Washington, DC, and other liberal metro areas where disastrous social justice reforms have been pushed through.

MONDAY, DEC 25, 2023 – 08:10 AM – Authorities at key locations are on high alert after it was revealed that Islamists planned attacks throughout Europe targeting Christian sites.
Security services in Germany, Spain, Austria have beefed up their presence outside churches and other major landmarks after learning terrorists had schemed to bring chaos to major cities over the Christmas period.
Concern was particularly high around Cologne Cathedral in Germany, site of the infamous New Year’s Eve 2015 mass molestation of women by huge gangs of migrants from North Africa.
“Sniffer dogs trained to detect explosives were deployed at Cologne Cathedral after a specific threat was received regarding the Gothic landmark as authorities sought to ensure that no devices had already been planted at the location,” reports Remix News.
“Due to a warning of danger for Cologne Cathedral, the Cologne police will take special protective measures from this evening,” a spokesperson for the city’s police told German tabloid Bild.
Counter-terror operations are also underway in Vienna and Madrid, with St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna being mentioned as a specific target as well as Christmas markets.
“Since terrorist actors across Europe are calling for attacks on Christian events — especially around Dec. 24 — the security authorities have increased the corresponding protective measures in public spaces in Vienna and the federal states,” Austrian federal police said in a press release.

Far left outlet The Atlantic ripped Harvard University for not doing enough to hold its president Claudine Gay responsible for her recent scandals, particularly her plagiarism scandal.
The Atlantic’s contributing writer Eliot Cohen, who received his Ph.D. from Harvard and was a former administrator there, blasted the school’s board in a Friday article, claiming that it should be in a “tougher spot” for not holding Gay accountable for plagiarism.
He declared that Gay’s alleged behavior, which he argued was “indisputable,” is “disqualifying” for her leadership role and that she needs to leave her office.
Harvard has been grappling with an avalanche of accusations that Gay plagiarized multiple past academic works, including her own Ph.D. dissertations at the university. The school president had already been under fire after dodging questions on antisemitism on college campuses during a House hearing on the issue by the Education and Workforce Committee.
In the piece, Cohen noted how when he was hired as an assistant professor Harvard, after he was a Ph.D. student, “Harvard then took plagiarism seriously – and in one way still does, disciplining dozens of students every year for this gravest of academic sins.”
He described how students found guilty of the transgression – “those who had lifted someone else’s language without quotation marks or citation – were bounced from the college for a year, during which time they were required to work at a nonacademic job.”

December 24, 2023 – This is what socialist student activist Rudi Dutschke meant by the long march through the institutions – the left’s strategy to create radical change in government by becoming part of it.
Roger Kimball wrote that it was by these means of “insinuation and infiltration” that the countercultural ideals of Herbert Marcuse gained influence. Helmut Schelsky wrote that the long march was part of a strategy towards “the conquest of the system” through efforts to discredit the values and processes of constitutional democracy.
In his 1972 book, Counterrevolution and Revolt, Marcuse wrote:[9]
To extend the base of the student movement, Rudi Dutschke has proposed the strategy of the long march through the institutions: working against the established institutions while working within them, but not simply by ‘boring from within’, rather by ‘doing the job’, learning (how to program and read computers, how to teach at all levels of education, how to use the mass media, how to organize production, how to recognize and eschew planned obsolescence, how to design, et cetera), and at the same time preserving one’s own consciousness in working with others.
The long march includes the concerted effort to build up counterinstitutions. They have long been an aim of the movement, but the lack of funds was greatly responsible for their weakness and their inferior quality. They must be made competitive. This is especially important for the development of radical, “free” media. The fact that the radical Left has no equal access to the great chains of information and indoctrination is largely responsible for its isolation.

Moreover, because hegemonic values permeate all spheres of civil society — schools, churches, the media, voluntary associations — civil society itself, he argued, is the great battleground in the struggle for hegemony, the “war of position.” From this point, too, followed a corollary for which Gramsci should be known (and which is echoed in the feminist slogan) — that all life is “political.” Thus, private life, the work place, religion, philosophy, art, and literature, and civil society, in general, are contested battlegrounds in the struggle to achieve societal transformation.

