Peace Now’s stand on US military aid to Israel   Moshe Phillips

It is a member of the Conference of Major Jewish American Organizations. What does that entail?  Op-ed.

May 21, 2024, 11:00 AM (GMT+3) – The decision by Americans for Peace Now to publicly endorse suspending U.S. military aid to Israel directly violates the promises it made in order to gain admittance to the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. It’s time for the Conference to reconsider Peace Now’s status.

When Americans for Peace Now (APN) applied for membership in the Conference of Presidents in 1993, some Jewish organizations were wary. They wondered whether the controversial group would be loyal to the pro-Israel consensus that the Conference represents.

Every member-organization in the Conference is entitled to its own opinions, on Israel and everything else. At the same time, the Conference stands for certain bedrock principles that all its members must support.

That’s why extreme anti-Israel groups have never been admitted. J Street’s application was rejected. The anti-Zionist Jewish Voice for Peace would never be welcomed. Neither would the anti-Zionist Neturei Karta.

Three of the Conference’s core principles are rejection of all Arab violence against Israel; support for an undivided Jerusalem under Israel’s sole control; and complete, unequivocal support for U.S. aid to Israel.

In their appeals to be admitted to the Conference, APN spokespeople repeatedly pledged that they would adhere to those positions.

“We are revolted by terrorism,” APN executive committee chair Shifra Bronznick insisted in a widely-circulated op-ed in March 1993.

But four years later, the official spokesman for APN’s parent body, the Peace Now movement in Israel, Mossy Raz, asserted that Palestinian Arab rock-throwing was “peaceful” and “legal” (even though rock-throwers have killed 16 people, including four Americans). Asked in that March 26, 1997 interview (with the news agency IMRA) if he defended rock-throwing at civilians, Raz responded, “Settlers are not civilians.”

Thus, in Peace Now’s view, it is legitimate for Arabs to try to stone, and therefore possibly murder, any Israeli who is a “settler,” that is, who lives beyond the old 1967 armistice line. That would include all Jewish residents of the Old City neighborhood of Jerusalem, as well as other sections of Israel’s capital, such as French Hill and Ramot.

Shifra Bronznick, in that same 1993 op-ed, wrote: “To assert that APN is at odds with the organized Jewish community on the issue of Jerusalem is false.” But in the years to follow, APN repeatedly took positions that were at odds with American Jewry on Jerusalem.

APN opposed the relocation of America’s embassy to Jerusalem. APN called U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital “a grenade.” APN’s co-chair wrote an article opposing what she called “total Israeli hegemony” in Jerusalem. APN denounced the Jewish National Fund for developing the Jewish community in Jerusalem’s Silwan neighborhood. APN used the term “Judaization” to describe Jews living in some sections of Jerusalem. APN directly defied a Conference of Presidents policy to refrain from meeting PLO officials in the Orient House building in Jerusalem.

In 1993, when APN was seeking admittance to the Conference, APN officials repeatedly insisted that they fully supported the Conference’s position backing full U.S. aid to Israel.

APN’s then-president, Gail Pressburg, told The Forward that her organization “supported [U.S.] foreign aid to Israel.” Pressburg told the interviewer that she “denies that she has ever supported a cut in annual U.S. military and economic aid to Israel.” Pressburg further claimed that she resigned from another organization’s advisory council when that group “began advocating a cut in aid to Israel.”

And in her aforementioned 1993 op-ed, Shifra Bronzick emphasized that APN completely and unequivocally supported “[U.S.] aid to Israel.”

Yet in its May 9, 2024, APN declared: “Americans for Peace Now supports President Biden’s decision to cease sending offensive weapons to Israel…”

APN gained admittance to the Conference of Presidents. Its admittance was predicated on its declared support for the Conference’s positions on terrorism, Jerusalem, and U.S. aid to Israel. APN has now broken all three of those pledges.

Perhaps it is time to reopen the question with APN of whether it is qualified to be a member-organization of the Conference of Presidents.

Bibi’s Plan for a Post-War Gaza    by Jonathan Spyer
May 18, 2024 The Spectator – Sharp differences within Israel’s governing coalition have emerged into the open in recent days. On the face of it, the dispute centres on preferred post-war arrangements in Gaza. But the rival stances also reflect underlying, contrasting views concerning the conduct and aims of Israel’s now eight-month long military campaign in the Gaza Strip.

