Breaking News from Genesis: The Lord intends to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because “the outcry against them is so great and their sin is so grievous.”
Abraham pleaded for mercy, but failed. Should the innocents suffer the same fate as the guilty?
What innocents? Can you name even 10?
Today, can you find 10 innocent Gazans? Instead, they all share a brotherhood of wickedness. They are a satanic menace to anything we call civilization.
They don’t belong anywhere near Israel and finally the idea is beginning to sprout about them getting kicked out.
Thank Trump for putting it out there what many of us have been saying for years….me, you, and yes, Kahane.
But dear President Trump…when is all hell going to break loose? Yes, fire and hail. Hamas is dragging this out to enjoy the drama of our pain.
The Bibas family murders should be enough to bring down hell on earth upon their heads…today. A new level of depravity is upon all of humanity.
Saturday’s release of six hostages finds us and the world Grateful toward these monsters…a perfect study of Stockholm Syndrome that has gripped one and all.
Our expectations are so low that we’ll appreciate anything.
For Hamas, all this is a movie, where they get to play the part as heroes. How much longer until we lower the boom.
The time to act is now, while we have the world’s attention. Later, and the world will turn to other business.
Netanyahu says, ‘’We will settle accounts with them.”
When, Bibi? When all the hostages have been released? Don’t you know that they have plans all mapped out to do it again, and this time, will the look-outs be believed?
Were their warnings dismissed because they were women?
To these Arabs, money is not the means of exchange. Barter, to them, is hostage-taking. This is their industry, and gold to them is a captured Jewish baby.
When a murdered baby is handed back to Israel, as part of a parade that celebrates the murder, I wonder what Arabs around the world must be thinking.
After all, these Palestinian Arabs are their kin.
Do they feel shame?
Does Mohammed approve?
Two-state solution with these savages, and yet many of our people were ready to give it a try. I wonder if anything has been learned.
The Palestinian Arabs know our soft spot, and as in this instance, they play it to the hilt…how we cherish life. For a life, we will pay any price.
They know this, and they play on this.
But that does not make us pushovers. As proven time and again, when summoned, we are a nation of warriors.
But this enemy is ceaseless.
Mark Twain said…Jews are like horses. If they knew their own strength, we should be afraid to ride them.

The Child Murderers of Gaza Daniel Greenfield
Muslim terrorists did not murder the children as collateral damage. Killing children is the point. Op-ed.

Feb 23, 2025, 4:51 AM (GMT+2) Israel National News
“O God, do not be silent; hold not Thy peace, and be not still,” the Chief Rabbi of Israel prayed the words of Psalm 83 over the bodies of two murdered children, their mother and an old man.
Hamas and PLO terrorists had mockingly paraded their coffins to the cheers and jeers of Muslim men, women and children occupying Gaza while upbeat music played, they had mixed up the bodies, locked the boxes and then attached keys that did not work. After inspecting the coffins for explosives, Israel had covered them with its blue and white flag and prayed over them.
Islam is an honor-shame culture and to humiliate the bodies of the children of your enemies is to show the strength of Allah and jeering the bodies of murdered children shows the glory of Islam.
The celebration and mocking of the bodies of murdered children was not the work of some fringe group. Hamas took care to have every Islamic terrorist organization taking part in claiming victory, including the PLO’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades representing the ‘Palestinian Authority’ and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (Omar al-Qassim Brigades) popular on college campuses, as well as the Al-Ansar Brigades which has links to Al Qaeda.
There is no ‘Palestinian’ group that was not there to take its share of credit for the dead children.
The message being sent by the representatives of seven different Islamic terrorist groups in Israel carrying the coffins of their victims is of a united front committed to the destruction of Israel, and the killing of all non-Muslims to be followed by the creation of an Islamic theocracy.
Nor was the ghoulish scene some local ‘Palestinian’ phenomenon as people like to think.
Hamas is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood formerly ran Egypt and Tunisia, runs politics in Morocco, has legislators in Algeria and Libya, celebrated the takeover of Syria by its Al Qaeda allies, and dominates Muslim expat politics in America, Europe and around the West through groups such as CAIR, which celebrated the Oct 7 attacks, and the campus MSA.
The choreography and graphics for the hostage handovers allegedly came from Al Jazeera, Qatar’s state propaganda outlet, whose personnel have doubled as terrorists in Gaza. Qatar is a state sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood and funded its Hamas arm. Qatar’s ‘negotiations’ that led to the parade of coffins were meant to allow Hamas to claim victory.
Other state sponsors of Hamas include Turkey, Iran and Pakistan and non-Muslim allies like China and Russia which hosted unity meetings between Hamas and other Islamic terror groups.
What happened in Gaza was not the doing of a small ‘extremist’ group but the Islamic ideology of hundreds of millions of people in the Middle East and around the world. Including in the U.S.
The Bibas children, 9-month-old Kfir and 4-year-old Ariel, the ages at the time of their kidnapping while their ages at the time of death remain unknown, along with their mother, join a litany of other Israeli children and family members murdered by Hamas and Islamic terrorists.
On Oct 7, the Siman Tov family was murdered, including their twin 5 year old daughters and 2-year-old son Omer, their bodies burned.
The Kapshetar family, including 8-year-old Aline and 5-year-old Ethan were massacred while returning from a family trip.
9-month old Mila Cohen was shot in the arms of her father. Her 73-old grandmother was also murdered. A pregnant woman was shot on the way to the hospital. Dozens of other children were kidnapped or killed.
But October 7 was nothing new.
