🔴 ISRAEL CONSIDERS FULL GAZA TAKEOVER TO DESTROY HAMAS; OCTOBER 7 VICTIMS SUE META; LEBANON MOVES TO REMOVE HEZBOLLAH AND OPEN BORDER TALKS WITH ISRAEL

🕑 — August 7, 2025, 11:45 PM  Israel RealTime

🇮🇱 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the IDF are preparing a major new operation to take full control of the Gaza Strip. The security cabinet is reviewing the plan, which would begin with the encirclement of Gaza City and the relocation of roughly one million residents to the southern part of the Strip.

Once the area is cleared, IDF forces would target and dismantle Hamas strongholds in Gaza City before moving on to central refugee camps. The plan also includes a significant humanitarian component, with aid deliveries to Gaza expected to quadruple.

Netanyahu rejected international accusations of genocide, stating, “If we’re practicing genocide [in the Gaza Strip] we’re surely doing a very bad job of it, because we could’ve basically eliminated the entire population of Gaza, but we went the other direction.”

Security officials, including Zamir, have expressed confidence that Hamas can be eliminated while protecting hostages. The security cabinet is expected to reach a final decision on the plan soon.

💩 UK Position on Palestinian Statehood: British Ambassador to Israel Simon Walters stated that the UK’s planned recognition of a Palestinian state “is not a reward for Hamas.” He acknowledged Israeli concerns over the move but stressed that the UK remains firmly committed to Israel’s security.

⚖️  $1 Billion Lawsuit Against Meta: Survivors and families of victims from the October 7 terror attack have filed a $1 billion lawsuit against Meta. The suit claims the company allowed Hamas to livestream its assault on Israeli civilians, broadcasting the atrocities worldwide in real time.

🔸️ Lebanon Targets Hezbollah and Opens Dialogue with Israel: Lebanese Information Minister Paul Morcos announced that the government has approved ending all armed presence across Lebanon — including Hezbollah — and has authorized indirect negotiations with Israel to demarcate land borders.

In response, Hezbollah supporters are calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. Meanwhile, Lebanese Army UAVs have been spotted flying over the Shia-majority Dahiyeh district, a Hezbollah stronghold.

[Ed.:  It sounds like Israel is resolutely going to end Hamas, and finally take control of Gaza (now that Trump gave Bibi permissions,) but now the plan is that once we “control Gaza’, we will turn it over to Arab powers to control.  This is because the IINO government is the Jewish People’s greatest enemy; the A-rabs are merely number two. But, IMHO, this too can change!  After all,  IINO doesn’t know what they’re doing, and doesn’t really have a real strategy after two years.  IINO will just do what Trump tells them to do, and do whatever they can to keep themselves in power.]

Bereaved Sister Accuses the State of Treason on October 7  [VIDEO  4:38]   Chananya Weissman

August 6, 2025

Tami Teshuva’s brother was murdered on October 7. On August 4 she had the opportunity to speak before the Knesset, and she sure didn’t mince words. She asked them damning questions and accused the regime of treason. The video of her speech is embedded above and on Rumble here.

Here is a partial English translation and summary:

1. At 1:30 AM the head of the Shabak evacuated a few operatives from border communities in advance of the invasion. Obviously he knew what was coming. So why wasn’t the music festival cleared out? She declared that the festival was conducted under bribery.

2. If there were sirens already at 6:29 AM, and there were soldiers in the bases, how long does it take a soldier to get up? If there are sirens, they are up, dressed, and ready to go in five minutes. Yet the soldiers were murdered in their underwear. What does this tell you? They weren’t murdered at 6:29. The invasion happened much sooner. And the soldiers were drugged — and not by Hamas. There was treason. It’s difficult to hear this, but there was treason.

Note: I interviewed investigative journalist Haim Yativ who corroborated this and shared video from Hamas of an attack on an IDF border base in the early hours of the night. The “official” video of the invasion after daybreak shows no resistance whatsoever, and the blood on the dead IDF soldiers had clearly dried over several hours. The official video was staged to support the official timeline, which is false.

See https://rumble.com/v59bjtp-r-and-b-amalek-and-erev-rav-73-haim-yativ-on-the-masterminds-behind-oct-7.html for the full interview and videos.

There is also a video from a while back of a Hamas fighter bragging that the IDF soldiers were drugged the night before.

3. A bereaved mother cried out that the air force committed treason against her murdered daughter. They did not come to rescue her.

4. Tami Teshuva continued with her demand for answers and insistence that she will receive them. She said she knows that IDF soldiers on patrol were warned not to approach the border fence until 9 AM (I wrote about this earlier this week as well and shared the recording of soldier testimony and the recording of the actual command being relayed over the radio). Who was behind this? She and all the other bereaved people have a right to know, and she demands to know.

5. Why are you attempting to deny that there was treason? (And why are so many conceited sheep still playing devil’s advocate so earnestly?)

6. There are so many interconnected events that it can’t all be coincidental. Where were the keys to the armories? Who took them?

Note: Leading up to October 7, many armed citizens in border communities had their weapons confiscated by the IDF, and during the attacks local defense teams were unable to access armories.

7. Where was the air force? Where was everyone for 8 hours? Suddenly everyone was asleep?

8. She noted that a mother in attendance had her daughter taken at 10 AM. Where was everyone? Where was everyone, when they could have saved her?

Someone called out that there was an oversight or failure. Ms. Teshuva rejected this. This was no failure. This was treason. And these people need to pay the price.

9. How is it that the head of the Shabak is not sitting in jail? There is no need for an investigative committee. What kind of craziness is it that someone who left his position can no longer be investigated? That’s what the IDF legal office said.

10. She concluded by saying that when there is a real investigation, not one conducted by the government, she will get answers.

🟩PAY FOR SLAY MILLIONAIRES, PM vs IDF CHIEF, AIR DROP AID INSPECTED?  And LEBANON PUNTS

August 6, 2025  Israel Realtime

▪️PAY FOR SLAY – Pal Media Watch has tallied up the amount of money paid by the Palestinian Authority to 734 terrorists released from prison as part of the Gaza hostage releases.  How much are they paid as part of the “pay-for-slay” program?

The amount paid increases based on how many Jews they killed.   316 mass murdering terrorists are now millionaires.

The grand total paid is $146,439,930 USD.

▪️ISRAELI EMBASSY GREECE – staff evacuated from their residences in Athens due to “escalating tensions” as the city allows Arab protestors to attack Jews and Israelis.

▪️PM vs IDF CHIEF OF STAFF – Netanyahu: We are going to occupy the Gaza Strip.  Chief Zamir: This could endanger hostages. Netanyahu: The way we tried so far hasn’t worked.  Chief Zamir: Why are you briefing against me? Why is your son writing against me?  Netanyahu: You can’t threaten to resign every time. And my son is thirty-three years old (and can say whatever he wants publicly).

▪️GAZA PLAN UPDATE?  (Amit Segal, Ch. 12) Trump is planning a speech in which he will propose the rehabilitation of Gaza under American leadership and with significant American funding, on the condition that Hamas leaves power.  The rationale: applying pressure from the population on Hamas.  The main opponent: Qatar, which supports rehabilitation without Hamas leaving.

▪️MILITARY DRILL – NAHARIYA – A military exercise will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) from morning hours until afternoon, in the Nahariya city area. As part of the exercise, there will be noticeable movement of security forces, vehicles, vessels, and aircraft in the area.  It’s a drill.

♦️LEBANON – TARGETED ELIMINATION – Reports indicate that Hossam Ghorab — a field liaison between Hezbollah and Iran’s Quds Force —was precisely targeted and eliminated in Brital, Baalbek, northern Lebanon. Ghorab was reportedly part of the logistics network of Unit 1900, a highly secretive IRGC unit responsible for smuggling arms to Iran’s regional proxies, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis.

