NOV 15, 2023 – News of the day: “Gargling with salt water really CAN ward off Covid, new study suggests” (Daily Mail, 2023.11.15):
In a study presented last week, researchers measured the effect of gargling and nasal rinsing with a saline solution on symptoms and hospitalization rates in patients with Covid. They found hospitalization rates for people who gargled or nasal rinsed salt water were up to 40 percent lower than those who did not.
Between 2020 and 2022, the team evaluated 9,398 adults between 18 and 65 years old who had tested positive for Covid via a PCR test. Of those, 58 were selected to follow either a low-dose or high-dose saline regimen mixed with eight ounces of warm water.
The low-dose regimen was 2.13 grams of saline – about one-third a teaspoon – and the high-dose was six grams – about one and one-quarter a teaspoon. Participants gargled and did nasal rinsing four times a day for 14 days.
The control group that hadn’t been instructed to gargle salt water or nasal rinse had a 58.8 percent hospitalization rate. The hospitalization rate for participants on the low-dose regimen dropped to 18.5 percent, and the rate for the high-dose group was 21.4 percent. This was up to 40 percent lower [sic!] than the control group .
“Up to 40 percent lower”, really? “O ye of little faith!” If saline were a vaccine, we’d follow this rule to quantify it’s effectiveness:

Pilot warns of airline industry disaster due to COVID-19 Vaccines

CAPTAIN Shane Murdock says the air industry is ‘poised on the precipice of disaster’. A pilot for more than 40 years and a qualified air accident investigator, he has found official data that back up his claim of impending global catastrophe. He adds: ‘When correlated, the data indicate there is an enormous problem that is having, and will have, a significant impact on aviation safety worldwide. There is enough evidence to be sending out red flags.’
There have been many tragedies this year. Phil Thomas, a young graduate of the Cadiz, Spain, flight training academy, fell ill and died suddenly in April. There were five pilot incapacitations in March including a British Airways pilot who collapsed and died in Cairo, Egypt not long before he was due to fly.
Pilots are super-fit, so why are so many dying suddenly or collapsing? Cpt Murdock concludes they are suffering severe adverse reactions to the Covid-19 vaccinations, which has myocarditis (heart inflammation), brain fog, insomnia, blood clots and anaphylaxis as side effects.
He thinks some pilots are ticking timebombs and claims many are not declaring ill-health. He said: ‘They are not reporting brain fog, heart flutters and dizzy spells because they don’t want to lose their jobs.’
Aviators have comprehensive annual health checks, or six-monthly if they have been ill. Rules state they can pass only with a less than 1 per cent chance of suffering an illness that could incapacitate them.
How are they passing medicals if they are suffering serious adverse reactions? Last year the global aviation regulator, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), changed the electrocardiogram (ECG) markers that measure the ‘PR interval’. This is the time it takes for an electrical impulse to travel from one part of heart to another and is an indicator of heart health. The new limit is 50 per cent longer than the previous limit, and means that if a pilot has developed a heart condition, it could slip past.
[Ed.: In my not very humble opinion, the same danger is present on our roads. All drivers should remain conscientious of this while driving! If pilots are “ticking timebombs”, so too are vaccinated people who drive! Just sayin’.]

NOV 16, 2023 – Why to do many people feel sick nowadays? A recent study from India suggests the COVID-19 vaccine is causing prolonged symptoms in over half of unwary recipients.
Shrestha and Venkataraman published a study of data collected from September 2021 and May 2023, in a descriptive, follow-up cohort study that was conducted, having enrolled participants who were 18 years of age or older, met the vaccination requirements established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and had completed the primary immunization series with the AZD1222® (adenoviral) or BBV152® (whole-virion inactivated vaccine). The prevalence of post coronavirus vaccine syndrome (PCVS) and the QoL measured using EQ-5D-5L were assessed at 1 month, 6 months, and 12 months post-COVID-19 vaccination.

Until I was about thirty, I walked around with the smug assumption that the United States was free from the bribery and graft that I heard about while traveling in Mexico and various African countries. Peter Doshi—senior editor at the BMJ and associate professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy—just published a report titled The FDA and Moderna’s cosy relationship: how lax rules enable a revolving door culture in which he recounts how two senior FDA officials who played substantial roles in approving Moderna’s COVID-19 shot later got jobs working at Moderna.
The two officials noted in Doshi’s report—Dr. Doran Fink and Dr. Jaya Goswami—are merely the latest in the revolving door between the FDA and the Big Pharma companies its officials are supposed to regulate. The near-global ignoring of the evidence supporting corticosteroid treatment in the hospital phase of Covid is what led to the initial historically unprecedented mortality rates. It wasn’t the vents.
NOV 15, 2023 – In Part 1 of this three part series triggered by Elon Musk’s comments on mechanical ventilation :), I argued that the unprecedented mortality rates observed with mechanical ventilation was almost completely due to the lack of effective treatments being offerred rather than the use of the ventilators alone.
In this post I will review all of the evidence that we had in the Spring of 2020 to supported the FLCCC’s recommendation to treat patients in the hospital phase of Covid with corticosteroids.
The problem we in the FLCCC had in 2020 with getting the world to use corticosteroids in the hospital phase were many (first is that we were not as well known then as we would later become when Paul Marik unwittingly launched us into the global war on ivermectin :). Anyway, at the time:
- Most physicians believed that anything immunosuppressive would worsen the body’s “ability to fight off the virus” because, you know, it was a viral pneumonia (not). The fact that there was no live virus in the hospital phase of the disease showed this to be a tragic error borne of ignorance when estimating the risk of corticosteroids (I know, I know, there were no “errors” but this was the “consensus” thinking at the time by the average physician on the ground, even before medical propaganda was being issued in a torrent from the high-impact medical journals).
- The above was compounded by the fact every national and international health care organization was recommending against corticosteroids at the time (purportedly for the same reason).
- I was unable to rapidly publish my paper which argued that Covid-19 pulmonary disease was not a viral pneumonia and was instead a form of lung injury called “organizing pneumonia” (i.e. not infectious), whose first line treatment is corticosteroids. 5 journals and 6 months later, it was published in BMJ Open Respiratory Research.

