House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is being mocked on social media for wishing Americans a “happy shwanza,” seemingly botching the pronunciation of Kwanzaa, a seven-day holiday after Christmas to celebrate African American culture.

“I yield back the balance of my time and wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe New Year. Happy holidays, merry Christmas, happy Shwanza, happy Hanukkah. Whatever it is you celebrate, be safe,” Pelosi, a California Democrat, said Friday at the end of her remarks urging her colleagues to vote for the $1.7 trillion spending bill, which ultimately passed.

Hundreds of Americans have had their homes raided by the FBI for standing outside the US Capitol or walking inside the US Capitol on January 6.

Dozens of men and women have been imprisoned for nearly two years now without trial. This is a clear violation of the US Constitution.

As of August, the FBI was still looking for over 350 individuals to arrest for taking part in the protests that day.

Several federal operatives are walking free today after they were caught on camera committing violence or urging Americans to enter the US Capitol that day.

DISGRACEFUL: Biden Regime Delays Paychecks to National Guard Members for Christmas After Announcing Another $45 Billion Giveaway to Ukraine   By Jim Hoft

Earlier this week, Senate Republicans, under the leadership of Mitch McConnell, came to an agreement with Democrats on a $1.7 trillion spending bill to avoid a government shutdown.

The bill gives another $44.9 billion to Ukraine — where it disappears into the ether.

According to Roll Call, “The package includes $858 billion in defense spending, a nearly 10 percent increase over the previous fiscal year, and $787 billion in nondefense spending, close to an 8 percent increase. It also would provide roughly $85 billion in supplemental funding for Ukraine and disaster relief.”

But despite the price tag, the bill does not secure the open US border with Mexico.

And the bill does little to help working Americans or their families.

National Guard members were informed this week that their check will not come in until after Christmas.

“One of my buddies who I worked with at the company I was at, his game plan was always to join The Bureau,” Chan revealed in an interview. “And he got in and he’s calling me from the FBI academy in Quantico, which you were able to visit with me. Maybe we’ll talk about that later. But he said, ‘Elvis,’ he’s calling me on the phone, he’s like, ‘you would love this. We’re shooting guns. We’re kicking down doors. I’m learning about the constitution. This is awesome.’”

Chan was able to influence Twitter so well because he had come out of the tech industry.

Judge throws out parents’ lawsuit over schools hiding underage children’s gender transitions

Policy fails to meet constitutional conscience standard, judge claims

A Massachusetts judge this week threw out a parental lawsuit against a school district’s policy of hiding the gender transitions of two underage children, claiming the rule—while flawed—did not rise to the level of a necessary constitutional standard.

U.S. District Court Judge Mark Mastroianni professed himself “apprehensive” about the reported transgender policies of Ludlow County Schools, but that the suit brought by two parents against the district regarding those policies failed to meet a longstanding “shock-the-conscience” constitutional test.

The parents claimed in the suit that school officials hid the intended gender “transitions” of their respective children, ages 11 and 12 at the time. The students had reportedly asked to be identified by new names and pronouns while in school and to have these practices kept from their parents.

Anxiety and trepidation were instigated to justify the exploitation of the public. Because of hidden agendas, the origin of the virus was obscured. With statistics being manipulated, little is known about the actual virulence of a pathogen that has been blamed for rampant suffering.

Pharmaceutical giants quickly stepped in and opportunistically claimed they would provide all that was needed to eliminate the spread and dangers of a killer virus. To entrench their marketing position, they relied on and reiterated the baseless, widely held conventional wisdom that modern science and bio-medicine hold the only salvation to mitigate a human health disaster.

In lockstep, Big Pharma’s proxies promoted a false narrative exaggerating the risk of agonizing sickness and death. Allied forces in politics and corporate news insisted that mandates and lockdowns were absolutely necessary until a new vaccine was concocted and distributed.

Less incendiary reports predicted there was an emerging powerful strain of the flu, and that it might be dangerous to the elderly or those with pre-existing illnesses. In response to this manageable global health crisis, the public was deceived into thinking they were in great jeopardy and that the only effective solution was the rapid development of untested biotechnology.

Alarmingly, genuinely helpful preventive measures were scorned and reliable remedies were deemed useless and made scarce.

Those in power discharged illogical, hostile, and destructive edicts that will reverberate for generations. Even as details of the failures are revealed, those responsible dismiss the damaging repercussions of their ineffective countermeasures.

The COVID-19 debacle has exposed the degree to which malevolent tactics lead to instability and harm. Nowhere is this effect more intense than with children; their experience over the last few years provides a window into the dysfunctional state of humanity.

I almost got a doc on Twitter who was defending the narrative to agree to a debate. But he backed down because he thinks I’m a grifter. His arguments are nonsensical.

Executive summary

When I try to debate people on the science so we can expose the truth, they will often say that they don’t want to give me “a platform” to spread my views. Or they will say that “science isn’t settled by debates.”

After I successfully counter both of those arguments, then the reason changes to “I see what you are doing and don’t want any part of it” insinuating I’m a grifter.

Well, what I am doing is to find the truth and expose it. I am open to being challenged on my views. But nobody wants to challenge me.

They say misinformation is a problem, but none of them will lift a finger to correct the misinformation spreaders. Censorship and the lack of interest in settling who is telling the truth is the real problem here.

Not content with provoking Russia into invading Ukraine, the West, with the United States and the United Kingdom as the biggest instigators, is stirring the pot in Serbia and encouraging Kosovo to open a new front in hopes of diverting Moscow from completing its Special Military Operation in Ukraine. This is not the first time that the Balkans plays a bit role in lighting the fuse that detonates a conflagration in Europe. When Gavrilo Princip assassinated the Archduke of Austria-Hungary on June 28, 1914, it sparked the ensuing “World War” pitting England, France and Russia against Germany, Italy and Austria-Hungary.

