February 29, 2024 – WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Supreme Court has failed to protect citizens from retaliation for observing or recording police activity in public. By declining to hear an appeal in Molina v. Book, the Supreme Court neglected to hold police accountable for firing tear gas from an armored vehicle at legal observers who were standing in the yard of one of their homes after lawfully and peacefully filming interactions between police and protesters.

If the COVID-19 debacle taught us one thing it is that, as Justice Neil Gorsuch acknowledged, “Rule by indefinite emergency edict risks leaving all of us with a shell of a democracy and civil liberties just as hollow.”
Unfortunately, we still haven’t learned.
We’re still allowing ourselves to be fully distracted by circus politics and a constant barrage of bad news screaming for attention.
Four years after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which gave world governments (including our own) a convenient excuse for expanding their powers, abusing their authority, and further oppressing their constituents, there’s something being concocted in the dens of power.
The danger of martial law persists.
Any government so willing to weaponize one national crisis after another in order to expand its powers and justify all manner of government tyranny in the so-called name of national security will not hesitate to override the Constitution and lockdown the nation again.
You’d better get ready, because that so-called crisis could be anything: civil unrest, national emergencies, “unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters.”
COVID-19 was a test to see how quickly the populace would march in lockstep with the government’s dictates, no questions asked, and how little resistance the citizenry would offer up to the government’s power grabs when made in the name of national security.
“We the people” failed that test spectacularly.

Day by day, tyranny is rising as freedom falls.
The U.S. military is being used to patrol subway stations and police the U.S.-Mexico border, supposedly in the name of national security.
The financial sector is being used to carry out broad surveillance of Americans’ private financial data, while the entertainment sector is being tapped to inform on video game enthusiasts with a penchant for violent, potentially extremist content, all in an alleged effort to uncover individuals subscribing to anti-government sentiments
Public and private venues are being equipped with sophisticated surveillance technologies, including biometric and facial recognition software, to track Americans wherever they go and whatever they do. Space satellites with powerful overhead surveillance cameras will render privacy null and void.
This is the state of our nation that no is talking about—not the politicians, not the courts, and not Congress: the government’s power grabs are growing bolder, while the rights of the citizenry continue to be trampled underfoot.

March 15, 2024 – This tectonic belt of volcanoes and earthquakes has the potential to cause lethal upheavals at any given moment.
Its destructive possibilities have been known for quite some time. In addition there is no way of knowing when it will activate and very little that can be done to mitigate its malign effects on countries and humans.
Basically, we are powerless in the face of nature’s destructive forces.
The Jewish People are no strangers to facing their own rings of fire, which over the millennia have erupted with devastating consequences in almost every part of the globe.
Unlike the unpredictable tremors generated by the forces of nature, the lethal shocks generated via pogroms, libelous lies and poisonous rhetoric are entirely predictable. While there is very little that can be done to prevent natural disasters, there is plenty that can be undertaken to prevent and thwart the tsunamis of vindictiveness against us.
It is necessary to first of all understand and recognize the root of the threats and then to take steps to deal with them in a timely manner.
Herein lies the dilemma we face these days.

While a Jewish actress was advised by the police not to leave the London theater besieged by pro-Hamas demonstrators, Jewish students fled from a university and an English MP revealed that he was threatened with being “burned alive” by Islamists, a protester who carried a banner reading “Hamas is terrorist” was arrested in London for holding a sign against Islamic fundamentalists, while pro-Palestinians walked past him.
Niyak Ghorbani was dragged to the ground and handcuffed by officers nearby during yet another pro-Palestinian march in London. As police held him down, Biyak shouted: “Shame on you.”
Interesting that Ghorbani is an Iranian exile in England, while it is the white woke who are pro-Hamas and radical Islam.
London, where 640 buses carry the insignia to the “glory of Allah”, has meanwhile become “a no-go area for Jews”, denouncing the UK Commissioner for the fight against extremism, Robin Simcox, who revealed a concerning rise in increasingly radicalised and organised anti-blasphemy activism in the UK..

Mar 14, 2024, 11:23 PM (GMT+2) – (JNS) With every day that passes, it becomes ever clearer that Western civilization is no longer civilized.
Israel’s war of defense against a genocidal enemy is an inflection point in the seismic battle between civilization and barbarism. The West is failing that test.
This was illustrated at the Oscars. Numerous Hollywood stars sported red pins supposedly backing a ceasefire in Gaza. The pin depicts the palm of an orangey-red hand on a red background with a black heart in the middle.
For some Israel supporters, this image channeled the infamous picture taken in 2000, when a Palestinian Arab terrorist involved in the savage lynching of two Israeli soldiers in Ramallah triumphantly displayed his two bloody palms to the frenzied mob.
The group that distributed the pin, Artists4Ceasefire, claims that the hand image “conveys the beautiful community of people from all backgrounds that have come together in support of centering our shared humanity” and that the heart is an “invitation for us to lead with our hearts.”
This asinine froth does not convince. The palm of a hand does not denote community; hand symbols are usually white, a heart is usually red and a red hand signifies a bloody one.
A black heart, meanwhile, commonly denotes evil. And the 2000 lynching involved ripping the heart out of one of the Israeli corpses and holding it exultantly in a Palestinian Arab hand.
Conversely, the image could have been reflecting the symbol used in countless anti-Israel demonstrations to signify that Israel has blood on its hands: A symbol that grotesquely paints the Israelis fighting to defend themselves against genocide as wanton killers of the innocent.
The Oscars ceremony also featured an attempt to transform Israeli suffering into Israeli oppression by Jonathan Glazer, director of the much-lauded Holocaust movie “The Zone of Interest.”
Standing with his two backers, Glazer said, “Right now we stand here as men who refute their Jewishness and the Holocaust being hijacked by an occupation which has led to conflict for so many innocent people.” The victims of the Oct. 7 pogrom and the inhabitants of Gaza, he said, were “all the victims of this dehumanization.”
His ignorance was staggering. Apart from no land being illegally “occupied” by Israel, the cause of the conflict is the century-old attempt by the Palestinian Arabs to eradicate the Jewish presence in the Land of Israel and then the Jewish state. And to accuse Israel of dehumanization, when it’s going to greater lengths than any other army in the world to minimize civilian casualties, was simply malevolent.
Far worse, though, was Glazer’s abuse of Judaism and the Holocaust to claim that Israel had hijacked both. He implied that Israelis were like Nazis and that their behavior went against Jewish principles.
This to describe a war caused by the worst atrocities against Jews since the Holocaust and Israel’s attempt to ensure that a second Holocaust does not happen again.
The obscenity of Glazer’s comments can scarcely be exaggerated. The belief that demonizing Israeli Jews somehow represents Jewish values is, however, a pathology that has twisted the minds of many liberal American Jews. It is being fed by a venomously distorted presentation of Israelis as child-killers in Gaza that’s being ruthlessly pumped out by Western media.
This accusation, of course, channels a paranoid antisemitic trope. It’s also based on Hamas propaganda claims that are patently untrue.