In 2001, a PLO terrorist sniper shot Shalhevet Pass, a 9-month-old girl, while she was sitting in her stroller in Hevron. Her father had been previously attacked with an axe and her aunt stabbed in the back as a teenager. The terrorist could have shot the parents. He picked a baby.
In 2002, a Muslim terrorist got as close as he could to the children at a Bar Mitzvah on a Sabbath in Jerusalem before he blew up. The dead included the Nehmad family, both parents and two of their daughters, 3 year old Liran and 7 year old Shiraz along with their 18 month old cousin, Oriah and her 12 old brother who had been sent by his father to get the car keys.
In 2004, Muslim terrorists massacred the Hatuel family, 2-year-old Meirav, shot in the head while in her car seat, 7-year-old Roni, 9-year-old Hadar, and 11-year-old Hila, along with their mother who was eight months pregnant with a never to be born baby boy.
In 2011, Muslim terrorists with the PFLP, a terrorist group active on American campuses, broke into the Fogel home on Shabbat, partially decapitated 3-month-old Hadas in her crib, stabbed 4-year-old Elad in the heart and killed 11-year-old Yoav. Two other children survived by hiding.
Hamas demanded and secured the release of the terrorists as part of the Biden-Witkoff hostage deal.
Hezbollah had demanded the release of Samir Kuntar who had smashed in the head of Einat Hanar, a 4-year-old girl, against a rock with his rifle butt. On his release, Iran’s government and Hezbollah honored him, the PLO praised him as an “authentic role model” and Al Jazeera’s Beirut office chief threw him a party and called him a pan-Arab hero.
Muslim terrorists did not murder these children as collateral damage. Killing children is the point.
In 2001, a Hamas terrorist attack on a Jerusalem pizza place saw “people – babies – thrown through the window and covered with blood” and survivors described “wading through bodies, including the bodies of children”.
“The worst thing I saw, which I think will haunt me all my life, is a baby that was sitting in a stroller outside a shop and was dead,” another eyewitness related. “After the explosion, the baby’s mother came out of the store and started screaming hysterically.”
One of the Hamas terrorists involved in the attack said, “We have to send them a message that their children are not safe.”
Another of the Hamas terrorists involved in the attack described her reaction while riding on a Muslim bus. “While I was on the bus and everybody was congratulating one another, they said
on the radio that there had been a martyrdom attack at the Sbarro restaurant, and that three people were killed. I admit that I was a bit disappointed, because I had hoped for a larger toll. Yet when they said ‘three dead,’ I said: ‘Allah be praised.’”
“Two minutes later, they said on the radio that the number had increased to five. I wanted to hide my smile, but I just couldn’t. Allah be praised, it was great. As the number of dead kept increasing, the passengers were applauding.”
The killing of Jewish children by Muslim terrorists predated the rebirth of Israel.
Almost 100 years ago, during the 1929 Hebron Massacre before there was even an Israel, Muslim mobs wiped out the Jewish community. The dead included children like Menachem Segal, 3, whose mother held him in her arms and begged the Muslim mob not to kill him. Menachem was stabbed in the head and his mothers’s fingers were cut off.
Why kill children?
“It is allowed for us to kill their women and children, even if that were to cause us to miss taking them as wealth (slaves), due to its breaking the hearts of the enemy.” Saudi Sheikh Ibn Uthaymin explained in a fatwa.
This was the Islamic fatwa Hamas was following in its celebration of its murder of children.
But the killing of children is the ultimate expression of the Islamic genocidal goal in Gaza. Peace was always a lie. The invading Islamic population was there to wipe out the Jews. Completely.
And not just the Jews.
Not long before the handover of the bodies of the Bibas children, a 2-year-old girl and her mother became the latest victims of the Muslim terrorist attack in Munich, Germany.
Last month the Muslim terrorist who stabbed eight little girls at a dance class in the UK, three of them fatally, pleaded guilty. One six-year-old girl was stabbed 122 times and another 85 times. The warrior of Allah stabbed the little girls while they ran for their lives.“It’s a good thing those children are dead, I’m so glad, I’m so happy,” he told authorities.
In Russia, Israel and Nigeria, Muslim terrorists have attacked schools and taken children hostage. They do this because Islam is in a war of extermination with the world.
Like all monsters, it preys on the weak, killing our children to wipe us out and replace us.
At the remains of the bodies of the Bibas children, the Chief Rabbi prayed, “O God, do not be silent.” We cannot know what G-d will do, but we are the ones who must not remain silent.

Babies in bandanas Ruthie Blum
The children of Gaza and the Palestinian Authority are raised on a steady diet of hatred in which their parents take part. Their heroes are bombers, not Batman. Opinion.
Feb 23, 2025, 4:00 PM (GMT+2) Israel National News – (JNS) Exactly seven months before their abduction on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah, Ariel and Kfir Bibas were photographed getting ready to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim—a particular favorite among children, since it involves parading around in costume.
The by-now famous snapshot shows the toddler and his baby brother each dressed up as Batman. Age three and a half at the time, Ariel must have been familiar enough with the comic-book superhero to request the get-up. As another widely circulated image illustrates, the whole family, including mother Shiri and father Yarden, wore Batman pajamas.
Two-month-old Kfir certainly wouldn’t have been able to appreciate the Purim outfit. But his doting parents clearly couldn’t resist cloaking him in the action figure’s garb for the cuteness of it all.
Little did they realize at the time that the whole world would come to know just how adorable these two little redheads in Batman bandanas were. Indeed, their faces have been etched in our hearts and minds since Oct. 7, 2023.
That was the day on which Hamas invaded southern Israel. With the gleeful help of average Gaza residents, thousands of Palestinian Arabs from the neighboring terrorist-infested enclave committed the worst atrocities against Jews since the Holocaust.