History does not repeat exactly. The current set-up pits Russia against most of Europe (except Serbia and Hungary) and the United States. If the tensions along the border of Serbia and Kosovo erupt into a shooting war, it will reinforce Moscow’s belief that the West is hell bent on destroying Russia and will make negotiations for peace impossible.

Rather than accept the results, they began a campaign to undermine Trump’s presidency with the use of lies, defamation, illegal prosecutions and hoaxes. They were aided and abetted in this by the Main Stream Media, Social Media Giants, Hollywood, cancel culture and a fake pandemic.

They also created their own brown shirts and black shirts, namely Antifa and Black Lives Matter,  like Hitler and Mussolini did, in order to have a lawless para-military force to wreak havoc, fear and despair. They chose not to prosecute members of these organizations who committed crimes and destruction. On the other hand, they attacked MAGA supporters as being insurrectionists and terrorists.

Then the ultimate corruption was their destruction of the election system, with the introduction of  fake ballots and fake ballot counting, the use of manipulative machines and Zukerberg money. I even believe they killed Seth Rich and perhaps others, to further their ends.

Finally, Ukraine is rated as the most corrupt country in Europe.  Clinton and Biden took advantage of that corruption to add to their coffers.

(Dec. 25, 2022) — In the preamble of the U.S. Constitution, our Founding Fathers declared that the brilliant centerpiece of our government was created by “We the People of the United States.” It was clearly not, “We the Politicians” or “We the Bureaucrats.”

Unfortunately, our federal government has utterly abandoned “We the People.” It was never more apparent than in the disgusting spectacle of the recently passed $1.7 trillion monstrosity known as the omnibus spending bill.

While the bill allocates  in non-defense spending, there is  funding for the recruitment of more Border Patrol agents. Despite an historic invasion of migrants pouring across our southern border, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) received no spending increase “to account for inflation” in the bill. It also placed  on ICE in their working relationship with local and state law enforcement agencies.

As our politicians showed disdain for our border security, the legislation provides  for the border security of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia and Oman. Once again, the needs of citizens in other countries were placed ahead of the protection of the American people.

The bill handsomely funded a plethora of progressive pipe dreams. For example, it included  for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which just received  in the Inflation Reduction Act. It also provided  for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),  for “climate and environmental programs,” and  for “renewable energy programs.”

I was chatting to the log man as we unloaded chunks of dried beech into my driveway from his trailer. Usually he brings me ash, but ash is becoming harder to find now that ash dieback disease, imported into Ireland from Europe, is killing many of the nation’s trees. Our little home plantation, laid down five or six years ago, is not yet mature enough to keep us going for the whole winter, and we need help to make up the shortfall. So, beech it is this year.

“Not easy to get it now though,” he said to me, as we threw the logs into the growing pile. “And there’s a lot of demand this year. Everyone’s worried about the winter.” Given the likely lack of Russian gas across Europe, people are getting nervous and stockpiling heating fuel before autumn. We’ve been stocking up on winter logs this way for years. But the log man knows that his days of delivering little loads of cut timber to households like ours are probably numbered.

Francis Fukuyama claimed, dubiously, that we are witnessing the end of history, with the universalization of liberal democracy as the final form of human government.  Yet we live in a world of worrisome pendulum shifts.  Republican congressional leaders disprove Fukuyama’s claim as they celebrate their stunning betrayal of the American people by supporting the passage of the $1.7-trillion McConnell-Schumer omnibus bill.  Rather than protect America’s southern border and comply with Congress’s constitutional duty, this bill moves the country farther to the left by explicitly funding a “woke” identity group supporting LGBT indoctrination in elementary schools, abolishing ICE, and defunding the police.  At the same time, this bill hands more power to a federal government dedicated to the preposterous claim that America is systemically racist.

This explosive proposition is aided and abetted by several additional contentions.  Dangerous contentions include claims that enforcing the United States Constitution fairly and equally, administering laws without focusing on visual identity, and advancing merit rather than identity-based preferences are forms of unconscious racism.  Such claims flourish because our overlords ignore the observation that truth is no defense against fools determined to believe lies.

Elites’ hysterical claims verify René Girard’s observation that concern for victims overwhelms modern culture and signals a genuine exhaustion of all other sources of authority.  Elites’ vulgar claims regarding race also ignore evidence showing that Asian-American women surpass white men in weekly earnings, as well as data showing that Syrian-Americans, Korean-Americans, and Filipino-Americans had significantly higher median household incomes than whites.  They also have higher test scores, lower incarceration rates, and longer life expectancies.  Indeed, African-born black women had higher earnings than U.S.-born white women.

Despite such evidence, Critical Race proponent Ibram X. Kendi contends that the solution to past discrimination is state-sponsored present discrimination and the solution to current discrimination is future government-mandated discrimination favoring those classified as society’s victims.  Hence, Kendi and proponents of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) reject Chief Justice Roberts’s perceptive claim that the way to stop discriminating based on race “is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.”

Pandemic’s end: Israel to downgrade Covid to flu status

Those with the virus will no longer need to enter isolation, and responsibility for testing will be transferred from the IDF to the civilian health services.

(December 28, 2022 / JNS) Israel is set to declare the Coronavirus pandemic over, according to Hebrew media reports.

As of Jan. 18, the country’s civilian health system will assume responsibility for conducting Covid tests in place of the Israel Defense Forces’ Home Front Command.

Then, on Jan. 31, SARS-CoV-2 will be categorized as an influenza-like virus, according to Kan News. The pandemic control center will be closed, and Covid patients will no longer need to be isolated.