♦️GAZA – MEDICAL CLINIC – which was acting as a military center: According to Gazan sources, the IDF struck an UNRWA clinic in the Maqousi area in the western part of Gaza City this evening, after an evacuation warning.\

♦️AIR DROPPED AID – INSPECTED?  (Ch. 14) Hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid are being airdropped by Arab and European countries into the Gaza Strip — without any Israeli inspection of their contents.  Checking with the IDF, COGAT, Shin Bet, and the Prime Minister’s Office—but all of them either passed the buck or ignored the question.

🇱🇧LEBANON PUNTS – Lebanese Prime Minister:  “The state is fully responsible for the security of the country, its borders, and the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. We have decided to continue the discussion regarding the paper presented by the American side (requiring Hezbollah disarming / turning their weapons over to the government).  The army has been tasked with preparing an implementation plan to institutionalize weapons under state control before the end of this year.”

During the meeting, two ministers from the Hezbollah organization and the Amal movement withdrew from the discussion due to their disagreement with the decision to limit weapons.

The Deliberate Downsizing of the IDF and the Myth of the Haredi Manpower Crisis    BY MORDECHAI SONES

Decades of cuts, a reliance on technology, and a catastrophic intelligence failure have exposed the core flaws of Israel’s defense posture, as the nation debates a scapegoat

AUGUST 6, 2025

For years, it was the symbol of Israeli ingenuity: a multi-billion dollar “smart fence” bristling with sensors, cameras, and automated machine guns. This technological marvel was the physical manifestation of a doctrine that had defined the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for a generation—the promise of a “small and smart army.”

Deliberate Strategy or Inadvertent Blunder?

The Doctrine’s Bitter Harvest

The Great Distraction: A Scapegoat in Black and White

A New Path, An Uncertain Future

Yet on October 7, 2023, the promise collapsed into a nightmare. Low-tech drones disabled its surveillance towers, bulldozers tore through its barriers, and a wave of Islamic attackers streamed into a nation that believed itself secure. The massacre of 1,200 people and the abduction of 250 more did not just expose a security failure; it shattered the foundations of a 30-year strategic gamble.

The question that has haunted Israel since is not merely how this happened, but why. Was this catastrophe an unforeseen blunder, the result of well-meaning leaders who simply misjudged the enemy? Or was it the inevitable, and perhaps even intended, outcome of a deliberate strategy that systematically prioritized economic ambition over military readiness?

The answer lies in a history of choices that hollowed out the IDF in favor of a leaner, tech-driven force. As Israel now grapples with the fallout, a furious debate over conscripting Haredi men has seized the national conversation. But this focus is a red herring—a convenient distraction from a far more disquieting truth: the IDF’s current crisis was not caused by those who were not serving, but by the very doctrine championed by those in charge.

The Genesis of a Seductive Idea

The “small and smart” doctrine was rolled out amidst talk of optimism and shifting geopolitics during the early 1990s. With the Cold War over, peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan on the horizon, and Iraq’s conventional army shattered in the Gulf War, then-Chief of Staff Ehud Barak championed a seductive vision. The age of massive tank battles was over, he argued. The future belonged to a lean, agile force built on intelligence, cyber warfare, and precision-guided munitions. The mass-conscript model that had defined Israel from its birth was, in his view, an expensive and inefficient relic.

This was not just a military theory; it was a national economic strategy. As Israel embraced neoliberal folly and rebranded itself as the “Start-Up Nation,” a large standing army was seen as a drain on human and financial capital. Why keep skilled technicians maintaining tanks when they could be fueling a high-tech boom? Over three decades, successive leaders—from Shaul Mofaz and Dan Halutz to Gadi Eisenkot and Aviv Kochavi—embraced and expanded this philosophy. Multi-year plans with reassuring names like Tefen (2012) and Gideon (2015) became the instruments of this transformation.

The cuts were relentless and deep. By 2015, 100,000 reservists were discharged, officer posts were eliminated, and entire armored brigades were shuttered. The IDF, which boasted a reserve force of 600,000 in the 1980s, shrank to just 465,000 by 2023, with only 170,000 active personnel.

Domestic production of everything from uniforms and boots to rifles and tank shells was outsourced, often to the United States. This move not only cut local costs but also cemented Israel’s access to $3.8 billion in annual American military aid—a critical pillar of the strategy.

The 2005 Gaza expulsion was the doctrine’s ultimate expression: ground forces were pulled out, bases were closed, and security was entrusted to the “smart fence” and the promise of airpower. It was sold to the Israeli public with knowing assurances willingly pushed in Israeli media that technology could contain threats from Gaza at a safe distance.

Deliberate Strategy or Inadvertent Blunder?

The dominant narrative portrays this 30-year downsizing as a series of well-meaning but flawed decisions. In this view, leaders like Barak and Eisenkot genuinely believed technology could substitute for manpower. They were not malicious, merely mistaken. They misjudged the adaptability of non-state actors like Hamas and Hezbollah and grew complacent after years of relative quiet on the borders. The 2006 Lebanon War, which exposed severe logistical and command weaknesses, should have served as a wake-up call, but the allure of the high-tech solution persisted. This “Inadvertent Outcomes Premise” suggests the failure of October 7 was born of hubris and miscalculation, not intent.

However, a more realistic premise argues that the hollowing out of the IDF was no accident. This “Deliberate Strategy Premise,” articulated in a series of critical analyses, posits that the “small and smart” army was a calculated policy by Israel’s elite to achieve specific political and economic goals, even if it meant accepting greater national security risks. The objective, this argument goes, was to untether Israel from its militaristic past and integrate it into a globalized, neoliberal world order. A smaller army freed up skilled labor for the booming tech sector, while outsourcing defense production strengthened economic and political ties with the United States.

According to this view, leaders understood the risks but deemed them acceptable. A leaner military, less capable of launching large-scale ground operations, was also less likely to get bogged down in costly occupations that could destabilize governments and alienate international partners.

The policy of allowing Qatar to fund Hamas, for example, can be seen not as well-meaning buffoonery, but as a deliberate strategy to prevent Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria while relying on technology to manage threats. In this light, the doctrine meant carelessly trading security for economic prosperity and diplomatic flexibility. The analysis goes further, suggesting this was a deliberate weakening of the state’s core function to align with a globalist vision, where national defense becomes secondary to economic integration.

The Doctrine’s Bitter Harvest

Whether by design or by blunder, the consequences of this doctrine were laid bare on October 7. The attack crystallized every flaw in the “small and smart” model. The detailed plan to breach the Gaza fence, codenamed “Jericho Wall,” was reportedly known to IDF intelligence for over a year. The Israelis, dealt by their leadership assurances by the shovelful of technological superiority, could not conceive that they could be defeated so easily.

When the border was breached, the absence of manpower was catastrophic. Automated systems failed, and the few soldiers stationed at the understaffed border posts were quickly overwhelmed. The response was delayed by hours as overstretched active units and undertrained reserve forces scrambled to mobilize.

The neglect of the ground forces was palpable. Soldiers arrived at the front lines to find shocking shortages of basic equipment, from ceramic plates to rifles, forcing some units to rely on civilian vehicles and donated gear. This occurred while Israel’s defense giants, enriched by the very outsourcing policies that gutted the ground forces, continued to post massive profits. The paradox was stark: an army capable of executing pinpoint airstrikes was unable to adequately equip its own soldiers for a ground war.

This was not an isolated event. The downsizing has created a military that excels in controlled, tech-driven scenarios but falters in chaotic, manpower-intensive conflicts. This explains the stunning successes in cyber warfare and airpower existing alongside the logistical failures in the 2006 Lebanon War and the “inability” to decisively defeat Hamas in Gaza.

Furthermore, the military’s rules of engagement, that prioritize international optics over battlefield effectiveness, have further demoralized and endangered ground troops, compounding the effects of the manpower shortage.

The Great Distraction: A Scapegoat in Black and White

In the aftermath of October 7, with the IDF stretched thin and mobilizing 360,000 reservists, the long-simmering issue of Haredi military exemptions exploded. A 2024 High Court ruling ended the blanket exemptions, and the ensuing political firestorm has framed the manpower shortage as a direct result of their refusal to serve.