They slaughtered around 1,200 people, among them Shiri Bibas’s parents. They raped, stabbed, shot, burned and decapitated anyone and everyone they encountered, ultimately kidnapping more than 250 innocent Israelis and foreign nationals.
Yarden and Shiri, residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz—known for its peace activism and generous assistance to Gazans in need of work or medical treatment in Israeli hospitals—were among the latter. Bleeding from his wounds, Yarden was hauled off on a motorcycle by the barbarians who raided Nir Oz. He was released three weeks ago as part of the ceasefire deal.
During the 483 days of his captivity, he had no idea what had happened to his wife and sons. To add torment to torture, his captors told him that his loved ones were dead.
They then forced him, weeping, to tape a propaganda video. Upon his release from the tunnels of Gaza, he was told that there was still hope that Shiri, Ariel and Kfir were alive.
That hope was dashed when Hamas announced that their bodies, along with that of 83-year-old Oded Lifshitz, would be returned to Israel on Thursday morning. At the designated hour, four coffins were dragged to a stage over which was a Nazi-like placard of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Before the caskets were transferred to the Red Cross, masked Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Fatah operatives proudly basked in the cheering crowds of Palestinian Arab “civilians.”
These male and female jihad-lovers came out in droves, with children of all ages in tow, decorated in bandanas. Not ones with bat wings, of course. No, those had terrorist insignias. After all, their superheroes are “martyrs” for Allah. That’s who they are taught to glorify and emulate.
Following the horrifying display of joy over the dead Jews, the crowd dispersed and the coffins were transported back to Israel, a short car-ride—yet light years—away. Once past the border that separates hell from heaven, they were delivered to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute for autopsy.
Lifshitz was identified relatively quickly. It took several more hours before members of the extended Bibas family were informed of the even worse news than already expected.
The remains of the woman being examined did not belong to Shiri. Furthermore, Ariel and Kfir had been murdered in cold blood in November 2023, about three weeks after they were snatched.
“The terrorists did not shoot the two young boys; they killed them with their bare hands,” Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari revealed on Friday. “Afterward, they committed horrific acts to cover up these atrocities.”
Gasps could be heard around the country and beyond. Memories came flooding back of the footage of a terrified Shiri, clutching her babies for dear life, being ushered by Palestinian Arab “civilians” into a residence in Khan Yunis, never to be seen or heard from again. Until Friday night, that is, when Hamas deigned to return her actual body.
No mother in Gaza empathized with her fate. On the contrary, the women of the Strip continue to view her and her little ones as a perfectly legitimate target for sadistic abuse.
It’s in keeping with how they educate their children in the art—and skill—of savagery. It’s why so many Gazan youngsters continue to be taken to observe the nauseating hostage-return ceremonies aimed at a last hurrah of humiliation for the State of Israel.
Those children wear the headbands of one terrorist faction or another. You know, for the cuteness of it all.
Batman symbolizes the fight for justice. He stands for righteousness in the face of evil. His mission is to protect the innocent. To fight for the weak. To ensure that villains do not triumph over good.
This is what Israeli children grow up to admire. Heroes who defend, not attack. Warriors who sacrifice for the sake of others, not themselves. The IDF soldier who protects civilians at all costs. The paramedic who rushes to the scene of terror attacks, unarmed, to save lives. The firefighter who runs into flames while others flee.
Contrast this with the children of Gaza and the Palestinian Authority, who are raised on a steady diet of hatred encouraged by their mothers. Their heroes are bombers, not Batman. Mass murderers, not saviors.
This is the reality of a society governed by blood lust. It’s the result of rulers who use their people as human shields and ideological pawns, indoctrinating generations into believing that the path to paradise is paved with mutilated Jews. (And that does not excuse the Gazans one wit for not rejecting that indoctrination, ed.)
It’s high time for the Tribe, in Israel and abroad, to internalize this reality and realize that coexistence with heathen monsters is impossible. Anyone who has a temporary lapse in judgment on this score should remember what befell the Bibas family.

The Fantasy of Peace is over: Hamas must be eradicated Bryan E. Leib
The two-state lie is over. Let it be buried alongside the victims of Hamas’s barbarity, and may their deaths not be in vain. The people of Gaza had a chance to build a future in 2005, but they chose Hamas. Now they must live with the consequences. Opinion.
Feb 24, 2025, 3:48 PM (GMT+2) Israel National News – I write this with a heavy heart, still struggling to process the horror unfolding before our eyes as I watch the TV in the comforts of my condo in Florida.
We are all grieving for the Bibas family—innocent Jewish lives lost in the most brutal fashion imaginable. A mother, father, and their two young children, taken hostage by Hamas, were held in captivity for months, their fate uncertain. Yarden, the father, was released in January 2025 but now we know what happened to his family.
Black coffins filled with Jewish babies and their mother — innocent mother and children who were alive when Hamas kidnapped them, now returned in death—paraded through the streets of Gaza as trophies as Palestinian Arabs look on with smiles and cheers.
The sheer cruelty of this moment is unfathomable. There are no words strong enough to describe the depravity, the inhumanity, the unmitigated evil of Hamas and the people who celebrate their atrocities.
The illusion of a two-state solution is shattered. The world can no longer hide behind the comfortable fiction that this is a conflict between two sides seeking peace. This is not a territorial dispute. This is not about negotiations. This is about a death cult that thrives on Jewish suffering and destruction. This is about an ideology so perverse that it revels in the murder of infants.
