Food shortages will increase in 2023: here are the top 13 most likely products to show scarcity   by: Ethan Huff

Thursday, January 26, 2023 – (Natural News) The supply chain and inflation problems felt in 2022 could still intensify in 2023, particularly in the food sector.

Extreme weather and drought, labor shortages, and other factors threaten to make the following 13 food items difficult to find this year. (Related: Last May, the Bank of England warned that “apocalyptic” food shortages are soon to come.):

1) Beef: According to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) estimates, the average American will consume 5.6 percent less beef in 2023 compared to 2022 – this being the steepest decline in 40 years. Drought conditions and high costs are blamed for this expected shortage.

2) Lettuce: Unseasonably warm weather, according to the Grower-Shipper Association of Central California, could make leafy greens in shorter supply this year, as could the spread of crop diseases like Impatiens Necrotic Spot Virus (INSV).

EU green-lights two new insect species for use as FOOD – by Ethan Huff

Thursday, January 26, 2023 – (Natural News) Two more bug species are now allowed in food throughout the European Union: Acheta domesticus, also known as the house cricket, and Alphitobius diaperionus, also known as the lesser mealworm.

The EU gave the green light this week for citizens of member countries to eat these creepy critters as food. This aligns with the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) plan to phase out meat consumption for commoners, who are to be turned into human-like cattle owned and controlled by the “elite” globalists.

Mealworms can now be frozen, processed as paste, dried, or turned into powder for use in commercial food items. The same goes for house crickets, which are the globalists’ preferred form of protein for their subjects.

In a press release announcing these two new approvals, EU leaders emphasized that it is still “up to consumers to decide whether they want to eat insects or not.” These bug-based options serve as an “alternative source of protein” when meat, which is becoming more expensive and harder to get, is unavailable or unaffordable.

Tractor Supply Chicken Feed Reportedly Causing Egglaying to Stop, Board has Ties to WEF, Jeffrey Epstein   By Ben Wetmore

January 25, 2023 at 10:00am – Online claims have emerged, corroborated by others, that the popular “Producer’s Pride” chicken feed sold by the Tractor Supply chain has been recently altered and that its new formulation is causing chickens to stop laying eggs. Some suggest a deliberate reduction in the amount of protein in the feed may be causing the reduction in egg production.

Let’s hope this isn’t true. But anything is possible these days. pic.twitter.com/T1pxiW5rw8

Hens do lay fewer eggs in the winter time due to reduced sunlight. Farmers have often used a light to expose hens to longer light so as to produce more egg-laying. Yet farmer sources report that they are seeing a much-greater-than-normal reduction in egg production, to the point where many report that hens are laying zero eggs instead of merely a reduced laying frequency. There is no word on whether this is a temporary or a permanent change among Tractor Supply feed.

This news comes as chicken and egg prices reach historic highs, caused in part by Avian Flu, but also as rampant inflation under the Biden regime causing prices to erratically jump among suppliers and subsequently among common consumer products. Egg prices have gone from $1.71 per dozen 18 months ago to an average over $7 per dozen today.

Not all hen layer feeds seem to be affected. In a quote to the Gateway Pundit, spokeswoman for Nature’s Best Organic Feeds Courtney Price said, “there have been absolutely no changes to our premium feed formulas” and that they have not heard any customer criticisms or complaints about their non-GMO chicken feed products. Price continued, “We pride ourselves here at Kreamer Feed on premium nutrition for animals nationwide, and all of the products in our organic, non-GMO brand Nature’s Best Organic Feeds line is no exception.”

Potash supply crunch likely to continue despite efforts to increase global production   by Roy Green

Monday, January 23, 2023 – (Natural News) The potash supply crunch is likely to continue despite efforts to jack up its production worldwide due to concerns over food security this year.

Brazil Potash, a mining company engaged in the extraction of the major fertilizer component in the Amazon region, made this assessment even as it tries to help meet industry demand. According to Brazil Potash CEO Matt Simpson, protectionism from some countries led to tightening fertilizer supplies last year, affecting the food supply that is likely to remain unstable early this year.

Russia’s protracted special military operation in Ukraine has compounded the delicate fertilizer situation, with about 42 percent of the global potash market impacted by it thus far.

Bill Gates Invested In Artificial Eggs a Decade Before Egg Shortage    By Anthony Scott

Published January 24, 2023 at 6:45am – Per the Consumer Price Index, egg prices have spiked 66% percent since last year.

People around the globe have found themselves paying more for eggs at stores due to over 41 million egg-laying hens dying from the avian flu.

In response to the shortage of eggs, some people have turned to artificial plant-based eggs.

Back in 2013, Bill Gates invested in Hampton Creek the company that brought artificial plant-based eggs to the mainstream.

Shortly after investing, Gates would soon praise Hampton Creek’s artificial eggs in various blogs and speaking engagements.

Two years after it’s launch an avian flu outbreak hit the globe which led to some consumer to turn to artificial plant based eggs for good.