But the numbers tell a different story. The IDF currently faces a shortfall of roughly 12,000 troops, including 7,000 in combat roles. The military itself admits it can only effectively integrate about 3,000 Haredi recruits annually due to the need for specialized, gender-segregated conditions. Even if every eligible Haredi man enlisted—a political and cultural impossibility—it would not fix the deep, structural deficits. Haredi resistance is rooted in the knowledge that Torah provides defense for the nation, while Israel’s infra-secular army is geared to destroying their way of life.

The Haredi draft is a convenient scapegoat. It allows the political and military establishment to deflect blame for the strategic failures of their “small and smart” doctrine. It is far easier to point fingers at a visible minority than to confront a 30-year policy that dismantled 28 armored brigades, slashed the artillery corps by 50%, and cut the reserve forces by 80% between 2003 and 2017.

The manpower shortage has also been used to justify pushing women into frontline combat roles, a move that creates new vulnerabilities while ignoring the root cause of the deficit. The real cause of the manpower crisis is not the yeshiva student in Jerusalem; it’s the empty barracks, the closed tank depots, and the abandoned training grounds that are the true legacy of the “small and smart” foolery.

A New Path, An Uncertain Future

Today, the IDF is at a turning point. Under Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, the “small and smart” doctrine is officially dead. A new “Independence Project” aims to restore domestic production of munitions, reducing the perilous reliance on American supply chains that became instruments of blackmail. Plans are allegedly underway to revive an armored brigade, establish a new infantry division, and fundamentally rethink border defense.

But reversing a 30-year trajectory is a monumental task. Rebuilding a military industrial base takes years. Restoring trust in a leadership that presided over the worst security catastrophe in the State’s history is even harder.

The core challenge is not merely logistical but philosophical. Without addressing the root causes—suicidal policies and reliance on technological placebos—Israel will repeat past tragedies.

The Haredi issue, while contentious, is not the core problem. Forcing their enlistment without addressing cultural concerns risks further alienation, and even full compliance would not solve the structural deficits created by decades of downsizing.

The IDF needs a new leadership committed to a balanced doctrine: maintaining tech advantages while restoring ground capabilities. This requires political will to reverse outsourcing, increase reserve training, and prioritize soldiers over contractors.

Only then can Israel resolve the paradox of an army that wins battles but loses wars.

The War Launched Upon Us, Pushing Us to a Greater Israel & the Global Power Shift: What the Media Won’t Tell You   by Topaz Ram

August 5, 2025  Pulse of Israel

For over a century, the Middle East was dictated by the whims of foreign empires, from Sykes-Picot to Oslo, and endless UN resolutions. But today, we are living through the collapse of that old world order, and it’s Israel, not Europe, leading the reshaping of the region.

Gone are the days of French and British hegemony. The Gaza war didn’t just shake Hamas, it shattered the crumbling dominance of Europe in the Middle East. What we’re witnessing now is an Israeli-American axis that isn’t asking for permission, it’s establishing the new reality.

Before October 7th, Europe still clung to influence via Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and the “palestinian” Arabs. Not anymore. America is handling the diplomacy. Israel is the military contractor. And together, we are not negotiating. We are determining outcomes.

Look at what “Iron Sword” war has already undone:

– The Iran Nuclear Deal? Dead.

– UN Resolution 1701 in Lebanon? Irrelevant.

– The Oslo Accords? Hanging by a thread.

– Even the dream of a unified Syria? Vanishing.

This is not just about military victories, it’s about changing the rules of the game. The Middle East is no longer a playground of world powers, it’s a battlefield undergoing massive reconstruction.

Iran is collapsing from within. Syria is fragmented. The Druze are quietly protected by Israel. Lebanon is paralyzed under U.S.-Israeli pressure. Gaza is being retaken. Egypt is economically suffocating. The Arab world is exposed. Turkey is economically limping.

And some of our Israeli elites still talk about “rebuilding Gaza”? Friends, the Middle East today is like an ER on Purim, full of chaos and broken pieces.

Meanwhile, the so-called “great powers” of the world are too busy falling apart:

* Europe is in existential crisis.

* Russia is in prolonged war.

* China is facing internal decay.

* The U.S. wants out of global conflicts.

Only one power remains active and rising in the regionIsrael, in strategic cooperation with America.

Sound familiar? It should. This is the exact vacuum in which the State of Israel was born, when the tired empires couldn’t maintain control, we rose to fill the void.

In 1967, we liberated our lands. In 2025, we are preparing to finally rule.

This is no longer just about territory. This is about regional management.

For the first time, Israel is not just defending itself, it is *organizing and shaping the future of the Middle East.

This isn’t Oslo. It’s not another round of “peace processes” destined to fail. This is a tectonic shift, the decline of the old colonial framework and the rise of Israeli strategic control.

Today, the battle is clear:

An exhausted, Islamist-progressive camp vs. Israel and America.

And the advantages are undeniable:

1. Israel is the strongest military and tech power in the region.

2. Israel is the most stable government in the Middle East.

3. U.S. backing means more than anything France or Europe can offer.

This combination = power.

And power = the ability to shape reality.

That’s why the Saudis are panicking, clinging to “the Palestinian state” idea, but even that is quickly losing relevance. America could easily reroute regional energy through Israel. The Europeans are rushing to “recognize Palestine” because they know, they’re losing control of the region.

The future of the Middle East is tied to one thing: energy.

Control the infrastructure, and you control the policy.

Once energy flows through Israel, Israel becomes one of the most important countries in the world. And in many ways, we already are.

Jordan and Egypt remain “stable” only because of Israeli alignment. Lebanon and Syria? Total loss.

We are playing this game wisely. Yes, every decision carries risk. And yes, there must be public debate. But history isn’t written by those who play it safe.

History is written like trading on the stock market:

The best trader isn’t the one who never loses.

He’s the one who knows how to maximize returns, to act coldly, strategically, and without emotional paralysis.

We must not stop this war.

On the contrary, we must push forward to total victory.

We didn’t start this war,but we will end it when we achieve dominance over our enemies so they can never attack us successfully again.

This is not about Trump. This is a convergence of factors:

* A broken Middle East

* Collapsing world powers

* A debt-ridden global economy

It’s time for a Jewish Riviera in Gaza,

A synagogue in Sweida (Biblical tribal land of Menachem, in Southern Syria)

And to finally look at the map and say with pride:

“Haifa is now the center of Israel.”

We are not returning to pre-October 7th.

We are not going backward.

We are shaping a Greater Israel, militarily, diplomatically, and spiritually to usher humanity, and the region, to a better more secure future.

This is our moment.

And with clarity, courage, and consistency, we will win.

Am Yisrael Chai!!!

BOMBSHELL SECRET IS OUT: JEWISH FEMALE SPY INFILTRATED IRANIAN REGIME AND REVEALED SOMETHING CHILLING  by Phil Schneider

August 3, 2025

When Israel pulls off one of the most amazing military victories against Iran in less than 2 weeks, it is due to many factors. One of the factors is certainly military superiority and planning. But perhaps the most significant factor is the victory on the level of clandestine activities against the Iranian regime. This interview sheds light on one branch of the amazing clandestine achievements that feature a brave young Jewish woman.

WATCH  [30:16]  Catherine Perez-Shakdam

Iran is a country with a majority of the population that does not support it’s leadership. Most of the people of Iran wish and pray for the day that the clock will be turned back to the days of the Shah’s leadership, before the radical Islamic revolution in 1979. Things were far from perfect back then. Corruption was quite common then too. However, Iran was a Western-oriented country that was becoming modernized more than most other countries in the Middle East. Life in Iran was rather peaceful and prosperous in the 60’s and 70’s. Then, the Ayatollahs took over, and it’s never been the same.

Whether Israel says it loud and clear or just hints, Israeli policy is clearly focused on regime change in Iran – but from the inside-out. Israel has no plans at all of overtaking and occupying Iran in any way. But, anything that Israel can do to influence internal revolt and Western support of the revolt, is certainly in the interest of the State of Israel.

