Netanyahu decides not to return Israeli delegation to Cairo
Feb 14, 2024, 5:57 PM (GMT+2) – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided not to send back to Cairo the Israeli delegation that had participated in the recent negotiations on a potential new hostage deal.
Netanyahu said, “This week we freed two of our hostages in a careful military operation. So far we have freed 112 of our hostages with a combination of strong military pressure and firm negotiations. This is also the key to the release of the rest of our hostages: strong military pressure and very firm negotiations.”
“I insist that Hamas drop their delusional demands – and when they drop these demands we can move forward,” he added.
Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Office stated, “In Cairo, Israel was not given any new proposal by Hamas for the release of our hostages. Prime Minister Netanyahu insists that Israel will not give in to the delusional demands of Hamas. A change in Hamas’ positions will allow progress in negotiations.
Rescued Hostages Denied Promised Medication, Sparking Calls to Halt Aid to Gaza By Pesach Benson, TPS
The failure to deliver promised medication intensified calls to halt humanitarian aid shipments to the region.
Feb 14, 2024 – The families of two hostages rescued from Gaza told Israeli media their loved ones did not receive medication that Hamas and Qatar promised would be delivered to the captives, renewing calls for Israel to suspend humanitarian aid deliveries to the Strip.
Fernando Marman, 61, Louis Har, 70, were rescued from the Gaza town of Rafah on Monday and are recovering at the Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan. The families were informed that Marman and Har were given some medication while in captivity, but not medicines that were specifically intended for them as part of an agreement in January which saw Israel expand the amount of humanitarian aid allowed into the Strip.
Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir wrote a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday calling for the suspension of humanitarian aid transfers to Gaza until the well-being of the hostages is verified.
“Let us remind you that about a month ago you led a move against Qatar to deliver essential medicines to our abductees, in which you approved the transfer of two Air Force cargo planes filled with thousands of packages of medicines and humanitarian medical equipment to the residents of Gaza along with individual boxes of medicines for the abductees, in return For the promise that Hamas will present evidence that the abductees did indeed receive the drugs,” Ben-Gvir wrote.
“Now, when it is clear to the whole world that even the medicines intended for the abductees, through international mediation, did not reach their destination, I implore you to immediately stop the transfer of humanitarian aid to Gaza and accept my simple position that until the State of Israel receives information about their condition of the abductees and clear evidence that the medicines were delivered to them, no aid truck will enter the Gaza Strip,” Ben-Gvir wrote.
Hezbollah Rocket Attack Kills One, Injures Eight in Safed By JNS
This recent attack underscores the ongoing threat from militant groups across the border.
A rocket fired from Lebanon by the Hezbollah terrorist group hit a building in the northern Israeli city of Safed, killing at least one person and wounding eight others.
A dead body was found during searches of the damaged building, Magen David Adom Director-General Eli Bin said. Media reports indicated that a woman was killed in the attack.
A second rocket crash site in Safed was reported, with no casualties from that hit.
“There were strikes near the city, also in our area, there are injured. We are returning the educational institutions to normal. … I don’t think we need to talk about evacuation, we are on full alert,” Kan quoted Safed Mayor Shuki Ohana as saying.
The IDF confirmed that several launches were detected from Lebanon that crossed the border to the area of Moshav Netu’a as well as near Kibbutz Manara and an IDF base. The announcement did not mention Safed. The IDF said it was attacking the launch sites.

Report: Smotrich stopping US grain from going to UNRWA Israel National News
American officials reportedly furious [Emphasis added] after Finance Minister blocks aid shipment from going to UN refugee agency proven to have close ties to Hamas terrorist organization.
Feb 13, 2024, 7:02 PM (GMT+2) – Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich is holding up a shipment of American flour to Gaza because it is intended for UNRWA, Walla correspondent Barak Ravid reported.
According to the report, American officials claim that Smotrich is not allowing the shipment into Gaza because its destination is UNRWA, whose involvement in Hamas terrorism, including the October 7 massacre, has recently been proven.
Officials in the administration are outraged by the decision and claim that it violates a commitment by Prime Minister Netanyahu given to President Biden according to which all American aid will be allowed into the Strip.
COGAT is attempting to circumvent the Finance Minister’s directive to prevent the flour from going to UNRWA by instead giving it to the UN World Food Program, which does not face the same accusations of involvement in terrorism as UNRWA.

