🟩JUSTICE CONFLICT, “LEGAL” WAR
January 2, 2025 @ 3:25 pm ET ISRAEL REALTIME – Connecting to Israel in Realtime
⭕HAMAS ROCKET at HOLIT (near Gaza town) mid-day. Intercepted. This is the seventh consecutive day of firing from Gaza into Israel.
▪️PRIME MINISTER NETANYAHU.. has been released from the hospital. He is recovering satisfactorily but still has a period of recovery ahead of him.
▪️JUSTICE SYSTEM vs. THE GOVERNMENT – all day long, subject after subject. There is a very serious conflict where the justice system is interfering with the operation and decisions of the government constantly. Depending on your point of view, either the government is out of control and needs to be reigned in, or the justice system is out of control and needs to be reigned in..
.. The High Court invalidated a section of the Nat. Sec. law, which allows the minister to outline policy in the field of investigations – in a 5:4 decision.
…. The Nat. Sec. Minister said: “The High Court of Justice is once again making itself sovereign, and trampling on the will of the voter. The High Court’s serious decision to strip the police ordinance is intended to strip the minister of his powers, and to try to give the Attorney General’s Office and the Attorney General control over the police.”
…. A judge for the decision said: “It caused a structural-regime defect that leads to violations of human rights. The law has a hidden purpose of granting excessive power to the minister without restrictions.”
…. A judge against the law said: “Who even said that the court has the authority to determine what the Knesset is allowed to legislate and what is not?”
…. And a judge against the process: “Every law becomes a conditional law because of us.”
…. The Justice Min. said: “In what country can judges who elect themselves disqualify, on the spur of the moment, a law that the parliament passed? Only in Israel is democracy being replaced by the rule of a handful of judges.”
▪️AG vs. DEF. MIN.. (on a new draft law to deal with charedi conscription) Attorney General: “The bill being formulated has not been reviewed (by the A.G.). Proposals for previous legal arrangements and assumptions that existed in the past regarding the number of recruits and the absence of personal sanctions are no longer relevant.”
.. Govt Secretary said: “The Attorney General will not determine whether the draft law being formulated meets the required standards (that’s the job of the Knesset).”
▪️CH. 14 PUBLISHED: Did you know? If the IDF discovers where the kidnappers are, there is no legal authorization to eliminate them.
(Reporter says) I have been contacted by other soldiers who claim to have witnessed additional incidents in which the elimination of massacring Hamas operatives was halted due to this consideration. The army confirms the existence of such a policy but categorically denies that it was actually carried out.
The Chief Military Advocate sent a letter to the Southern Command general in which he explicitly instructed to recalculate each attack so as not to harm “uninvolved” people. The Chief of Staff immediately carried out the directive – and even instructed to establish an external inspection team to examine the issue.

[Ed.: ‘The Only Faquaktecracy in the Middle East’. No wonder we haven’t decimated our enemies and are still at war!]

Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Hamas of severe consequences, threatening military strikes “of a force not seen in Gaza for a long time” if the group does not release hostages held for 14 months and stop rocket attacks on Israel.
Katz, speaking in Netivot, said, “If Hamas does not soon allow the release of the Israeli hostages, despite Israel’s readiness to make significant compromises based on US principles, and continues targeting Israeli communities, it will face unprecedented blows.”
The statement follows two rockets fired at Netivot by Hamas, causing no damage or injuries.
Katz vowed the IDF would escalate actions against Hamas strongholds in Gaza until the hostages are freed and the terror group eliminated. He urged Gaza’s residents to oppose Hamas, accusing it of using them as human shields, and demanded action to secure the hostages’ release to prevent further suffering and end the war.

[Ed.: Defense Minister warning Hamas of severe consequences in an embarrassment! Instead of kvetching to Hamas to release all the hostages and end the war (he may as well be talking to the wall,) he should instead kvetch to the IDF generals who have caused the war in the first place, and have been directing it ever since then. Even better than kvetching to them, replacing them would be more effective.]

The IDF has reported a concerning increase in suspected suicides among its personnel since the onset of the war, alongside updated statistics on military fatalities from the past two years.
Data reveals that 38 soldiers are believed to have taken their own lives in 2023 and 2024, with 28 of those occurring after the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack. This marks a sharp rise compared to 14 suicides in 2022 and 11 in 2021.
