Sometimes there are destructive people that we feel we are forced to inhibit and cage in self-defense. And still other times, we try to control those around us out of irrational fear.

“One fuming passenger claimed the ordeal had delayed the start of their holiday by eight hours. According to passengers, Jet2 does not compensate for delays due to medical emergencies.

Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen on Monday said that under his tenure Israel had carried out “countless operations” in the heart of Iran against its nuclear program, adding that the Islamic Republic was “lying to the whole world” when it said its program was for peaceful purposes.
“During my term as Mossad director, countless operations were conducted against Iran’s nuclear program,” he said to an audience of 1,500 Jewish leaders at a World Zionist Organization anniversary event in Basel.
“Without going into too many details, I can tell you the Mossad had many successes in the fight against Iran’s nuclear program,” Cohen said. “We operated around the world and on Iranian soil itself, in the very heartland of the ayatollahs.”

Israel’s rational and irrational Iran policies Caroline Glick
Faced with a nuclear deal that hamstrings the IAEA and massively enriches the Islamic Republic, transforming it into a nuclear-armed regional power, Jerusalem must now make a choice.
As news emerged last week that the United States and Iran are on the verge of concluding a new nuclear deal, Israelis were given two very different interpretations of events. Caretaker Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Defense Minister Benny Gantz, along with their media flacks, responded by insisting that although the deal is bad, Lapid and Gantz are handling it like pros and reducing the damage in profound ways.
Barak Ravid, their media mouthpiece, reported that as a result of National Security Adviser Eyal Hulata’s meeting with his U.S. counterpart Jake Sullivan, the administration toughened its positions on the key issues of International Atomic Energy Agency investigations of three nuclear installations that Iran did not disclose, and of sanctions against entities controlled by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps. Lapid is bragging that Israel is satisfied with U.S. responses to Israel’s concerns.
Gantz traveled to the U.S. on Thursday. He leaked his similar “satisfaction” with the results of his trip. Ravid reported that Gantz left his meeting with Sullivan with the sense that the Biden administration is preparing a military option against Iran’s nuclear installations. To be sure, Sullivan said nothing of the sort. But Gantz, all the same, got the feeling that this is the case.
Discordantly, even as the media pumps out the Lapid-Gantz propaganda, quieter reports have streamed in that Biden hasn’t spoken with Lapid for more than a month and a half and refuses to take his calls now or set up a time to meet with him at the U.N. General Assembly meeting in September.
More importantly, Mossad Director David Barnea set off the alarm bells loud and clear in a media briefing on Thursday. Barnea said the Biden administration has betrayed Israel’s most basic existential interests with this deal, which he referred to as “a strategic disaster” for Israel. He explained that the agreement “gives Iran license to amass the required nuclear material for a bomb,” as well as the financial means to massively expand its regional aggression through the likes of Hezbollah, the Assad regime and Palestinian terror groups supported by Iran in Gaza, Judea and Samaria.

From all indications, Iran is gearing up for a major escalation of fighting against Israel, but it is not ready to directly attack. It wants its proxies in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza and seemingly Yemen (maybe even Iraq) to overwhelm Israeli missile defenses with thousands of rockets from all directions. (One must also assume that Iran is working with some Israeli Arabs to create a fifth column of terror attacks within Israel itself in the case of any war.)”

Defense Against Iran: Mossad Director Goes to DC by AFSI Staff
David Barnea, the director of Mossad agency is scheduled to visit Washington D.C. next week. He is slated to speak with senior White House officials about the nuclear talks in Vienna. The Biden administration and European powers involved in the talks are widely expected to wrap up negotiations with Tehran in the next few weeks. This would lead to the signing of an agreement restoring the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
Last week Barnea sharply criticized the Biden White House over the impending agreement and accused the administration of lying to Israel. “We are making a pasted copy of the 2015 agreement, and the only thing that remains from this is the text,” Barnea said in closed conversations.
Interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid thought he had made headway pressuring the US but seems to now understand that the deal that is on the table releases billions of dollars to Iran for its own nefarious plans and to fund its terror proxies, many of whom are surrounding Israel now. Every Israeli understands that this terrible deal needs to have “tighter” IAEA oversight and include restrictions on Tehran’s ballistic missile program.
Biden has not taken his phone calls. First, the White House blamed Biden’s unavailability on his recent vacation, which ended last Wednesday. With both men set to speak at the United Nations General Assembly in September, Lapid is hoping for an in-person meeting.
So much for all the land given to Arabs by Lapid and Gantz during Biden’s trip. Useless show of weakness!

Former FBI Washington Field Office Assistant Special Agent in Charge Tim Thibault was reportedly escorted out of the bureau on Friday, amid whistleblower allegations that he showed political bias in his handling of politically sensitive investigations.

“Toilets were put up today, but there’s no running water,” he said, after three nights of sleeping in his small red hatchback in a crawling queue of trucks, tractors towing trailers and private cars. “This is beyond imagination, people are sleeping in their cars. I remember the communist times but it didn’t cross my mind that we could return to something even worse.”

The far-right, anti-immigrant Sweden Democrats (SD) party overtook the main right-wing opposition party in the polls on Monday ahead of the parliamentary elections on 11 September, becoming Sweden’s second largest party general elections in September, Euroactiv reported.
According to the latest opinion poll from SVT/Novus, the Sweden Democrats are now the main challengers of Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson’s incumbent Social Democrats currently leading a minority government.
Sweden Democrats stood at 21.5%, compared to the Moderate’s 17.4%, pitting the eurosceptic party only behind the ruling Social Democrats, who stood at 27.8%.

- Sweden has one of the world’s worst recorded rape rates. In 2018, the state broadcaster SVT revealed that 58% of men convicted in Sweden of rape and attempted rape over the previous five years were born abroad. Some of the most brutal rape cases have involved Muslim or African immigrants.
- Unfortunately, such problems are no longer confined only to major cities. They are spreading to smaller towns and even rural areas across Sweden. Kalmar, a relatively small medieval town of historical importance, has experienced multiple deadly gang shootings.

‘They wanted me to be murdered’: ‘Never before seen’ security camera video shows swatting of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s home PAUL SACCA
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) recently released security camera video of her home being swatted. The Republican representative from Georgia vehemently spoke out against the swatting – saying that those behind the fraudulent 911 call wanted her “to be murdered.”
During an interview with Right Side Broadcasting Network (RBSN), Greene shared “never before seen security camera footage” of the potentially deadly swatting incident at her home in Rome, Georgia.
Someone called 911 to report an alleged shooting at Alan Dershowitz,Greene’s home early Wednesday morning. The caller alleged that a man had been shot five times in the chest and was lying in a bathtub. The shooter was allegedly a woman with a loaded gun who was suicidal. The 911 caller claimed that there were children in the house.
Greene said police officers were looking for “a female with a gun that is threatening to kill herself.”
