A Conversation with the Justice Clarence Thomas

Today I stumbled across a wonderful video filmed at the Library of Congress of a conversation with Associate Justice Clarence Thomas. It reveals quite a lot about this quiet man, including the lighter side which we seldom ever see. I thought this video provided such a fine glimpse into the soul of arguably the most important contemporary Associate Justice on the high bench that I just had to archive it in the KrakenNews Library.

Considered by many (especially among those on the right) the intellectual leader of the US Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas can always be counted upon to present and uphold true conservative values and adhere to a strict, unflinchingly originalist interpretation of the Constitution and the precedents of law emanating from that astounding document. Along with the late Justice Antony Scalia, with whom Thomas was very close, he has been the rock of reason within SCOTUS for the past three decades.

I hope you’ll take an hour and enjoy this video.