Sinwar seen with his family in a Khan Yunis tunnel Israel National News
Hamas leader apparently photographed on a security camera inside a Hamas tunnel in the Gaza Strip that the IDF reached in recent days.
Feb 13, 2024, 8:12 PM (GMT+2) – Discovery in the Hamas tunnels: During a military operation in Khan Yunis about two weeks ago, IDF soldiers managed to film a video of Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, walking inside a strategic Hamas tunnel, accompanied by his wife and children. Another person was seen leading them through the tunnel.
The IDF currently decided not to publish the video, indicating that he had apparently been in Khan Yunis in recent days.
Israel now believes that Sinwar has been disconnected from the Hamas leadership outside the Gaza Strip and did not take part in the proposal that the terrorist organization submitted to the mediators regarding the deal for the release of the hostages.
Israeli sources state that “Sinwar is running from cave to cave all the time – just like a mouse. He is terrified and is moving from one place to another in a frenzy. The only thing that can cause a deal is his real fear that any minute he will be killed, and only a deal will save him.”
According to the sources, “If there is a chance for a deal, it is only because of military pressure; the IDF sitting on Sinwar’s neck, and that in another second he will not be with us and they will kill him. He has no other reason than this. He does not need fuel, medicine or food. He knows that any minute he is going to be eliminated with his top team.”

Two Israeli Hostages Rescued from Barbarian Killers in Gaza After Biden Regime Told Them to Not Enter Rafah By Jim Hoft
Israel rescued two Israeli hostages in southern Gaza on Monday.
Feb. 12, 2024 11:15 am – This comes after Joe Biden called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and told him not to enter Rafah – that it might break down hostage negotiations.
Israel ignored Biden’s command and went ahead and rescued their people.
Joe Biden told Prime Minister Netanyahu to resist a military operation in the Rafah area. Israel went ahead and rescued their people anyway.
The AP reported on the rescue with their typical slant:
Israeli forces rescued two hostages early Monday, storming a heavily guarded apartment in the southern Gaza Strip and extracting the captives under fire in a dramatic raid that was a small but symbolically significant success for Israel. The operation killed at least 67 Palestinians, including women and children, according to Palestinian health officials in the beleaguered territory.
To assist the rescue forces, heavy airstrikes pounded the area near the apartment in Rafah, a city on the southern edge of the Gaza Strip where 1.4 million Palestinians have fled to escape fighting elsewhere in the Israel-Hamas war.
The raid was celebrated in Israel as a victory in the sluggish battle to free the hostages, with more than 100 captives still held by Hamas and other Gaza militants, and briefly lifted the spirits of a nation still reeling from Hamas’ cross-border raid last year. But in Gaza, where civilians have borne a staggering toll since the war erupted on Oct. 7, the operation unleashed another wartime tragedy, with many Palestinians killed or wounded.
The AP forgot to mention that there would be no bombings if Hamas were not still holding over 100 Israeli hostages!
The IDF released a statement on the rescue.
In nighttime operation: Israeli troops free two hostages from Hamas captivity INN
[More details in TOI report attached at the bottom.]
Feb 12, 2024 – IDF soldiers rescued hostages Fernando Merman and Louis Herr in a nighttime operation in Rafah overnight Sunday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.
Both were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak on October 7.
They were evacuated by helicopter to Sheba Hospital at Tel Hashomer and their condition is good.
Earlier, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said that the IDF conducted a series of strikes on terror targets in the area of Shaboura, located in the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip.
The strikes have concluded, the statement said. It provided no further details.
The Gaza “ministry of health”, which is controlled by Hamas, claimed that at least 52 people were killed in the Israeli strikes.
Palestinian Arab sources reported that the attacks targeted houses and mosques in the area.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with US President Joe Biden in a phone conversation that lasted approximately 45 minutes.
The White House said following the conversation that Biden “reaffirmed his view that a military operation in Rafah should not proceed without a credible and executable plan for ensuring the safety of and support for the more than one million people sheltering there.”
Earlier, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published an official announcement in which it voiced its opposition to an expected Israeli operation in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
“The Arab Republic of Egypt stresses its complete rejection of the statements issued by high-level officials of the Israeli government regarding the intention of the Israeli forces to launch a military operation in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, warning of the dire consequences of such an action, especially in light of the risks it entails of exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip,” the statement said.
“Egypt calls for the necessity of uniting all international and regional efforts to prevent the targeting of the Palestinian city of Rafah, which now houses approximately 1.4 million Palestinians who were displaced there because it is the last safe area in the Gaza Strip. It considers targeting Rafah, and Israel’s continued policy of obstructing access to humanitarian aid, as an actual contribution to implementing the policy of displacing the Palestinian people and liquidating their cause, in clear violation of the provisions of international law, international humanitarian law, and the relevant resolutions of the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly,” it added.
Israel Uncovers Massive Hamas Data Center Under UN’s Gaza Headquarters By Pamela Geller
February 10, 2024 – Just as the League of Nations was dissolved because of the advent of World War I and it had clearly failed in its primary purpose, the United Nations must too be abolished because it has become the very thing it was established to oppose – another Holocaust. Instead it is an arm of the global jihad and it is aiding and abetting in Jewish genocide. It has failed in its primary purpose and should be dismantled.
The League of Nations was established at the end of World War I as an international peacekeeping organization just as the United Nations was founded over seventy years ago in the wake of the Holocaust to ensure “never again.” Democracies, both nascent and well-established, comprised the majority of the founding nations of the UN. America was confident that the UN would be an organization which would work in tandem with American national interests in promoting the welfare of humankind and the basic rights of every human spirit.

