Biden Admin Pushes Israel to Give Land to Hezbollah by Daniel Greenfield
Making deals with Islamic terrorists doesn’t work

- “In its boldest move, Hezbollah sent four drones toward the Karish platform several weeks ago, all of which were intercepted by the Israel Defense Forces,” reported The Times of Israel on July 31, 2022.
- This was exactly what surrendering part of the gas field to Hezbollah was supposed to prevent.
- “The proposal for this point involves recognizing it as part of Lebanon, with UN forces deployed there as a neutral party for both sides.” — The Jerusalem Post, September 8, 2024.
- United Nations forces are absolutely useless and pull back whenever there’s any conflict. (Nor is the UN remotely neutral.)
- Hezbollah will claim any territory it gets and attack anyway because that is what Islamic terrorists do. Hezbollah is backed by Iran. It’s going to attack when Tehran tells it to. As an Islamic terror group, attacking non-Muslims and dominating them is a fundamental religious obligation. So making deals with it won’t work.
- Just like making deals with Hamas doesn’t work.
The appeasement lobby only has one big idea when it comes to Islamic terrorists and any other enemies:
- Give them land.
- When the terrorists attack anyway, explain that it’s because they didn’t get enough land last time.
- Give them more land.

Israel has been living through this particular “peace process” nightmare for a generation.
Now, faced with growing Hezbollah attacks, the Biden administration has one big bright idea.
“American officials recently proposed, in a virtual meeting with their Israeli counterparts, a land swap between Lebanon and Israel as part of a comprehensive agreement to end the border conflicts and resolve the land dispute between the two countries, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida reported on Sunday,” reported The Jerusalem Post on September 8, 2024.
Amos Hochstein, Biden’s envoy, insisted on Israel turning over gas fields to Hezbollah all the way back in… October 2022. That was supposed to avert conflict.

▪️FIRE FROM ROCKET PARTS.. multiple wildfires started by rocket shrapnel, both the attacking rocket and interceptors, larger one in Kfar Daniel.
▪️TUNNEL WITH WEAPONS CACHE – NAZARETH.. A tunnel for underground storage with a weapons cache, which included a shoulder rocket, found by police.
.. Besides the tunnel, police raided compounds in Nazareth and seized a cache of weapons.
▪️FORMER ATTORNEY GENERAL’S REQUEST.. to the High Court for a gag order as Ch. 12 exposes his seemingly inappropriate maybe illegal methods of gaining his position – thrown out. The former AG’s reasoning for the request: privacy.
▪️POLITICS AND INCITEMENT.. Minister Karai to Deputy Attorney General Limon – the incitement against the Prime Minister and against the government continues. We read the words from Ilan Shiloh, one of the protest leaders, who called the Prime Minister and Minister Ben-Gvir Hitler and Himmler. For much less than that, people have been put on administrative detention.
Prime Minister: Are you doing anything with it? What have you done? The answer is nothing!
Minister Struck: You questioned right-wing activists about lesser things than these.
Deputy Attorney General Limon: Regarding this case, there is a question as to whether this is a criminal incident.
Minister Struck: Do you want me to bring you names of people put on administrative detention? Do you want lists?
▪️STRIKE COST TO TEACHERS.. high school teachers are expected to have a salary deduction of NIS 4,900 due to the (now paused) strike.
🔹IDF WARS LEBANESE TOWN.. The IDF sends evacuation announcements to a town in southern Lebanon. The announcements were distributed independently by one of the divisions of the IDF without the approval of the General Staff. (( And literally right after receiving a MISSILE at civilians from YEMEN, which did not provide a nice “please get out of the way” notice, why are we doing this? Particularly considering it gives enemy forces the opportunity to get out of the way? ))
♦️MISSILE ATTACK SUMMARY.. IDF spokesman: At 06:21 a surface-to-surface missile was launched from Yemen towards Israel.
It appears that the missile apparently disintegrated in the air. Several interception attempts were made by the Arrow and Iron Dome systems, the results of which are under review, and alerts were activated according to policy. The whole incident is being investigated.
Fragments fell in open areas (Ben Shemen, Kfar Daniel) and at the Modi’in train station.
.. The missile traveled an estimated distance of 2,040 km (1,270 miles) in 11 and a half minutes.
.. HOUTHIS CLAIM.. The official spokesman of the Yemeni army: the operation was carried out with a new hypersonic ballistic missile.
.. Analysts note: A hypersonic missile moves at a speed of more than five times the speed of sound, Mach 5. Almost every long-range ballistic missile flies at hypersonic speed, when the warhead detaches from the missile and returns to Earth it is capable of reaching speeds of up to Mach 20. The question is whether it can maneuver at speed.
.. Israel will respond to the launch of the ballistic missile, according to a senior official.

◾Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has announced plans to expand military operations toward the northern front, stating, “We are about to launch a broad and powerful operation on the northern front.” According to Israeli media, the operation will target Hezbollah and is expected to be a large-scale campaign. [Ed.: …and we’ll let you know and notify the innocent civilians when we’re finally prepared enough to make the big attack!]
◾Senior officials have indicated that the operation could begin in the next few weeks or months. [Ed.: …or years!] Before launching, Israel aims to secure international backing and ensure adequate munitions and forces are in place, according to reports from Channel 13. [Ed.: We wouldn’t defend ourselves unless the international community approved, because we just wanna be loved.]
◾For the first time, PM Netanyahu will present to the cabinet a new war goal: the return of displaced residents to northern Israel [Ed.: Not to decimate Hezbollah]. An Israeli security official stressed that the country must prepare for a prolonged conflict in the north, which will likely come at a heavy cost. [Ed.: We are aware that several million Jews will be killed, but we are helping global population reduction! After all, we let Hezbollah build up their massive arsenal for 15 years, and we knew all along the price the Jewish people would pay! ◾In a strategic assessment meeting on Thursday, Israel’s security establishment noted that diplomatic measures alone would not be sufficient to guarantee the safe return of evacuated communities along the Lebanon border. Army radio reported that a military operation against Hezbollah is seen as necessary, with estimates pointing to an initiation in the coming weeks.
◾Israeli Defense Minister Gallant has confirmed that the army is ready for potential escalation with Lebanon, a position echoed by the Israeli Broadcasting Authority.
◾Opposition leader Benny Gantz has called for immediate action, stating, “The time has come to exercise strength and use force against Hezbollah to return the residents safely to their homes.”
◾Meanwhile, residents of northern Israeli towns that have not been evacuated have been instructed to stay close to shelters, according to the Maariv newspaper.
◾The IDF has established a specialized unit known as the ‘Golan Patrol Company’, under the 474th Golan Brigade, dedicated to combat and intelligence gathering in the Golan Heights. This unit has completed its training, which included ambush tactics, operational drills, and navigation exercises.
◾Internationally, a senior American official expressed concern to Lebanese MTV News about Israel’s decision to launch a broader conflict with Hezbollah, with the White House sharing these concerns.
◾According to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Nahar, Hezbollah recently urged residents of southern Lebanese villages to evacuate in anticipation of Israeli security operations. The village of Odaiseh, located near the Israeli border and frequently under Israeli attack, saw residents evacuating their homes and shops following coordination with the Lebanese Army and the UN.