Overall, deaths in the military during 2023 and 2024 have reached the highest levels in decades, driven by ongoing conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, and other fronts. In 2023 alone, the IDF reported 558 fatalities, with 512 occurring during operational activity and three in terror attacks. Accidents claimed the lives of 16 soldiers, and 10 died due to illness. Of the 17 suspected suicides that year, seven were conscripts, four were career soldiers, and six were reservists. Seven of these suicides took place after the October 7 attack.
In 2024, the IDF documented 363 total deaths, including 295 in operational activity and 11 in terror attacks. Accidents accounted for 23 fatalities, and illness claimed 13 lives. Suspected suicides rose to 21, comprising seven conscripts, two career soldiers, and 12 reservists—a significant increase attributed to the mass mobilization of nearly 300,000 reservists during the war.
In total, all 38 suicides recorded in 2023 and 2024 involved male soldiers. To address the issue, the IDF has intensified mental health support, launching a 24/7 helpline that has handled over 3,900 calls since October 2023. Additionally, more than 800 reservist mental health officers have been deployed to assist troops.
Since the war began on October 7, 2023, a total of 891 soldiers have died, not all in combat. These include 329 deaths during the initial Hamas assault, 390 in fighting within Gaza, 37 in attacks on northern Israel, 50 in battles in Lebanon, and 11 in the West Bank.

Israel Rings in 2025 with Higher Taxes, Rising Cost of Living
January 1, 2025 Jewish Breaking News – Israel’s war-weary citizens won’t be getting any relief this new year as new taxes and price hikes take effect today.
Working Israelis will watch their take-home pay shrink as National Insurance Institute payments climb, costing the average household an extra 1,000 to 2,000 shekels per year. They’re also losing a day of recuperation pay, while the government’s freeze on tax brackets means inflation will quietly push more citizens into a higher tax bracket
Even Israel’s highest earners aren’t immune. Those making more than 721,560 shekels yearly will see their surtax jump from 3% to 5%.
Value-added tax (VAT) will be increased from 17% to 18% on all goods while most Israeli families brace for a wave of additional price hikes on utilities. Electricity costs are surging 3.5%, while water rates rise 2% and property taxes ostensibly charged to the renter are climbing too. Most cities are hiking rates by 5.2%, with Jerusalem going even further by targeting newer buildings constructed since 2020 with additional increases.
To make matters worse, major food producers like Osem-Nestle, Strauss-Elite, and Unilever are all also rolling out price increases, according to the Times of Israel.
The Knesset is defending their squeeze as necessary to fill war-driven budget gaps. However, for families already stretched thin by months of conflict, the new year brings little to celebrate especially as Israel ranks among the highest in poverty rates for a developed nation. At 28.6%, Israel’s poverty rate nearly doubles the United States’ 17.8% and more than triples Germany’s 9%.
Disturbingly, approximately 2.76 million Israelis are struggling with poverty, including 678,200 families and a staggering 1.24 million children as the cost of survival keeps climbing. How the government expects to address this crisis as it continues to strangle the economy with these new taxes and price increases remains to be seen.
For most Israelis used to bureaucratic corruption and waste, they aren’t holding their breath.
Israel Reaches Historic Milestone as Population Tops 10 Million
January 1, 2025 Jewish Breaking News – Am Yisrael Chai! The Jewish State crossed a historic threshold this New Year by surpassing 10 million residents for the first time since its founding in 1948.
According to Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, the official census for 2024 is 10,027,000, with 7.7 million Jewish citizens and non-Arab Christians living alongside 2.1 million Arab Israelis and about 216,000 foreign residents. Birth rates remained strong in 2024, with Israeli hospitals welcoming 181,000 newborns and in spite of the war nearly 33,000 newcomers have returned home by making Aliyah.
However, a troubling statistic has emerged. More than 82,700 Israelis left the country in 2024, which is a massive jump from 55,000 the previous year and more than double the typical pre-war departures. October alone saw a net loss of 10,000 residents, with many citing the ongoing Gaza war and earlier protests over judicial reforms as key factors in their decision. It has slammed the brakes on Israel’s traditionally robust population growth, which plummeted to 1.1% from 1.6% last year.
Only in November and December did the tide begin to shift, as some who had fled after the October 7 Hamas massacre started trickling back to assist with war efforts. Still, immigration numbers fell by 15,000 compared to 2023, suggesting that despite rising global antisemitism, the war in Gaza continues to deter Jewish immigration to Israel.
