This is Part 3 of my report on California Burning. If you haven’t read Parts 1 and Part 2 yet – you should – because they set the scene. It’s the most comprehensive and HONEST coverage you’ll find on the fires.
With a smile on his face, Newsom did a live interview from the scene, and while bobbing and weaving – like he was high on something – said this:
NEWSOM: “We already have a team reimagining Los Angeles 2.0. I was just talking to Josh Green, the governor down in Hawaii, who had some ideas around some land use and speculators coming in, buying up properties. So we’re already working with our legal teams to to move those things forward and we’ll be presenting those in a matter of days, not just weeks.”
Remember that the Maui fire situation was suspiciously similar to what just happened in LA. Same MO – same narrative.

So, basically, Newsom just admitted that they burned it down so something else could be developed and he was happy about it. Hmm. You mean like the 2028 Olympics & a Smart City and a police surveillance state and the multi-family housing to support that – all that I mentioned in Part 2 of this series?
SENATOR MELENDEZ: “When talking about developers buying up the property in LA damaged by the fires, Gavin breaks into a little dance, smiling like someone who’s about to get away with something.”
In September 2024, Newsom signed a bill into law that would allow them to subdivide a lot zoned for “single family” use to be REDEVELOPED as a multi-family building if it is vacant, abandoned and uninhabitable.
So, every structure that burned down can be REDEVELOPED into multi-family or low-income housing. This goes into effect July 2025. Convenient timing, huh?

Now – connect those dots with the fact that this area is needed for development to support California’s goal to host the 2028 Olympics & convert Los Angeles into a Smart City – a total POLICE STATE.

January 13, 2025 – Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass rebuffed an offer by the FDNY to help try to contain the area’s deadly fires — even though California officials have said they don’t have enough firefighters themselves. New York City fire Commissioner Robert Tucker made the helpful overture to the embattled Bass in recent days, as five blazes rage around Los Angeles and its suburbs, killing at least 10 people and destroying thousands of homes and businesses. JetBlue even offered to pay for the city smoke-eaters’ flights across the country from the Big Apple to Los Angeles. But the offers apparently fell on deaf ears, as no orders have been issued to send New York City crews out West, sources said. Meanwhile, California Gov. Gavin Newsom accepted help from Mexico, thanking its president, Claudia Sheinbaum, on Friday for the assist, while extra firefighters from Colorado, New Mexico and Utah flocked to the state to help Thursday (New York Post).
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass demanded her Fire Department make an extra $49 million of budget cuts last week, a leaked memo revealed. This cut is already on top of $17.6 million of cuts in her latest budget. The extra cuts, requested just days before fires broke out and devastated swathes of Los Angeles, would have shut down 16 fire stations and crippled the department’s ability to respond to emergencies, sources said (Daily Mail).
Reporter Charles Gasparino: Mexico thinks it’s paying Cali for all those migrants they sent there by helping with the fires, while the mayor says no to NYFD. Can’t make this up (X).

A source speculated that Bass may have balked at taking Bravest help because fighting wildfires is “a whole different beast” that requires special training, as opposed to putting out blazes in buildings, which is typical fare for the FDNY.
But the apparent refusal still stunned some department observers — given how Los Angeles Fire Chief Anthony Marrone acknowledged Wednesday that his forces were fighting a losing battle when it came to enough staffing to thwart the blazes.
“LA County and all 29 fire departments in our county are not prepared for this kind of widespread disaster,’’ Marrone said.

January 13, 2025 – Another DEI twit. Everything failed. Everything.
FEMA Administrator Deanna Criswell claimed during an interview over the weekend that fire officials in Southern California “were very prepared” for the catastrophic fires that erupted last week — despite significant evidence to the contrary. Criswell made the remarks when asked by Margaret Brennan on CBS News “why the area was so unprepared” for the fires. “I think that they were very prepared,” Criswell claimed… She further claimed that it was harder for firefighters to reach the fires because it was in “such a populated area” (Daily Wire).
Face the Nation: When asked why the Los Angeles area was so unprepared for these wildfires, Deanne Criswell says, “I think that they were very prepared.” (X).

Reports suggest that Joe Biden, whose presidency has become a caricature of cognitive decline, has already nudged over a thousand political operatives into career roles within federal agencies—with almost none being properly reported as a result of a glaring loophole. Some expect that number to eclipse 3,000 by the end of his term—a grim milestone even Obama, the patron saint of bureaucratic entrenchment, failed to reach.

