Here We Go: CDC Says It’s Monitoring a New COVID Variant Known as “XBB” – Deemed ‘Most Vaccine Resistant Strain Ever’ By Jim Hoft
On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that it is monitoring a new COVID-19 variant known as “XBB,” which is responsible for an estimated 3.1% of all new infections in the United States, according to Yahoo News.
Back in October, health officials in the US said they were tracking a new Covid strain that is being called the “most vaccine-resistant ever” after causing a surge in cases in Singapore.
The recent outbreak of infections in Singapore has been traced to XBB, a “recombinant” of the Omicron subvariants BA.2.10.1 and BA.2.75.
“Preliminary research suggests the Omicron subvariant XBB might carry a higher infection risk and be more resistant to neutralizing antibodies from booster vaccine doses and antibody drugs, but more studies are needed, according to Verywell Health.

On October 2, William I. Robinson, Distinguished Professor of Sociology at UC Santa Barbara, sent a detailed letter to UCSB administrators, protesting their booster mandate for all students, faculty and staff.
Having got no reply, Prof. Robinson posted his letter on NoCollegeMandates, and also sent it to some colleagues on his campus. That led to a larger group of faculty within the UC system to attempt to reach a wider readership, since that mandate is in force at all the UC schools; and, since it affects not just the faculty (and staff) but all the students, too, they contacted the editors of UC’s nine student papers, to see if they might want to run the letter. Certain of those editors were most receptive, asking only for a shorter version of the letter Robinson had written; and so the signatories cut it to 900 words, and sent that in.
But now the students wouldn’t run it—a change of heart induced (no doubt) by pressure from on high, where the interests of Big Pharma, and its all-powerful affiliates, matter far more than the welfare of the students, faculty and staff who keep those schools afloat as schools.
Here, then. is the letter that UC’s administrators wouldn’t answer, and that those student editors (a different breed from those who flourished in the days of the Berkeley Free Speech Movement) decided not to run.

David Friedman, who served as U.S. ambassador to Israel under the Trump administration, called out his former boss for socializing with antisemitic rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, aka Ye, and white supremacist commentator Nick Fuentes.
“According to a source, far-right extremist Nick Fuentes was spotted with Kanye West at Mar-a-Lago. West tweeted last night he met with Trump at the club. West and Fuentes were also seen together at Miami airport,” Politico reporter Meredith McGraw wrote on Twitter.
West sparked outrage last month with a now-deleted tweet saying that he was going to go “death con 3” on Jewish people. Rather than apologizing, he doubled down on his antisemitic statements.
Fuentes, who was labeled a white supremacist by the U.S. Justice Department, has questioned the Holocaust on several occasions and mocked it as well, once comparing the slaughter of Jews in gas chambers to “cookies baking in an oven.”
Friedman, among others, condemned the meeting.
“To my friend Donald Trump, you are better than this. Even a social visit from an antisemite like Kanye West and human scum like Nick Fuentes is unacceptable. I urge you to throw those bums out, disavow them and relegate them to the dustbin of history where they belong,” he tweeted on Friday.
“I condemned Barak Obama associating with Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright. This is no different. Antisemites deserve no quarter among American leaders, right or left,” Friedman added.

In one meeting, Deon Jackson went from South Carolina’s Berkeley County school superintendent to unemployed.

On Wednesday, the Biden regime banned the world’s largest sugar producer from exporting its product to the United States due to allegations that it was produced using forced labor.
“Effective November 23, 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel at all U.S. ports of entry will detain raw sugar and sugar-based products produced in the Dominican Republic by Central Romana Corporation Limited (Central Romana),” US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a statement.
Although Central Romana is headquartered in the Dominican Republic, it is owned by the Fanjul family, who are influential sugar barons based in West Palm Beach, Florida, according to UPI.
Due to information suggesting that forced labor is being used by Central Romana, CBP issued a Withhold Release Order (WRO).
According to CBP, they have identified five of the International Labour Organization’s 11 indicators of forced labor during its investigation: abuse of vulnerability, isolation, withholding of wages, abusive working and living conditions, and excessive overtime.
“This Withhold Release Order demonstrates CBP’s commitment to protect human rights and international labor standards and to promote a fair and competitive global marketplace,” said CBP Acting Commissioner Troy Miller. “The agency will continue to set a high global standard by aggressively investigating allegations of forced labor in U.S. supply chains and keeping tainted merchandise out of the United States.”
“CBP continues to set the international standard for ensuring that goods made with forced labor do not enter U.S. commerce,” said AnnMarie R. Highsmith, Executive Assistant Commissioner, CBP Office of Trade. “Manufacturers like Central Romana, who fail to abide by our laws, will face consequences as we root out these inhumane practices from U.S. supply chains.”

I am well aware of the difficulties you have had to face in order to remain consistent with your principles, and I hope that the damage you have suffered can be adequately repaired by those who have discriminated against you, depriving you of work and salary and labeling you as dangerous no-vaxxers.