The divisions have begun to receive attention in recent days because of Defence Minister Yoav Gallant’s public statement criticising the government for ‘indecision’ regarding the ‘day after’ in Gaza. But the dispute is not new. Gallant has for months been advocating in cabinet for a plan his ministry has developed, concerning how Gaza will be governed after the war. Details of this plan were published in March. It envisages the establishment of a self-governing authority in Gaza, assembled with the involvement of five to seven thousand Gazans loyal to the Ramallah Palestinian Authority. Israel would maintain freedom of action in the area of security, as it does in the West Bank. The list of Gazans to be involved in the plan was assembled with the assistance of Majed Faraj, the PA’s intelligence chief. The plan was envisaged to be implemented in stages. Israel would establish safe zones in areas of Gaza that it conquered. The new authority would then begin to operate in these areas, which would gradually be expanded.

Israeli media reported in March that Netanyahu rejected this plan. For his part, the prime minister and his supporters dismiss the notion of establishing any post-war arrangement until Hamas’s military capacity is destroyed. National Security Adviser Tsachi Hanegbi, in a recent interview with Israel’s Channel 12 news, noted that the allies did not set up a post-war government in Germany in World War 2 until the Nazi regime’s army had been defeated in its entirety.

Gallant, in his public statement, expressed concern that the current ‘indecision’ was leading to a ‘dangerous’ course that could result in ‘Israeli military and civilian governance in Gaza.’ Netanyahu, in response, declared that he would not allow a role for the Palestinian Authority in a post Hamas Gaza. He would not, he said, replace ‘Hamastan’ with ‘Fatahstan.’ (Fatah is the ruling party in the Palestinian Authority).

An interesting point to note in this exchange is that both Gallant and Netanyahu appear to be attacking straw men.

Netanyahu accuses Gallant of seeking to return the Palestinian Authority to Gaza. But the Defence Minister’s plan appears designed precisely to avoid any direct governing role for the Ramallah authority.

Gallant, meanwhile, accuses Netanyahu of seeking to establish a new Israeli military administration in Gaza. The defence minister finds the notion of Israeli military governance in Gaza to be ‘dangerous.’ But it is difficult to see how his own plan could be implemented without at least a preliminary period in which Israeli forces become the de facto governing force in the Strip.

Deception and misinformation are insidious weapons   Dr. Shmuel Katz

Ongoing brainwashing by bad operatives may destroy the stability of society.

(May 19, 2024 / JNS) – It is more and more difficult to attend college or university without being exposed to malicious educators and others who are willing to advance their own agenda at the expense of their students.

The recent anti-Israel turmoil at multiple universities in the U.S. and elsewhere is only a symptom of many years of ongoing indoctrination that is being ignored. Recently, there were alarms sounded about the indoctrination of students in K-12 classrooms in multiple U.S. states.

However, having that many organizations means they are not delivering the same message nor addressing the same problems in systematic and repetitious ways. We know from the science of commercial marketing that if we want people to remember, identify and, ultimately, buy a product, they will have to hear messages multiple times and in different ways. Thus, sharing well-documented, similar, valuable, basic and relevant information from different sources significantly amplifies the effectiveness of these messages. It hopefully results in reaching and convincing more people to act in their own interest by exposing and marginalizing evil.

The Real Hand Controlling the White House is in a PANIC   [4:41]   Chanel Rion

April 22, 2024  (Chanel Rion OAN) –  Obama’s Third Eye in the White House is THIS man. Jake Sullivan. He’s calling the shots… He is why Iran/Hamas attacked Israel. Now he’s panicking. And in Chanel Rion’s words, he should be investigated for treason.

Does anyone realize what a great miracle we saw today?  by Alan Silver.

We have a young Jewish man sitting in jail, waiting to be executed. The whole Jewish world is in an uproar and doing what one can to save his life. May thousands of books of tehillim are being said in our plea for an answer from the Almighty that could save the young man’s life.

I heard of Jewish Iranian communities declaring a fast in the search for favour in Hashem’s ‘eyes’, that the judgment should be changed, and the life of this young Jewish  man would be saved.

Every stone was turned to get a change of this death sentence hanging over his head.

His original date for execution was on Shabbos,  but that was changed to Monday.

Sunday morning,  the President of Iran Raisi and his foreign minister go to Azerbaijan for a ceremonial opening of a big new lake. They spend a few hours there and are treated like kings there.

Towards the late afternoon, they decided to return to Iran. The weather was changing fast, but they went ahead with returning as planned.

Three helicopters took off with the entourage to start their journey. The weather very quickly changed for the worse and before they knew what was happening,  they found themselves in severe weather, with high winds, very heavy rains and zero visibility.