Professor Cyrille Cohen, a member of the Health Ministry’s advisory council for clinical Covid vaccine trials,  told i24NEWS that the goal was to get the virus to an “endemic” stage, where it spreads at a typical or expected rate.

Nursing Home Workers Not Accepting Boosters  Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH™

Prior Institutional Outbreaks, Worker to Patient Transmission, Senior Mortality all not Enough to Convince Administration and Staff–What is Holding them Back?

When was the last time you have seen a news clip on COVID-19 and nursing home patients? How about one of the COVID-19 vaccinations taken by a nursing home worker? I cannot remember one in a few years now. The vaccine promotion campaign has been relentlessly oriented on those with negligible theoretical benefit—children and students. Many of you recall from our book Courage to Face COVID-19 the harrowing story of my father Thomas L. McCullough, who in 2020 was in a nursing facility flat on his back with a pelvic fracture and a clear case of COVID-19 transmission from a nursing home worker. He was treated with a primordial version of The McCullough Protocol and survived. He wisely declined COVID-19 vaccination once they became available in December of 2020. In his facility and around the nation > 90% of nursing home workers initially took the COVID-19 vaccine. However, in late 2022, the rate of booster acceptance is at 10%.

Given all the prior history of nosocomial spread and the mortality in nursing homes, I wonder what this abysmal uptake for boosters could be signaling. Here are some possibilities: 1) nursing home staff have witnessed COVID-19 vaccine induced deaths and serious complications, 2) most workers have had COVID-19 before and or after vaccination and felt it worthless, 3) staff and administration are not convinced on the regulatory approval of bivalent vaccines with no human testing, 4) administration which is ubiquitously stressed with staffing shortages has quietly dropped COVID-19 vaccination to keep the workforce intact and avoid the 25% rate of incapacitation/unable to work for a few days as reported in the CDC V-Safe data. Whatever the drivers, the booster rate of nursing home workers is the most telling statistic of the failed COVID-19 vaccination campaign. If this group cannot or will not take the shots, then no one should have to take one under any circumstance and the entire line of products can be pulled off the market as I stated in the US Senate on December 7, 2022.

She’s extremely familiar with the industry and patient age, tumor size, and malignancy grade are all within her field of expertise and have had a natural rhythm throughout her career. That natural rhythm came to a halt in 2021 once the vaccine rollout began.

Doctors for Covid Ethics posted an interview with her where she shared her concerns about unusual features that have been showing up in samples from the past year.

Doctors For Patients UK (DFPUK) was started in September 2022 by a group of doctors “who wanted to create a platform and safe space for clinicians to discuss current issues in healthcare and medicine.”

“Our group was borne out of a shared concern that core principles of medical ethics are being disregarded, such as the oath to “First do no harm”, respect for individual bodily autonomy, and the need to obtain full and informed consent for all medical interventions,” an entry to its website read.

“Medicine is a synthesis of art and science, seeking to cure or alleviate human suffering caused by poor health and disease and underpinned by important ethical principles. Doctors throughout history have been instructed to uphold the Hippocratic Oath to ‘Primum non nocere’ (First do no harm), which should dictate our every action and intervention. Medicine practiced without strict adherence to this and other ethical principles, is not safe for patients, is open to abuse and can cause immense harm,” it added.

On Wednesday, the DFPUK released a press release urging the UK government to investigate the mRNA Covid vaccine.

Before the COVID-19 era, for ages in medicine it has been said:  “Syphilis is often referred to as “the great masquerader,” as it may present with a wide array of clinical symptoms and may mimic a variety of other diseases making diagnosis challenging.”  There is no doubt that COVID-19 vaccine injury syndromes will far eclipse syphilis, sarcoidosis, amyloidosis, or any other systemic disorder and will assume the thrown of “the great masquerader”.   In a recent issue of Current Neurology and Neuroscience Reports, Chatterjee and Chakravarty, report on the wide range of central nervous system and peripheral nervous system syndromes that occur after COVID-19 vaccination.[i]

Because the vaccines contain lipid nanoparticles loaded with genetic material that code for the damaging Spike protein, each patient faces a Russian Roulette of whether or not the nervous system will be hemodynamically showered with the damaging vaccine particles.  As an example of how distorted authors and editors have become over papers on COVID-19 vaccination, in the abstract of the authors state that COVID-19 vaccination remains the ”only weapon” we have against the illness.  Complete ignorance of the entire field of early treatment of SARS-CoV-2 will be forever to their chagrin upon later reflection.  More worrisome, the authors state that prior neurologic disease is not a reason withhold vaccination.   I can tell you as senior and experienced academic physician, that indeed the authors and the editors who accepted this paper are demonstrating poor medical judgement.  Good physicians would never have a patient with neurologic disease, for example Guillain-Barre Syndrome or multiple sclerosis, and then administer a novel genetic biological product known to cause further neurologic damage and risk worsened disability and death.  Authors and historians will revisit these words and well up remorse and sadness for patients who have suffered under this profound lapse of medical judgement. [Emphasis added]  If you have a neurologic disorder shown in the figure that is new or worsened after COVID-19 vaccination, pay a visit to your doctor, and point it out.   Tell them it wasn’t worth it.  That for you the risks of the vaccine did not outweigh the failed theoretical benefits for an easily treatable upper respiratory illness.

None Of The 65,000 Patients Treated With Ayurveda Died Of COVID

At the 9th World Ayurveda Congress and Expo 2022, a top official of the Union Ministry of Ayush said that none of the 65,000 patients treated with Ayurveda died of COVID.

According to a top official of the Union Ministry of Ayush, just 300 of the approximately 65,000 COVID-19 patients who used Ayurvedic formulations required hospitalisation, and none of them died as a result of the pandemic. The 9th World Ayurveda Congress and Expo 2022, which is currently taking place in Panaji, featured a session on the “National Ayush Research Consortium,” where Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ayush Ministry, was addressing.