Contributing to Israel’s slower population growth are ultra-Orthodox families who are having fewer children. New figures from the Haredi Institute for Public Affairs show the average ultra-Orthodox woman now has 6.1 children in her lifetime, compared to 7.5 children in the mid-2000s. Still, ultra-Orthodox families remain the driving force behind Israel’s population growth, as the average non-Haredi Jewish woman has 2.5 children. Its unclear why less children are being born across the board, but experts suggest Israel’s rising cost of living and stifling economy is playing a part in family management.

And the US has provided 78% of Israel’s weapons, reaching 50,000 tons of equipment. (Stockholm International Peace Research Institute) (( We doubt the word “provided” as opposed to SOLD. ))
▪️NEW EMERGENCY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE.. MDA pilot will begin in the coming weeks, a mental-psychiatric emergency hotline will begin operating within Magen David Adom, initially in the Tel Aviv area. The hotline will be able to call not only an ambulance, but also a new and dedicated team for intervention in an emergency mental crisis if necessary. This team will be permanently on duty and will include mental health nurses and paramedics, while at the hotline a psychiatric nurse will continue to manage the case with the advice of a psychiatrist who will be on call.. The patient can be transferred to a hospital, contact the district psychiatrist for involuntary hospitalization, or contact the health fund.

❗️IRAN – possible underground nuclear test. 4.6 magnitude earthquake in Iran in the Semnan desert. According to Armenian researchers, the tremor lacked a seismic pressure wave, making this event more consistent with an explosion than an earthquake. Iran’s seismic event is more like an underground nuclear test than an earthquake. One of the signs is that there wasn’t even a single aftershock.
🔹GAZA – videos out of Gaza show the horrific situation of Arab children war refugees without even a tent shivering in the SNOW under snow covered blankets in a hole. SLIGHT PROBLEM – – it NEVER snows in Gaza, the videos likely from Afghanistan.
🔹SYRIA – Materials coming out of Syria show the Sunnis are cleansing Syria of Shiites. Many Shiites who lived for years south of Damascus in a Shiite area under the Iranian umbrella received threatening phone messages. The demand is simple: leave Syria for Lebanon or Iraq.
( Background – Islam has 2 primary sects, the Sunni and the Shia, and they hate each other. Egypt, Saudi, Jordan and the “Palestinians” are Sunni. Iran is Shia, Iraq is divided. Syria is ~80% Sunni but has been under control of the Shia, Lebanon is ~75% Sunni but Hezbollah is Shia.
🔹US ON HOUTHI MISSILES.. “The technology in the Yemeni missiles has made intercepting the missiles a more difficult task for Israel. Using advanced missile systems, the Houthis put Israeli air defense to the test. The Palestine 2 ballistic missile has maneuvering capabilities.”
🔹YEMEN – Arab media outlets present a number of significant indications that point to the preparation of the various factions in Yemen supported by the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia for the possibility of a ground operation against the Houthi government in Sana’a, and accused the Houthis of providing an excuse for Israel and the US-led coalition to attack Yemen and harm Yemeni infrastructure and citizens, “due to foreign agendas,” which could turn Yemen into a second Gaza.

.. Nat. Sec. Minister Ben Gvir: It turns out that all the Attorney General is investigating is the implementation of the minister’s policy, which is strict adherence to an egalitarian policy: a boy from the hills is treated the same as a boy from the left.
Upon the minister’s arrival at the ministry, he made it clear that there would be no selective persecution against right-wingers, that the days of activists abusing, persecuting, and illegally harming hilltop youths are over, that the law of the left is the same as the law of the right, and that law enforcement is equal for everyone.

Visitors to Israel face a new headache from Jan. 1: Applying for a travel permit By SHARON WROBEL
Foreign nationals from visa-exempt countries seeking to visit Israel, including those from the US and European Union, will have to apply for a travel permit and pay a $6.80 fee
29 December 2024, 6:12 pm Times of Israel – Most foreign airlines have suspended their services to and from Israel and airfares for available fights have surged amid the ongoing war with the Hamas terror group and rising geopolitical tensions. Now, Israel is pressing ahead with new entry travel regulations, putting another burden on foreign nationals seeking to visit despite the war.