Instead, it presents the plight of Bethlehem’s Christians as entirely the fault of the terrible Israelis. Ishaq, whom Zohar further identifies as a “Palestinian theologian,” laments: “Christmas celebrations are canceled this year — for it’s impossible to celebrate Christmas while our people in Gaza are going through a genocide. Dem Dark Money Giant Funding Anti-Israel Demonstrations Received $81M In Taxpayer Dollars OAN’s Elizabeth Volberding
9:38 AM – Sunday, December 24, 2023 – A left-winged dark money organization supporting anti-Israel protests throughout the United States has received large quantities in taxpayer-backed money and agreements in recent years.
According to a report of federal spending records, a powerful liberal dark money organization that supports anti-Israel activism nationwide has amassed enormous profits in recent years using taxpayer-funded grants and contracts.
The Tides Center, which provides funding to groups that support Hamas-related demonstrations following their lethal attack against Israel on October 7th, has long supported the progressive agenda financially, collaborating with billionaires like George Soros and Bill Gates.
However, documents state that with assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars, the Democrat-allied charity still has a major partner in the federal government, which between 2006 and 2023 gave the Tides Center more than $81.2 million either directly or through sub awards.
Adalah Justice Project, Palestine Legal, and the Catalyst Project are among the pro-Palestinian projects that profit from the Tides Center’s tax-exempt status. These organizations have frequently defended and minimized the Hamas-led attack on October 7th, which killed over 1,200 people in the Jewish state.
Over the years, the Tides Center and its sister organization, the Tides Foundation, have also contributed millions of dollars to organizations that have honored convicted terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, such as the Alliance for Global Justice, an Arizona charity that an investigation revealed had ties to Palestinian terrorism.
Benjamin Baird, director of Middle East Forum Action, which is a watchdog monitoring organization linked to terrorism, stated that the groups have even been spotting on university campuses “chanting for the destruction of Israel.”
“The Tides Center is a clearinghouse for funding far-left causes, including radical anti-Israel ‘resistance’ groups that have been spotted on college campuses chanting for the destruction of Israel,” Baird said. “It does not need any help from the federal government, which is only subsidizing extremism by bankrolling a Marxist-Islamist piggy bank like Tides.”
The Tides Center received nearly half of the $81.2 million through a subcontract or sub grant, meaning that the money was awarded to the organization after the federal government had first given a prime award to another organization, such as entities including City and County of San Francisco and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The U.S. Departments of Agriculture, State, Education, the Interior, and the U.S. Agency for International Development are just a few of the numerous agencies that provided awards to the Tides Center, which have an extensive policy focuses.

“But we did have kids here. So we want to make sure those kids are safe. They’re going to come back out in a second. It is a very hard time in this world. It’s a hard time, for us all to come together on a night like this too,” he added.

Dec. 24, 2023 7:45 am – Palestinian protestors injected more chaos into the lives of New Yorkers on Saturday. Their goal was to prevent shoppers from enjoying their last-minute gift buying on “Super Saturday.”
Millions of people are expected to be shopping throughout the U.S. on Saturday. In New York City the Pro-Hamas crowd vowed there would be “no business as usual” during the “genocide.”
While families were trying to enjoy their Christmas shopping, protestors were in the streets marching, carrying cut-outs of Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu covered in what appeared to be blood.
That’s not all. The Pro-Hamas crowd also vandalized a Lincoln statue with a communist symbol.
Apparently, they want the end of Israel – and communism in America.
But they call MAGA the threat to America?

