Furthermore, the Torah’s wisdom includes all areas of life, including the most fundamental area of healthy living. If we fail to derive all we need to know about healthy living by studying the Torah, and must supplement our knowledge with other sources of information, the shortcoming is with us, not with the Torah. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is recruiting priests and theologians to assess how the world’s major religions would react to the news of discovering extraterrestrial life and advise the agency on how to quell civil unrest upon the revelation.
The agency has enlisted 24 religious experts to develop protocols for the discovery of alien life in its Center for Theological Inquiry program at Princeton University in New Jersey.
NASA provided CTI with a $1.1 million grant to create the program devoted to researching “the societal implications of astrobiology” in 2015.
According to its website, CTI “builds bridges of understanding by convening theologians, scientists, scholars and policymakers to think together — and inform public thinking — on global concerns.

On December 1, 2020, Georgia election operatives Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea “Shaye” Moss sued The Gateway Pundit, founder Jim Hoft and contributing editor Joe Hoft for allegedly conducting a “campaign of lies” against the two women that led to online and in-person harassment against them.
The organization behind the lawsuit is called Protect Democracy, a large far-left political organization.
The two women and their far-left funders targeted The Gateway Pundit after we were the first to identify the women in the late-night ballot-counting video at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta Georgia on November 3rd and the morning of the November 4th.
The Gateway Pundit was also first to reveal that Ruby Freeman was caught on video shoving stacks of ballots through the voting machines numerous times late at night after all of the election observers were sent home.

The Taliban has halted all evacuee flights out of Afghanistan following the US withdrawal from the country in September. There are reportedly thousands of Americans, military families and green card holders still in the country.

The Taliban has paused all evacuation flights out of Afghanistan due to a disagreement over who gets seats on the planes, NBC News reported Thursday.
The flights stopped two weeks ago after the Taliban began demanding seats be given to fighters and sympathizers so that they could go work in other countries and send money back, a congressional official and a source familiar with the matter told NBC.

The New Jersey pharmaceutical company supplying ivermectin to a UK trial that was paused for a short period of time, says there are no supply issues with its pills.
Ivermectin is being investigated as part of the government-backed Platform Randomised Trial of Treatments in the Community for Epidemic and Pandemic Illnesses (PRINCIPLE) in the United Kingdom as a possible home treatment for COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus. The trial was put on hold due to “temporary supply issues” as reported by Medpage Today on Dec. 14.
Details were not provided on the cause of the supply issues. The trial’s joint chief investigator, professor Chris Butler, and the trial’s press team declined to comment and respond to a query asking when the supply issue is expected to be resolved.
The Epoch Times also reached out to Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust in England—one of two organizations responsible for QP (quality person) release, importing, and, labeling of ivermectin in the trial—but did not receive a reply.

Another, Matt Carthy representing Cavan-Monahan, has stated that Israel is the worst human rights offender on earth — presumably dwarfing China, North Korea, Venezuela and Iran.
- There is understandably some sympathetic sentiment among the Irish people for the plight of Palestinians, as there is also among Israelis, saddened to see people suffer unnecessarily under a brutal and corrupt Palestinian leadership, which has full autonomy over much the territory under dispute. The Palestinians long ago agreed, in the Oslo Accords of 1993, to settle those disputes by direct negotiation, not by external fiat.
- All Israelis — about 20% of whom are Muslims, along with Christians and Druze — have identical rights under the law. Israeli Arabs can vote, have political parties and prominent job opportunities, and are members of Israel’s parliament. The one exception is that Arabs are not required to serve in the Israeli military; in the event of possible conflicts with Arab states, Israelis did not want brother fighting brother.
- Even more shocking was that fully a third of Irish members of parliament of voted to expel Israeli diplomats from Ireland.
13. More Than 10,000 Russian Troops Returning To Bases After Drills Near Ukraine -Interfax
MOSCOW (Reuters) – More than 10,000 Russian troops have been returning to their permanent bases after month-long drills near Ukraine, Interfax news agency reported on Saturday, citing the Russian military.
Interfax said the drills were held in several regions near Ukraine, including in Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014, as well as in the southern Russian regions of Rostov and Kuban.
Russia’s deployment of tens of thousands of troops to the north, east and south of Ukraine had fuelled fears in Kyiv and Western capitals that Moscow was planning an attack.
Russia denies any such plans, saying it needs pledges from the West – including a promise from NATO not to expand the alliance eastward towards Russian borders – because its own security is threatened by Ukraine’s growing ties with the Western alliance.

An estimated 187,000 people in almost every municipality on the island marched peacefully on that day demanding an end to the communist regime. The Washington Post reports that a recent Washington Post-Schar School poll found that the majority of Americans don’t trust Facebook and other social media platforms with their personal information and think that targeted advertisements are annoying and invasive. The survey, which was conducted in November among a random sample of 1,122 U.S. adults, found that while many Americans admit to using social media heavily, 64 percent say that the government should do more to limit and control big tech giants.

In 1947, the UN adopted its “Partition Plan for Palestine,” dividing the Land of Israel between the Jews and the Arabs, with Jerusalem designated as an internationally administered city. The Jews accepted this plan, the Arabs didn’t. We should be thankful for that.
The UN intended for us to have a narrow corridor of a country, split into 3 blocs separated by international border crossings. See this map for reference. Even Jaffa was excluded from it. Such a country would not have been defendable, it would not have been able to absorb world Jewry, and could not have been self-sufficient. We would have been like the Gaza Strip.
The Arabs opted instead to attack us with their armies. The British pulled out their forces, and we were poorly armed civilians, many of us refugees from the Holocaust, sitting in the crossroads of hostile armies. The Arabs planned to drive us into the sea, and yet we should be thankful for their hostility.

The Samarian community of Chomesh originally was established as a secular settlement of the National Worker movement in 1980, in the heart of Samaria, north of Shavei Shomron and northwest of Shechem, on Route 60.
Ariel Sharon had Chomesh torn down in northern Samaria as part of his 2005 Gaza tragedy that gave rise to Hamas as a sovereign war combatant. Seventy families were displaced from Chomesh then. In 2009 a yeshiva was set up in Chomesh.
Arab Muslim terrorists murdered Yehudah Dimentman of blessed memory on Thursday, December 16, near Chomesh. He learned Torah at that yeshiva. The government now is planning to tear down the yeshiva.
I can think of only one thing in all of modern Israel history that would even remotely compare with the Israeli government now tearing down the yeshiva in Chomesh. That would be when David Ben-Gurion and Yitzchak Rabin coordinated to shoot down and sink the Altalena and kill those aboard.
The Altalena was an Irgun-sponsored ship sailing to Israel, bringing vitally desperately needed weapons during Israel’s war of independence, to secure what could be held in Jerusalem. However, the socialists of the pre-state Haganah, which would become the socialist Labor Party, ordered the ship destroyed. They succeeded. Yitzchak Rabin commanded the murderous assault. Avrasha Stavsky was murdered. Menachem Begin might have been murdered, too, if he were not forcefully taken off the ship by others before it went down. G-d remembers those who murder Jews standing for Israel. G-d does not forget.

This week marked a turning point in the Israeli government’s response to the Omicron variant, beginning with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s Sunday evening address warning of a “fifth wave” of the coronavirus and hinting of a possible lockdown this winter.
In the days that followed, the government has mulled a variety of measures to contain the Omicron variant, which has several hundred confirmed cases in Israel.