Even after Israel’s massive bombardment of Iran that was followed up by the B-2 bombers of the United States finishing the job with tremendous precision and explosiveness, Iran’s leadership is still in the mindset of rebuilding their missile threat. The only thing that will eradicate the threat altogether is when the Iranian people will stand up and revolt against their radical Islamic leadership. This will probably only happen from within the ranks of the military. But even that is hard to imagine.

The key now is to go back to crippling Iran via economic sanctions that threaten Iran from the inside. Just as the Soviet Union fell apart due to a combination of internal Soviet corruption coupled with the economic prowess of the United States, the Iranian government may also be a candidate for an internal fall from power. But this requires sustained pressure over years, perhaps beyond the next few years of the 2nd Trump administration. Only then will Israel see the largest domino fall in Israel’s decades-long battle for safety and security from it’s Middle East foes.

Political Thalidomide: The Deliberate Corruption of Science and State   By Mordechai Sones

From the engineered lies of the Soviet lab to the calculated chaos of modern geopolitics, the path to our present catastrophes was not paved with good intentions, but with deliberate, deforming strategies

August 5, 2025

The Bitter Pill

In the late 1950s, a German pharmaceutical company, Chemie Grünenthal, executed a masterful market strategy. It launched a new sedative, thalidomide, as a “wonder drug” for anxiety, insomnia, and, most lucratively, morning sickness. The public was assured it was so astonishingly safe it could be sold without a prescription. It was presented as a gift to humanity.

But this gift was a calculated deception. The company’s strategy relied on suppressing inconvenient data and pushing claims of safety that its own flimsy testing could not support. The hidden horror within the drug—its ability to cause catastrophic birth defects—was not merely an unknown risk, but a factor deemed acceptable in the cold calculus of market domination. Across 46 countries, the strategy succeeded, and over 10,000 children were born with phocomelia—stunted, flipper-like limbs—the calculated, collateral damage of a successful business plan.

The thalidomide scandal was not a story of a mistake. It was a story of a deliberate strategy, where physical deformity was the known, acceptable price of intellectual and ethical corruption.

This dynamic—a poison knowingly marketed as a panacea to achieve a hidden objective—is not confined to the pharmacy. When the same calculated divergence between public rhetoric and actual policy is deployed at the level of the state, it becomes “political thalidomide.” It is a societal teratogen, a deforming agent administered to the body politic not by accident, but by design. Its purpose is to contort reality, reshape society, and give birth to outcomes that serve a hidden, strategic agenda. The blueprint for this process can be found in the very heart of the scientific enterprise, as diagnosed by a man who saw the rot not as a flaw, but as the system working as intended.

A Prophet in the Science Jungle

In 1967, biochemist Paul Saltman published a blistering critique of his profession titled “The Science Jungle.” He rejected the public image of the noble truth-seeker, revealing instead a system designed to reward not truth, but power. He described a world of frantic, cutthroat competition where the ultimate prize was status within an “egomaniacal” tribe. “The heroes are playing the big stage,” he wrote, “while the peasants are doing the Friday afternoon ten-minute talk in the men’s room.”

This system, Saltman argued, was not accidentally flawed; it was deliberately structured to produce a certain kind of scientist. Graduate school was “semi-slave labor” where professors, driven by the need for grants and publications, demanded data above all else. “I don’t give a damn if you love science,” was the prevailing ethos, “but grind out the numbers!” This process actively filtered out those motivated by joy and discovery, selecting instead for those willing to play the game. It produced “trivial scientists,” but more importantly, it created a culture where dishonesty was a viable career strategy.

The desperate desire to be a hero, Saltman explained, made cheating a feature, not a bug. “By God, you get a theory, it’s beautiful, you love it,” he wrote, “and if the colorimeter doesn’t just record the results you want, you sort of give the machine a little shove.” He recounted stories of faked data and stolen research not as aberrations, but as the logical endpoints of a system that incentivized victory over integrity. Saltman’s “jungle” was not a state of nature; it was a carefully cultivated garden designed to grow ambition and deceit. The corruption was the point. It was the training ground for a mindset that would prove immensely useful to those with power.

Orwell’s Warning: The Lie as a Political Strategy

Decades before Saltman diagnosed the jungle, George Orwell witnessed its ultimate political application. While his masterpiece, Nineteen Eighty-Four, was seeded by the geopolitical carving of the world into “zones of influence,” its central horror—the state’s power to enforce a lie—was inspired directly by a deliberate strategy of scientific corruption.

The architect of this strategy was Trofim Lysenko, a Soviet agronomist whose fraudulent theories were embraced by Joseph Stalin. Lysenko rejected genetics and claimed he could “train” crops to produce impossible yields. His science was nonsense, but his political utility was immense. Lysenkoism was a tool, a weapon to enforce ideological conformity and purge the state of independent thinkers. It was a deliberate strategy to demonstrate that the Party had power over objective reality itself.

The brilliant geneticist Nikolai Vavilov, who stood for real science, was declared an enemy of the people, tortured, and left to die of starvation in a Gulag. His elimination was not an injustice; it was a strategic objective. Across the Soviet Union, scientists were forced to publicly embrace Lysenko’s lies. This was the state holding a gun to the head of science, proving that if it could force its brightest minds to agree that wheat can become rye, it could force its citizens to accept any reality it chose to manufacture. The falsification of biology was the dress rehearsal for the falsification of everything. It was political thalidomide in its purest form: a lie administered to deform the mind of a nation.

The Numbers Don’t Lie, But the System Is Designed To

For years, one could dismiss Saltman’s jungle as cynicism and Lysenkoism as a uniquely totalitarian evil. Then, in 2005, a paper by John P. A. Ioannidis, “Why Most Published Research Findings Are False,” revealed that the machinery for producing convenient falsehoods was built into the very structure of modern science.

Ioannidis used mathematics to show how factors like researcher bias, small study sizes, and the overwhelming pressure for positive results create a system where false findings are not the exception, but the norm. From the perspective of a “Deliberate Strategy Premise,” his work is not merely a description of a flawed system; it is an exposé of a system of information control. “Publication bias”—the fact that journals prefer exciting, positive results—is not a passive flaw. It is an active filtering mechanism. It ensures that research aligning with the interests of funders and institutions is amplified, while inconvenient, negative, or null results are systematically buried.

The “publish or perish” culture Saltman decried is the engine of this machine. It incentivizes the rapid production of data, overwhelming the system’s capacity for verification and replication. A single, strategically useful but false study can be laundered into accepted fact. This is not a system for finding truth; it is a system for manufacturing consensus. It is a sophisticated machine for generating the “scientific” justification for any policy or product a powerful entity wishes to promote.

From the Lab to the Ledger: A Strategy of Reckless Disregard

The late Dr. Jay Cavanaugh, a former member of the California State Board of Pharmacy, saw the lethal endpoint of this strategy in the pharmaceutical industry. In his essay “Reckless Disregard,” he casts industry executives not as misguided healers, but as architects of a deliberate and deadly business model. “This collection of serial killers,” he wrote, “extinguishes the hopes and lives of over 100,000 Americans every year.”

Cavanaugh argued that for these entities, human death is not a tragic side effect but a calculated operating expense. “At least the psychotics Manson and Gacy were aware at some level that they were killers,” he charged. “Not the drug companies. To them, the deaths are nothing more than the unavoidable collateral damage in the war on disease and the pursuit of earnings.”

This is the commercial application of the “Deliberate Strategy.” The pressure to “grind out the numbers” in the lab becomes the strategy to generate blockbuster profits. The “shove” on the colorimeter becomes the multi-billion dollar marketing campaign based on selectively published data. He described a world where regulatory bodies act as partners, not watchdogs, and where universities are “co-opted by the drug cartel” to produce research that serves profit, not public health. The system is not broken; it is a finely tuned machine for converting human suffering into shareholder value.

Monsters in the Medicine Cabinet

The official history of the thalidomide scandal casts it as a tragic mistake, an unforeseeable accident of science. The historical record, however, reveals a story of deliberate strategy.

