A short memory may be helpful as a coping mechanism, but it is deadly in matters of foreign policy.
(September 11, 2022 / JNS) Sunday marks the twenty-first anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. The magnitude of the audacious assault on key symbols of American greatness and power—the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia—was so extreme that it was likened to an apocalypse.
Footage of the Twin Towers toppling, with some desperate office workers opting to die by jumping out of windows, rather than remain with the thousands of others who met their painful end inside the crumbling inferno, kept being compared to scenes from a Stephen Spielberg blockbuster.
The shockwaves at home and abroad were compounded by the fact that the United States had been insulated from combat on its soil (other than during the Civil War of 1861-1865) and from Islamist terrorism. In the space of some two hours on that fateful morning, Americans were shaken out of the blissfully false sense of security that was responsible for initial news reports of a possible aviation accident.
We Israelis, on the other hand, understood from the first minute that this was no mishap. Though just as horrified and taken aback as everyone else by the scope and location of the mass murder, we were not surprised by its onset.

In his now famous speech to SS officers in Posen on October 4, 1943, Henrich Himmler, Reichsführer SS, assured those involved in the annihilation of the Jewish people they had remained decent. “Most of you know what it means to see one hundred corpses piled up, or five hundred, or one thousand,” he said. “To have gone through this and-except for instances of human weakness-to have remained decent, that has made us tough. This is an unwritten, never-to-be written, glorious page of our history.” [1]
“It is basically wrong” he said, “to allow our attitude towards foreign peoples to be swayed by our disinclination to hurt, by our natural friendliness, our good nature or our idealism…. For the SS man there is one absolute principle; he must be honest, decent, loyal and friendly to persons of our own blood—and to no one else. I am totally indifferent to what happens to the Russians or the Czechs.” According to German historian Hans Buchheim this meant National Socialism called for “insensibility, mercilessness and savagery toward all of its opponents.” [2]
Himmler gave the speech “clearly, deliberately, and emphatically, but for the most part dispassionately, much like a schoolmaster reviewing a long and somewhat complicated lesson for his pupils.” He observed sarcastically how Germans favored persecution of the Jews, yet “then they all come along, the 80 million worthy Germans, and each one has his one decent Jew. Of course, the others are swine, but this one, he is a first-rate Jew.” [3]
Steve Bannon Has Message for ‘Every Conservative in America’ After Surrendering to Authorities By Matthew Holloway
Steve Bannon, a former strategist for President Donald Trump, turned himself in to authorities and pleaded not guilty to charges of money laundering and conspiracy on Thursday.
Bannon has been accused of laundering contributions to a fundraiser to build a wall on the southern U.S. border, according to Fox News. He was charged with six counts of money laundering in the second degree, scheme to defraud in the first degree, and conspiracy in the fourth and fifth degrees.
After voluntarily surrendering himself to New York law enforcement, Bannon was perp-walked and paraded through the halls of a Manhattan courthouse. He used the moment to send a message.
“For every conservative in America, this is what happens in the last days of a dying regime. They will never shut me up. They’ll have to kill me first,” Bannon said as he was escorted past members of the media.

An interesting new article came out from NEJM:
It discusses how effective was the Pfizer Covid vaccine among children. It is a large study that included 273,157 vaccinated children. What is extremely interesting is that they tracked, separately, four groups of children:
- Unvaccinated children who did not have Covid (no immunity — naive comparison group for VE)
- Unvaccinated children who had Covid (natural immunity)
- Children who had Covid prior to vaccination (unset natural immunity)
- Vaccinated children who never had Covid
The NEJM piece shows that children who had Covid and were subsequently vaccinated, were much more likely to get reinfected than their peers who also had Covid, and were NOT vaccinated.

This Global News Toronto anchor, Kimberley Fowler, tearfully reports the sudden death of Matthew Rodrigopulle, a young colleague (she doesn’t say how old he was) who obviously died before his time, and—as usual, and crucially—for no apparent reason: She doesn’t say what he died of, nor has his family: “Matthew’s cause of death has not been officially released by his family at the time of this publication,” reports SNBC13. (Another outlet claims that Rodrigopulle “died suddenly of natural causes.”)

This news has ricocheted around the Internet since yesterday—due not so much to Rodrigopulle’s sudden death per se as to the anchor’s discomposure in announcing it. In other words, the “story” here is not his death, but her grief over it: a powerful diversion from the awful truth. Since Global News Toronto doesn’t want to know what killed that member of their “family,” and doesn’t want its viewers even wondering about it, much less asking for a bit more information, that showy grief is an effective way at once to “honor Rodrigopulle’s memory,” and yet discourage any effort to discover why he died, since they’re all just too broken up to think about it, so anyone who bothers them about it has no heart.

