Lich and Barber are scheduled to make their first court appearances in Ottawa on Friday.
Yesterday Lich expressed online that she expected to be arrested soon.

In December, the U.N. General Assembly created a permanent, hostile, anti-Israel body – “Commission of Inquiry” – charged with the following responsibilities:
1) Determine if Israel is guilty of apartheid.
2) Pursue criminal prosecutions against Israelis.
3) Pressure governments and businesses to engage in BDS (the boycott, divestment and sanctioning of the Jewish state).

New Zealand police declared Friday they will not forcibly remove anti-mandate protesters from the national Parliament’s grounds in the capital.
Wellington’s police had initially tried to break the protest by arresting 120 individuals last Thursday, in a move that backfired when footage emerged and subsequently went viral on social media of officers dragging a naked woman by her hair.
Due to the anger caused by the police’s aggressive approach, numbers of protesters built – with over 1,500 individuals replacing the 200 police attempted to move on.
New Zealand’s Police Commissioner Andrew Coster has reiterated “enforcement action taken by police runs the real risk of injury to the public, escalation in numbers of people, and a transition away from a largely peaceful protest to violence”.

The Canadian parliament in Ottawa has cancelled its Friday sitting due to expected police action in the area against the Freedom Convoy.
Following reports the Canadian police were preparing to break up the protest, parliamentary officials said their Friday session was cancelled.
The Canadian House of Commons Speaker Anthony Rota released a warning for representatives, advising them to “stay away from the downtown core until further notice” due to the impending clash between protestors and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s police officers.
The call to vacate the area came an hour or so before Ottawa Police made public their next move by issuing a general warning.

Quebec stepped up its “deconfinement plan” this week and began lifting coronavirus restrictions, while Premier Francois Legault rejected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s effort to crush the Freedom Convoy protest movement by invoking emergency powers.
“I think that I was very clear with the prime minister that the federal Emergencies Act should not, must not apply in Quebec,” Legault said on Monday. “We don’t have any problems in Quebec so far. The Sureté du Québec has everything under control.”
There were Freedom Convoy demonstrations in Montreal and Quebec City over the past two weeks, but they were relatively restrained and mostly held over weekends. Legault said using the emergency powers offered by Trudeau against the protesters would be unwarranted and divisive.
“I think that at this moment, it would not help the social climate. There’s a lot of pressure right now, and I think we have to be careful. We really don’t need to throw oil on the fire,” he said.

The National Institutes of Health has repeatedly failed to comply with congressional requests for documents related to its involvement with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, instead forcing agency personnel to “shred notes and other documents” referencing the Chinese Communist Party-run lab and its work with the U.S. government during the Obama administration.
Members of the Republican House Committee on Oversight and Reform wrote a letter to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Director Xavier Becerra urging the release of the documents, which could prove highly relevant to the origins of COVID-19.
