Just as the popular British comedian was gaining massive attention for confronting global authoritarianism, he was hit with an onslaught of sexual allegations by anonymous accusers, which were amplified throughout the mainstream media.
Brand, known for his left-leaning ideology, articulate critique of the war in Ukraine, and the history of NATO leading up to said war, was rewarded with a clandestine ‘shadow campaign’ against him, which according to Tucker Carlson, “began with governments, not private organizations, but governments, their Intel services and their policy makers.” Brand was even attacked “as a Chinese propagandist” for his views on Ukraine.

Biden’s Iran Policy Has Backfired by Jonathan Spyer
February 3, 2024 The Spectator – Nine years ago, Barack Obama, with his vice president Joe Biden at his side, announced the Iran nuclear deal. Ayatollah Khamenei’s regime would not enrich weapons-grade uranium for 15 years. The US would lift economic sanctions in return. It was ‘historic’, said Obama. The Iranians had been close to developing their first nuke: this agreement stopped them. ‘This deal demonstrates that American diplomacy can bring about real and meaningful change – change that makes our country, and the world, safer and more secure,’ added the president from the White House lectern.
If recent months are anything to go by, these diplomatic efforts to fix the Middle East have been a disaster. The region isn’t safer, nor more secure. Obama’s nuclear deal was too narrow. It gave Iran room to develop its proxy military and terror groups across the region. The main dividing line in the Middle East today is whether you’re on Iran’s side or not.
Under Donald Trump, America briefly took a hardline approach towards Iran. Trump’s administration hammered the Iranian economy with sanctions that cut its oil exports by four-fifths, and devalued its currency by two-thirds. [Emphasis added] Four years ago, a US drone strike killed Qasem Soleimani – the second-most powerful figure in Iran, commander of the Quds Force branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and a man central to the regime’s proxy network. Despite much bellicose talk, Iran’s response to his killing was minimal. Trump said his ‘maximum pressure’ campaign would force Khamenei and the mullahs into submission, stop Iran making a nuclear bomb, and end the regime-sponsored terrorism. It appeared to work.
But Biden’s White House returned to the Obama strategy. Prior to 7 October, his administration was doing its best to revive the old nuclear deal. US officials met with Iranian counterparts in Oman and in New York earlier in the year, ignoring the fact that Tehran’s proxies were carrying out rocket and drone attacks on US positions in northeast Syria. Since 7 October, these attacks have intensified: there have been more than 160 drone and missile attacks on US positions in Iraq and Syria. America’s response to this wave of attacks – as well as Iran’s brazen bombing of Pakistan, Syria and Iraq – has been mostly muted. A drone strike killed Jawad al-Jawari, a senior official of the Nujaba movement, a key IRGC-linked militia in Iraq, at the start of this year. But it hasn’t stopped Iran.

Black pastors are pressuring President Joe Biden to save Hamas because they identify with “oppressed” Palestinians who launched a genocidal war, not a drive for civil rights.
(January 31, 2024 / JNS) – For the 1,000 black pastors who have joined a movement to pressure President Joe Biden to force a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas, the issue is solidarity with the “oppressed.” This can be seen as part of a general revolt within the activist base of the Democratic Party against the administration’s policy in the Middle East. Much like the petitions signed by lower-level officials throughout the government, Democratic congressional staffers and even the president’s campaign staff. But as reports in The New York Times, NPR and other publications have made clear, the opposition of black churches, which have long been key to get-out-the-vote campaigns to elect Democrats, to Biden on an issue they say “isn’t marginal” poses a potentially lethal threat to his hopes for re-election.
But the key question to be asked about this effort is not so much about its political impact, significant though it may be. It’s why so many African-Americans, especially church leaders who have real influence among their congregants as well as the general black community, could come to believe that the cause of the Palestinians is somehow linked to their own interests and beliefs.
The answer to this puzzle is clear. Intersectional myths in which the Palestinian war to destroy the one Jewish state on the planet is somehow analogous to the struggle for civil rights in the United States are no longer merely a talking point of academic fashion. These toxic ideas have now been embraced by the African-American community. The teaching of critical race theory and the woke catechism of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) divides the world into two immutable groups locked in a never-ending struggle: white oppressors and people of color, who are always the victims. Black pastors have swallowed the neo-Marxist lies that Jews are “white” oppressors and that Palestinian Arabs are victimized people of color—and are sharing that with their congregants.