TOO LATE: US Army Removes COVID Vaccine Requirement for Recruits Following Historic Low in Recruitment Since 1973 By Jim Hᴏft
Nov. 16, 2023 12:40 pm – The United States Army has removed the COVID-19 vaccine requirement for new recruits.
The Army’s recruitment challenges have been mounting in recent years, exacerbated by the stringent COVID-19 vaccine mandates that were previously in place.
Recruiting has been hampered by COVID-19 vaccine requirements as well as an increasingly woke military atmosphere where trans soldiers are give special privileges while Christian soldiers are persecuted, bases host drag shows, and leaders with a history of anti-white statements are hired.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin mandated the experimental COVID-19 vaccine for all military personnel on August 24, 2021, and like thousands of others across the Department of Defense (DOD).
In March 2022, the U.S. Army joined the other branches of the US military in their efforts to purge the ranks of all vaccine dissenters and announced the separation of three soldiers who refused to take the experimental jab. This is the first time the military branch has discharged soldiers over the mandate.
Also included in this initial round of cuts were six Army leaders who were stripped of their ranks, including two battalion commanders. There were also over 3,250 citations handed out to soldiers who are still refusing to comply with the mandate, according to a US Army statement released on March 18th.
In June 2022, up to 40,000 Army Guard troops are still unvaccinated, and at least 7,000 are at risk of being dismissed after refusing to take the experimental COVID-19 vaccine as the deadline for shots looms.
“According to data obtained by The Associated Press, between 20% to 30% of the Guard soldiers in six states are not vaccinated, and more than 10% in 43 other states still need shots,” the news outlet reported.
In July 2022, nearly 40,000 Army National Guard personnel who refused to take the experimental COVID-19 vaccine after the deadline will be barred from participating in federal training and may face financial fines or possible expulsion.
“Beginning July 1, 2022, members of the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve who have refused the lawful DOD COVID-19 vaccination order without an approved or pending exemption may not participate in federally funded drills and training and will not receive pay or retirement credit,” Army said in a statement.
According to authorities from the National Guard who spoke with CBS News, 14,000 of the more than 40,000 members of the Guard who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 have said that they have no plans to obtain the vaccination in the future.
Soldiers who remain unvaccinated will miss weekend drills and lose their competency, which might lead to dismissal.
“Soldiers who refuse the vaccination order without an approved or pending exemption request are subject to adverse administrative actions, including flags, bars to service, and official reprimands. In the future, Soldiers who continue to refuse the vaccination order without an exemption may be subject to additional adverse administrative action, including separation,” Army said.
“As of June 30, The Army National Guard is at 89% vaccinated with one dose and 87% fully vaccinated. The Army Reserve is at 89% vaccinated with one dose and 88% fully vaccinated.”
In October 2022, military leaders announced they would be lowering their recruiting goal for the Army from 476,000 to about 466,000. Despite lowering this goal, the U.S Army is reporting it will miss recruiting goals for the year by 15,000 soldiers, or 25% of the goal.
The U.S. Army’s 2022 recruiting year was its worst since the end of the draft in 1973. The Army missed its goal of 60,000 new soldiers by approximately 25 percent.
According to Army Times, “The Army fell about 15,000 soldiers — or 25% — short of its recruitment goal this [2022], officials confirmed Friday, despite a frantic effort to make up the widely expected gap in a year when all the military services struggled in a tight jobs market to find young people willing and fit to enlist.”
The current fiscal year is likely to be even worse. The shortfall forced the Army to cut its planned active-duty end strength from 476,000 to 466,000, but according to the War on The Rocks outlet, “Army officials project that active end strength could shrink by as much as 20,000 soldiers by September, down to 445,000. That means that the nation’s primary land force could plummet by as much as 7 percent in only two years — at a time when its missions are increasing in Europe and even in the Pacific, where the Army provides many of the critical wartime theater enablers without which the other services cannot function.“
In February 2023, Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth issued a memorandum that rescinds all policies associated with the DOD COVID-19 vaccination mandate.
Now that Biden’s vaccine mandate for the U.S. Military has been lifted, members who were discharged for refusing the vaccine can rejoin the service.
It’s not working out too well. Out of the 8,000 people who were discharged, only 43 have rejoined.

CDC Reports Record High in Childhood Vaccine Refusals By Jim Hᴏft
Nov. 10, 2023 8:30 am – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported a startling trend: a record high in childhood vaccine refusals.
According to the CDC’s latest findings, 3% of children entering kindergarten during the 2022-2023 school year were granted vaccine exemptions by their states.
This figure, though seemingly small, is the highest ever recorded in the U.S. and represents a significant increase from previous years.
The trend is not isolated to a few states; 40 states witnessed a rise in exemptions, with ten states reporting exemption rates soaring over 5%: Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, and Wisconsin.
Idaho stands out in this report, with over 12% of its kindergarten population having a vaccine exemption.