From the outset, the company’s plan was to dominate the market by rushing the drug out on flimsy evidence and aggressively marketing its unsubstantiated safety. When numerous reports emerged that the drug was causing serious, irreversible nerve damage in adults, the company’s strategy was not to investigate, but to suppress the data and discredit the doctors reporting it.

In this context, the subsequent wave of catastrophic birth defects was not an accident. It was the direct and foreseeable consequence of a business model that had already accepted severe human harm as an acceptable price for profit. The physical deformities were the inevitable birth from a womb of calculated intellectual and moral corruption.

The Birth of Political Thalidomide

Now, let us return to Orwell and Lysenko. If pharmaceutical thalidomide is the offspring of a corrupt commercial strategy, then Lysenkoism is the archetype of political thalidomide. It is the deliberate administration of a deforming ideology to achieve a hidden strategic objective. The public is told the policy is a vitamin for national health, but its architects know it is a teratogen designed to reshape the body politic. Its purpose is to create a controlled, manageable, and ultimately useful deformity.

Orwell saw this and predicted its geopolitical endpoint: a world carved into superstates locked in perpetual conflict, each a self-contained ideological universe demanding total conformity. Today, we see his vision materializing in a new global triad: the Western alliance, the Russo-Iranian axis, and the Chinese superpower. Within these blocs, the truth is no longer a goal but a strategic asset, and dissent is not a right but a threat to national security. This is the fertile ground where new and virulent strains of political thalidomide are engineered and deployed.

Our Deformed Reality: A Creature of Design

This brings us to the modern Middle East, and the case of Israel. Viewed through the lens of “inadvertent consequences,” Israeli policy often appears paradoxical or self-defeating. But through the lens of the “Deliberate Strategy Premise,” the contradictions resolve into a coherent, if chilling, design. The apparent paradox of a state that has, at times, allegedly enabled the rise of the very forces it claims to be fighting—such as the early tolerance or even encouragement of Hamas as a counterweight to the PLO—is no paradox at all. It is the core of the strategy.

This is political thalidomide in action. The strategy is not to achieve a stated goal like “peace” or “a two-state solution,” but to create and manage a state of controlled conflict. A fractured, radicalized, and dependent Palestinian leadership is not a failure of Israeli policy; it is the policy’s primary achievement. It provides the permanent justification for security measures, for totalitarian control, and for maintaining a specific political order internally. The chaos is not a bug; it is the feature. The deformity—a perpetual state of war—is the intended design.

The attacks of October 7th, therefore, were not a “failure of imagination” or a “shock” to a system that had blinded itself. They were the horrific, but entirely predictable, culmination of a long-term strategy of cultivating a monster at one’s border. A strategy of political thalidomide, administered over decades, will inevitably give birth to a monstrous reality. The event was not the failure of the policy; it was the policy’s horrifying success, providing the ultimate pretext for a new phase of a long-planned geopolitical project. The historical horror was not an accident born of delusion, but the inevitable birth from a deliberately poisoned political womb.

The Antidote to Deformity

We are living in the world that Paul Saltman and George Orwell warned us about. The “science jungle” has merged with the political jungle to create a system where deliberate deception is the lingua franca of power.

Brothers and sisters, we live in the age of political thalidomide. It is administered daily as state-sponsored disinformation and as calculated policy designed to produce outcomes that contradict its public justification. It promises security and stability, but its hidden function is to create the deformities—the conflicts, the divisions, the chaos—that serve the unstated goals of its architects.

The antidote is not simply to seek truth, but to expose strategy. It requires rejecting the premise of inadvertent consequences and looking for the hidden design behind the apparent chaos. It requires protecting the dissenters and whistleblowers who reveal the divergence between public rhetoric and actual policy. It demands that we, as citizens, develop the courage to see the world not as a series of unfortunate accidents, but as a landscape shaped by deliberate, often malevolent, design.

The choice is ours. We can continue to swallow the political thalidomide offered to us, accepting the official narratives while the world contorts into ever more grotesque shapes. Or we can spit out the pill, identify the poison and its purpose, and begin the arduous work of healing the Creator’s world that has been deliberately deformed.

AG Miara faces harsh rebuke from judges: ‘What do you wish to hide?’

In a rare rebuke, Justices Sohlberg and Willner fault AG Miara for inadequate answers and allege concealment of critical legal and factual information.

Aug 5, 2025, 8:02 AM (GMT+3)  Israel National News – Deputy Supreme Court President Justice Noam Sohlberg and Justice Yael Willner voiced some uncharacteristically harsh criticism against Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara.

i24News legal correspondent Avishai Grinzaig revealed that during a hearing on a petition by the Bochrim Bahaim (Choosing Life) Forum asking to instruct the Attorney General to launch an investigation into the leak of sensitive government information, Justice Willner hinted that Miara’s claims were false.

The judge accused the Attorney General’s representative at the hearing of intentional deception. After the prosecutor apologized if she was not accurate, Willner responded: “There’s a difference; it’s not that you were inaccurate, you said things that were incorrect.”

Justice Sohlberg lambasted the Attorney General’s conduct, citing her lack of substantive answers and inaction. “I don’t remember such a thing during all my years on the court. What do you wish to hide? Behind these matters lies a serious issue — not just anything, but leaks on grave security affairs. This is a serious matter. The feeling here is uneasy, like they’re hiding factual and legal details from us. Avoiding the investigation of leaks harms Israeli security.”

The Attorney General did not comment on the report.

PM Netanyahu Seeking Cabinet Approval For Complete Takeover Of Gaza, Tells IDF Officers To Resign If They Don’t Agree

August 4, 2025  Yeshiva World News

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is reportedly preparing to seek full cabinet approval for a sweeping plan to completely occupy the Gaza Strip.

According to multiple Hebrew media outlets, Netanyahu told ministers this week that “the die is cast” and vowed to push ahead with a total military takeover of Gaza — even in areas where hostages are believed to be held. The move would override the objections of top defense officials, including IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, who reportedly warned that such a campaign could take years and jeopardize the lives of hostages still held by Hamas.

A senior source close to the prime minister was quoted saying, “If the chief of staff doesn’t agree, he should resign.”

The IDF currently controls about 75% of Gaza. Full occupation would mean reentering densely populated areas and establishing a long-term military presence — a step the army views as untenable without endangering both Israeli soldiers and civilians.

The proposed plan has sparked a bitter divide within Israel’s war cabinet. Hardline ministers and officials, including Itamar Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich, and Ron Dermer, support the move, while security chiefs — including Mossad head David Barnea, Shin Bet officials, and Zamir himself — have urged continued negotiations and hostage talks.

Netanyahu’s reported stance marks a notable shift, aligning more closely with far-right coalition demands and risking further alienation from military leadership. Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar have reportedly not committed to either side.

Zamir canceled a planned U.S. trip this week amid the deepening rift. An IDF source cited the ongoing hostage crisis and lack of ceasefire as reasons for the decision, signaling the intensity of internal disagreement.

Meanwhile, both Israel and the U.S. are said to be pivoting away from interim hostage deals toward a broader ceasefire framework that includes total Hamas disarmament and demilitarization of Gaza. U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff told hostage families Saturday there would be “no more partial deals,” saying that any future negotiations would seek the release of all hostages and an end to the war.

Still, the likelihood of Hamas agreeing to such terms appears slim. A senior Israeli source told Haaretz last week that there is “little chance” the group will accept Israel’s ultimatum.

[Ed.:  Trump said to end it soon.  Necessity is the mother of invention!

Who Canceled the Border Patrols on October 7?   CHANANYA WEISSMAN

And when did “just following orders” become acceptable?

AUG 04, 2025  [Opinion]

The good news is that tonight was the first class in my new series, prophetic teachings from Rav Elchonon Wasserman, and it was fire. The bad news is that I messed up and failed to record it. So Thursday at 9:05 PM Israel time will be a repeat of today’s class (apologies to the live participants). The link to register for the classes is https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/sj2ws45FThCroxGDQYwB6w#/registration.