Abolish the U.N.’s Palestinian Refugee Agency Bret Stephens
Jan. 30, 2024 – United Nations agencies and officials are no strangers to scandal and infamy.
U.N. peacekeepers caused a cholera epidemic in Haiti and committed horrific sexual abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The U.N.’s oil-for-food program for Iraq became a multibillion-dollar kickback scheme through which Saddam Hussein all but bribed his way out of international sanctions. In the 1980s, Kurt Waldheim, a former U.N. secretary general, was unmasked as a former Nazi. He was the same secretary general who denounced Israel’s 1976 rescue of Jewish hostages in Entebbe as “a serious violation” of Uganda’s national sovereignty.
Now comes the latest scandal of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees, better known as UNRWA.
Last Friday, Israeli officials presented the U.S. government with an intelligence dossier detailing the involvement of 12 UNRWA employees, seven of them schoolteachers, in the massacre of Oct. 7. As reported by The Times’s Ronen Bergman and Patrick Kingsley, the charges range from kidnapping an Israeli woman to storing rocket-propelled grenades to murdering civilians in a kibbutz.
Awful enough — and the U.N. rightly moved swiftly to terminate the employment of nine of those identified by the dossier. But that may be the least of it. “Intelligence estimates shared with the U.S. conclude that around 1,200 of UNRWA’s roughly 12,000 employees in Gaza have links to Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and about half have close relatives who belong to the Islamist militant groups,” The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.
The figures are worth bearing in mind the next time you weigh the credibility of information about Gaza sourced to the U.N. Also worth bearing in mind is that this has been going on for years. As Bassam Eid of the Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group noted over a decade ago, “In order for UNRWA to survive, they accept [Hamas’s] conditions because they want to continue their activities.”
The new revelations were enough for the Biden administration to suspend its funding for the agency — worth nearly $350 million in 2022 — while it investigates the allegations. As of Tuesday, other major funders, including France, Germany and Japan, have followed suit.
That’s a start. But the fundamental problem with the agency isn’t that it appears to be infested with terrorists and their sympathizers, or that their salaries are paid by naïve foreign donors. It’s that UNRWA may be the only agency in the U.N. system whose central purpose is to perpetuate grievance and conflict. It should be abolished.
Think of it this way. The United Nations has two agencies dedicated to the plight of refugees. One, the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, is responsible for the well-being of nearly all the world’s more than 30 million refugees, with a mandate to help them resettle in third countries if they can’t go home.
The other is UNRWA, which theoretically operates under the umbrella of the high commissioner but is really its own organization. No other group except for Palestinians gets its own permanent agency.
Why? In part, because neighboring Arab countries like Lebanon cruelly refused to fully absorb Palestinian refugees, refusing them not only citizenship but also, in many cases, the right to most forms of work. In 1991, Kuwait went further by expelling hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in a matter of days, because the Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat had supported Saddam Hussein during the Persian Gulf war. Think of that the next time Arab governments profess solidarity with the Palestinian people.
As bad as the cruelty is the cynicism. The changing borders and independence movements of the postwar era produced millions of refugees: Germans, Indians, Pakistanis, Palestinians and Jews, including some 800,000 Jews who were kicked out of Arab countries that had been their homes for centuries. Nearly all found new lives in new countries — except for Palestinians. They have been kept as perpetual refugees as a means of both delegitimizing Israel and preserving the irredentist fantasy that someday their descendants will exercise what they believe is their “right of return,” effectively through the elimination of the Jewish state.
It’s upon that alleged right that efforts at a comprehensive Israeli-Palestinian peace deal have foundered. It’s also the right that UNRWA’s very existence keeps alive. Palestinians should be citizens of the countries in which they live — just as some two million Arabs are in Israel. They should not be cudgels in a never-ending struggle, subsidized from one aggrieved generation to the next by international largess.