The international community such as the United Nations and European Commission has spent decades pressuring Israel to make concessions, to take risks for peace, to give up land, to recognize Palestinian Arab claims. And Israel has tried. In 2005, Israel officially withdrew from Gaza, uprooting its own citizens in a desperate attempt to create space for peace. What did it get in return? Rockets, terror tunnels, and now, the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
Hamas, the Palestinian Arabs that elected them and its enablers in Tehran have proven, again and again, that they do not want peace. They do not want coexistence. They do not want a state alongside Israel; they want a state instead of Israel.
And the Palestinian Arab population that cheers for them, that raises their children to become suicide bombers, that hands out sweets when Jews are slaughtered—these are not innocent bystanders. These are active combatants in the perpetuation of hatred and bloodshed.
The world needs to understand: there will never be two states. There will only be one, and it is called Israel.
The notion of a “Palestinian state” is dead, buried under the weight of its own unrelenting jihadist violence and the thousands of Jews they murdered on October 7, 2023.
Hamas, and all who support them, must be eradicated. They should be given no quarter. They forfeited any claim to moral legitimacy the moment they danced on the corpses of murdered civilians. The land Israel ceded in good faith must be reclaimed. There can be no safe haven for terrorists. No illusion of peace with those who glorify genocide.
The tragedy of October 7th should have been a wake-up call, yet even now, too many in the West refuse to see the truth. The same international organizations that wring their hands over Israel’s right to self-defense are the ones who remain silent in the face of Hamas’s atrocities.
Where is the outcry for the Bibas family? Where is the global condemnation for the murder of innocent babies?
When Jewish lives are lost, the world looks away or worse, rationalizes the violence as part of a “cycle of conflict.” But this is not a conflict; this is a one-sided war waged by terrorists against a sovereign nation, a war against Jewish existence itself.
The evidence of Hamas’s genocidal intent is undeniable. Their own charter calls for the extermination of Jews. Their actions on October 7th were not about resistance; they were about bloodlust. They slaughtered women, children, the elderly—anyone they could get their hands on. They filmed their crimes, taking pride in their barbarism. And still, the so-called “human rights” organizations hesitate to label Hamas as what they truly are: monsters.
The response from Israel must be absolute. No more half-measures. No more ceasefires that allow Hamas to regroup. No more concessions that are met with rockets and kidnappings. The IDF must dismantle Hamas completely, root and branch. Every tunnel must be destroyed, every weapons cache seized, every terrorist eliminated. The people of Gaza had a chance to build a future, but they chose jihad. They chose Hamas. Now they must live with the consequences.
And the world must finally wake up. We are past the point of diplomatic hand-wringing, of empty calls for “de-escalation.” Israel is fighting not just for its survival, but for the very concept of civilization itself.
If we fail to recognize this, if we allow ourselves to be lulled into another cycle of appeasement and delusion, then we are complicit in the next massacre. There is no middle ground. There is no room for compromise. Evil must be destroyed. Full stop.
Israel – and the Jewish people – will endure, not because of international goodwill, but because it has no choice. And this time, the world must stand with it—not with useless resolutions or hollow sympathy, but with unwavering resolve.
The two-state lie is over. Let it be buried alongside the victims of Hamas’s barbarity, and may their deaths not be in vain.
May the memories of the Bibas family, and the thousands of Jews murdered by Hamas be a memory forever. We will never forget them. We will never stop fighting in their memory.
Am Yisrael Chai, always.

Trump Must Abandon the Disastrous Ceasefire Deal with Hamas by Con Coughlin
February 23, 2025 at 5:00 am
- Ever since Hamas launched its murderous assault on Israel in October 2023, Hamas leaders, together with their supporters in Qatar and Iran, have calculated that any outcome from the Gaza conflict that enables Hamas to remain in control of the enclave counts as a victory.
- This agenda for its long-term-client, Hamas, explains why Qatar, which claimed to be a neutral player during the ceasefire negotiations in Doha, has been so keen to oversee a deal that favours Hamas at the expense of Israel’s long-term security. This is the same country, after all, that helped to facilitate the deal with the first Trump administration that resulted in the return of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan.
- If Trump and Netanyahu are really serious about achieving lasting peace in Gaza, they must abandon the disastrous ceasefire deal — and especially the well-intended but painfully out-of-his-depth U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, who has mindlessly promoted it.
- Regrettably, Witkoff is on his way to wrecking Trump’s election triumph by equally disastrous negotiations in Ukraine, where the US is punishing the victim, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and rewarding the aggressor, Russian President Vladimir Putin. If Trump succeeds in torpedoing his month-old presidency, the blame goes to Witkoff.

Nothing better illustrates the dire shortcomings of the flawed ceasefire deal agreed between Israel and Iran-backed Hamas than the terrorist organisation’s despicable mistreatment of the Israeli hostages it has so far agreed to set free.
By far the most grotesque exhibition of Hamas’s contempt for the hostages was their handling of the handover of four Israelis murdered as a result of the October 7, 2023 attacks. Not only was the handover ceremony staged as a propaganda rally for Hamas, it later transpired that one of the slain hostage bodies was not that of Shiri Bibas, as had been agreed in the ceasefire deal. In addition, the Israeli authorities revealed that Bibas’s two sons, Ariel (four years old at the time of his abduction) and Kfir (9 months old), whose bodies were returned at the same time, had been murdered by Hamas, and not killed in Israeli airstrikes as the terrorist group had claimed.
Hamas’s shocking disrespect for the dead hostages prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare that Hamas would “pay the price for this cruel and wicked violation of the agreement.”