Christmas celebrations have been canceled in Bethlehem as conflict between Israel and Hamas continues.
12:36 PM – Saturday, December 23, 2023 -Bethlehem Mayor Hanna Hanania has announced that the city municipality collectively “decided to limit Christmas celebrations to prayers and worship” without the annual spectacle as a “rejection and condemnation of Israeli aggression and the targeting of civilians, women, and children in the Gaza Strip.”
The decision was first announced in a joint letter on November 10th by the Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, an interdenominational council of bishops and pastors in charge of churches in the Holy Land.
“Each year during the sacred seasons of Advent and Christmastide, our Christian communities throughout the Holy Land take great delight in their preparations for the commemoration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” the patriarchs wrote in their letter. “In addition to attendance in religious services, these celebrations have normally involved participation in numerous public festivities and the large-scale display of brightly lit and expensive decorations as a means of expressing our joy at the approach and arrival of the Feast of the Nativity.”
“But these are not normal times. Since the start of the War, there has been an atmosphere of sadness and pain. Thousands of innocent civilians, including women and children, have died or suffered serious injuries,” the bishops continued. “Many more grieve over the loss of their homes, their loved ones, or the uncertain fate of those dear to them. Throughout the region, even more have lost their work and are suffering from serious economic challenges. Yet despite our repeated calls for a humanitarian ceasefire and a de-escalation of violence, the war continues.”
The Christian leaders stated that in the midst of more than a month of violence, they have chosen to minimize the glitz and glamor of neighborhood Christmas festivities in order to emphasize the holiday’s spiritual significance.

Residents are learning the hard way what it means to be a sanctuary city.
David Fitzgerald, 62, said he has noticed an influx of asylum seeker families showing up on his doorstep in Brooklyn’s Marine Park neighborhood in recent weeks asking for spare change — sparking safety fears among some of his neighbors.
“There’s definitely an invasion of immigrants from Floyd Bennett Field in our neighborhood and I see them sitting outside stores … outside the mall and going around to all the houses in the neighborhood, knocking on the door looking for money,” the retiree said.
“I certainly sympathize with their situation, but to have people knocking at your door looking for food that don’t speak English, it’s annoying. I don’t like it. We have never had this before, ever,” he continued.
Another resident shared his concerns over safety saying, “I don’t feel safe. I’m paying a lot of taxes from my salary. And I’m completely transparent to the IRS and everything so I think it’s enough, what we are already paying for them to support if we call ourselves a sanctuary city.”
Asked if he had a message for New York Mayor Adams or Joe Biden, he said, “Secure the border. That’s the only message.”

The US Supreme Court on Friday denied Jack Smith’s request for a ruling on Trump’s immunity argument.
Jack Smith last Monday asked the US Supreme Court to weigh in on Trump’s immunity claims.
President Trump on Wednesday urged the US Supreme Court to reject Jack Smith’s request to expedite the ruling on his immunity argument.
Trump’s lawyers argued that Trump is immune from federal prosecution for alleged ‘crimes’ committed while he served as US President.
“In 234 years of American history, no president ever faced criminal prosecution for his official acts. Until 19 days ago, no court had ever addressed whether immunity from such prosecution exists,” Trump’s lawyers wrote in Wednesday’s filing, according to CBS News. “To this day, no appellate court has addressed it. The question stands among the most complex, intricate, and momentous issues that this Court will be called on to decide.”
Jack Smith skipped over the appellate court and went straight to the US Supreme Court on Trump’s immunity claims.
On Thursday Jack Smith admitted his January 6 case is currently on hold. He admitted he wants to convict Trump before the 2024 election.
“This case involves—for the first time in our Nation’s history—criminal charges against a former President based on his actions while in office,” Smith wrote in Thursday’s filing, according to Fox News. “And not just any actions: alleged acts to perpetuate himself in power by frustrating the constitutionally prescribed process for certifying the lawful winner of an election. The Nation has a compelling interest in a decision on respondent’s claim of immunity from these charges—and if they are to be tried, a resolution by conviction or acquittal, without undue delay.”
“The court denied without comment special counsel Jack Smith’s request asking the justices to circumvent the normal appeals court process and quickly decide the legal question, which looms large in Trump’s criminal prosecution in Washington over allegations of election interference,” NBC News reported.
Jack Smith will now have to wait for the US Circuit Court of Appeals for DC to make a decision. Oral arguments begin on January 9, 2024.
The US Supreme Court may consider the appeal after the appellate court does, however there is a chance that the SCOTUS won’t take up this case in this term.