Defenders of UNRWA insist that without it, Palestinian civilians will suffer even more. But there is no reason other international agencies can’t shoulder the burden of the immediate relief effort for Gazans. In the meantime, the Biden administration and other governments need to ask hard questions of UNRWA’s senior officials, starting with Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini.
To wit: If Lazzarini and his deputies didn’t know that UNRWA in Gaza was employing potentially hundreds of Hamas members or sympathizers, what sort of oversight were they exercising? And if they did know, are they not responsible? In either case — gross negligence or quiet complicity — they need to resign now.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict should not be insoluble. But it can’t be solved so long as millions of Palestinians have been turned into the world’s only permanent refugees. By doing that, UNRWA makes itself an obstacle to peace — reason enough for it to finally go away.

“The UNRWA’s Gaza staff has its own union. In the 2012 election, a pro-Hamas bloc won the support of most of the union with 25 out of 27 seats on a union board.
“I am sure that there are Hamas members on the UNRWA payroll,” a former UNRWA Commissioner General said, “and I don’t see that as a crime.”
When there was talk of reforming the UNRWA by removing Hamas members from its ranks, the editor of a Hamas paper wrote that, “Laying off the agency employees because of their political affiliation means laying off all the employees of the aid agency, because…they are all members of the ‘resistance,’ in its various forms.”
So if anything these numbers out of Israel probably underestimate the real ties to Hamas.
Two officials familiar with the intelligence said the Unrwa employees considered to have ties with militant groups were deemed to be “operatives,” indicating they took active part in the organization’s military or political framework. The report said 23% of Unrwa’s male employees had ties to Hamas, a higher percentage than the average of 15% for adult males in Gaza, indicating a higher politicization of the agency than the population at large.
Nearly half of all Unrwa employees—an estimated 49%—also had close relatives who also had official ties to the militant groups, especially Hamas, the intelligence reports said.

Any charity or aid group operating in a terrorist area is going to provide money and employment to the terrorists. Those are the only conditions on which it will be allowed to operate. (That means if you’re donating money to any charity doing work in Yemen, Gaza, Syria, Afghanistan, etc, you’re funding terrorists. It doesn’t matter if the group is UN, Christian, Jewish, internationally famous, they’re paying and employing terrorists. Or they wouldn’t be allowed to operate on the ground.)
The Taliban were making more money from our foreign aid than from anything else. They still are.
UNRWA is Hamas because it has to be. Yes, it provides benefits by handling the social services Hamas doesn’t want to do. But there’s no way that it would ever be allowed to operate without having a payroll full of Hamas members.

The Texas v Biden Border Standoff Explained
JAN 28, 2024 – I have been receiving a lot of inquiries about the Texas v Biden border standoff that is taking place these past few days, so I feel compelled to explain it and clear up some of the legal inaccuracies that are floating around.
Background
As a way of background, since Biden took over the White House three (very long) years ago, he has allowed upwards of SIX MILLION people into our country through our southern border. Some report that number to be more like NINE MILLION. And those are just the ones that our law enforcement has “caught.” There are likely millions more that have gotten in undetected… they are called the “got aways.” To put this into perspective, the Obama administration considered 1,000 attempted illegal crossings in a day to be a “crisis,” and yet under Biden, the number of actual illegal crossings are approximately 9,700/day using December 2023 numbers. That’s about 10x’s the number that Obama considered a “crisis.” (Oh, fun fact… guess who were members of Obama’s team that set the 1,000/day attempted entries standard… Wait for it… VP Joe Biden and Deputy Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas)!
The people entering our country are coming in record numbers and are unvetted, which means Biden is not checking who they are (no valid ID’s required), whether or not they have any diseases, or whether or not they have a criminal record. Furthermore, under Biden’s unfortunate reign, hundreds of known terrorists have been caught trying to enter our country. That of course does not take into account the number of terrorists who have entered undetected, nor does it account for those who mean us harm, but are not formally on our terrorist watch list.

January 27, 2024 – I will restate the obvious, October 7th should end the United Nations.
Just as the League of Nations was liquidated because of the advent of World War I and it had clearly failed in its primary purpose, the United Nations must too be abolished because it has become the very thing it was established to oppose – another Holocaust. Instead it is an arm of the global jihad and it is aiding and abetting in Jewish genocide. It has failed in its primary purpose and should be dismantled.