Hamas’s latest outrage is in keeping with their willingness to exploit the ceasefire agreement ever since the first Israeli hostages were freed following the implementation of the ceasefire deal last month. With every release, shocking details have emerged of the terrorist group’s unspeakable treatment of the surviving hostages that were seized during the October 7 terrorist attack against Israel, during which 1,200 Israelis were murdered and another 250 taken hostage.
Under the first phase of the ceasefire deal originally negotiated by the Biden administration, but implemented as then President-elect Donald Trump prepared to commence his second term as president, Hamas has agreed to release 33 hostages held in Gaza in return for Israel releasing hundreds of convicted Palestinian prisoners, many who are imprisoned for committing acts of terrorism.
Fears that Hamas would simply use the ceasefire deal as a propaganda opportunity have now been confirmed both by the terror group’s callous handling of the hostage releases, with many of the Israeli captives being forced to run the gauntlet of a baying Palestinian mob, as well as the chilling details that have emerged of their appalling treatment while in captivity.
In one of the more sickening episodes of Hamas’s carefully-choreographed hostage releases, four young Israeli female captives were paraded through the streets of Gaza in late January before finally being released.
More Israelis were outraged by the gaunt appearance of three hostages released earlier this month after it was clear they were suffering from severe malnutrition and had suffered significant weight loss while in captivity.
A British family member of one of the released Israeli hostages remarked that “It looks as though he’s been to Belsen,” Nazi Germany’s infamous concentration camp. Others denounced the “grotesque spectacle” of the hostage releases.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog posted on X shortly after the hostages’ release: “This is what a crime against humanity looks like!”
Details have also emerged since the release of the last batch of hostages last week of how they were routinely tortured while in captivity, with one of the released captives confirming that he was “tortured during interrogations” by Hamas terrorists and had the scars on his body to show for it.
Hamas’s cynical exploitation of the hostages’ release for its own propaganda purposes, which included presenting one of the hostages with an hourglass menacingly depicting the fate of another hostage who still remains in captivity, has already come close to ending the ceasefire, with Israeli officials accusing Hamas of violating the agreement.
While Israel has reluctantly agreed — for the moment — to continue with the ceasefire process, the prospects of it surviving beyond the first phase look increasingly remote amid deepening Israeli anger both at Hamas’s inhumane treatment of the hostages and its deliberate attempt to exploit the hostages’ release for its own propaganda purposes.
With the first phase of the ceasefire, which began on January 19, due to come to an end in two weeks’ time, the probability of it moving to the next phase looks increasingly unlikely the more the inherent flaws of the original agreement become apparent.
Netanyahu’s reservations about continuing with the ceasefire process have increased after Hamas terrorists regained control of Gaza once the agreement came into force.
Netanyahu has warned he is prepared to resume military operations against Hamas if the terror group does not release all the remaining hostages, warning that the “gates of hell” will be opened if they are not freed.
Netanyahu’s reluctance to persist with the ceasefire will have been boosted, moreover, by recent comments made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio after meeting with the Israeli premier. Rubio declared that Hamas cannot be allowed to continue as either a military or political force in Gaza.
“As long as it stands as a force that can govern or as a force that can administer or as a force that can threaten by use of violence, peace becomes impossible,” Rubio said after meeting with Netanyahu in Jerusalem. “It [Hamas] must be eradicated.”
Rubio’s comments follow Trump’s recently-announced plan for Gaza, in which he called on neighbouring Arab states to allow Gaza’s two million Palestinian inhabitants to relocate to their territory.
Rubio’s open disdain for Hamas, together with the terrorist organisation’s blatant disregard for the well-being of the Israeli hostages, must raise serious questions about whether the ceasefire in its current form is fit for purpose.
Any agreement that allows Hamas to reclaim control over Gaza, while at the same time being allowed to publicly humiliate the hostages when they are finally released, is clearly fundamentally flawed, and should not be allowed to proceed to the next stage.
A permanent ceasefire in Gaza would simply reward Hamas for carrying out the worst terrorist attack in Israel’s history.
Ever since Hamas launched its murderous assault on Israel in October 2023, Hamas leaders, together with their supporters in Qatar and Iran, have calculated that any outcome from the Gaza conflict that enables Hamas to remain in control of the enclave counts as a victory.
This agenda for its long-term-client, Hamas, explains why Qatar, which claimed to be a neutral player during the ceasefire negotiations in Doha, has been so keen to oversee a deal that favours Hamas at the expense of Israel’s long-term security. This is the same country, after all, that helped to facilitate the deal with the first Trump administration that resulted in the return of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan.
In such circumstances, Rubio and the rest of the Trump administration must accept that the ceasefire deal is deeply flawed and must not be allowed to continue.
If Trump and Netanyahu are really serious about achieving lasting peace in Gaza, they must abandon the disastrous ceasefire deal — and especially the well-intended but painfully out-of-his-depth U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, who has mindlessly promoted it.
Regrettably, Witkoff is on his way to wrecking Trump’s election triumph by equally disastrous negotiations in Ukraine, where the US is punishing the victim, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and rewarding the aggressor, Russian President Vladimir Putin. If Trump succeeds in torpedoing his month-old presidency, the blame goes to Witkoff.
Trump has graciously allowed Israel to achieve its stated objective to “open the gates of hell” if Hamas does not return all its hostages. Only then can the job of rebuilding Gaza really begin.

There is a persistent belief—particularly among Western observers—that Ukraine’s borders, as they stood on the eve of 2014, were somehow sacrosanct, immutable, a fixed reality of the international order. This view betrays a profound ignorance of history. The notion that any European border, let alone Ukraine’s, is beyond dispute ignores the repeated redrawings of maps, the frequent rise and fall of territorial claims, and the consistent reality of border changes through war, treaty, and political maneuvering. Ukraine, in particular, is one of the most illustrative examples of this broader historical phenomenon. If there is a European country whose borders could be considered permanently settled, Ukraine is not it.