He said that the results were based on research done by his ministry, Seva Bharathi, the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), and other universities on a total of a lakh COVID-19 patients.

“Out of these patients, 65,000 people were in home isolation, and only 300 of them required hospitalisation. This is less than half per cent whereas the hospitalisation rate at the time was 7-10 per cent,” he said.

The Brazilian Supreme Court has issued arrest warrants for opposition figures for “undemocratic acts”, including journalist Oswaldo Eustáquio and comedian Bismark Fugazza. They are in hiding or on the run.

Corrupt pro-Lula Chief Justice Alexandre de Moraes continues to crack down on the pro-Bolsonaro opposition ahead of the scheduled communist takeover Jan. 1. Indigenous Chief Serere Xavante, Pastor Fabiano Oliveira and federal deputies Carlos Von and Capitão Assumção (Gateway reported) have been arrested on charges of “undemocratic acts.”

Eustáquio and Fugazza filed charges against de Moraes together with Fugazza’s fellow comedian Paulo Victor Souza in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. Souza has not been charged yet.

Eustáquio and Fugazza are now in hiding or on the run. They were seen at the protests outside the Presidential Alvorada Palace in Brasilía recently, where the Federal Police have been looking for them. They posted a video end of of last week from a single-engine private plane in flight, saying they are on “the mission of their lives”.

Dozens of indios broke through barriers around the Supreme Court building in Brasilía Dec. 25 to demand the release of tribal leader José Acácio Serere Xavante, who was arrested Monday, Dec. 12 for the crime of protesting, and held without charges (Gateway reported).

The protesting indios told police they were there to protest the arrest of Chief Serere. SWAT teams and Federal Police were deployed. After about two hours, the indigenous protestors left the area outside the Supreme Court, but remained in the square outside, protesting.

After Lula da Silva said on Dec. 22 that he had defeated Bolsonaro, he must now “defeat Bolsonarism in the streets; that is our promise,” Dino used his Twitter account on Sunday, Dec. 25, to add further fuel to the fire.

He attacked the people camping in front of the Army barracks in protest against the election of Lula da Silva and to speak against the rules edited by the government of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) that facilitated the acquisition of weapons.

(Lula da Silva says he defeated Bolsonaro, and now he will have to “defeat Bolsonarism in the streets. This is our promise.” )

“The serious events of yesterday [Dec. 24] in Brasilia prove that such ‘patriotic’ camps have become incubators of terrorists. Measures are being taken and will be expanded, with every speed possible,” he wrote in his account.

Flávio Dino was referring to an operation by the Civil Police of the Federal District that arrested on Saturday, a businessman from Pará suspected of having placed a dynamite banana in a fuel truck near the International Airport of Brasilia.

According to the Federal Police, the man had ties to the protesters’ camp in Brasilia and apparently confessed to the crime.

However, many believe this bomb was planted [false flag] to blame the protesters and justify a brutal crackdown on the protesters.

A judge in Arizona failed to rule against massive, widespread voter fraud in the state on Saturday. Democrat Katie Hobbs will continue to be the Governor-elect while Republican Kari Lake is left with filing an appeal.

On Saturday, an Arizona judge dismissed the most well-known case contesting the results of the midterm elections by ruling against Kari Lake in her challenge to Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs’ (D) victory. After a two-day trial, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson concluded that Lake had not established that election officials’ willful misconduct was sufficient to alter the outcome of the race.

Lake, who fell short of Hobbs by around 17,000 votes, said Maricopa County election officials tampered with the results on Election Day by breaking chain of custody rules and causing printer issues. Lake pleaded with the judge to proclaim her the legitimate victor or call for a fresh ballot in Maricopa County. Hobbs will take office on January 2.

This is a major blow against voter integrity across the country. Some have said Arizona would either be the first domino to fall against voter fraud, or it would reinforce the ironclad grip that evil players have on our election process.

Deputy Colonel Tadeu of the Bolsonaro-allied Liberal Party has accused the Judiciary of “abuse of power”, as Jornal da Cidade reports: “The situation is getting unbearable. The time will come when the Armed Forces have to act, If Brazil starts to become a dictatorship, I believe the Army will act without anyone asking”, Tadeu told JCO TV. “We will not need to ask them to intervene.”

Military movements continue in Brazil.  Speaking to Steve Bannon, Matt Tyrmand said that “The coup is on Lula’s side. Justice Barroso said, ‘We don’t win elections, we take them. These are Communists.”

By law, Bolsonaro should have left the Presidential Palace 15 days before powers is handed over to Lula on Jan. 1. This did not happen. The Army, Navy, and Air Force Commanders Lula wants to replace have also remained in position. Protests continue all over Brazil. The (pro-Lula) Supreme Court has decided to buy its own APCs. The Armed Forces have begun exercises all over Brazil and signed a national mobilization order. The Minister of Defense called up the reserves and called for volunteers to join the reserves. Bolsonaro relocated 300 staffers to the Presidency. Bolsonaro nominated 12 new diplomats, which the Senate approved. Bolsonaro transferred many generals and promoted others, strengthening his support. Bolsonaro authorized huge quantities of gasoline to be bought to fuel tanks and APCs. The Ministry of Defence expropriated areas reserved for nuclear energy. The Ministry of Defence signed up companies for the so-called Estado de Mobilization de guerra (mobilization state war). The Parliament has gone on holiday, so there will not be interference from the Senate. Lula only has a few days to make deals with the party. The governor of Rio Grande do Sul broke off his relationship with Lula. What will happen next?

Fox News host Sean Hannity has testified under oath that he did not believe “for one second” that the 2020 election was fraudulent.