The League of Nations was established at the end of World War I as an international peacekeeping organization just as the United Nations was founded over seventy years ago in the wake of the Holocaust to ensure “never again.” Democracies, both nascent and well-established, comprised the majority of the founding nations of the UN. Israel’s Isolated Generals Caroline Glick
January 27, 2024 – Shortly after Hamas’s Oct. 7 invasion of Israel, its sadistic massacre of 1,200 Israelis and kidnap of 246 men, women and children from southern Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government declared war on Iran’s Palestinian proxy. The government set four war goals: the military eradication of Hamas; the eradication of Hamas’s civilian regime in the Gaza Strip; the return of all the hostages; and the permanent pacification of Gaza to ensure that it will never pose a threat to Israel again.
Almost immediately thereafter, anonymous “senior IDF sources” began grousing to the media about the government’s war goals. “Sources in the General Staff” have been regularly cited advocating for replacing the goals of the war with others that rule out Hamas’s eradication and the permanent pacification of Gaza.
A few weeks into the war, the Biden administration began insisting that the government set out its vision for postwar Gaza while making no effort to hide what it expects the plan to include: the transfer of power to the terror-infused, Hamas-aligned Palestinian Authority. As Netanyahu hemmed and hawed and delayed his response to avoid a confrontation with the administration, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevy and the other generals hopped on the U.S. bandwagon.
Buttressed by a chorus of retired generals, the sitting generals have insisted on and off the record that the absence of a vision of the day after the war leaves the military directionless. Netanyahu, they gripe, is making it impossible for the IDF to fight strategically.
The generals have things backwards. Israel’s strategic goals of destroying Hamas and securing the release of the hostages are both straightforward. It is the General Staff’s job to set out a plan for achieving them, replete with benchmarks to mark success. By demanding a plan for the day after the war, the General Staff is not asking for further guidance. It is demanding that the war goals be revised.

January 28, 2024 – Globalism is a replacement ideology that seeks to reorder the world into one singular, planetary Unistate, ruled by the globalist elite themselves. The long-term strategic attack plan moves America incrementally from constitutional republic to socialism to globalism to feudalism. The tactical attack plan uses psychological, informational, asymmetric warfare to destabilize Americans and drive society out of objective reality into the madness of subjective reality. The primary target of the globalist predators is America’s children.
The ability to distinguish between fact and fantasy is an essential survival skill. If a man believes he can fly and jumps off a twenty-story ledge, he falls to his death because gravity is a fact, an objective truth. Birdman’s fantasy, a subjective reality, cannot compete with the objective reality of gravity.
Let’s break down the process of thinking and doing. Thinking is a private matter and human beings are free to think their thoughts at any time in any place. Birdman is free to think he can fly, without consequence to himself or others. It is the moment he steps off the ledge that his subjective reality collides with objective reality.
Adults and children are evaluated differently in society. The fantasies of children are an accepted part of the growth process. In a sane society, adults who are out of touch with reality are deemed insane. In our example, Birdman would be considered insane.
Civil society and the laws that govern it are based on the acceptance of objective reality by its citizens. What would happen if there was a movement that deliberately rejected the teaching of objective reality and taught subjective reality instead? What would be the purpose of driving a society insane?
Remember, the ability to distinguish between fact and fantasy is a survival skill, because thought precedes action. Birdman thought he could fly and jumped to his death. Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts in order to form a judgment, and is the foundation of rational thought.
Feelings, on the other hand, are the foundation of beliefs. Birdman’s feeling that he is a bird that can fly cannot compete with the fact that he is a human being who cannot. Critical thinking, based on facts, is necessary in an adult society.
An insistence upon objective reality is what made America great, powerful, and undefeatable in World War II. At the end of the war, America’s enemies did not go quietly into the night. They reconstituted themselves to fight another day, in another way.
America’s enemies simply put down their guns, picked up their books, and concentrated on the future. They studied the human mind and decided to exploit the existence of the unconscious to defeat America psychologically. The strategic goal was to infantilize Americans. Children’s psychological growth would be paralyzed with educational indoctrination that interrupts their developing critical-thinking skills. Adults would be pressured out of the adult world of objective reality and regressed back into the childish world of feelings.
