Today’s total solar eclipse for April 8 2024 is expected to draw millions to the path of totality as it makes its way from Texas to Niagara Falls. The 100% eclipse totality will pass through Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, with the eclipse totality peaking between 1:30 pm CDT to 3:30 pm ET.

Apr. 8, 2024 10:00 am – As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, The European Organization for Nuclear Research, best known as CERN, will smash protons together at nearly the speed of light today during the solar eclipse.
After two years of hibernation, CERN will fire up the world’s largest Large Hadron Collider during the solar eclipse in an attempt to uncover unknown scientific phenomena such as dark energy, dark matter, and what the universe consists of.
According to CERN, the solar eclipse will not affect the beams in the LHC.
CERN website states, “Although the solar eclipse on April 8th will not affect the beams in the LHC, the gravitational pull of the moon, like the tides, changes the shape of the LHC because the machine is so big.”
In 2012, CERN gained worldwide attention after scientists reported finding the Higgs boson particle, also known as the ‘god particle.’
On its site, CERN describes the Large Hadron Collider as the “most powerful accelerator in the world, and it boosts particles, such as protons, which form all the matter we know. Accelerated to a speed close to that of light, they collide with other protons. These collisions produce massive particles, such as the Higgs boson or the top quark.”

CERN researchers put three beams of protons into the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), shooting them down a 17-mile-long tunnel at nearly the speed of light to recreate what happened 13.8 billion years ago.
The LHC smashed the particles together at unprecedented energy to try to blast into existence massive new particles that are secretly powering our universe.
The CERN team began preliminary tests last month by sending billions of protons around the LHC’s ring of superconducting magnets to boost their energy and ensure the $4 billion machine was in working condition.

APR 06, 2024 – We recently learned that the large particle accelerator, or Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN ready to once again smash protons together, and they’ve chosen a very special date to do so: April 8, the date of the solar eclipse.
We’ve been reporting on CERN since 2022. CERN is the world’s largest and most powerful particle collider. The collider is buried 574 feet underground, is nearly 17 miles long, and it is located in a circular underground tunnel at the Swiss-French. The last time is was activated was April 2022 after a three-year break.

What are they looking for?
In the 1960s, scientists had a theory that an original, elementary particle existed, with properties that would give all other particles their masses. On July 4, 2012, a new particle was discovered, and it appeared to be very much like the particle predicted by modeling decades earlier. This particle was like none other than scientists had ever seen; it didn’t have any of the quantum properties of other particles of matter. They named the particle Higgs boson, after the 1960s-era scientists who theorized it, but it is better known as the God particle.
In the famous novel by Dan Brown that became the film Angels and Demons, hero Robert Langdon (played by Tom Hanks) works with CERN scientist Dr. Vittoria Vetra, who is part of a confidential project involving the creation of antimatter (or the God particle). The film portrays the classic battle between the Catholic Church and the Illuminati. What is interesting is that the film was released in 2009, three years before the actual scientific discovery of the God particle.
CERN says that its scientists have made “tremendous steps forward” in their understanding of the universe since the Higgs Boson was discovered in 2012. Researchers not only confirmed the existence of the particle through further testing, but also started building a model of something called a Higgs field, a pervasive presence established a tenth of a billionth of a second after the Big Bang.
In other words, this particle is called the God particle because it is the key to the birth of the universe. “It determines the very nature of the vacuum which fills our space-time,” according to CERN physicist Yves Sirois. The Higgs boson is the missing link that makes matter and interactions of particles possible. That means it is responsible for the appearance of mass and the entirety of universe we live in. Without the Higgs boson or its field, nothing would exist – no atomic elements, no stars, and no life anywhere in the universe.

The earthquake occurred around roughly 10:26 a.m.
April 5, 2024 10:40am – A4.8 magnitude earthquake hit New Jersey on Friday and was felt across the Northeast, including as far away as Wilmington, Delaware according to news reports.
According to the U.S Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at 10:23 a.m. ET, north of Trenton and about 46 miles west of New York City.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul wrote on the social media platform, X that her team will be accessing the impact of what happened and will update the public throughout the day.
As of roughly 11 a.m., there were no reports of injuries or damage.