The history of Ukraine’s borders is a history of shifting sovereignties. The land that today constitutes Ukraine has been contested ground for centuries, passing through the hands of empires, republics, and military occupations. Its territorial definition has been redrawn at least a dozen times in the last few hundred years, often at the whims of external forces. Its current borders, inherited from the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, are more of a historical accident than a product of some long-standing, organic national unity.
Consider the earliest configurations of the region. The medieval state of Kievan Rus, often cited as Ukraine’s foundational polity, was not a distinct Ukrainian entity but a loose federation of East Slavic principalities stretching from modern-day Belarus to Russia. It had no fixed borders in the contemporary sense, its influence waxing and waning with the strength of its rulers. When the Mongols sacked Kyiv in 1240, the remnants of Kievan Rus splintered, and control over Ukrainian lands shifted westward to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. By the late 14th century, most of Ukraine was under Lithuanian or Polish control, its borders dictated by dynastic marriages and military conquests rather than any intrinsic national identity.
The Union of Lublin in 1569 transferred most of what is now Ukraine from Lithuanian to direct Polish control, integrating it into the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. This arrangement lasted barely more than a century before the 1648 Cossack uprising against Polish rule created an autonomous Hetmanate in central Ukraine, a quasi-state that in turn sought the protection of Russia through the Pereyaslav Agreement of 1654. That agreement led, within a few decades, to Ukraine being partitioned along the Dnieper River between Poland and Russia—just one of many instances where Ukraine’s territorial fate was decided by external actors.
By the late 18th century, the collapse of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth resulted in yet another reconfiguration. The Russian Empire absorbed Right-Bank Ukraine, while the Austrian Habsburgs took control of Galicia, Bukovina, and Transcarpathia. At the same time, Catherine the Great expanded Russian control over southern Ukraine, annexing the Crimean Khanate in 1783. These changes laid the foundation for the Ukraine of the 19th century: a divided land, split between Russian and Austrian dominions, with no unified political existence of its own.
World War I and the Russian Revolution created another moment of flux. As the empires of Eastern Europe collapsed, multiple Ukrainian states were declared between 1917 and 1920—the Ukrainian People’s Republic, the West Ukrainian People’s Republic, even a short-lived Ukrainian Soviet Republic. But these fledgling entities were short-lived, crushed by Bolsheviks from the east and Poles from the west. The Treaty of Riga in 1921 formally divided Ukraine once again: western territories fell under Polish rule, while the east became the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, a constituent part of the USSR.
Even within the Soviet Union, Ukraine’s borders were not fixed. In the interwar period, the Ukrainian SSR lost some territory to the newly formed Moldavian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in 1924. In 1939, following the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, Soviet troops invaded eastern Poland and annexed western Ukraine, shifting the republic’s borders westward. In 1940, Northern Bukovina and parts of Bessarabia were taken from Romania and added to Ukraine. In 1945, Transcarpathia was transferred from Czechoslovakia to Soviet Ukraine. These expansions completed the territorial shape of what would become independent Ukraine in 1991—but they were hardly natural or inevitable.
The last major border adjustment before Ukraine’s independence was the 1954 transfer of Crimea from the Russian Soviet Republic to the Ukrainian SSR. At the time, this move was largely symbolic, an administrative shift within the Soviet Union with little consequence. But when the Soviet Union collapsed, Ukraine’s leaders insisted that the inherited Soviet boundaries should be the inviolable borders of the new state. That position—embraced by Western policymakers in the post-Cold War settlement—ignored the long history of border fluidity in the region and the tenuousness of Ukrainian sovereignty over territories that had never been definitively “Ukrainian” in any historical sense.
The events of 2014 and beyond fit into this broader historical pattern. Russia’s annexation of Crimea was not a sudden aberration but rather a return to a historical norm in which Ukraine’s frontiers were subject to external pressures and internal upheavals. The war in the Donbas, the contested status of Luhansk and Donetsk, and the shifting military lines in the current conflict all reinforce the reality that Ukraine’s borders—like those of much of Eastern Europe—are far from settled.
This does not mean that Ukraine’s sovereignty is illegitimate or that territorial integrity should not be defended. But it does mean that appeals to the supposed permanence of borders, as though they were some unchanging fact of nature, are fundamentally ahistorical. Ukraine, like Poland, Germany, and countless other European nations, has had its borders drawn and redrawn by the forces of history. To claim that they are now unchallengeable is to ignore centuries of evidence to the contrary.
Iran: To Talk or Not to Talk, That is the Question by Amir Taheri

- The talk party suggests that Iran should offer to freeze its nuclear program for two to three years, at the end of which it would decide which direction it should take.
- Those who market the above analysis assume that the US, and for that matter Israel, will stand by and see how the Iranian adversary bounces back from the edge of doom.
- Khamenei, who controls law and order forces, has put them on partial alert to nip any revolt in the bud. This is accompanied by a massive crackdown against potential dissidents, especially in Tehran, with reports of arbitrary arrests.
- All this does mean that the “Supreme Guide” isn’t prepared to perform another of his “heroic flexibilities” by accepting a deal with the “Great Satan” to sit out Trump’s four-year tenure, a game that led seven consecutive US presidents up the garden path, allowing the Islamic Republic of Iran to approach its golden jubilee.
Iran’s “Supreme Leader” Ali Khamenei, who controls law and order forces, has put them on partial alert to nip any revolt in the bud. This is accompanied by a massive crackdown against potential dissidents, especially in Tehran, with reports of arbitrary arrests. With the Trump administration sending conflicting signals about its intentions on dealing with Iran, the Iranian leadership is once again divided on how to respond.
