An 11th-grade Randallstown High School student died Wednesday after collapsing during football practice due to a medical emergency.
At around 6 pm on Tuesday, the county police were called to the school for a medical emergency involving a 16-year-old student.
A spokesperson for Baltimore County Public Schools, Gboyinde Onijala, said that an athletic trainer was present when the incident occurred and that “staff on site did immediately begin to administer help until emergency medical services personnel responded,” according to Baltimore Banner.
Michael Jones, the principal at Randallstown, did not name the student who died and would not release further details on the circumstances of his passing.

“This is an urgent message,” the statement began. “Students are safe. We will be dismissing at 10:45 a.m. today, Sept. 6, due to a medical crisis on campus.”

Children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years experienced “local and systemic reactions” after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, according to data from June 18, 2022, to August 21, 2022, released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The CDC collected the information with the help of a program called V-Safe, a smartphone-based monitoring system that functions with an app that parents download and use on their devices.
“This provides personalized and confidential health check-ins via text messages and web surveys so you can quickly and easily share with CDC how you, or your dependent, feel after getting a COVID-19 vaccine.”
According to the study, systemic reactions were more frequently reported after COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 6 months–2 years than for children aged 3–5 years. The most frequent reactions reported to v-safe for children aged 6 months–2 years included irritability or crying, sleepiness, and loss of appetite. These reactions are consistent with the clinical trial findings and are common after childhood vaccination.

Parents protest acceptance of transgender child in Israeli religious school
“Why does my child need to know at such a young age that there are things like this in the world?”
It appears that U.S. transgender politics has reached the Jewish state. A group of parents of children at a religious public elementary school in central Israel protested Friday over the acceptance of a transgender boy, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The report referred to an article in the Hebrew-language B’Sheva newspaper last week that noted the boy’s presence at the school. B’Sheva caters to a religious audience, and many readers with children at the school were outraged that they had not been informed about the student’s sex at birth. The school administration and the Education Ministry were reportedly aware of the situation.