As of Jan. 1, foreign travelers from the US, European Union member countries, and dozens of other visa-exempt countries must apply online for digital authorization before their journey as a requirement to enter Israel. Previously, visitors from visa-exempt countries such as the UK, US, and EU member states have been able to visit the country without authorization.
“We don’t think it’s wise to introduce any bureaucratic burden in our war situation when coming to Israel is not something that people are considering easily,” Yossi Fatael, director general of the Israel Inbound Tour Operators Association, told The Times of Israel. “Right now, we need to be as open as we can for those who are interested in visiting Israel.”
“While we understand that it is a procedure many countries are introducing, it should not be implemented right now in Israel,” Fatael added.
Fatael had hoped that the government would postpone the introduction of the electronic travel authorization by at least six months or even a year as incoming tourism has plunged by 80 percent since the brutal onslaught by Hamas terrorists on October 7 last year that led to the outbreak of war.
The electronic travel authorization, called ETA-IL, costs NIS 25 ($6.80) and applies to business, tourist, or leisure travelers wishing to stay in the country for up to 90 days. Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority advises that travel authorization applications be submitted at least 72 hours before booking flight tickets, hotel rooms, and other similar expenses related to planned travel to Israel.
Yossi Fatael, director general of the Israel Inbound Tour Operators Association. (Courtesy)
Once the application form is filled out online with information about identity, length of stay, and reason for travel, a reply is sent via email within 24 to 72 hours. The electronic authorization is valid for travel on multiple trips to and from Israel within a period of two years or until the traveler’s passport expires. Obtaining a new passport or a name or gender change will require an application for a new travel authorization.
“We are dealing especially with organized tours and pilgrims, and sometimes there are old people among them who are not familiar with going into the internet and filling out a form and some don’t even have a credit card,” said Fatael. “Israel needs the incoming tourism not only from the economic point of view, but also these people will be the ones that will speak differently about us when they return home to improve our reputation.”
The Population and Immigration Authority cautioned that a valid ETA-IL travel authorization does not automatically grant visitors the right to enter Israel. All travelers arriving at Ben Gurion Airport are subject to border control checks.
Exempt from the ETA-IL requirement are travel and official representatives, including air crew members; diplomats and passengers with official and service passports; foreign citizens who have a valid Israeli visa; and Israeli citizens or permanent residents holding a valid Israeli ID number.
Israel is joining a host of other Western nations requiring an advance online application and a fee for citizens from visa-exempt countries, including the US, Canada, and Australia.
The ETA-IL requirement is similar to other procedures that have been put in place in recent years in Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand. For example ETA-IL is equivalent to the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) in the US that visitors from visa waiver program countries must obtain before traveling to the US. The goal of the requirement is to screen out travelers suspected of posing a security threat, and improving immigration control and service before they land at ports of entry.
Sixth Bird Flu Outbreak Detected At Central Israel Turkey Farm
December 30, 2024 Yeshiva World News – Israel’s Agriculture Ministry has confirmed the sixth outbreak of avian influenza this winter, this time at a turkey farm in Moshav Kfar Vitkin, near Netanya. The affected farm houses approximately 19,000 turkeys, all of which will be culled in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus.
The ministry announced that the infected turkeys, housed in six coops, are around 12 weeks old. In response to the outbreak, authorities have established a quarantine zone extending up to 10 kilometers (six miles) around the farm.
Farmers and bird breeders have been urged to take precautionary measures to mitigate the risk of further infections. The ministry called on breeders of ornamental birds, poultry farmers, and those with free-range coops to keep their flocks indoors, limiting their exposure to wild birds that may carry the virus during migration season.
This outbreak marks the latest in a series of bird flu detections across Israel. Earlier this year, cases were reported in four locations in the north, as well as at Kibbutz Tzora near Jerusalem.
The Agriculture Ministry has issued warnings to the public against purchasing unregulated poultry, meat, and eggs from black market sources. Consumers are reminded to thoroughly cook all chicken and eggs to eliminate any risk of infection.
Efforts to contain the outbreak are ongoing, with health and agricultural authorities closely monitoring for signs of further spread.
[Ed.: Question: If six Democrats had the flu, would it be prudent to kill everyone in their town in order to prevent the spread to other towns? After all, Democrats are turkeys too…
Ancient Royal Hasmonean Coins Unearthed in Israel
December 30, 2024 Jewish Breaking News – Just when you thought your foil-wrapped chocolate coins were impressive, Israeli archaeologists have unearthed the real deal – currency from the royal descendants of the Maccabees themselves.
