Tennessee Lawmakers Pass Bill Banning Drag Performances in Public or in Front of Children   By Cassandra Macdonald 

Feb. 23, 2023 1:35 pm – Tennessee lawmakers have passed a bill banning drag shows in public or in front of children.

Republican Representative Chris Todd introduced the bill, HB0009, after he sought a court order to stop a “family-friendly” drag show that was scheduled to take place in a Jackson park last year. His effort was successful, the show was moved to a venue for adults.

“It was forced to be indoors and 18 and up, and I was asked to come up with legislation that would make this much more clear,” Todd said on Thursday, according to a report from Reuters.

According to a report from the Tennessean, the bill classifies “male and female impersonators” as adult cabaret performers and bans “adult-oriented performances that are harmful to minors” under the state’s obscenity law.

“This is a common-sense, child safety bill,” Todd said before the vote.

If signed into law, the legislation would make drag performances in front of children or in public a misdemeanor for first-time offenders and a felony for second offenses.

Feb. 21, 2023 9:15 am – Congratulations liberals.  Students in many Illinois schools are so far behind they will be lucky to ever catch up. The Gateway Pundit reported on Valentine’s day on the latest data coming out of Illinois schools.  In 53 schools in the state, not one child can do math at grade level. In 30 schools, not a single student can read at grade level.

February 14, 2023 – The kids are not okay, and it is time for us to face the truth.  As long as I have been writing, surveys have shown that the mental health of our young people has been steadily getting worse.  But now we are learning that things really took an enormous turn for the worse during the pandemic.  As you will see below, one expert is warning that the number of kids that are dealing with mental health issues “has increased exponentially since the pandemic”.  The facts that I am about to share with you are likely to make you very angry.  Our system does not work, and millions upon millions of young people are having their lives ruined as a result.  The following are 13 numbers that show how dramatically we have failed America’s children…

#1 One recent survey found that 40 percent of U.S. parents “worry their children struggle with anxiety or depression”.

#2 During the pandemic, suicide became the second leading cause of death for U.S. children between the ages of 10 and 14.

#3 Suicide is also the second leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 15 and 24.

#4 According to a recent Pew Research Center poll, 46 percent of U.S. kids between the ages of 13 and 17 have experienced cyberbullying.

#5 40 percent of U.S. high school students “felt so sad or hopeless” in 2021 that “they were unable to do their regular activities”.

#6 According to the CDC, “more than 95% of children and adolescents in the U.S. spend much of their daily lives in school”.

#7 At 23 schools in Baltimore, not one single student is proficient in math.

#8 At 30 schools in Illinois, not one single student can read at grade level.

#9 At 53 schools in Illinois, not one single student can do math at grade level.

#10 According to the CDC, nearly 20 percent of all adolescent female students experienced sexual violence in 2021.

#11 According to the CDC, nearly 60 percent of all adolescent female students “experienced persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness” in 2021.

#12 According to the CDC, nearly 25 percent of all adolescent female students “made a suicide plan” in 2021.

#13 The proportion of adolescent female students that actually attempted suicide in 2021 was 60 percent higher than a decade ago.

There is nothing “normal” about these numbers.

FEB 19, 2023 12:00 PM  – These are mostly girls and women who are being taken back home for female genital mutilation and/or forced marriage.

“900 children have been taken out of Sweden – in five years,” translated from “900 barn har förts ut ur Sverige – på fem år,” by Cecilia Anderberg, SVT, February 13, 2023:

“48 percent of the children who were abducted in an honor context during 2021 and 2022 were taken to Iraq and Somalia, SVT’s mapping shows.

Over 900 children have been taken out of Sweden since 2018, according to SVT Nyheter.

The majority of cases take place in an honor context or in connection with a custody dispute, according to the channel.

SVT has done the mapping using statistics from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the past five years, at least 1,151 people have been abducted or illegally detained in another country, according to the channel. 235 of them are over 18 – many of them young adults.

916 are children.

But the number of secret abductions is likely to be large, according to lawyer Ia Sveger, who has represented affected parents and children for two decades.

“The number is most likely even higher,” she tells SVT.

She explains that relatives do not report this because they do not trust that the Swedish authorities will be able to assist in the matter.

• The child sex change industry is massive and growing, and children undergoing cross-sex treatments can bring a massive cash influx to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and others in the medical industry.
• From 2017-2019 at least 56 genital surgeries and 776 mastectomies were performed on minors as part of the gender transition process in the U.S., but even this figure is outdated and vastly underestimates the scope of the child sex change industry by excluding certain patients.
• “There is no question that financial rewards play a role in the adoption of gender affirming care. Hospitals and physicians generate substantial payments from insurers or self pay patients when children enter into the transition protocols,” Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, board chair of Do No Harm and former Associate Dean for Curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Child sex changes procedures, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries, have become a rapidly-growing, multi-million-dollar industry, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation.