APR 04, 2024 – Various posts on Jill’s Facebook page caught my eye this morning. It turns out that around parts of the USA, there are empty grocery shelves, long lines for food and queues for gas. After all, the April 8th solar eclipse could cause death and destruction.
The National Guard has even been called to duty in Oklahoma. You know, to protect the locals from the hysterical hoards of tourists that will be flocking to small towns everywhere.
Having read the above article, the reason why the nuclear unit is involved is clear as mud. But a National Guard spokesman did state that the team is “just really a very highly-trained unit that can respond to various amount of things dealing with large crowds.” Good to know!
In fact, some local governments have been making emergency plans and preparations for months in advance. National guard units and military installations have been called in and are involved to keep people safe. Now I understand that some places can expect more than a few tourists, but really? Isn’t this overkill?
Then there are the projected food and fuel shortages.

Just to say it, a solar eclipse is not a national emergency, it is not a state emergency and it isn’t a local emergency.
To both encourage people to “stock up on food and fuel”, while simultaneously decrying that the shortages that will make this some sort of crazy COVIDcrisis toilet paper shortage is just…well… bizarre behavior on the part of government officials.

FEBRUARY 25, 2024 (BIBLICAL NEWS) – On April 8, a total solar eclipse will transverse the continental US, passing from the southwest California border with Mexico and crossing to the northwestern United States. While skeptics claim this astronomical phenomenon has no spiritual significance, others note that the last eclipse that transversed the United States ushered in a catastrophic hurricane season, the global COVID epidemic, the war in Ukraine, and the horrific Hamas attack on Israel. Such a series of events has led many to take note of the upcoming eclipse which takes place on the first day of Nisan, the first month of the Biblical calendar that also marks the beginning of the redemption from Egypt.
The total eclipse will pass over Mexico from the Pacific Ocean at around 11:07 AM PDT and continue over the United States, starting in the Southwest and moving northeast until it passes over the shore of the northeast U.S. in northern Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The eclipse will exit continental North America on the Atlantic coast of Newfoundland, Canada, at 5:16 p.m. NDT.
A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between earth and the sun, thereby obscuring the image of the sun for a viewer on earth. A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon’s apparent diameter (as seen from earth) is larger than the sun’s, blocking all direct sunlight and turning day into darkness. As it happens, the moon will make the month’s closest approach to earth (just 223,000 miles) one day before the total solar eclipse, thereby appearing its largest on the day it crosses between the earth and the sun.Total eclipse occurs only in a narrow path across the earth’s surface, with the partial solar eclipse visible over a surrounding region thousands of miles wide.
It will be the first solar eclipse visible in the continental U.S. since Aug. 21, 2017, and the only total solar eclipse in the 21st century where the totality will be visible in Mexico, the United States and Canada. It will also be the last total solar eclipse visible in the contiguous United States for the next two decades – until Aug. 23, 2044.
Whereas the path of the 2017 eclipse crossed from the Pacific northwest to southern Florida, the upcoming solar eclipse will begin traversing the continent from the southwest of the US and end in the Northeast. The paths of the two eclipses form a transcontinental ‘X.’ In a strange coincidence, the only spot in the path of both eclipses, receiving a double-dose of this modern plague of darkness, and the point of the longest duration for both eclipses, is a particular part of southern Illinois, known appropriately enough as Little Egypt. The Egyptian connection is so strong that there are several cities in the area named for ancient Egyptian places like Karnak, Cairo, and Thebes.

