Joining us today is attorney Sidney Powell, who has been leading election lawsuits in multiple states. On Friday, she filed emergency requests to the Supreme Court, asking the justices to order officials in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona to de-certify their 2020 election results. We discuss the current status of the legal challenges she’s involved in and her thoughts on the Supreme Court’s rejection of the Texas lawsuit as well as the conclusion of the Flynn case.
In this interview, Lawyer Sidney Powell asserts that due to alleged foreign interference in the Nov. 3 election, “it’s more than sufficient to trigger” President Donald Trump’s executive order on foreign interference issued in 2018.
In September 2018, Trump signed an executive order that says “not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election,” according to the text of the order.
Powell told The Epoch Times she believes due to that executive order, it can give Trump “all kinds of power … to do everything from seize assets to freeze things, demand the impoundment of the machines,” referring to voting machines.
“Under the emergency powers, he could even appoint a special prosecutor to look into this, which is exactly what needs to happen,” Powell added. “Every machine, every voting machine in the country should be impounded right now. There’s frankly more than enough criminal probable cause to justify that, for anybody who’s willing to address the law and the facts purely on the basis of truth and not politics, or corporate greed, or global wealth.”
MY TAKE:
In the light of substantial evidence, I firmly believe this entire election was rigged by corrupt and feckless Democrats from the top down, using a combination of unethical, unconstitutional tactics to swing the election in their favor, including but not limited to:
- leveraging the so-called “pandemic” as a thinly-veiled excuse to justify the solicitation of massive, unaccountable mail-in ballots
- electronic manipulation by voting machines specifically designed to weigh, transfer, selectively validate and ultimately generate a pre-determined outcome
- illegal usurpations of plenary Constitutional legislative power to control the voting processes in several key states, resulting in what’s being euphemistically called “irregularities” by liberal governors and state courts.
The machinations of this year’s election were certainly present back in 2016 — the fix was in, Hillary and her minions thought. But the overwhelming popularity and support of Donald Trump simply overwhelmed all the safeguards, “insurance policies“, and other underhanded tactics put in place by corrupt liberal operatives to influence the electoral results and, ultimately, the winner. And… they failed.
I quite suspect the Dems were actually less surprised by the mammoth size of Trump’s voter base than by the inability of their rigging mechanisms to overcome the landslide. Their tools just weren’t up to the job… but this time, they pulled out the stops. Too bad for the Dems that with such desperation also comes significantly greater risk of exposure. Apparently, they didn’t (or couldn’t) see it coming.
In my view, anyone asserting that there is no, little, or insufficient evidence of election fraud in 2020 to justify the nullification of the alleged outcome is either corrupt, misinformed, or intentionally ignorant. Or all of the above, which pretty much defines today’s neo-liberal Socialist/Democrat.
One may recall a common reaction displayed by devastated liberals in the aftermath of the 2016 election, declaring that Trump was “not my president.” Oh, such a widespread gnashing of millions of teeth!
Well, that knife can cut both ways, and if the “Harris-Biden” [sic] crime scene is not fully exposed and indictments filed, with Trump being duly and legitimately inaugurated for his second term in January, then I do believe “not my president” will scarcely begin to describe the response by all good conservatives in this country.
And while the liberals will most certainly riot in such a case, making last summer’s BLM/Antifa attempts at insurrection look like a child’s tantrum, the likelihood of a massive and coordinated counterstrike by right-wingers long ago fed up with executive pandering to these rioters will be the surest bet of 2021.
