Report: Decision to kill Haniyeh was made because he was an obstacle to hostage deal
New report on assassination of Hamas leader in Tehran says the bomb used to kill him used AI technology, was detonated remotely by Mossad agents.
Aug 1, 2024, 9:04 PM (GMT+3) Israel National News – New details continue to emerge from the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Tuesday night.
Two officials confirmed to Axios correspondent Barak Ravid the earlier report from the New York Times that Haniyeh was killed by an explosive that had been planted in the room where he had been staying two months before the assassination.
According to the latest report, Israeli intelligence learned which room Haniyeh stayed in during each of his visits to Tehran and planted an explosive that featured artificial intelligence technology. The device was then detonated remotely by alleged Mossad agents in Iran after they received word that Haniyeh was in the room.
The report also stated that the American government had not been informed of the assassination ahead of time.
One source stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the final decision to have the Mossad assassinate Haniyeh and that the efforts to achieve a deal with Hamas to free the 115 hostages still held in Gaza was one of the key considerations.
According to the source, Haniyeh was seen as a hardliner in the negotiations and it was determined that removing him would remove an obstacle to a ceasefire deal, despite the “pragmatic” face Haniyeh attempted to present to the mainstream media.
“Haniyeh presented a pragmatic face to the mediators but internally inside Hamas led a hard line,” the source said.
Earlier, the New York Times reported that the bomb was planted approximately two months ago in the guesthouse, which is managed and protected by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and is part of a large compound, known as Neshat, in northern Tehran.
According to IRGC officials, the explosion shook the building, shattered some windows, and caused the partial collapse of an exterior wall.
Iranian media had reported on Wednesday that the Hamas leader was killed by an Israeli-made Spike short-range missile was launched at the leader’s bedroom in northern Tehran from within Iranian territory.

Why Has the Biden Administration Donated Close to One Billion Dollars in “Aid” to Hamas since the October 7 Massacre? by Robert Williams

- Since October 7…. the total of US taxpayer funds donated to Gaza as a reward since the massacre on October 7 to $896 million, or close to a billion dollars.
- A lawsuit, brought in December 2022 and updated in March 2024, by Rep. Ronny Jackson and victims of terror attacks in Israel, alleges that President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken “knowingly and unlawfully” provided more than $1.5 billion in aid to Gaza and the West Bank since taking office. Biden and Blinken have “known for years” that the US aid is providing “material support” for Hamas’ “tunnels, rockets, weapon procurement, and command and control infrastructure,” among other terror structures, the lawsuit stated.
- The Biden administration has sought to have the case dismissed twice but failed. On June 28, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas ruled that the lawsuit can proceed, and that there is evidence the Biden administration continued awarding taxpayer cash to UNRWA even after Congress blocked funding to that group due to its support for Hamas’s military infrastructure.
- In short, the Biden administration has donated less to Sudan and DRC Congo combined, where a total of nearly 50 million people face starvation, than to Gaza, where 2 million people face no such thing. What is going on? And where is Congress?
- According to FBI director Christopher Wray, “the actions of Hamas and its allies will serve as an inspiration the likes of which we haven’t seen since ISIS launched its so-called caliphate years ago.” Iran, officially labeled the world’s leading sponsor of state terrorism by the 2023 US annual Terrorism Report, calls the US “the Great Satan” and continues to vow “Death to America.”

EVIL ERADICATED: HAMAS CHIEF ISMAIL HANIYEH ASSASSINATED IN IRAN
Hamas chief Ismael Haniyeh has been assassinated in Iran, according to a statement from the Iran Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) aired on Press TV.
July 30, 2024 11:00 p.m. ET The Yeshiva World – “With condolences to the heroic nation of Palestine and the Islamic nation and the combatants of the Resistance Front and the noble nation of Iran, this morning [Wednesday] the residence of Mr. Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of the Islamic Resistance of Hamas, was hit in Tehran, and following this incident, he and one of his bodyguards were martyred,” the IRGC statement read.
According to initial reports, Haniyeh was killed along with his bodyguard at his home in Tehran when a precision missile was fired into the residence. Additional details were not immediately available.
Hamas confirmed that Haniyeh is dead. The terror leader had been in Iran to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the country’s new president, Masoud Pezeshkian.
During his time in Iran, Haniyeh and Palestinian Islamic Jihad secretary general Ziyad Al-Nakhaleh met with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.
Now, in a span of just 12 hours, the head of Hamas and the top military commander of Hezbollah have both been unceremoniously dispatched to death.

INSANITY: Prosecutors Called Hamas Terrorists In Gaza To Testify Against IDF Soldiers
July 30, 2024 6:36 am Yeshiva World News – The IDF soldiers who were arrested on Monday for allegedly abusing a terrorist held at the Sde Teiman detention camp were held overnight and are being brought for a hearing on Tuesday afternoon, where military police will ask for an extension of their arrest.

The soldiers’ arrest led to widespread anger and an unprecedented “revolt” – with protesters, including ministers and MKs, storming the Sdei Teiman facility and later the Beis Lid military police base, where the soldiers were interrogated and held.
Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich revealed shocking details about the behavior of the Military Prosecution in the case. “They proactively called Hamas terrorists in Gaza – terrorists who were held in Sde Teiman and were released to Gaza – and asked them if they had any testimony against IDF soldiers who guarded them there,” Smotrich revealed on Channel 14 News on Monday evening.
“This is unacceptable,” Smotrich continued. “It’s one thing if there’s a complaint, then it should be investigated. But to send investigators to proactively call Hamas terrorists in Gaza and ask for evidence against IDF soldiers. I’m saying this based on reliable information from people in the military system who were shocked by the instructions they received to carry out against IDF soldiers.”
Smotrich’s words were confirmed on Tuesday morning during a meeting of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. The top prosecutor at the military prosecutor’s office admitted that calls were made to terrorists in Gaza to find out about the treatment they received from IDF in Sde Teiman.
This means that 10 IDF soldiers were arrested, interrogated, and held overnight based on terrorists’ testimony!
Meanwhile, over nine months after the October 7 massacre, the Military Prosecution has not completed even one indictment against the Nukbah terrorists but they somehow have time to investigate IDF soldiers.
Otzma Yehudit MK Limor Son Har-Melech, who participated in the Foreign Affairs and Defense meeting, told Arutz Sheva: “We are dealing with a Military Advocate General whose worldviews are sick and distorted. We don’t begin to understand the depth and breadth of the consequences of yesterday’s events in relation to our soldiers, in relation to the message that goes out to the world, and in relation to those who are holding our hostages.”
It should be noted that Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi was summoned to the Knesset meeting on the issue but did not show up.
Journalist Akiva Bigman wrote about Tomer-Yerushalmi: “Since entering office, Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi has not missed an opportunity to lead the politicization, polarization, and radicalization of the military prosecution system. Under her leadership, the military prosecutor’s office became a branch of The Hague, a hostile body trying to introduce foreign interests into the IDF and harm its fighting spirit.”
MK Almog Cohen responded: “I am astonished that phone calls were made to terrorists inside Gaza while our holy soldiers are fighting the most justified war in history. This is a moral bankruptcy of the army commanders, led by the Military Prosecution, who are seeking victims from our children who were sent to battle.”

Why is Hezbollah not afraid of Israel? Because .. Israel is doing everything to convey that it is afraid of a war with it. And worse, all the statements hint that the ‘war’ .. will be another ‘Second Lebanon War’. A meaningless maneuver and bombing buildings. And maybe some pyrotechnics in Beirut. Nothing to do with the destruction of Lebanon or a long-term occupation.