Hannity reportedly testified in a deposition on Wednesday concerning Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News.

“I did not believe it for one second,” Hannity said of claims that the election was rigged or stolen.

Stephen Shackelford, Jr., an attorney for Dominion, told the New York Times that many Fox News stars have said that they do not believe that the election was stolen.

“Many of the highest-ranking Fox people have admitted under oath that they never believed the Dominion lies,” Shackelford said, according to the Times report.

Shackelford said that even Tucker Carlson has said that he didn’t believe the election was stolen.

(Natural News) A legal expert has slammed an Arizona court’s decision to toss out a lawsuit challenging the manner in which the November election was conducted in the state, while going on to praise a challenge filed by GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.

Tom Renz, an Ohio-based attorney and civic commentator, blasted the Arizona court’s decision to toss out a suit filed by Mark Finchem, a Republican who ran for Arizona secretary of state, describing the reasons for the dismissal as absurd, especially in the face of what he believes is obvious corruption.

“What I did not expect to find was corruption on a level that seemed to verify the outrage many people expressed after 2020. If the corruption of 2020 was as bad as the 2022 Arizona election people should have been outraged. Further, if the courts did anything similar to what was done with the Finchem dismissal it is not a surprise that people were claiming that there are issues with the courts,” Renz noted in his assessment of the court’s decision.

“As for the case, the dismissal was, or should have been, an absolute embarrassment for this judge to publish and frankly ought to be appealed to prevent a miscarriage of justice. I would need to write a book to cover all the mistakes in this ruling,” he noted further.

Renz said that in his interpretation of the judge’s ruling, the court appears to suggest that “Finchem’s team must prove fraud in their pleadings to move past a motion to dismiss,” which he called “absolutely absurd,” citing Arizona’s own Rules of Civil Procedure. What’s more, he notes that the court’s dismissal relied on old Arizona statutes that were rendered moot in 2020 when the state legislature passed several election reform measures.

A startup says it’s begun releasing particles into the atmosphere, in an effort to tweak the climate  By James Temple   MIT Technology Review   December 24, 2022

  Make Sunsets is already attempting to earn revenue for geoengineering, a move likely to provoke widespread criticism.

A startup claims it has launched weather balloons that may have released reflective sulfur particles in the stratosphere, potentially crossing a controversial barrier in the field of solar geoengineering.

Geoengineering refers to deliberate efforts to manipulate the climate by reflecting more sunlight back into space, mimicking a natural process that occurs in the aftermath of large volcanic eruptions. In theory, spraying sulfur and similar particles in sufficient quantities could potentially ease global warming.

It’s not technically difficult to release such compounds into the stratosphere. But scientists have mostly (though not entirely) refrained from carrying out even small-scale outdoor experiments. And it’s not clear that any have yet injected materials into that specific layer of the atmosphere in the context of geoengineering-related research.

That’s in part because it’s highly controversial. Little is known about the real-world effect of such deliberate interventions at large scales, but they could have dangerous side effects. The impacts could also be worse in some regions than others, which could provoke geopolitical conflicts.

Some researchers who have long studied the technology are deeply troubled that the company, Make Sunsets, appears to have moved forward with launches from a site in Mexico without any public engagement or scientific scrutiny. It’s already attempting to sell “cooling credits” for future balloon flights that could carry larger payloads.

Several researchers MIT Technology Review spoke with condemned the effort to commercialize geoengineering at this early stage. Some potential investors and customers who have reviewed the company’s proposals say that it’s not a serious scientific effort or a credible business but more of an attention grab designed to stir up controversy in the field.

Luke Iseman, the cofounder and CEO of Make Sunsets, acknowledges that the effort is part entrepreneurial and part provocation, an act of geoengineering activism.

He hopes that by moving ahead in the controversial space, the startup will help drive the public debate and push forward a scientific field that has faced great difficulty carrying out small-scale field experiments amid criticism.

“We joke slash not joke that this is partly a company and partly a cult,” he says.

Iseman, previously a director of hardware at Y Combinator, says he expects to be pilloried by both geoengineering critics and researchers in the field for taking such a step, and he recognizes that “making me look like the Bond villain is going to be helpful to certain groups.” But he says climate change is such a grave threat, and the world has moved so slowly to address the underlying problem, that more radical interventions are now required.

“It’s morally wrong, in my opinion, for us not to be doing this,” he says. What’s important is “to do this as quickly and safely as we can.”

What Could Go Wrong? Startup Releases Particles into The Atmosphere to Stop “Climate Change”   By Cullen Linebarger

The global warming hysteria has now reached such absurd heights that a startup company will now attempt to control the weather via solar geoengineering. Unsurprisingly, such a move could have deadly unintended consequences if widely adopted.

MIT Technology Review reported Saturday that a company called Make Sunsets has successfully launched weather balloons from Mexico that may have released sulfur particles into the atmosphere. Luke Iseman, the co-founder and CEO, claims that because climate change presents such an imminent threat, bizarre interventions like theirs are necessary:

“It’s morally wrong, in my opinion, for us not to be doing this,” said Iseman. “What’s important is to do this as quickly and safely as we can.”

“Owners of natural gas pipelines have reported that equipment problems caused by the cold weather and the heavy demand for natural gas are challenging their ability to provide adequate amounts of gas throughout the Northeast,” the utility company continued.

Add Con Edison to the growing list of utilities and grid operators that warned about grid stress issues due to surging heating demand.

Over 70% of Palestinians support terror groups, according to the latest poll conducted by a Palestinian research organization.

Seventy-two percent of the Palestinian public supports the activities of terrorist groups such as Lions’ Den, according to the latest poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR).

The poll found that 79% oppose the surrender of armed group members and their weapons to the Palestinian Authority to receive protection from Israeli assassination.