Vladimir Lenin infamously said, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
Texas Is Entitled to Use Military Force to Repel the Border Invasion General Michael Flynn
January 25, 2024 – The Supreme Court’s decision this week to order Texas not to protect its border with Mexico will go down in history as one of that Court’s most cowardly decisions which could doom our nation — if it is allowed to stand. That decision was not just about razor wire — it was about the role of states in our federal system, and the betrayal of the nation – first by a President, and now by two Republican-appointed Justices.
I ask you to invest the time to stay with me through this article — as we need to spend some time together to think through the background for the crisis that is now upon us — for it could be a truly existential threat to the nation.
Biden and The Wall
Within hours of Biden being sworn into office, he signed a Proclamation that ordered an end to construction of President Trump’s southern border wall. His stated reason was that the wall was “a waste of money that diverts attention from genuine threats to our homeland security.” This statement was so absurd that we knew at once that this man who had somehow assumed the Presidency was not on our side. Biden had just sworn the President’s constitutionally prescribed oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” and within hours he flung open the nation’s borders to all comers. Biden was announcing that he was the second act of the Obama Administration to “fundamentally transform” the United States. Biden was declaring that the Trump years were over, and the revolutionaries were back in charge.
Was the Trump wall really a “waste of money?” The establishment press had attacked Trump for spending $11 billion to put barriers along around 50 miles of our southern border. But the corrupt press thought nothing of spending more than 10 times that to defend Ukraine and its border. And the House GOP now estimates the annual cost of the Biden open border in caring for illegal aliens will be $451 billion. Biden opened the door, and over 3.8 million people walked through. That number of illegals is greater than the population of at least 22 states and is on the verge of destroying the nation in every way by causing crime, drug deaths, child trafficking, terrorism, deficit spending, and more. He could not have done any more damage to the nation if he had tried.
Did the wall really “divert attention from genuine threats to our homeland security?” Under Biden, military age men are pouring over the border from countries that despise our nation. Migrants on the Terrorism Watch List keep walking through — with only some being identified. Biden’s claims about the Wall were so patently false, so in your face, that we got his thuggish message — we have the power and we know how to use it.
Where were the Congressional Republicans?
Americans have been waiting for a very long time for Republicans to bring an end to the chaos. We held our breath and waited during Biden’s first two years, when Democrats enjoyed a majority of the House and a tie in the Senate which the Vice President could break in his favor. But for the last year, since January 2023, when Republicans took control of the House, we have waited for our party to do whatever is necessary to stop this existential threat to the nation. Remember that no money can be spent from the U.S. Treasury without approval by the House. Republicans could have stopped the assault on our borders, but they didn’t. For whatever reason — loyalty to the billionaire donor class, fear of the negative press, whatever — they caved, being afraid they would be blamed for a government shutdown.
Meanwhile the message from rank-and-file Republicans — but not outliers like Nikki Haley — has been simple: CLOSE THE BORDER. While we waited for Republicans to act, the border crisis got so bad that some Congressional Democrats — including five U.S. Senators — have begun to break with Biden. It’s time for House Republicans to close ranks and do whatever is necessary to support Texas in its defense of a border that Biden will not defend.
States Defending the Nation
Then we Republicans looked to the states to rise up and take real action to defend our borders. We knew Gavin Newsom in California was a lost cause. Doug Ducey was a McCain clone — shown to be uninterested in election fraud — who would do nothing to protect his constituents. Then in January 2023, Katie Hobbs took over Arizona and the Republican legislature had little stomach to fight her.
But finally, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, no doubt pushed by solid conservative Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, started to take action. He installed razor wire along a 30-mile stretch and set up a floating barrier, and he deserves enormous credit and our support for trying to save not only Texas — but the nation.
The Cowardice of Courts
Predictably, the Biden Department of Homeland Security, headed by Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, challenged Texas’ razor wire fence in federal court. While Abbott prevailed in the relatively conservative Fifth Circuit, on January 22, the Supreme Court sided with Biden and against the American People.