The U.S. Can’t Solve Europe’s Energy Crisis
The EU’s energy ministers will meet on Friday to discuss emergency measures to protect consumers and businesses from exorbitant gas and electricity prices. Now, it is clear that the U.S. can’t solve Europe’s energy crisis.
Europe is approaching the most perilous territory yet in its quest to disassociate itself off Russian energy — and the United States can only offer limited assistance, at least for the time being.
Why it matters: The West’s reaction to Russia’s attacks of Ukraine has shook the global energy commerce at a scale and speed unobserved in decades.
- The implications for Europe are at an all-time high. Consumer prices are rising, and Europe’s energy-hungry industries are already struggling and reducing output.
Driving the news: President Biden made a pledge that the United States would send more natural gas to the European Union in an effort to extricate Western allies off Russian supplies.
- And it has, however the two areas encounter physical restrictions that limit how much near-term supply can continue to grow.
- In order to liquefy natural gas, which is required to ship gas abroad, the U.S. is essentially using all of its capacity, and Europe has insufficient facilities to actually accept the imports.

Legal proceedings against the 9/11 conspirators have been bogged down for years
U.S. military prosecutors are reportedly negotiating potential plea deals with 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other conspirators imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay.
The plea deals may allow the five dependents to escape a potential death penalty, according to CBS. Mohammed is widely credited with being the architect of the 9/11 terror attacks. The other four defendants are Ramzi Binalshibh, Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi, Walid bin Attash and Ammar al-Baluchi.
Attorneys for the defendants reportedly say they would be willing to enter a guilty plea in exchange for taking the death penalty off the table, as well as for getting treatment for alleged torture they experienced while in CIA custody.
The CIA held each of the five men for interrogation prior to their arrival in Guantanamo in 2006. Critics argue the CIA’s methods amounted to illegal torture.

Lawmakers Says Biden Admin May Be Directly Funding Chinese Genocide By Casey Harper
Congressional Republicans want to know if the federal government is purchasing solar panels from China that were built using slave labor.
Lawmakers sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general raising the alarm about the issue, which has come increasingly into the spotlight as the Biden administration pushes the U.S. toward renewable energy sources, a market that China dominates.
U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs, R-Ohio, and other Republicans on the House Oversight Committee raised questions about China’s notorious human rights violations and why U.S. taxpayers would support unethical practices and enrich one of America’s greatest rivals.
“If we are not vigilant in our efforts to ensure that no solar panels or components made with slave labor are being purchased with federal dollars from FEMA or other U.S. agencies and used on similar solar projects, it is possible the United States could be directly funding the genocide and abuse occurring in China’s Xinjiang region,” the letter said.
The letter, addressed to IG Joseph Cuffari, says that almost 85 percent of the world’s solar components are made in China.

A friend of mine wrote this to remind us of what really happened on September 11, 2001 – with a focus on the 4th plane:
EDWIN JUDE: “Today we remember 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. September 11, 2001 was a dark day in America’s history. Four planes were hijacked that day by Al-Qaeda terrorists.
[Ed.: This article by Peg’s friend is an outline of what happened on 9-11. I was ‘Live’ that day, doing my normal Daily Shmutz work at the now defunct ‘JewishIndy.com’. (Yes, I’ve been doing this for 21 years!) I paid close attention to every bit of information I could get my hands on, following the attack. Most of this information has been scrubbed by now.
It was an inaccuracy of Peg’s friend to report: “The plane (Flight 93) crashed just outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania, at 10:03:11, 125 miles (200 km) from Washington, D.C. All aboard died.” However, there were no body parts, no blood, or bodies found. They only found a hole in the ground. They said that the plane parts were “scattered” over several miles before the hole in the ground! So what happened to the bodies? Turns out that the same number of people that were on Flight 93 appeared at an airport in Cleveland and were shuttled to a hanger the morning of the crash. None of them were ever heard from again. (Try to research THAT in a modern day search engine. It used to be there, but no longer.)
Getting to Peg’s larger question: “Why did the CIA & the FBI & the US intelligence community let 9/11 happen?” But, that is not the real question at all!
The answer is: They didn’t “let it happen“! They orchestrated the entire attack and killed 3,000 of their fellow citizens!
But why did they do it? The result of their attack on 9-11 was that they increased their own control over us, exponentially, while proving to themselves that they could pull it off, and get away with it. They pulled it off again today with their bioweapon ‘vaccine’, exterminating 10,000 of us per day globally (more than 3 times 9-11, every single day,) and are getting away with it again. We should deduce that they will persist, until we are thoroughly exterminated.

At fifteen seconds after 9:41 a.m., on September 11, 2001, a photographer named Richard Drew took a picture of a man falling through the sky—falling through time as well as through space. People on the ground were gasping because people in the building were jumping.
He started shooting pictures through a 200mm lens. He was standing between a cop and an emergency technician, and each time one of them cried, “There goes another,” his camera found a falling body and followed it down for a nine- or twelve-shot sequence.

This closing was a long time coming, but it was really no surprise at all. The erasure of 9/11 began years ago. This was a tribute museum to what, exactly? It celebrated the heroism of those who came to help on that day, but it glaringly could not and would not honestly explain what exactly happened and why. But those who struck us on 9/11 will strike again, and no one is prepared for that.
