Meanwhile, earlier, the US declared it would not participate in any counterattack against Iran.
“We don’t seek a war with Iran. We’re not looking for escalation here,” White House national security spokesman John Kirby told NBC on Sunday.
Even earlier, President Biden discussed the evolving conflict between Iran-Israel in a meeting of the Group of Seven “to coordinate a united diplomatic response to Iran’s brazen attack.”
Iran told the US earlier today that if it supports Israel’s counterattack, expect its military bases in the Middle East to be attacked with missiles and suicide drones.
In markets, Bitcoin instantly responded to the rollercoaster of headlines, initially down 3% but then surging to erase losses. Now moving lower.
To sum up, US officials say Israel ‘isn’t looking’ for an escalation with Iran. Maybe Brent >$100/bbl is why…
And if there was any retaliation strike against Iran by Israel, the US would not be joining.

Update (0700ET): There are mounting concerns that Israel could strike back. If so, Iran warned Washington that US military bases could be in the crosshairs of missiles and suicide drones.
“Our response will be much larger than tonight’s military action if Israel retaliates against Iran,” Iran’s armed forces chief of staff, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, told state media, as quoted by The Times of Israel. He said that Tehran warned Washington that any backing of an Israeli retaliation strike would result in US bases being targeted.
“If the Zionist regime (Israel) or its supporters demonstrate reckless behavior, they will receive a decisive and much stronger response,” Iran’s president Ebrahim Raisi said in a statement.
🇮🇱💪🏽 HISTORIC DEFENSIVE SUCCESS – Nearly Entire Israeli Air Force Was In The Air:

– 99% of the 300 or so projectiles fired by Iran at Israel overnight were intercepted by air defenses.
– Iran launched 170 drones at Israel, and not one entered Israeli airspace. They were all downed outside of the country’s borders by Israel and its allies.
– Another 30 cruise missiles were launched, and not a single one entered Israeli airspace. 25 of them were downed by the Israeli Air Force.
– Iran fired some 120 ballistic missiles at Israel. Some of the missiles managed to bypass Israel’s defenses, hitting the Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel.
– Slight damage was caused to infrastructure at Nevatim, but the airbase is running as usual.
– A handful of drones and missiles were launched from Iraq and Yemen amid the attack, although none entered Israeli airspace.
– Photos show Israeli fighter jets returning to base after downing hundreds Iranian drones and cruise missiles.

Now, only six months later, a large crowd can be seen running through the streets of Israel as Iran bombards Israel with over 200 missile and drone attacks. Thankfully, most of the drones and missiles were intercepted.
In another video that was reportedly taken inside Israel, innocent people are watching from inside Israel as Tel Aviv came under attack by the terrorist-led nation of Iran.
In November, the Joe Biden administration extended a sanctions waiver that will allow Iran to collect another $10 billion in funds in order for the mullahs to fund their military operations in the region.
This came one week after Iranian-backed Houthis attempted to shoot down a US drone in the region and one month after Iran-backed Hamas terrorists slaughtered 1,400 Jews in Israel and took another 240 Jews hostage.
Hamas is still holding over 100 Jewish civilian hostages, including Americans.
It was the deadliest attack on Jews since World War II.
Joe Biden ignored the massacre in order to open the door and help Iran bring in another $10 billion in the next few months.
To this day, the Hamas savages refuse to release the remaining Jewish hostages from their genocidal attack in southern Israel.
On Thursday, Secretary of State Tony Blinken warned that Israel risks becoming indistinguishable from Hamas.

IDF repairs water line in Khan Yunis area, opens new ‘Northern Crossing’; efforts continue to enable the entry of humanitarian aid to residents of the Gaza Strip.
Apr 13, 2024, 9:10 PM (GMT+3) – The IDF, via the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), continues efforts to facilitate the entry of hundreds of trucks containing food supplies and humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza.
Since the beginning of the war, over 22,700 trucks containing 428,000 tons of humanitarian aid have passed through through the Kerem Shalom and Nitzana crossings into Gaza following security checks. In addition, in recent months, over 6,250 food packages have been airdropped in 72 airdrops to distribution points throughout the Gaza Strip, as part of the humanitarian effort.
This week, between April 7 – April 13, approximately 1,866 humanitarian aid trucks were checked and entered through the crossings. 1,463 food packages were dropped in 12 airdrops.
Furthermore, this week, the Coordination and Liaison Administration for Gaza of COGAT, together with the Southern Command, coordinated the entry of 267 trucks carrying humanitarian aid into the northern Gaza Strip. On Thursday, a new crossing from Israel into northern Gaza – the ‘Northern Crossing’ – began operating as part of efforts to increase aid routes to the northern Gaza Strip.
In addition, the Coordination and Liaison Administration for Gaza coordinated works to repair a main water line in the Gaza Strip – Bani Suheila for the Khan Yunis region.
The IDF will continue its efforts to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip by land, air and sea in accordance with international law.