Along the Tirzah River Valley, archaeologists discovered on Friday a treasure trove of coins bearing the mark of King Alexander Jannaeus. As the second king of the Hasmonean dynasty, Jannaeus inherited more than just a crown when he ruled Judea from 103 to 76 BCE. He carried the legacy of his father Yochanan Hyrcanus, his grandfather Shimon, and his great-grandfather Matityahu, whose revolt against Antiochus in 167 BCE is celebrated during Hanukkah every year by the Jewish people.
“We believe the coins were discovered at a way station, which we didn’t know about until this excavation. The site included a purification mikveh, a pool, and other structures along the main road leading to the Sartaba fortress, which Jannaeus himself constructed,” said Dr. Shay Bar, who led the excavation alongside Dr. Yoav Farhi and Dr. Michael Osband.
“All of our students and volunteers were very excited to find this Hasmonean relic, especially during Hanukkah. This gave the holiday an added sense of significance, especially during this difficult time for the Jewish people. I hope that people will be drawn to visit this place and it will become a protected archaeological heritage site in Israel.”
Each coin bears identical markings of an eight-pointed star accompanied by an Aramaic inscription reading “King Alexander, Year 25” on one side, while the reverse displays an anchor with Greek text proclaiming “Coin of King Alexander.” Based on the distinctive style, researchers date these coins to approximately 80 BCE.
While some may chalk up the finding during Hanukkah to coincidence, in Judaism there is a tenet known as “divine providence.” As Israel continues its brave battle against today’s enemies that seek to destroy her, these ancient Hasmonean coins tell a story far more valuable than their weight in silver. They speak of Jewish sovereignty, of resistance, and of survival. A message that rings as true today as it did when the Maccabees defeated the powerful Greek army over 2,000 years ago.”

Dec 29, 2024, 11:34 PM (GMT+2) Israel National News – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday evening underwent a planned operation at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, to remove his prostate gland.
The surgery took about two hours and Netanyahu was transferred to the recovery room upon its completion.
The Prime Minister’s Office said, “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s surgery has concluded successfully and without complications.”
“The Prime Minister has awakened from the anesthesia, is in good condition and is fully conscious. He has been transferred to the underground, protected recovery unit. He is expected to remain in the hospital for observation in the coming days,” the statement said.

Former Israeli Spy Jonathan Pollard Eyes Knesset Run
December 29. 2024 Jewish Breaking News – Former Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard is positioning himself as the new voice for disaffected right-wing voters.
According to the Jerusalem Post, Pollard has been holding meetings with various political figures, including current ministers, Knesset members, and emerging candidates. Among his recent contacts are National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Brig.-Gen. (Res.) Ofer Winter, considered both polarizing figures in Israeli politics.
Born in 1954, Pollard worked as a civilian intelligence analyst for the U.S. Navy before his 1985 arrest on charges of espionage for Israel. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1987 after pleading guilty and is the only American ever sentenced to life in prison for spying for a U.S. ally. After serving 30 years, Pollard was released on parole in 2015. Eventually, he was allowed to move to Israel, where he was welcomed as a hero by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2020.
Pollard is targeting both religious and non-religious voters who feel alienated by the current direction of Likud and are seeking an alternative to former prime minister Naftali Bennett.
“My goal is to unite those in the ideological right who love Israel and want to contribute to the state. National service, whether in the IDF or another framework, is a critical issue for me. Everyone, without exception, must serve the state in some way,” he tells the Post.
While considering an independent run before the October 2026 election deadline, Pollard hasn’t ruled out joining existing right-wing factions. However, he explicitly rejected any alliance with Bennett, whom he criticized for breaking promises to right-wing voters.
“I don’t see any possibility of cooperating with Bennett. I don’t believe him after he promised his voters he wouldn’t align with the left, and then formed a government with them. Politics is politics, but honesty and loyalty to your promises are fundamental, and that’s what Bennett lacks,” he said.
Recent polling data suggests Pollard could add approximately three seats to any right-wing party he joins.”
UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE: Nasrallah Never Thought Israel Would Kill Him
December 29, 2024 The Yeshiva World News – Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s leader for decades, reportedly underestimated the extent of Israel’s intelligence capabilities, believing himself safe in his underground bunker in Beirut until his death in an Israeli Air Force airstrike on September 27. According to a report by The New York Times, Nasrallah dismissed warnings from his aides and resisted moving to a more secure location, confident that Israel sought to avoid a direct war with Hezbollah.