One faction is trying to paint a grim picture in which the US will give Israel enough support to inflict a heavy defeat on Iran to complete the defeats already inflicted on Tehran’s allies in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. Such a humiliation will encourage the regime’s opponents both inside and outside the country to take to the streets and seize power while a demoralized Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will do what it did in Syria, that is to say, run for economic crisis cover to save its skin.
The same faction argues that the current economic crisis has sapped the will and energy of the regime’s dwindling support base, making regime change a real possibility for the first time.
So, how to negotiate such a dangerous bend of the road?
The faction’s luminaries, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, suggest opening talks aimed at preventing a war and allowing things to cool down.
But who should one talk to?
Talking to the US is supposed to be verboten according to “Supreme Guide” Ali Khamenei who cites a fatwa by the founder of the regime, Ruhollah Khomeini, to that effect, plus an act of the “Islamic Majlis,” the ersatz parliament that endorses the ban.
The answer is: the European trio of France, Germany and Great Britain, which coincidentally have bumpy relations with Washington.
The theory goes that the trio will welcome a diplomatic coup to restore part of the prestige they have lost because of President Donald Trump’s decision to exclude them from his Ukraine peace initiative and plans for the future of Gaza.
But what could one talk about without being forced to offer concessions that result in a massive loss of face?
The talk party suggests that Iran should offer to freeze its nuclear program for two to three years, at the end of which it would decide which direction it should take. Right now, Iran is spending vast resources on a program that has no obvious civilian or military use or justification.
In exchange, the European trio will use the mechanism provided by UN Security Council Resolution 3221 to avoid opening the path for taking military action against Iran. The above-mentioned resolution expires in October, making any unintended consequence a possibility. A deal with the Europeans could help ease pressure on Iran, inject some vitality in a moribund economy, and help prevent a massive popular revolt.
Those who market the above analysis assume that the US, and for that matter Israel, will stand by and see how the Iranian adversary bounces back from the edge of doom.
That analysis is opposed by the faction still totally loyal to Khamenei, who insists that any show of weakness could accelerate moves towards regime change. His advice is to stand firm and prepare for war. The first step is to build a war chest. This is done by reducing the supply of foreign currency to the market to allow the national currency to fall further. The currency which fetched $1 with 650,000 rials now needs 900,000.
This is a trick used by the Allies when they invaded and occupied Iran in World War II.
Because their expenditures in Iran were in the local currency, they forced a 50 percent devaluation of the rial.
Now used by Khamenei, that trick increases the state’s purchasing power while reducing the purchasing power of Iranian families, including the state’s military and civilian personnel. To partly compensate for that, the key personnel needed in a war are granted exceptional bonuses.
Khamenei, who controls law and order forces, has put them on partial alert to nip any revolt in the bud. This is accompanied by a massive crackdown against potential dissidents, especially in Tehran, with reports of arbitrary arrests.
All this does mean that the “Supreme Guide” isn’t prepared to perform another of his “heroic flexibilities” by accepting a deal with the “Great Satan” to sit out Trump’s four-year tenure, a game that led seven consecutive US presidents up the garden path, allowing the Islamic Republic of Iran to approach its golden jubilee.
Today, to talk or not to talk is a question not only for rival factions in Tehran but also for powers that, rightly or wrongly, are convinced that there could be no regional peace and stability without persuading or forcing what François Mitterrand called “le grand perturbateur” (“the big troublemaker”) to change or to be changed.

Lying by omission TIERNEY’S REAL NEWS
FEB 22, 2025
Most people still don’t know the sequence of events that really happened on J6. Here’s a reminder. I wrote this over 4 years ago on January 8, 2021 – two days after J6 happened – and it’s all pretty much been proven true.
1) Trump KNEW what the coup plotters were plotting on the 6th, so he arrived an hour late to the DC stage, where ONE MILLION Patriots stood before him, and talked longer than he intended, before he asked MAGA to walk peacefully down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol. He also didn’t walk or ride WITH them as he promised because he was told it was not safe. NONE of the Trump supporters were armed or dangerous or wearing costumes.
2) Pelosi, Pence & McConnell planned to start the joint debate & certification session early and expected Trump and his supporters to appear outside the Capitol just BEFORE they started when the chamber was empty. The plan was to unleash ANTIFA-BLM terrorists into the building and then BLAME Trump for the violence. Then they would arrest HIM for an armed insurrection. NOT kidding. I’ve reviewed thousands of pieces of evidence & it was all staged.
3) Pence would then call for Trump’s removal under the 25th amendment. What did Trump do? He had PRE-TAPED a message to the people asking for peace & asking them to go home and be safe. He delayed his speech so it ended well after the Feds breached the Capitol. Then he got on a plane and went to a secure location.
4) This explains why Trump did what he did on the 6th. Why he said, to the MILLION people before him, that he had “heard” bad things about what Pence was planning. When that plan failed, they called back Congress to finish debate & Biden’s certification but used most of that time to bash Trump. Again, part of the plan.
5) Rudy and another Constitutional lawyer, John Eastman, also explained to the crowd their plan to argue for a Constitutional delay. They had actually reached out to Senators and asked them to stick to the original schedule they promised to allow a complete debate – but they refused to respond. Then, Trump’s Twitter account was banned to remove his peaceful video – so they could say he was inciting violence and remove proof of his calls for peace. Facebook & Instagram followed.