I previously shared video testimony from Sergeant Shalom Shitrit before the Knesset. Shitrit fought valiantly on October 7, but was gravely injured and lost a leg (you can read about it here). The video is now available with English subtitles on Rumble here and embedded above.

Shitrit recounted that at 5:20 AM on October 7, deputy battalion commander Nir Boinfeld (who was also seriously injured, but survived) got on the radio and relayed orders to cancel all patrols by the fence until 9 AM.

Boinfeld added: “I don’t know exactly why. I don’t ask too many questions. That’s the directive. That’s what we do.”

Shitrit and his comrades were similarly baffled by these orders, but, like Boinfeld, he was trained well. The first thing they teach children in school is that if you have to use the bathroom, you raise your hand and wait for permission, or else. If necessary, go in your pants. The first thing they teach you in the army is that you are nothing, and you do what you’re told, or else. If necessary, get blown up for nothing. It’s all for the greater good.

“And you know,” said Shitrit, “we’re simple soldiers, just combatants, not commanders or officers who can ask questions. It’s an order from the deputy battalion commander. We take the order and don’t ask questions.”

“Just following orders” is not the credo of a Jewish army, to put it mildly. So let’s stop pretending the IDF is a Jewish army already, and let’s stop pretending anything about this is a mitzvah.

Cannon fodder can’t ask questions, or there wouldn’t be cannon fodder.

What I find especially interesting is that this unfortunate soul, and so many like him, continue to dance around the stark reality that is staring them in the face. They express a vague desire to “understand what happened on October 7”, while cautioning that we shouldn’t jump to conclusions.

There is only one sensible conclusion to draw from an order to cancel border patrols precisely when truckloads of executioners rolled right in and committed a genocidal massacre, especially when there has been zero accountability nearly two years later.

The sensible conclusion is not that this was an “intelligence failure” or an attempt to make Bibi look bad. Seriously, why did anyone ever believe that nonsense?

They are relentlessly brainwashed and gaslighted, that’s why. Shitrit even doubted his own memory and logic until the recording of Boinfeld’s radio message became public, and he could no longer doubt that the order was given and it made no sense. That’s the power of the psychological warfare being waged on the public every moment of every day.

Even now, this tragic victim and so many like him hedge and refuse to “jump to conclusions”, pleading to the very people who betrayed them to find out what happened, someday.

There is a very simple question that neither Shitrit nor anyone in the media asked: Who gave the actual orders to cancel the patrols?

Boinfeld only relayed the order. He was a middle manager, a buffer, like when you’re chatting with customer service and ask for a supervisor. The supervisor is just an illusion of authority; he’s not a serious decision maker.

So whose idea was it? And who were they working for? Names, please. Not after the war is over and we’re all living happily ever after. Right now. Before another order is given or another mission is undertaken.

It’s the most obvious question in the world.

If we had a functioning media that wasn’t a propaganda wing of the regime, with government operatives in studios conducting the interviews, they would hound Boinfeld and everyone up the chain of command until they got names and answers. The question “Who gave the orders?” would be the main headline in every newspaper and the lead story on every newscast, demanding not just accountability but justice.

If we lived in a democracy, investigative journalists wouldn’t lose their jobs, their freedom, and quite possibly their lives if they pursued those responsible. If we lived in an actual Jewish state, with Torah as the law of the land, everyone responsible would be seeking a city of refuge, at the very minimum.

But we don’t have a functioning media, a democracy, or anything resembling a true Jewish state. We have an Amalekite/Erev Rav/globalist dictatorship, where people can be imprisoned indefinitely without being charged with a crime, where innocent people can have false confessions tortured out of them, where your most basic rights and freedoms can be snatched away at any time (for your own protection), where there is just enough semblance of democracy and Judaism to keep both the secular and religious masses deluded, no matter how bad it gets, no matter how clear it gets. (Don’t kid yourself; the rest of the world is the same, with only cultural differences.)

Who was responsible for canceling the border patrols precisely when they were needed most? And why didn’t anyone think to ask?

The following is not satire:

Kfir fighters were ordered to collect garbage in Khan Yunis under threat of mortar shells; IDF: “Maintaining hygiene” (see the link for a short video)

Fighters in the Kfir Brigade were ordered to collect trash from the front of the defensive position where they were stationed — in an area under threat from snipers and mortars in Khan Yunis, i24NEWS military correspondent Yinon Shalom Yatach reported for the first time today (Monday). The fighters’ parents were furious: “A mortar landed there just yesterday,” the IDF claimed: “Maintaining hygiene is essential.”

According to the soldiers’ parents, this was a “dangerous and unnecessary” operation. They claim that the soldiers even protested to their commanders and asked to cancel the mission, but to no avail.

On Saturday morning, a mortar shell was fired and landed exactly at the point where the soldiers were required to carry out the collection. The IDF said that the launch site from which the shooting was carried out was subsequently attacked, but the area is still considered exposed and dangerous, and the terrorist who carried out the shooting was not eliminated.

I love it. Meanwhile, the IDF is fine with soldiers wearing second-hand underwear from the US Army, begging for toilet paper, and not showering for weeks on end. When will they give soldiers orders to shovel each other into ovens?

Seriously, if they came out and said openly “We hate you and we want to get you killed on purpose”, people would still say it’s a mitzvah to fight, so whatever.

Meanwhile, I got a letter in the mail today that they’re jacking up arnona again every year until 2029, more than the automatic increases that we should expect every year just because.

Remind me again why people who aren’t slaves have to pay the government every year for the privilege of having a roof over their heads. Isn’t property ownership — really owning a home that people in uniforms with weapons can’t confiscate if you don’t pay them forever and ever — a basic human right? Isn’t the government supposed to work for us, to help preserve and increase our wealth, and not the reverse?

Why do you have to pay the government a huge chunk of your income, and then pay them sales tax every time you spend some of the money they already taxed? When does your money and property truly, completely belong to you? You were born into slavery, so you’re used to it, but you should really think about this sometime, instead of whatever the person on the screen is telling you to care about right now.

This is definitely not democracy or Judaism…it’s Eisav.

Here’s a Torah class about it: The Slavery of Taxation, and the Torah Way.

Sharp comment from Rabbi Michoel Green:

The most bizarrely deranged people on earth is the Israeli left, on one hand protesting the IDF for war crimes in Gaza and on the other hand demonizing the haredim for the crime of not serving in the IDF.

Are these folks for real?

PS: I’m referring to the indoctrinated masses. With regards to govt., right and left are equally democidal.

IDF soldiers who have no compunctions about shooting harmless, defenseless Jewish “settlers” are never sent into death traps in Gaza. They are far too valuable to the regime.

Stop supporting your enemies.

🟦HEATWAVE WARNING, GAZA PLANS, HAMAS SAYS, ARTISTS DIVIDE, AG DISMISSAL, HEZBOLLAH PREPARES

August 4, 2025  Israel Realtime

⚠️HEATWAVE INCOMING – starting late Thursday, full strength Friday through Tuesday.  Described as ‘extreme heat load’, possibly record breaking.

🇮🇱GAZA PLANS – The decision has been made, we are going to occupy the Gaza Strip immediately, – Israeli Channel 12 reports.

.. Netanyahu: I will convene the cabinet this week to instruct the IDF on how to achieve the 3 goals we set. We must continue to fight together.

.. Sources close to Netanyahu confirm: ”The die is cast, we are heading for a decisive victory and full conquest of the Strip. If the Chief of Staff doesn’t agree – he should resign.”  ( The reason for this “doesn’t agree” statement – the military leadership is strongly against active occupation  & hostile population control due to the history of attacks and friction in Gaza & Gush Katif with tens of soldier deaths per year.  Yet no other possible success option has been presented. )

.. IDF Chief cancels a planned trip to the U.S.

▪️HAMAS SAYS – Commander in Hamas’ rocket force: ‘If there is one regret about the Oct. 7 invasion – it is that we did not take 3,000 prisoners instead of 251’.

🇷🇺PM NETANYAHU & PUTIN – Netanyahu & Putin speak via telephone today.  No further info released.