The airstrike followed 20 years of deep intelligence penetration into Hezbollah by Israeli operatives. The report revealed that Israel recruited agents to plant listening devices in Hezbollah bunkers, enabling them to monitor leadership discussions and movements. Israeli Unit 8200 also intercepted critical documents outlining Hezbollah’s arsenal and the locations of its leaders, giving Israel unparalleled insight into the organization.
One of Israel’s boldest moves involved sabotaging Hezbollah’s communication network. Israeli intelligence tricked the group into purchasing pagers and walkie-talkies embedded with explosives. On September 17 and 18, these devices were detonated, killing dozens of operatives, wounding thousands, and crippling Hezbollah’s communications. The operation disrupted the group’s coordination as Israel launched Operation Northern Arrows, a decisive campaign that decimated Hezbollah’s weapon stockpiles, elite forces, and leadership hierarchy, including Nasrallah himself.
The escalation came after nearly a year of relentless Hezbollah rocket and drone attacks on northern Israel, which began in support of Hamas following the October 7 massacre. These attacks caused dozens of Israeli deaths, including 12 Druze children in Majdal Shams, and displaced tens of thousands of residents. By the time of Nasrallah’s death, Israel had been preparing for this conflict for decades, leveraging intelligence breakthroughs to deliver a significant blow to the terrorist organization.
SOME QUOTES FROM THE NY TIMES ARTICLE:
A New York Times investigation, based on interviews with more than two dozen current and former Israeli, American and European officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss classified operations, reveals just how extensively Israeli spies had penetrated Hezbollah. They recruited people to plant listening devices in Hezbollah bunkers, tracked meetings between one top commander and his four mistresses, and had near constant visibility into the movements of the militia group’s leaders.
The contrast between Israel’s approaches to Hezbollah and to Hamas is also stark and devastating. The intense intelligence focus on Hezbollah shows that the country’s leaders believed that the Lebanese militia group posed the greatest imminent threat to Israel. And yet it was Hamas in the Gaza Strip, a group Israeli intelligence believed had neither the interest nor the abilities to attack Israel, that launched a surprise attack and caught the nation unprepared.
Specifically, the Mossad recruited people in Lebanon to help Hezbollah build secret facilities after the war. The Mossad sources fed the Israelis information about the locations of hide-outs and assisted in monitoring them, two officials said.
Over the next three years, Israel’s increasing ability to hack into cellphones left Hezbollah, Iran and their allies increasingly wary of using smartphones. Israeli officers from Unit 8200 helped fuel the fear, using bots on social media to push Arabic-language news reports on Israel’s ability to hack into phones, according to two officers in the agency.
Worried about smartphones being compromised, Hezbollah’s leadership decided to expand its use of pagers. Such devices allowed them to send out messages to fighters but did not reveal location data nor have cameras and microphones that could be hacked.
The Mossad presented the gadget, one without any hidden explosives, to Mr. Netanyahu during a meeting in March 2023, according to two people with knowledge of the meeting. The prime minister was skeptical about their durability, and asked David Barnea, the Mossad chief, how easily they might break. Mr. Barnea assured him they were sturdy.
Not convinced, Mr. Netanyahu abruptly stood up and threw the device against the wall of his office. The wall cracked, but the pager did not.
The Mossad front company shipped the first batch of pagers to Hezbollah that fall.
Israeli intelligence analysts, who were constantly monitoring the use of the devices, discovered a potential problem with the operation. At least one Hezbollah technician began to suspect that the walkie-talkies might contain hidden explosives, according to three Israeli defense officials. Israel dealt with it swiftly this year, killing the technician with an airstrike.
On Sept. 11, intelligence showed that Hezbollah was sending some of the pagers to Iran for examination, and Israeli officials knew it was only a matter of time before the covert operation would be blown.
On Sept. 16, Mr. Netanyahu met with top security chiefs to weigh whether to detonate the pagers in a “use it or lose it” operation, according to four Israeli security officials. Some opposed it, saying it might prompt a full Hezbollah counterattack and possibly a strike by Iran.
Mr. Netanyahu ordered the operation. The following day, at 3:30 p.m. local time, the Mossad ordered an encrypted message to be sent to thousands of the pagers. Seconds later, the pagers detonated.