Indeed, 87% said the P.A. had no right to arrest members of these armed groups, either to stop them from carrying out attacks against Israelis or to protect them from Israeli retaliation.

A majority, 59%, expected armed groups to expand and spread to other areas in Judea and Samaria. Fifteen percent said Israel would succeed in arresting or killing their members and 14% expected the P.A. to contain or co-opt the groups.

The poll also found that if presidential elections were held today, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh would defeat P.A. leader Mahmoud Abbas (54% to 36%). The results mirror those of three months ago, which showed Haniyeh beating Abbas 53% to 38%.

The agency arrested four members of a terror cell and disabled an active bomb before it was detonated.

The terrorists were arrested on December 14th, and a bomb hidden inside a fire extinguisher that was intended to be used in a forthcoming attack was seized and destroyed by the Shin Bet.

News of the arrests was not made public until nearly two weeks after the attack was thwarted.

The Palestinian Authority, responsible for security in the area, did nothing.

In October, unidentified gunmen shot at the Christian-owned Bethlehem Hotel after a video on social media associated the hotel with a display that included cardboard cutouts of a Star of David and a Menorah. …

No arrests were made in connection with the shooting.

Perhaps the greatest shock to the community came in April when the Palestinian evangelical pastor, Johnny Shahwan, was arrested by the Palestinian Authority security forces on charges of ‘promoting normalization’ with Israel. …

In January, a large group of masked men carrying sticks and iron bars attacked Christian brothers, Daoud and Daher Nassar, on their farm near Bethlehem. The Palestinian courts have been working to confiscate the farm that has been owned by the family since the Ottoman Empire.

Although this report focuses on recent attacks, the persecution of Palestinian Christians is a longstanding problem.  As Rabbi Pesach Wolicki, Director of the Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding and Cooperation, said:

Unfortunately, these recent attacks against churches are not new. Christians have been under attack in Bethlehem for many, many years. There have been bombings. There are near-constant physical attacks against Christians. They’re going on a regular basis, ever since the Palestinian Authority took over.

The two nations have moved to direct contact a while ago, and the two are very satisfied with the results,” writes Barnea, according to sources in Washington. “The Saudi royal house was involved in the process which brought to the agreements with the UAE. At a certain point, there was even talk of the Saudis joining. The process didn’t develop, but it was clear to all that if Saudi Arabia would not give the Emiratis the green light, there wouldn’t have been an agreement.

Two and a quarter years have passed since the signing and the Saudis know that the countries that signed were not damaged. The experiment worked: We can move on to the next step.”

Barnea reports that Netanyahu is committing not to annex Judea and Samaria, in opposition to the opinion of designated Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. “Netanyahu is offering a normalization deal that does not include an Israeli commitment to proceed in the Palestinian issue. He commits to refrain from annexing territories for the extent of his term as prime minister and beyond it. A similar commitment to that which he made to the Americans while working on the Abraham Accords.”

(December 28, 2022 / JNS) An Indiana University (IU) dean has admitted that IU’s School of Philanthropy “failed in our due diligence” when it invited deported Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) board member Sami Al-Arian to participate in a program about the war on terrorism and its impact on Muslim charities.

The Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) reported on the panel discussion on Dec. 20, detailing Al-Arian’s prominent history of PIJ involvement and his antisemitic hate speech, prompting readers to complain to IU President Pamela Whitten.

Amir Pasic, dean of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, wrote back to apologize.

“Though he had been recommended to those developing this session due to his academic work and recent efforts organizing a global conference on Islamophobia,” Pasic wrote, “we failed in our due diligence to consider his past comments and actions prior to extending an invitation to him. As a result, we have further strengthened our protocols.”

Pasic issued a similar statement to IPT, but did not answer questions about who recommended Al-Arian or what changes have been made to the university’s protocols.

  Make Sunsets is already attempting to earn revenue for geoengineering, a move likely to provoke widespread criticism.

A startup claims it has launched weather balloons that may have released reflective sulfur particles in the stratosphere, potentially crossing a controversial barrier in the field of solar geoengineering.

Geoengineering refers to deliberate efforts to manipulate the climate by reflecting more sunlight back into space, mimicking a natural process that occurs in the aftermath of large volcanic eruptions. In theory, spraying sulfur and similar particles in sufficient quantities could potentially ease global warming.

It’s not technically difficult to release such compounds into the stratosphere. But scientists have mostly (though not entirely) refrained from carrying out even small-scale outdoor experiments. And it’s not clear that any have yet injected materials into that specific layer of the atmosphere in the context of geoengineering-related research.

That’s in part because it’s highly controversial. Little is known about the real-world effect of such deliberate interventions at large scales, but they could have dangerous side effects. The impacts could also be worse in some regions than others, which could provoke geopolitical conflicts.

Some researchers who have long studied the technology are deeply troubled that the company, Make Sunsets, appears to have moved forward with launches from a site in Mexico without any public engagement or scientific scrutiny. It’s already attempting to sell “cooling credits” for future balloon flights that could carry larger payloads.

Several researchers MIT Technology Review spoke with condemned the effort to commercialize geoengineering at this early stage. Some potential investors and customers who have reviewed the company’s proposals say that it’s not a serious scientific effort or a credible business but more of an attention grab designed to stir up controversy in the field.

Luke Iseman, the cofounder and CEO of Make Sunsets, acknowledges that the effort is part entrepreneurial and part provocation, an act of geoengineering activism.

He hopes that by moving ahead in the controversial space, the startup will help drive the public debate and push forward a scientific field that has faced great difficulty carrying out small-scale field experiments amid criticism.

“We joke slash not joke that this is partly a company and partly a cult,” he says.