NASA to Launch Three ‘Sounding Rockets’ During Total Solar Eclipse — Project Named After the Egyptian God of Darkness and Chaos By Jim Hᴏft
Apr. 3, 2024 10:00 am – NASA is ready to launch three sounding rockets during the rare celestial event of a total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.
The mission aims to shed light on how the Earth’s upper atmosphere reacts to the sudden and temporary absence of sunlight.
The Atmospheric Perturbations around Eclipse Path (APEP) mission will see its sounding rockets ascend from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, targeting the ionosphere, a layer of Earth’s atmosphere that becomes notably disturbed when the Moon’s shadow eclipses the Sun.
This trio of rockets, which previously saw action during the annular solar eclipse in October 2023 at the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico, has been refurbished with advanced instrumentation for their upcoming mission.
The project is spearheaded by Aroh Barjatya, Professor of Engineering Physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida, and director of the Space and Atmospheric Instrumentation Lab.
The scheduled launch times for the sounding rockets are meticulously planned: one will ascend 45 minutes before the eclipse reaches its peak, another during the eclipse, and the final rocket will be launched 45 minutes after the peak.
This staggered launch sequence is crucial for capturing the dynamic changes in the ionosphere caused by the eclipse, changes that could potentially disrupt communication systems on Earth.
“It’s an electrified region that reflects and refracts radio signals, and also impacts satellite communications as the signals pass through,” said Barjatya. “Understanding the ionosphere and developing models to help us predict disturbances is crucial to making sure our increasingly communication-dependent world operates smoothly.”
Indiana Governor Declares State Of Emergency Ahead of Solar Eclipse Next Week By Jim Hᴏft
Apr. 2, 2024 6:00 pm – As the Hoosier state braces for a memorable celestial event, Governor Eric Holcomb has taken a proactive step by declaring a statewide disaster emergency in anticipation of the total solar eclipse set to occur on April 8th, 2024.
This measure is designed to prepare Indiana for the vast number of visitors expected to flock to the state to witness the rare occurrence.
The declaration, effective Wednesday, allows Indiana to utilize resources and aid from other states through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC).
This compact is a national mutual aid system which Indiana, along with all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and various American territories, have ratified.
Gov. Holcomb signed the order to address anticipated needs due to the significant influx of tourists. The EMAC members will share equipment and communications systems to help ensure safety during the eclipse-related surge in tourism, the Indiana Capital Chronicle.
Indiana is expecting hundreds of thousands of visitors for the April 8 event, which is also likely to prompt considerable in-state travel. Officials are predicting a “widespread and significant impact” on the state’s “critical infrastructure systems,” including those necessary for communication, emergency response, and transportation.
The governor’s order authorizes the leader of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to coordinate any required assistance with other local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring statewide preparedness. This action is a direct response to potential technological or other emergencies that could arise due to the heavy strain on emergency services.
Although Gov. Holcomb has utilized disaster declarations in the past, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been tensions between the governor’s office and state lawmakers concerning the extent and duration of such orders.
Despite previous disagreements, the current order is set to end on April 9, the day after the eclipse.

APR 02, 2024 – The solar eclipse on April 8th is becoming a major event. The National Guard is being deployed and the people are being advised to have two weeks of food and to fill their fuel tanks. This could all be explained due to the fact that tens of thousands of visitors are expected along the path of totality. But many people believe they could be preparing for possible earthquakes due to the Devil comet aligning with the April 8th eclipse, and due to the fact that in 1811, a comet also appeared in the skies during a solar eclipse on the same path and was followed by the biggest earthquakes in American history.

Niagra Falls Declares State of Emergency to Prepare for Total Solar Eclipse By Anthony Scott
Apr. 1, 2024 9:15 am – Canada’s Niagra Falls region has declared a state of emergency to prepare for the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8th.
In a press release, Niagra Regional Chair Jim Bradley said he issued a state of emergency “out of an abundance of caution.”
Bradley continued in the press release, “Declaring a State of Emergency under the EMCPA strengthens the tools the Region has at its disposal to safeguard the health and safety of residents and visitors and protect our critical infrastructure in any scenario that might arise.”
Ontario Mayor Jim Diodati is expecting the Canadian side of Niagra Falls to receive over one million visitors on the day the eclipse is set to occur, which is the main reason why Niagra officials decided to issue a state of emergency a week in advance before the solar eclipse is set to occur.

Niagara Falls, Canada, has declared a state of emergency ahead of the April 8 total eclipse as 1 million people are expected to flood the area.
The Ontario side of the falls has started to prepare for the expected influx in visitors coming to see the total social eclipse in early April.
The famous falls have been listed by National Geographic as one of the best places to see the eclipse – a phenomena not seen in the area since 1979. The city is within the path where the moon will entirely block the sun for a few minutes.
Mayor Jim Diodati estimated the city would see the most visitors in a single day on April 8 with an estimated 1 million expected. On average, the city see 14 million visit per year.
The state of emergency, which was announced Thursday, will allow the city to execute additional planning to help prepare for traffic jams, cell phone network overloads, and a higher need for emergency services, and more.