PASTOR GREG LOCKE: “The Capitol was a set up from the word Go. The media is complicit by spreading totally false information. I was there. They are lying. We are watching the Left steal an entire Nation right before our very eyes.”
He’s right. There’s numerous videos of DC police LETTING people in the door – taking selfies with them – it’s like they were telling Trump supporters it was a tour and all were welcome. Meanwhile, BLM-ANTIFA terrorists were up front creating havoc and innocent people were unaware. They were only there for the cameras so the Deep State could use them as patsies.
6) At the same time, a sworn affidavit was received from an hacker who worked for an Italian defense contractor who works for the Deep State, who CONFESSED, under oath, that he had RIGGED the election against Trump. He had also testified in open court to the same. Also, DNI Ratcliffe finally released his report on foreign election interference & blamed China, Iran, Russia & more. Congress panicked & needed to bury both pieces of evidence that could derail the certification.
7) They finished up at 4am and half the Senate – who agreed to object – now did not do what they promised. There were no objections to Georgia, Nevada, Wisconsin or New Mexico as Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson & Josh Hawley promised. Even Rand Paul bailed. Things moved quickly – they conspired together to allow LITTLE evidence presented.
8) Pence allowed debate to start & stop & end, even though he had told the President that he couldn’t adjust the timing at all because it was sacrosanct & he must respect the process. In other words, it was a total set up against Trump & Pence refused to honor his sacred duties.
9) Then they began plotting the removal of President Trump again today. They ignored the shooting death of a female Trump supporter by a DC cop, they ignored evidence that BLM-ANTIFA incited the riots, they blamed racism, they VILIFIED both Trump & all of us. All part of the plan.
10) Pelosi & Schumer are both calling for Pence to remove Trump under the 25th. They’re passing around articles of impeachment that prevent the President from ever running for office again. Facebook & Instagram banned him for 2 weeks for no reason.
11) The media is calling for the immediate arrest of Trump, Giuliani & Eastman for insurrection. Big Tech is removing his product websites and corporations are calling to remove him from office. Police are holding residents at his hotels hostage against their will. And more…
12) This is the GREAT RESET. The NWO Communist takeover of the world. If they can do this to our President, imagine what they can do to you and me?
13-14) In my opinion, they are abusing their power to paint a good man who loves his country as a dangerous person. They are painting us all as evil monsters as well. Trump supporters aren’t the fringe GOP. We ARE the GOP and the party is OVER. None of us will EVER vote for the same failed GOP self-serving elitists that have worked hand in hand with the Democrats for the past 40 years to destroy everything good and pure about America while lining their own pockets and fleecing ours. It’s time for a new party. Our very SURVIVAL depends on it.
15) Let me add one more point about Pence & his authority in the chamber. John Eastman, one of the nation’s most respected Constitutional lawyers, told Pence that he the authority to reject illegal or unconstitutional electors in the swing states where two slates were given.
16) Many states WANTED to investigate their elections further but felt restrained by their Governors who wouldn’t allow them to call a session. They sent two sets of electors to alert Congress there was a dispute. Eastman told Pence he was ONLY allowed to accept legally cast….
17) electors that complied with the state legislature & Federal constitution. Since all the swing states did NOT comply, he could send them back to the state legislatures & ask them to investigate further & fix them. Pence agreed to do that early on — and then changed his mind.
18) Pence came back later & said “I don’t want to choose electors.” Trump told Pence he didn’t ask him to choose electors. He asked Pence to send BOTH slates back to the states & let THEM decide. Then Pelosi rewrote the rules at the last minute to give Pence a reason to break his promise! The truth is coming out that Pence & Paul Ryan & the Bush family WERE conspiring against Trump all along.
TRUMP: “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”
The real reason Barr was pushed out early was because Trump found out that Barr, along with a US Attorney & a Judge, were colluding to cover up evidence of a massive ballot harvesting scheme in Michigan – they had recordings proving it was happening & did nothing. Trump was shocked. THAT SHOWS YOU HOW FAR THEY WENT TO COVER UP THE FRAUD.
After Barr & Cipollone refused to file Trump’s Pennsylvania case before SCOTUS – which was based on proof that hundreds of thousands of ballots were cast illegally due to unambiguous Constitutional violations – Trump asked the AG of Texas to do so. As you know, SCOTUS declined to hear the Texas case based on “standing.” So, on December 23rd, Trump’s personal attorney, John Eastman, filed a request for an expedited hearing on the Pennsylvania case before SCOTUS.
SCOTUS kicked the can down the road and asked for responses from the Pennsylvania Secretary of State & other electoral offices on January 22nd – after the inauguration. That way they wouldn’t be interfering in the electoral process. The same thing happened with DNI Ratcliffe & the intelligence community. They withheld their report on foreign election interference until January 7th and Trump could NOT use his 2018 Executive order to delay the electoral college meeting on January 6th in Congress & sanction the coup plotters. Both of these actions neutered Trump’s ability to act.

I wrote that summary on January 8, 2021 (two days after January 6) from PUBLISHED SOURCES and posted it on my old website. I haven’t changed a word. Back then, I posted daily news updates for readers. After I posted my newsletter on Twitter on January 8, 2021, Twitter suspended my account, just like they did to President Trump. I did not return to Twitter (X) until 2022.
How could I, a simple citizen journalist, figure out the truth about J6 that fast – that the rest of the world did not? It would take almost 3 years, two impeachments, four indictments, 91 felony counts & an endless witch hunt for the rest of the fake news to catch up to what I learned in just two days. What’s wrong with that picture? That’s pretty much proof that the media LIE by omission as well as lying right to our faces – even the ones we are supposed to trust. That’s why I don’t trust any of them.
We must make sure this never happens again!
