A new poll of Palestinians in the Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip released on Tuesday shows that the Islamist organization Hamas has edged ahead of Fatah, the PLO’s main nationalist faction, in terms of public support, though backing for both groups is in decline.
The survey conducted by the Ramallah-based Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) revealed that 33 percent of Palestinians believe that Hamas should be leading the Palestinian struggle, with only 23 percent opting for Fatah under its current leader, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who has clung to his post since 2005.
However, a plurality of respondents — 38 percent — said that neither group deserved a leadership role.

York, Pa. — WellSpan officials and the York County Coroner addressed the dramatic increase in sudden unexplained infant deaths (SUIDs) at a press conference at WellSpan York Hospital on Tuesday. Officials say they’ve seen as many deaths in the past six months as they typically see in an entire year. Four to five babies had died throughout the entirety of 2021. As of 2022, six babies have died so far in York County, and two more have died in Adams County.
The most common theme that officials are seeing in the infant deaths are babies sleeping in an unsafe environment. They stress that babies should only ever be sleeping on their back, with an appropriate mattress, with nothing else in the crib or bassinet. Doctors hope educating people on best practices will greatly reduce risk.
Maine is on track to see the most deadly motorcycle crashes in 5 years

Maine has seen 18 fatal motorcycle crashes resulting in 18 deaths so far this year, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss. This far surpasses the 11 motorcycle crashes resulting in 11 deaths and nine motorcycle crashes resulting in 10 deaths Maine had seen in the first six months of 2021 and 2020, respectively.
The state hasn’t yet pinpointed one cause behind the increase, as the crashes have multiple contributing factors.

Breyer was nominated to the court in 1994 by President Bill Clinton.
Breyer’s replacement, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, 51, will be sworn it at the same time as Breyer retires. Jackson, who was appointed by Joe Biden to fulfill a campaign promise of nominating a Black woman to the court, was confirmed by the Senate on April 7 on a near party line vote of 53-47.

When you fail to “kill” the king; if history is any guide, he will come back with a vengeance.
Many of us have known for some time that Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, is a corrupt, immoral, unethical, inept man. He has been called out for his ethical breaches many times. There was his attack on Jody Wilson-Raybould, who was demoted because Trudeau didn’t like her investigation into Montreal-based SNC-Lavalin. Then he unethically accepted a trip to the Aga Khan’s island at a time when the Aga Khan was discussing funding for projects with Trudeau’s government. And how about that We Charity unethical, immoral, illegal moment?
Now there are accusations of Trudeau improperly interfering in the investigation into the mass shooting in Nova Scotia-for his own political gains.
And let us not forget that our esteemed PM has been ridiculed worldwide for his imposition of the Emergencies Act. Members of the European Parliament stated loud and clear “Canada has become a “symbol of civil rights violations.” Quite a public shaming.
Hard to believe, there is more. He seeks revenge when his decrees are not obeyed. There is no doubt, our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is a vengeful and vindictive man. He is taking Canada away from our Western Values where we are taught that vengeance belongs to God, that we are to be a just and merciful people, to an evil Honour/Shame culture where vengeance is woven into the fabric of society. There are many honour/shame cultures, today. Islam comes to mind.

A massive meat rendering facility is due to begin construction in Rapid City, South Dakota next year, with plans for its completion by 2026. The 1.1 billion dollar facility is known as the, “Western Legacy Development Corporation,” and it promises to bring large-scale production to the beef industry, rendering an estimated 8,000 cattle per day. The processing plant is said to be one million square feet in size, once completed. On the positive side, this could provide new competition for Cargill, Tyson and the other monopolistic food giants that are steeped in a lot of evil practices. Perhaps a more independent, privately-owned beef production facility would provide food supply chain redundancy and increased efficiencies that would ultimately lead to lower food prices for Americans. On the other hand, several things being touted about this facility are definitely raising eyebrows. We cover this and many other topics in today’s feature article and podcast here. |