Iseman, previously a director of hardware at Y Combinator, says he expects to be pilloried by both geoengineering critics and researchers in the field for taking such a step, and he recognizes that “making me look like the Bond villain is going to be helpful to certain groups.” But he says climate change is such a grave threat, and the world has moved so slowly to address the underlying problem, that more radical interventions are now required.

“It’s morally wrong, in my opinion, for us not to be doing this,” he says. What’s important is “to do this as quickly and safely as we can.”

The global warming hysteria has now reached such absurd heights that a startup company will now attempt to control the weather via solar geoengineering. Unsurprisingly, such a move could have deadly unintended consequences if widely adopted.

MIT Technology Review reported Saturday that a company called Make Sunsets has successfully launched weather balloons from Mexico that may have released sulfur particles into the atmosphere. Luke Iseman, the co-founder and CEO, claims that because climate change presents such an imminent threat, bizarre interventions like theirs are necessary:

Con Edison is asking its 1.1 million natural gas, 3.5 million electric, and steam customers in the New York City Metropolitan region to conserve energy due to frigid weather.

“Conserving energy as much as possible now will help ensure adequate natural gas supplies for the rest of the weekend,” Con Edison said.

“Owners of natural gas pipelines have reported that equipment problems caused by the cold weather and the heavy demand for natural gas are challenging their ability to provide adequate amounts of gas throughout the Northeast,” the utility company continued.

Add Con Edison to the growing list of utilities and grid operators that warned about grid stress issues due to surging heating demand.

Amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman Fried has come forward to help a crypto donation project. He humbly announced that FTX will be supporting the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and other communities in collecting crypto donations for the country. The Ukrainian government has received over $60 million in crypto donations from all over the world.

FTX’s CEO, Sam Bankman Fried highlighted that the war in Ukraine has been dragging on. The country is in full need of humanitarian help and access to global financial infrastructure. He also called attention to sanctions and crypto during this kind of situation. He indicated that crypto exchanges should enforce sanctions announced by the government seriously.

Earlier we reported Wisconsin’s We-Energies told customers to lower their thermostats due to a natural gas pipeline malfunctions. Now Indiana Michigan Power customers have been told to reduce their electricity usage until 10am Christmas morning, and they may face rolling blackouts due to bitterly freezing temperatures. (Because who knew there could be cold weather in winter?)

“Crypto Sam” Bankman-Fried Out On $250 Million Bail Bond And Under House Arrest At Parents’ Home   by Christine Dolan

“Crypto Sam” walked out of a New York federal courthouse Thursday after his parents and two other parties agreed to sign a $250 million bail bond and keep him under house arrest at his parents’ Palo Alto, California home while awaiting trial on federal charges.

Bankman-Fried flipped from fighting extradition from The Bahamas to the U.S. to not challenging the extradition after spending time in the notorious rat-infested Bahamian Fox Hill jail.

He faces federal criminal charges for eight counts of fraud, conspiracy, money laundering and illegal campaign contributions after allegedly lying to FTX investors and taking billions of clients’ dollars for his own personal use.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicolas Roos said in court on Thursday that Bankman-Fried “perpetrated a fraud of epic proportions.”

Roos told the court that an important reason for allowing bail was that Bankman-Fried agreed to be extradited to the U.S.

Magistrate Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein agreed to the bond and house arrest, but insisted an electronic monitoring bracelet before he left the  New York courthouse.

Roos had recommended it be attached Friday in California.

2nd Russian Lawmaker Assassinated In India In A Week

December 28, 2022  A former Russian politician who criticized the conflict with Ukraine has passed away. According to reports, Pavel Antov died after falling while on vacation in India. This is 2nd Russian lawmaker that has been assassinated in India in a week.

A unexplained fall from a hotel in India led to the death of Russia’s “highest-earning elected politician,” who had criticized Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine, reports Mail Online.

Pavel Antov, a multimillionaire from the major pro-Putin party United Russia, was traveling to commemorate his 66th birthday.

The affluent politician passed just two days after a male acquaintance who belonged to his party had died “from a heart attack” on Thursday of last week.

The married businessman, who serves as an MP in the Vladimir region’s legislative body, was recognized as Russia’s highest-paid elected politician in 2019.

Alexei Idamkin, the Russian consul general in Kolkata, claimed to TASS that he “fell” from a hotel window in Rayagada, in the state of Odisha.

For four decades, East Germany held complete power over almost all aspects of life for people in East Germany. They maintained this domination by use of a secret police force named the Stasi.

The Stasi were one of the most successful intelligence services in history: they kept almost unimaginably detailed files and records on large quantities of the population, and created an atmosphere of fear and unease that they then proceeded to exploit. They created a vast network of unofficial informants to spy on the populace.

We are careening directly into an abyss of war, pain and misery, and our leaders are thunderously applauding as it happens.  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy came to Washington this week because he wanted more money, and our politicians in Washington definitely did not disappoint him.  Even though we had already given Ukraine far more money than the rest of the world combined, our politicians agreed to give him another colossal mountain of cash.  On some level, we all have to respect Zelenskyy’s skills as a con man.  Even though he has banned the main opposition party in Ukraine, and even though he has banned all television stations that were critical of him, and even though he just banned an entire ancient Christian denomination, our politicians continue to worship him like some sort of a pop music star.  Zelenskyy has become an extremely oppressive dictator that has set himself up to rule Ukraine for as long as he wants, but members of Congress from both parties continue to hail him as a “champion of democracy” that deserves our unquestioning support.

What makes this so dangerous is that Zelenskyy has been trying very hard to pull the United States into his war with Russia.

Throughout 2022 the U.S. has been getting increasingly involved in the conflict, and at this point we are “providing most of the funding, most of the equipment, most of the ammunition, most of the high level intelligence and much of the training” for the international army that is fighting the Russians in Ukraine.

