US President Joe Biden said Monday night Israel must make peace with the Palestinians to survive while warning that its “incredibly conservative government” would cost it international support.
Speaking in an appearance on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, Biden also signaled that a temporary ceasefire in Gaza could be at hand, saying that Israel has agreed to pause its offensive during the upcoming Muslim holy month of Ramadan if a deal is reached to release some hostages held by Hamas.
The US president, who stressed that he is a Zionist, said the “only way Israel ultimately survives… here’s the deal, they also have to… take advantage of an opportunity to have peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians who are being used as pawns by Hamas.”
A temporary ceasefire “gives us time to begin to move in directions that a lot of Arab countries are prepared to move” in terms of normalizing relations with Israel, he said.
“For example, Saudi Arabia is ready to recognize Israel,” he said, referencing Riyadh’s desire to forge ties with Israel if it commits to concrete steps towards a two-state solution.

Biden funding Palestinian terrorists according to bombshell report DC DAILY JOURNAL
24 February 2024 – The White House has a lot of explaining to do. They’ve been caught red-handed.
As a new bombshell report accuses the Biden admin of funding Palestinian terrorists.
Translations of Palestinian media indicate that numerous members of the Palestinian Authority security forces, funded by the State Department, have been implicated in recent assaults against Israeli civilians and soldiers.
According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), an Israeli watchdog organization, its translations of social media posts and broadcasts from Fatah, the governing party in the West Bank, have lauded many members of the Palestinian Authority security forces for their involvement in attacks against Israelis. Since 2007, the State Department has allocated over $170 million to support these forces, offering resources such as weapons training and communication infrastructure, as per a review of federal contract data by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Fatah, which holds control over the Palestinian Authority, has openly celebrated the alleged participation of its security forces in attacks on Israelis, as revealed by PMW’s translations.
A Fatah official stated on a Palestinian government television program in March 2023, as translated by PMW, “I think that the entire Palestinian people and the whole world has [recently] seen that more than 1,500 military operations against the Israeli occupation were led by the Fatah Movement members and the [PA] Security Forces members.”
According to PMW’s translations, a Fatah-run television program host claimed, “More than two-thirds of the martyrs in the West Bank over the last year and a half belong to the Fatah movement and the PA … More than 355 of our Palestinian people’s prisoners inside [Israeli] prisons are from the Palestinian Security Forces—in other words, the PA’s soldiers.”
Describing the Palestinian Authority security forces as part of a unified entity dealing with the Israeli occupation, Fatah Deputy Chairman Mahmoud Al-Aloul’s statement, translated by PMW from the Fatah Commission of Information and Culture’s Facebook page, underscores their involvement.
By analyzing public materials from Fatah, PMW has identified over 50 members of the Palestinian Authority security forces allegedly implicated in terrorism against Israelis since 2020. These instances range from clashes with soldiers to shooting at civilians and plotting terrorist activities.

Document reveals: Prisoner swap would see release of around 40 women, elderly, and ailing, in exchange for hundreds of convicted terrorists; six-week ceasefire.
Feb 24, 2024, 9:10 PM (GMT+2) – Channel 13 News revealed on Saturday evening a document with the principal points of a potential prisoner swap deal between Israel and the Hamas terror group.
Hamas has not yet said whether it would agree to such a deal.
The deal would include the release of around 40 hostages – women, elderly over age 50 or 60, and the ailing – in exchange for hundreds of convicted terrorists, as well as a six-week ceasefire.
The proposal also says that Israel will agree to release, in exchange for certain categories, more terrorists than were agreed upon until now. A foreign source said that Israel is willing to hold negotiations regarding the release of terrorists who were released in the 2011 Shalit deal and re-arrested following continued terror activity.
Under the proposal, Israel will also show significant flexibility on humanitarian issues, both regarding rebuilding Gaza and regarding allowing residents to return to northern Gaza. Israel will not, however, commit to ending the war.

According to Kan News, the agreement would include one day of ceasefire in exchange for every hostage released, as well as the release of hundreds of convicted terrorists at a rate of ten terrorists for every one hostage, and the return of Gazans to northern Gaza, and rebuilding Gaza.
Earlier on Saturday evening, a senior diplomatic source said, “We are still far from a deal, but Hamas has dropped some of its demands.”
Hamas official Abed Elrahman Shadid told a Qatari television station on Saturday that, “The discussions in Paris are nothing but self-negotiations, since Hamas is not part of them.”
“The statements by [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu send clear messages that Israel is not serious about its attempt to make progress on the matter of a prisoner swap. We are not a part or party to the meetings in Paris, and they did not report any progress to us.”

PM Netanyahu says Cabinet will meet to approve plans for Rafah operation, evacuation of Gaza civilians.
Feb 24, 2024, 10:16 PM (GMT+2) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday night spoke about the progress in talks for a prisoner swap deal to free the Israelis kidnapped to Gaza on October 7.
“We are working to achieve another deal to free our hostages, as well as eliminating Hamas battalions in Rafah,” Netanyahu said. “Therefore, I sent a delegation to Paris, and we will speak this evening about the next steps in the negotiations.”
Netanyahu also emphasized that Israel intends to operate in Rafah: “At the beginning of the week, I will gather the Cabinet to approve the plans for operational action in Rafah, including evacuating the civilian population from there. Only the integration of military pressure and firm negotiations will bring about a release of our hostages, the elimination of Hamas, and the achievement of all of the goals of the war.”

The proposed deal would see a first stage in which 35-40 hostages are released: women, children, the elderly, and the ailing (including young ailing). One report defined “elderly” as over 50, while another defined it as over 60.
In exchange for these hostages, Israel will agree to a ceasefire of several weeks, without committing to ending the war. The negotiators hope to utilize the ceasefire for negotiations regarding a more comprehensive deal which would extend the ceasefire.
The negotiators also hope to finalize the agreement within the coming two weeks, so that it takes effect before the start of Ramadan on March 10.
Meanwhile, reports say that hundreds of convicted terrorists, including those with blood on their hands, will be freed in exchange for the Israeli hostages.