▪️POLITICS, ARTISTS DIVIDE THE OPPOSITION – We wrote earlier in the week about an artists letter against the war.  Opposition leader Lapid joins action who was wounded on reserve duty Idan Amadi’s criticism of the “Artists’ Petition” against the war in Gaza, alleging war crimes, and says:  “Idan knows what is happening in Gaza better than them. I didn’t like the petition, it explains what those who hate Israel say about us – without explaining the other side.”

.. MK Kriv (Labor – The Democrats): “This is not the time to condemn those who courageously stand up against this government. This era is not one of broad agreements, it is an era of decisions.”

.. One of the artists retracts his signature from the artists’ petition and apologizes for accusing the IDF of starvation.

▪️POLITICS, DISMISSAL OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL – The government has now unanimously approved the proposal to immediately end the tenure of Attorney Gali Baharav-Miara as the Attorney General.

Justice Minister: “Contrary to everything claimed in the AG’s letter, the government underwent a very long process before we reached today’s discussion. For a very long time, attempts were made to work with her cooperatively.  The process regarding her lasted several months.  She was given every opportunity to present her position. She did not address the claims substantively at any stage.

The AG claims that because of the Prime Minister’s trial, the government is prevented from firing her. There is a very dangerous hint here, according to which the AG supposedly holds the Prime Minister’s trial to prevent the government from firing her.

Her dismissal has nothing to do with the Prime Minister’s trial at all. There is no mention of it throughout the entire process. All the many arguments do not relate to the Prime Minister’s trial at all.”

.. Opposition party Yesh Atid petitions the High Court agains the dismissal.

.. High Court grants issues a temporary restraining order pausing the dismissal. For now, she will remain in her position and no replacement may be appointed.

▪️POLITICS, THE REMOVAL OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS & DEFENSE CHAIRMAN EDELSTEIN – “Today’s vote is the final nail in the coffin of the conscription law.  The conscription law will not pass the Knesset; I personally prevented the draft evasion law.”

▪️TAX DISCOUNT FOR RESERVISTS – The government approved today the granting of income tax credit points to reservists according to the number of days they served. Fighters will be able to receive up to 4 credit points (deductions) per year.

▪️ARMY SERVICE EXTENSION RELEASED – The Chief of Staff decided to cancel the decision that kept fighters on Order 8 (immediate reserve duty) for 4 months immediately after regular service discharge – a practice that has been in effect since the beginning of the war (as of November).  The reason given for the decision was that the extension of service caused unhealthy damage to the units.

However, soldiers in special forces units who are currently in training will be required to serve an additional four months as “career soldiers.” This is set to begin in March 2027.  And longer for reconnaissance and command units.

HISTORIC SYNAGOGUE in the Ukraine damaged by Iranian built Russian suicide drone attack.

♦️AIR DROPPED AID KILLS one in Gaza.  Not the first time, usually the result of a parachute failing to open with a multi-ton crate landing on someone at high speed.

♦️DAVID’S SLING – Israel’s mid-tier missile and drone defense system tested upgrades today.  Considered a success and significant improvement.

🇱🇧HEZBOLLAH PREPARES – Arab media: Hezbollah is taking practical steps in preparation for a broad confrontation with Israel – including setting up logistical warehouses, distributing aid in Shiite villages, and preparing on the ground in northern Lebanon. There is significant tension in many areas of southern Lebanon, and the organization’s leaders are making militant statements.

The US and Israel, disappointed by Lebanon’s response to Western proposals, are considering a strong response, especially in light of the imminent decision regarding the renewal of the UNIFIL mandate.

Lebanon will convene tomorrow to decide on disarming Hezbollah, but opposition from the Shiite axis could lead to internal escalation – and might even justify a broad Israeli military action if no resolution is reached.

In the meantime, Israel continues daily pinpoint attacks against Hezbollah.

🇮🇷RUSSIA WARNS IRAN – Russia has sent an unusual message to Tehran, warning of a possible joint military attack by the US and Israel on Iranian soil, which could take place in the near future.  Moscow sent the message through direct diplomatic channels, expressing ‘serious concern about an uncontrolled regional escalation’.

🌎WORLD NEWS OF NOTE – The Russian Federation no longer considers itself bound by the moratorium on the deployment of ground-based medium and shorter-range missiles – Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.

🔘ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT, HAMAS TENT IN TEL AVIV? GOVT BY LAWYER, and HEZBOLLAH vs LEBANON

August 4, 2024  Israel Realtime

SUICIDE DRONE fired by the HOUTHIS to KILL JEWS, entered Israel from the Sinai through Egypt – alert in Bnei Netzarim.  Intercepted.

▪️MK’s ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT – besides Minister Ben Gvir praying on the Temple Mount earlier today, MK Shekalim from Likud did as well this afternoon, including full prostration (which can only be performed on the Temple Mount per Jewish practice).

.. JORDAN PROTESTS – “The invasion of the extreme Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir into the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the auspices of the Israeli police constitutes a blatant violation of international and humanitarian law. Israel has no sovereignty over it. This is an unacceptable provocation and escalation that must be condemned.”

.. Over 3,500 Jews ascended to the Temple Mount today.

▪️HAMAS TENT SET UP IN TEL AVIV ON TISHA b’AV – This morning, Sunday, Tisha B’Av, a protest camp was set up in the heart of Tel Aviv, with the approval of the municipality, entitled “Enough of the War, Enough of the Hunger, Enough of the Destruction.”

The Tel Aviv municipality approved the placement of the camp, which joins the “starvation campaign” of left-wing organizations calling for an end to the war in Gaza.

“We will stand up to the government’s cruel policy of collective punishment, to the deliberate starvation of millions of people, to the repeated bombings that leave children dead, women buried under rubble, and entire communities in continuous obliteration.”

▪️UK FOREIGN SECRETARY SAYS – The images of hostages shown for propaganda purposes are disgusting.  All hostages must be released unconditionally. Hamas must disarm and not take control of Gaza. – – – ( Well that was unusually straightforward. ) “This must start with an immediate ceasefire, which will release the hostages, as well as the removal of inhumane aid restrictions.”  ( Oh well, got it backwards as usual. )

▪️GOVT BY LAWYERS OR BY ELECTED MEMBERS?  The Knesset legal advisor: It is necessary to avoid replacing the chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee for political reasons. The move may lead to the disqualification of the conscription law in the Supreme Court. ( An unelected lawyer instructs the ELECTED MULTI-PARTY PARLIAMENT that it can’t do things for political reasons??? That’s literally its purpose! )

.. Analysis by Amit Segal, Ch. 12: The starting point of Likud and the Haredim in every legislative process was to pass only a (draft) law that the Knesset’s legal counsel would defend in the Supreme Court.  A significant blow to the chances that this will happen (blowing the chances for a reasonable path to passing any legislation on the topic of the draft.)

🇱🇧HEZBOLLAH vs LEBANESE GOVT – Hezbollah intends to boycott a discussion in the Lebanese government meeting regarding the organization’s disarmament

.. Iranian government channel posts: “The U.S. and Zionist regime are attempting to impose a disarmament deadline for Hezbollah. If Muslim leaders – from Arabs to Turkey – had any sense, they’d block this aggression. Hezbollah is the only shield against ‘Greater Israel.’”

🌎WORLD ECONOMIC NEWS OF NOTE – OPEC+ countries have agreed to increase oil production by 548,000 barrels per day starting in September, a move aimed at stabilizing the market amid concerns about U.S. pressure on countries that buy Russian oil.  Expect oil prices to fall.

According to Baharav-Miara, if anyone were to dictate to her what to do and if (Heaven forbid) Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were to determine the agenda for the heads of the civil service or the Israel Security Agency (the Shin Bet) appointed to promote government policy, our country would be irrevocably changed.

In the AG’s fantasy world, the reality in which the prime minister and the Cabinet ministers actually run the country constitutes an imminent threat. According to her political theory, the government’s attempts to implement its policy and appoint people in line with its viewpoint will collapse the country. In Baharav-Miara’s version of democracy, elections may be allowed, but their outcomes must not have any impact unless she grants her approval.