Two of the helicopters managed to get through and return to an Iranian airforce base, but Raisi’s helicopter became disoriented and tried go land in zero visibility.  The plane crashed on landing and Raisi and the Foreign Minister and it seems that they were  killed in the very heavy landing.

Now, what do we see from this story?

The whole Jewish world were praying that the young Jewish man would be saved from execution. And what do we see? That the person that would sign the death warrant for the young Jewish man would be President Raisi, and now he was mysteriously killed in a helicopter accident.  There is right now, no-one to sign the death warrant.

We must still continue to pray with all our hearts until a final redemption happens and that he will be released to go home to his family.

I hope that the world will learn and see, that to start up with the Jewish people unjustly,  will be at a very high cost. We Jewish people are Hashem’s people and our Father that runs the world. If we children behave and do as He wants and expects us to do, there are no limits to his help for His people.

The more love and obey His Torah, the more we see just what the Almighty will do for us, His children.

[Ed.:  The Irani People are celebrating in the streets saying “Happy Helicopter Day”!!]

If Raisi Is Dead: Implications for the Islamic Republic of Iran   by Shay Khatiri
May 19, 2024 (Middle East Forum Observer) – State media report that a helicopter carrying Iran President Ebrahim Raisi had a “hard landing” amidst bad weather. Rescue teams reportedly are struggling to reach the mountainous and forested site. Raisi was returning from a visit to the Iran-Azerbaijan border. If Raisi is dead or incapacitated, there will need to be an emergency succession in Iran.

How Would Presidential Succession Occur?

Raisi’s demise, if confirmed, would not be the first death of a sitting Iranian president, In 1981, the Mojahedin-e Khalq of Iran assassinated President Mohammad-Ali Rajai. The Islamic Republic’s constitution simply states that when a president dies, a new president “would be chosen.” In 1981, authorities called a new election but, in 1989, an amended constitution gave the Supreme Leader, currently Ali Khamenei, further power to decide. Under the current constitution, there is no mandate for a new election. If the president is dead or unable to perform his duties for longer than two months, the first vice president, the speaker of the parliament, and the chief justice, with the consent of the Supreme Leader, form a council to choose the succession mechanism.

CHAPTER 19: From Sex Education to Sexuality Education   by Linda Goudsmit
Space Is No Longer the Final Frontier—Reality Is (forthcoming release June 2024)
May 19, 2024 – Globalism is a replacement ideology that seeks to reorder the world into one singular, planetary Unistate, ruled by the globalist elite. The globalist war on nation-states cannot succeed without collapsing the United States of America. The long-term strategic attack plan moves America incrementally from constitutional republic to socialism to globalism to feudalism. The tactical attack plan uses asymmetric psychological and informational warfare to destabilize Americans and drive society out of objective reality into the madness of subjective reality. America’s children are the primary target of the globalist predators.

UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, is a specialized agency of the United Nations and a member of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG), a coalition of thirty-six UN funds, programs, specialized agencies, departments, and offices aimed at fulfilling UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The SDG is defined as “a collection of seventeen interlinked objectives designed to serve as a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.”

Let’s look at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs Sustainable Development website and examine the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN planetary 2030 Agenda. The UNSDG mission headline is Transforming our world: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.[i] The 17 Goals are item number 59 on the 91 listed items in the UNSDG Declaration.

Sustainable Development Goals

  • Goal 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
  • Goal 2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
  • Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
  • Goal 4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
  • Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
  • Goal 6. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
  • Goal 7. Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
  • Goal 8. Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all
  • Goal 9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
  • Goal 10. Reduce inequality within and among countries
  • Goal 11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
  • Goal 12. Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
  • Goal 13. Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*
  • Goal 14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development
  • Goal 15. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss
  • Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
  • Goal 17. Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development

* Acknowledging that the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is the primary international, intergovernmental forum for negotiating the global response to climate change.

Item 91, the closing statement of the Declaration, confirms that the United Nations Sustainable Development Group 2030 Agenda is a planetary mission to fundamentally transform the entire world into its own vision of a better world. Agenda 2030 is a supremacist replacement ideology on a planetary scale:

We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to achieving this Agenda and utilizing it to the full to transform our world for the better by 2030.

Agenda 2030’s lofty language appeals to emotion, the desire to help people around the world. It is the bait. The next two items after the 17 Sustainable Goals, items 60 and 61, reveal the switch. Full implementation of Agenda 2030 requires “a revitalized and enhanced Global Partnership” and “the means required to realize our collective ambitions.” The price of full implementation is the surrender of individual agency and national sovereignty to the agencies and authority of the United Nations. Compliance is the universal objective of Agenda 2030.