IDF Reports Discovery of Top Secret Hamas Data Center Beneath UN’s Gaza Headquarters (Video) By Margaret Flavin
Feb. 11, 2024 9:30 am – The IDF has revealed that a top-secret Hamas subterranean data center has been discovered beneath the headquarters of the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza.
According to The Times of Israel, “The subterranean data center — complete with an electrical room, industrial battery power banks and living quarters for Hamas terrorists operating the computer servers — was built precisely under the location where Israel would not consider looking initially, let alone target in an airstrike.”
The revelation follows accusations since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks that UNRWA has colluded with the terrorist group.
Last month, we learned that at least 12 UNRWA staffers took part in the mass slaughter of innocent Jews on October 7.

This is what the IDF found in UNRWA’s central headquarters in Gaza [2:29] Israel National News
UNRWA offices served Hamas terrorists for terror activities. Beneath the refugee agency’s office was a tunnel which shared electric infrastructure with Hamas.
Feb 10, 2024, 8:40 PM (GMT+2) – Over the last two weeks, IDF and ISA forces have been conducting a division-level targeted raid on terror targets in northern and central Gaza, the IDF and ISA reported.
The forces operated in the areas of Shati and Tel al-Hawa in northern Gaza. Approximately 120 Hamas terrorists were killed and 20 terrorist infrastructure sites were destroyed as part of the operation.

Following ISA intelligence, the forces arrived at a tunnel shaft near an UNRWA school. The shaft led to an underground terror tunnel that served as a significant asset of Hamas’ military intelligence and passed under the building that serves as UNRWA’s main headquarters in the Gaza Strip.
The tunnel was 700 meters long and 18 meters deep and contained several blast doors. A wide variety of intelligence assets were seized during the operation. The newly-found intelligence will allow the forces to operate against additional Hamas targets. The dismantling of the tunnel weakens Hamas’ intelligence capabilities.
The forces located electrical infrastructure inside the tunnel connected to UNRWA’s main headquarters, under which the underground tunnel was located, indicating that UNRWA’s facilities supplied the tunnel with electricity.
Following these findings and based on preliminary ISA intelligence, the forces conducted a targeted raid on UNRWA’s central headquarters, which contains offices for various humanitarian and international organizations.
Large quantities of weapons were found inside the rooms of the building, including rifles, ammunition, grenades and explosives. Intelligence and documents discovered in the offices of UNRWA officials confirmed that the offices had in fact also been used by Hamas terrorists.