In other words, we are essentially a direct participant in the war.

For years I have been warning my readers that there would be a war with Russia, and now it is here.

If we had rational leaders in Washington, they would be trying to end this conflict before the nukes start flying.

But instead, they are pledging to give Zelenskyy whatever he needs for as long as it takes to defeat the Russians.

When Zelenskyy visited Washington this week, the White House literally rolled out the red carpet for him.

Gov. Abbott Calls on AG Paxton to Investigate Atmos Energy’s Failure to Deliver Natural Gas to Texans During Last Week’s Polar Vortex   By Cristina Laila

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) on Wednesday called on Attorney General Ken Paxton to investigate Atmos Energy’s failure to prepare for last week’s Polar Vortex.

A powerful Arctic blast caused temperatures in Texas to dip below zero over the Christmas holiday weekend.

Abbott said Atmos Energy failed to deliver natural gas to North and Central Texas.

“Leading up to, and during the winter event, State of Texas agencies worked around the clock to mobilize resources and assist utilities in any way possible,” Abbott said in one of the letters.

“At no time did Atmos Energy request assistance. Atmos’ conduct is unacceptable and concrete action must be taken… to ensure it is not repeated the next time that winter weather engulfs our state. It is for these reasons I request [your agency] to investigate Atmos Energy. Because we are just beginning winter, and because customers of Atmos deserve to have reliable natural gas service during this winter, there is an urgency to have [your agency’s] investigation concluded in a matter of weeks,” Abbott said.

“I’m calling on the Texas Attorney General and Railroad Commission of Texas to investigate Atmos Energy’s failure to deliver natural gas to Texans in north & central Texas during last week’s winter weather event.” Abbott said.

A recent study explores the phenomenon of black anti-Semitism more broadly, ruling out popular explanations—and excuses—for its frequency.

Black anti-Semitism is nothing new. It has appeared in the works of black intellectuals since at least the early-20th-century black nationalist Marcus Garvey, as Elliot Kaufman observed in Commentary, and defined politics in New York City—the American metropolis where blacks and Jews most often rub shoulders—for generations.

But where does it come from? A new paper by sociologists Eitan Hersh of Tufts University and Laura Royden of Harvard explores this question. The pair reveal—using a survey of thousands of Americans—some shocking statistics, including that black and Hispanic young adults report anti-Semitic views at rates similar to white young adults who self-identify as “alt-right.”

The paper torpedoes popular explanations for black anti-Semitism, like the claim that anti-Semitism is just “anti-whiteness” or an expression of solidarity with the Palestinians. But it does not, despite its attempts to do so, pinpoint the source of this prejudice, so their findings suggest simply that views like Irving and West’s are more common than we’d like to believe, and aren’t going away any time soon.

The Keystone Pipeline runs from Alberta to Houston, almost in a straight line south down “Tornado Alley” in America’s midwest, running from North Dakota to Texas.

The overall pipeline is 2,687 miles long, is owned by TC Energy, and carries 860,000 barrels of oil per day through its 30 inch diameter tubes. The current price of oil per barrel is roughly $80. So the pipeline is moving roughly $68.8 million worth of oil through its pipeline every day, or $25.1 billion per year.

The pipeline shut down on December 7th after a spill of 14,000 barrels of oil in rural North Kansas. The Calgary, Canada-based company received permission from the Biden administration on Friday to reopen the pipeline, though it did not give a definitive date when it would restart.

The spill, in Washington County, Kansas, affected both farmland and a nearby creek.

Many media outlets have erroneously reported that the oil was entirely spilled into a creek. In fact, the pipeline was on a hill above a small creek and some of it flowed into Mill Creek. The creek is not connected to any source of drinking water.

(Natural News) In the days leading up to Christmas, struggling Americans who need a warm place of shelter have nowhere to go because fake president Joe Biden is filling up all the homeless shelters with illegal migrants.

There is only so much room at the inn, and Biden has decided that Americans should be the ones left out in the cold while he rolls out the red carpet for invaders from south of the border who believe they are entitled to this country’s scarce resources for the poor.

Since August, according to John Martin, deputy director at El Paso’s Opportunity Center for the Homeless, the group’s five shelters have been overloaded with migrants who are being released by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas’ “easy migration” policies.

“The numbers are so high that many migrants cannot find seats in departing buses and aircraft,” reported The Wall Street Journal.

Martin says that prior to Biden, the Opportunity Center’s five shelters primarily focused on the city’s local homeless population. Now, they mostly serve are shelters for illegals who under prior administrations would have been sent back to the places from whence they came.

“Our ideal capacity is 85,” Martin said, noting that right now there are about 129 people being housed – and nearly all of them are migrants.

At another nearby men’s shelter, about 60 percent of the 200 men currently there are migrants. That space was only intended to house about 100 to 120 people comfortably. (Related: The government is now starting to call these people “climate migrants” to push more “green” propaganda.)

Marine Corps Could Axe “Sir” and “Ma’am” Over Gender Neutrality Worries  By Anthony Scott

The US military may get woker.

A new report has advised the US Marine Corps to no longer use “gendered terms” such as “Yes Sir or Yes Ma’am”.

The new academic report stemmed from research conducted by the University of Pittsburgh that was directly commissioned by the Marine Corps.

The report claims the Marine Corps is behind other branches of the military when it comes to using gender identifiers.

The report also states the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard have, for the most part, gotten rid of gender identifiers such as “Sir” and “Ma’am” but instead address drill instructors by their rank and last name

At first the agency that’s responsible for “providing leadership on global health matters” was dismissive of the scale of the problem in West Africa. Then it deflected responsibility for the crisis to the overwhelmed governments of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. After eight months, it finally stepped up to take charge of the Ebola response but lacked the staff and funds to do so effectively.
