Florida Lawmakers Poised to Pass Law Allowing Death Penalty for Pedophiles By Cassandra Macdonald
Apr. 12, 2023 7:15 am – Florida lawmakers appear poised to pass legislation allowing the death penalty for pedophiles.
If passed, pedophiles could be sent to death if they commit sexual battery on a child under age 12.
According to a report from CBS News, “the House is scheduled Thursday to take up its version of the bill (HB 1297), while the Senate version (SB 1342) was approved Tuesday by the Rules Committee, positioning it to go to the full Senate.”
The Supreme Court has previously ruled that imposing capital punishment in rape cases is unconstitutional, but that may change with the new justices.
There has not been an execution for a crime that did not include murder in the United States since 1964.
After the bill passed the Rules Committee, Senate bill sponsor Jonathan Martin, a former prosecutor, said, “if an individual rapes an 11-year-old, a 10-year-old, a 2-year-old or a 5-year-old, they should be subject to the death penalty.”

Apr. 11, 2023 – The Dalai Lama made unwanted headlines this week after a disgusting video of the Tibetan spiritual leader surfaced on Twitter.
In the video, the Dalai Lama was at a speaking event in India and invited a young boy on the stage.
Once the boy was on stage the Dalai Lama told the boy to kiss his cheek and lips.
The bizarre spiritual leader would then proceed to tell the young boy to “suck his tongue.”

It wouldn’t seem much for an 87-year-old man, a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and spiritual leader of a branch of one of the world’s largest religions to understand that urging a young boy to “suck my tongue” is not the kind of behavior that’s going to go over well on the world stage.
But the Dalai Lama, the leader of a branch of one of the world’s largest religions, is finding it out now.
The Dalai Lama, leader-in-exile of Tibetan Buddhism and a figure known around the world for decades, found himself issuing a public apology to a young Indian boy, the boy’s family and “his many friends across the world” after video went public showing an encounter between the two in February that included astonishing, appalling behavior by the religious leader.
As CNN reported, the Dalai Lama was visiting the city of Dharamshala in northern India when the boy approached the stage and asked “Can I hug you?”
It wasn’t the “hug” anyone would have expected. First, the Dalai Lama wanted a kiss on the cheek, then a kiss on the mouth. Then, he took things even further.