Dr. Samuel Katz to Channel 7: The War on Terror begins in Palestinian schools June Kempinski
Dr. Samuel Katz, founder of Stand With Us, thinks the main problem that requires treatment the day after the war is Muslim education in the Middle East.
December 26, 24:43 INN – Dr. Samuel Katz, founder of Stand With Us, thinks the main problem that requires treatment the day after the war is Muslim education in the Middle East.
“The main problem in the area is that we still do not control the schools on the Palestinian side. This is the same problem that has already begun in the Oslo Accords. The people who designed the future of the State of Israel at the time thought that if Israel’s enemies were given lots of money and self-development options, they would not want to lose everything they achieved by the economic means they have. That is why they will give up terror because they want to be like us.
Unfortunately this did not happen. They used all the treasures they received for a completely different situation. They thought that if they succeeded in building a whole system of power, they would eventually overcome the Israelis and the free world as a whole. So right now, we have to control the street in Gaza and the street in Judea and Samaria. We need to take care of youth education to have a better future. When you look at the background of the terrorists all over the world, say bin Laden, comes from a family of millionaires. For them, economic stability is not at all important, but ideology. Hamas is worse than ISIS in this area, “KH adds.
According to him, alongside the strengthening of security power, action must be taken to uproot the extreme ideology. “If you fix them the whole area, give them gold houses and silver streets, you won’t get peace as a result of your action. They’ll just think you’re an idiot, who gives them money to build a system that will kill you tomorrow. They said they would repeat the seven in October once after. The main reason the Oslo Agreement failed was that we did not enter the education system. The chance will be when we can reach the population and explain to them that their leaders do not care for them and even take advantage of them. That they don’t think in terms of a better future for their children.
If people realize they are being exploited by corrupt leaders, I guess they will start to think, ‘Why am I being exploited? I work hard, I try to develop something important for my future, so why do my leaders take advantage of me? ‘ After all, this mentality is that when Mom is on the street, declaring ‘I am very proud that my children will die on jihad’, it is a craze. They just don’t understand what’s going on with them. It’s a brainwashing problem. If you educate children that they hate everyone who is not like them, the result will be terrible. No matter how much money you give them, in the end their dream is not to do well in the area, but to go for an ideology that in fact all the proceeds are received in the next world that no one has returned to explain the mistake to them. It is peer pressure that comes from fear. They are afraid of their friends, their teachers and their leaders, because they show them that if you do not do what I tell you, you run the risk of beating, murder and harsh punishments, “Highlights.
He emphasizes that in order to achieve this result there must be unity in the people of Israel. “The importance of the big picture is very clear, in terms of the process in the area. Israel is an island of peace, an island of peace, an island of people who want to do well in the area. The first thing that must be done in Israel and within the Jewish people is to work together to produce a people who build on each other, and who do not oppose each other.
Unfortunately, one of Israel’s biggest problems today is all kinds of people trying to take advantage of the situation for their personal benefit. In the end, they think that if they get stuck in another group, they will benefit. Therefore, it is very important to build bridges, to find the special values we have in the country, to develop a better future for everyone. Because if there is a good future for everyone – everyone will enjoy. And if we start with the internal wars, everyone will lose. “

[Ed.: Dr. Samuel Katz is the smartest man in Israel. He finally figured out the solution to our problem. For 60 years, Israel has condoned and enabled the so-called ‘Palestinians’ to teach their children to hate and to kill Jews. But suddenly, through a combination of luck and genius, Dr. Katz has identified the source of, and the solution to the daily murder of Jews in our so-called ‘homeland’! What a welcome surprise. 🎯 Channel 12 disclosed critical details about the targeted elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh during his visit to Tehran. His predictable habit of staying in the same room each trip enabled Israeli intelligence to locate and target him with precision.
The operation faced a near setback when the air conditioner unit in Haniyeh’s guesthouse malfunctioned in the middle of the night. He left the room while staff repaired the issue. After returning, the concealed bomb, hidden within his personal pillow, detonated successfully.
This mission is now recognized as one of the most dangerous and sensitive undertakings in Mossad’s history.
⭕ The U.S. THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) system stationed in Israel successfully intercepted a Houthi ballistic missile on Thursday night, marking its first operational success in combat, according to Fox News. This significant achievement highlights the system’s critical role in regional defense and the ongoing strategic partnership between the U.S. and Israel.
