As the latest current thing rolls on down the prefabricated tracks toward the intended end goals of all current things — less liberty for you and more power for the state — astroturfed groups funded by the usual global managers in joint efforts with massagers of celebrity culture are doing their part to activate the borg toward wanting more gun laws.
As always, all of it is cloaked in pretenses of safety and security and saving lives. Absolutely none of it intended to actually solve the problem, because the state is never interested in real meaningful solutions that result in improving the quality of life for citizens. A state at perpetual war with its citizens would never create problems and then provide solutions that do not make things much, much worse for those citizens, hoping to only create future opportunities for providing “solutions”.
Without chaos and disorder moving the masses through fear and apprehension the state’s power is weakened, and politicians lose the dependency of their constituents and the ability to further entrench them in self-desired subjugation, and that is precisely what more gun laws are intended to do.

I am one of many Canadians who are fascinated by American politics, but are also sickened by the corruption we see, by and large coming from the Democrats and the left.
I am also a fan of your writings that I find cogent and insightful as I did this one.
Your piece, deals particularly with the Sussman case and the factors that led to his acquittal which you note as being the product of the corrupt Washington beltway swamp that undermines not only truth and decency, but in a word justice and justice is what was undermined in the Sussman case.
That as you well know is however, just one part of what has been for years called metaphorically the deep swamp by conservative journalists such as yourself, which refers to the pervasive corruption that runs deep within your American political system.
The corruptors are largely a number within the Democrat party, the heads of a number of government agencies and those directly under them, not the least of which is the FBI which actively sought to undermine Trump as well as FBI head Comey giving Hillary Clinton a pass on her illegal actions. The CIA head Brennan, the NSA head Clapper and IRS too were part of the swamp.
Under those upper echelon members of those agencies are a very great many unelected Democrat supporting bureaucratic functionaries whose corrupt actions include leaking innuendo, half truths and lies into the public sphere to harm Republicans or any conservative who might pose a challenge to Democrat agendas and interests. They are of course aided by both the left wing social and main stream media – MSM, all supporting and protecting Democrats while attacking Republicans or conservatives. Such was the case with the 2016 “October Surprise” and with the MSM/Social media refusing to publish anything re: the Hunter Biden Laptop save to falsely claim it was Russian disinformation.
This deep swamp as you also know is not just a recent phenomena that was fueled by unmitigated Trump hatred, which continues to this day. It has existed for many years. It was quite evident in the Obama administration for instance with IRS’s actions to greatly delay granting tax charitable status to conservative organization applicants to blunt their efforts to support Republicans in upcoming elections and the corrupt standards of the Eric Holder AG to support the views and agendas of Obama and Democrats.
As I said at the outset, I much admire your cogent insightful writings and analysis and look forward to reading many more of your articles.
One last thought.
For years I have been reading informed insightful articles such as yours, but note they are for the most part being read only by conservative/Republican minded Americans. Conservative media is largely outnumbered by social media and national, State and local MSM – TV, Radio and Print which are left wing and Democrat supporters.
The challenge to you and your fellow conservative minded writers is to figure out and devise a united game plan to have your cogent and insightful analyses reach the vast majority of Americans, who for now largely rely on left wing social media and MSM for their news and views.
One hope is that increasing numbers of Americans have been waking up to the ineptitudes or the deliberate single minded wrong headed ideological agenda of Biden and his administration because his failed policies are sorely impacting them directly. Social media and the MSM’s defence of Biden and his administration are cracking under the pressure of his serial failures that seem to mount weekly.
I think therefore that there is no better time than now for American conservative journalists, analysts and experts such as yourself to band together, find ways to reach the vast majority of Americans and share with them the facts, historical and current truths, your insights and wisdom that social media and the MSM have been keeping from them for so long.

16. ! David McCormick Concedes to Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania Senate Primary Race [8:10]
Republican David McCormick conceded the Republican primary race for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania on Friday evening, solidifying Dr. Mehmet Oz’s candidacy against Democrat Lt. Gov. John Fetterman in the battleground general election race.
McCormick made an announcement Friday night, more than two weeks after election day and while a recount was ongoing, that he had called Oz to congratulate him on the race earlier in the day and that he planned to support the celebrity doctor in his battle against Fetterman.
“We’ve spent the last 17 days making sure that every Republican vote was counted in a way that would result in the will of the Pennsylvania voters being fulfilled,” McCormick said. “But it’s now clear to me with the recount largely complete that we have a nominee.”
McCormick continued, “And today I called Mehmet Oz to congratulate him on his victory, and I told him what I always said to you, that I will do my part to try to unite Republicans and Pennsylvanians behind his candidacy, behind his nomination for the Senate.”
McCormick, a former hedge fund CEO and military veteran, trailed Oz by fewer than 1,000 votes out of more than 1.3 million cast as the initial ballot counting process wrapped up last week, and both he and Oz had deployed attorneys across the state to scrutinize the ballot counting process as remaining mail-in ballots, provisional ballots, and ballots outstanding for any other reason were addressed in various counties.
McCormick’s campaign had initially expressed confidence that McCormick would prevail once all ballots were counted, saying its calculations had made the campaign “bullish” that McCormick would pull ahead of Oz.
The ballot counting process had heightened in intensity last week after McCormick filed a lawsuit on May 23 seeking for counties to count mail-in ballots that had been sent in undated envelopes, a move that Oz opposed.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested former White House economic adviser Peter Navarro on Friday, acting on a referral from the Democrat-run House that held him in contempt for refusing to testify at the partisan January 6 Committee.
The arrest came one day after Navarro appeared on left-wing MSNBC to promise that he would lead efforts to promote the impeachment of President Joe Biden if Republicans take Congress in the midterm elections, which they are expected to do.

Former White House economic adviser Peter Navarro contested the charges against him in federal court in Washington, DC, on Friday, after he was arrested by the FBI on two counts of contempt of Congress for defying the January 6 committee.
Navarro spent hours in custody and in court, “having at it,” in the words of Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto. He confirmed that he had been arrested while boarding a domestic flight, and placed into “handcuffs” and “leg irons.”

Guillermina Fuentes, 66, could get probation for running what investigators with the Arizona attorney general’s office said was an operation in the border city of San Luis to persuade voters to let her gather — and in some cases fill out — their ballots, the AP said.