This wasn’t always the case. In the past, the government bore responsibility for its decisions, for better or worse. Legal counsel assisted the government in promoting its policies within the framework of the law. In those not-so-far-off days, there was an argument about the scope of the authority of legal advisers, but there was never an actual attempt to end an AG’s term prematurely.

Times have changed. The AG believes she enjoys absolute independence; she sees herself as independent of government decisions, and is striving to become independent of the law itself. As far as she is concerned, it no longer matters what was written into law or even what was decided in court.

She no longer assists the government but rather oversees it, which is why she insists that it is incumbent upon the state to grant her full independence to pursue her own agenda. At her own discretion, she refused to appear before the government and Knesset committees she was summoned to and saw fit to scold Justice Noam Sohlberg for not issuing an injunction against the committee tasked with examining whether or not conditions had been met for her dismissal.

In the legal opinion she circulated, she explained that since there was no way to fire her, she took it upon herself to refuse the committee’s summons, despite the fact that the Supreme Court had rejected her position and refrained from granting an injunction to prevent the committee’s convention.

There is a reason no other democracy in the world has an AG or head of an intelligence agency who thinks they must be completely independent or that no elected official should be allowed to oversee them, set them tasks or terminate their employment when they explicitly follow their own program.

The accepted, proper arrangement is, in fact, the exact opposite. In all other democracies, the counterparts of Baharav-Miara and Ronen Bar (who served as the director of the Israeli Security Agency until June 15, 2025) would never conceive of renouncing all subordination. This was also the case in Israel back when the legislature regulated the matter.

The law explicitly states that the government is authorized to end the tenure of both the AG and the ISA director. Even after the 1997 Bar-On-Hebron scandal, the government followed the Shamgar Commission’s recommendations and stipulated that in the case of a fundamental and ongoing lack of cooperation preventing a working relationship, an AG’s term in office can be prematurely ended. But our current AG cares not. She is attempting to persuade Israeli citizens that if she isn’t independent, no one else is either.

It is no coincidence that even High Court justices see Baharav-Miara’s oppositional stance as excessive. In recent years, she has lost several cases in which she refused to represent the government, and the number of times the government acts in contravention of her opinion is growing.

Just recently, Justice Alex Stein explained in a live broadcast that the prime minister may act against her opinion; her opinion on David Zini’s appointment as ISA director was rejected; and Sohlberg did not order a suspension of her impeachment process. Still, the AG steamrolls on. She might be hoping to get lucky with a sympathetic court panel, or maybe the applause from protest movement radicals has misled her.

For now, Baharav-Miara is caught in a whirlwind. The fundamental disagreements between her and the government are increasing, preventing effective cooperation and harming us all.

Thus, the condition stipulated in the Shamgar Commission and anchored in Israeli law is being fulfilled and it is precisely why the Israeli government does have the authority to force the dismissal of a sitting AG and why the government is attempting to do so for the first time in its history. The Cabinet is set to vote on dismissing Baharav-Miara in its next meeting.

🛡️ FROM SURVIVING TO DEFINING: ISRAEL MUST BREAK THE CYCLE OF REACTIVITY

🕑 August 1, 2025, 6:00 PM (Israel time) Israel Realtime

Op-Ed by David Cozocaru: Admin of Israel Realtime

🧠 ISRAEL MUST LEAD—NOT JUST SURVIVE

Nearly 22 months have passed since the October 7 massacre—the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust. Over 1,200 civilians and soldiers were murdered. Entire families were incinerated. Babies were decapitated. Women were gang-raped—some beside the bodies of their children. Holocaust survivors were dragged bleeding into captivity. Soldiers were executed in their sleep.

More than 250 civilians and soldiers were abducted into Gaza. Fifty hostages remain. Children. Parents. Elderly. Holocaust survivors. Forgotten by the world.

Held underground in Hamas tunnels, they are denied sunlight, medicine, and increasingly, food. Many are now being left to starve in darkness, while Hamas leaders dine on stolen humanitarian aid. There is food in Gaza—Hamas has it. The hostages do not.

And yet, international pressure focuses on Israeli restraint rather than the survival of these innocent hostages.

🎗️ 22 MONTHS. 50 HOSTAGES. GLOBAL SILENCE.

Where is the outrage?

Where is the Red Cross?

Where are the international journalists?

If these hostages were European, UN planes would be landing daily.

But they are Jewish. So they are ignored.

Their families live in torment.

The world scrolls on.

We must not.

🏛️ THE UN PREPARES TO RECOGNIZE A PALESTINIAN STATE—WHILE HOSTAGES REMAIN IN GAZA

Next month, at the UN General Assembly, global leaders are preparing to formally recognize a Palestinian state.

Not to demand the release of hostages.

Not to sanction Hamas.

Not to investigate the October 7 massacre.

But to reward terror.

How can statehood be granted while victims of mass murder still rot in tunnels?

What message does this send other than: “Massacre Jews, get borders”?

This is not a peace plan.

It is appeasement.

It is the political legitimization of barbarism.

💥 THIS IS A REGIONAL WAR—NOT JUST GAZA

This war didn’t begin in Gaza—and it won’t end there. Israel is battling a coordinated, Iran-backed, eight-front assault:

1. Gaza – Hamas fights like a militia and continues to regroup.

2. Judea and Samaria – Iran and Hamas incite armed cells to destabilize from within.

3. Lebanon – Hezbollah has paused mass rocket fire, but Israel continues striking operatives daily.

4. Syria – Iranian militias are embedded and preparing for future escalation.

5. Yemen – The Houthis launch long-range missiles, including a direct strike on Ben Gurion Airport.

6. Cyberwarfare – Iranian proxies target Israel’s healthcare, civil, and military systems.

7. Information warfare – Hamas dominates global media. Israel lags behind.

8. Iran itself – A 12-day war saw Iran firing missiles—including nuclear-capable ones—from its own soil. The war ended, but the nuclear threat remains. The region sits on a powder keg.

This is not a border dispute.

This is a fight for survival.

And by extension, a defense of the West’s values.

ISRAEL MUST GO ON OFFENSE—WITH VISION AND CLARITY

The lessons of October 7 must become action.

No more defense-only. No more reactive strategy.

Here’s what Israel must do:

1. Reframe the War

Stop calling it a “conflict.” This is a multi-front war against Iranian imperialism.

2. Put the Hostages First

Every speech, every press conference, every foreign meeting should start with:

“There are still 50 hostages in Gaza—children, soldiers, Holocaust survivors.”

3. Enforce Red Lines

If Hezbollah rebuilds—strike.

If the Houthis attack Tel Aviv—respond decisively.

Proportionality is a Western luxury. Deterrence is our oxygen.

4. Launch a 24/7 AI Response Unit

Israel needs a multilingual, real-time task force to detect disinformation, counter propaganda, and empower allies with verified truth.

5. Own the Humanitarian Narrative

Israel sends food into Gaza.

Hamas steals it.

Film it. Share it. Don’t stay silent.

6. Mobilize the Jewish Diaspora and Global Allies

Silence abroad weakens us at home.

It’s time for truth—not apology. Courage—not fear.

DRAWING A LINE IN THE SAND

To the West:

If you cannot condemn baby beheadings without saying “but what about…”—you are not neutral. You are complicit.

To the UN and global institutions:

You are legitimizing a would-be state whose “leaders” burned families alive.History will remember.

To the Jewish people:

This is our defining hour. Speak. Stand. Refuse to disappear.

To Israel’s leaders:

We are not here to survive headlines.

We are here to define the future.

🇮🇱 FINAL WORD: FROM THE ASHES TO RESOLVE

Israel was not reborn to merely exist.

We are here to live with purpose—and lead with clarity.

Let the world remember:

We did not start this war.

But we will define how it ends.

Not in the shadows of October 7—

But in the light of unshakable resolve.

For the hostages.

Fr the fallen.

For the truth.

For the future.