January 13, 2025 – Britain is back in the news for its mishandled child gang rape scandals. This is a continuation of a crisis that has been ongoing in the U.K. since at least the year 2000. While many believe these to be decade-old crimes that now only need to be investigated and closed, it is much more likely that they continue to occur. This is because the underlying motivation behind them still exists. First, some backstory for those unfamiliar.
For at least two decades, English schoolgirls as young as 12 were groomed by groups of Muslim men and systematically drugged, threatened, and repeatedly raped. They were not only literally passed between these men in houses of horror, they were told that if they did not return on another day, for a recurrence of their victimization, their parents would be killed and their houses would be burned down.
When some of those girls eventually overcame the immense terror of what had happened to them and informed authorities, entire police departments, local city councils, and the nation’s Crown Prosecution Service refused to investigate out of fear that they would be viewed as racist and that they would create “community unrest.” The anticipated reaction of the public against those immigrants was perceived as worse than the assaults that had taken place. Thus, the behavior continued unabated, and for thousands of girls and their devastated families, justice continues to be elusive.

Although Erdogan might deplore the effect on Turkey’s domestic political scene, he may yet see an autonomous Kurdish region recognized within a new Syrian constitution.
JANUARY 13, 2025 Jerusalem Post – What is to become of the Kurds, by far Syria’s largest minority, with some two million people?
The Syrian civil war, which started in 2011, brought the Kurds to the forefront of the region’s politics. In the face of the all-conquering military advance of ISIS, Syrian government forces abandoned many Kurdish-occupied areas in the northeast of the country, leaving the Kurds to administer them.
A US-led coalition, bent on defeating ISIS, allied itself with the Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga militia, which proved remarkably successful. It took less than two years to reconquer ISIS-held territory; in the process, the Kurdish-occupied area of northeast Syria, known as Rojava, gained de facto autonomy.
The capture by Kurdish forces of the township of Manbij from ISIS on August 12, 2016, produced a swath of territory largely controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), an alliance of Arab and Kurdish militias, along Turkey’s southern border. This area was closely adjacent to Iraq’s Kurdistan region, the Kurdish-populated area granted autonomy in Iraq’s 2005 constitution.
So, much to the distaste of Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the possibility of a united autonomous Kurdistan stretching across the northern reaches of Syria and Iraq seemed to be emerging.
Erdogan has consistently viewed the People’s Protection Units (YPG), the dominant force in the SDF, as an extension of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), a group widely designated as a terrorist organization.
Then, in 2016, Erdogan instituted Operation Euphrates Shield, capturing an area in north Syria from Jarabulus to al-Bab. He followed this two years later with Operation Olive Branch during which he overran Afrin.
In 2019, after the US announced its withdrawal from parts of northern Syria, he launched Operation Peace Spring, establishing a so-called “safe zone” on the Syrian side of the Turkish-Syrian border. He aimed to use it to resettle Syrian refugees currently in Turkey.
Erdogan has more or less annexed all the areas he has overrun. They are now governed by Turkey-backed local councils, use the Turkish lira as currency, and are heavily influenced by Turkish infrastructure projects, including schools, hospitals, and post offices.
TURKEY, A long-time supporter of the rebel movement that overthrew the dictatorial regime of Bashar al-Assad – the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham – now has strong political influence with its leader, Abu Mohammed al-Julani. Erdogan no doubt hopes to use it to control his perennial Kurdish problem by continuing to occupy the swaths of Syria that he has overrun. But despite his dominant political position in post-Assad Syria, it is far from certain that he will be able to do so.
Julani’s intentions regarding minorities in general, and the Kurds in particular, are still very unclear. Ever since the fall of the Assad regime Julani has presented a moderate face to the world, consistently declaring that he intends to be as inclusive as possible in establishing Syria’s new governance.
In short, he may not endorse the continued occupation by Turkey of large areas of sovereign Syria. Moreover, he has said several times that Kurds are “part of the Syrian homeland” while assuring the nation that “there will be no injustice.”
If any ethnic group deserves justice, it is the Kurds.
THOUSANDS of years ago, a proud and independent nation lived and thrived in its own land in the heart of the Middle East. Subject to many foreign invasions, this ethnically-distinct people refused to be integrated with their various conquerors and retained their own culture.
At the start of World War I, their country was a small part of the Ottoman Empire. In shaping the future Middle East after the war, the Allied powers, especially Britain, promised to act as guarantors of this people’s freedom. That promise was subsequently broken.
Although this sounds similar to the story of the Jewish people, it is in fact the broad outline of the long, convoluted, and unresolved history of the Kurds.
The nearly 35 million Kurds are the largest stateless nation in the world. Historically, they inhabited a distinct geographical area flanked by mountain ranges, once referred to as Kurdistan. No such location is depicted on current maps, for the old Kurdistan now falls within the sovereign space of four separate states: Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria.
Most Kurds – some 25 million – live within Turkey’s borders. There are 2 million in Syria, while within Iraq the 5 million Kurds have developed a near autonomous state. Nearly 7 million Kurds are trapped inside Iran’s extremist Shi’ite regime.
The Treaty of Sevres, marking the fall of the Ottoman Empire after World War I, stipulated a referendum would decide the issue of the Kurdistan homeland. That referendum never took place, and the Sevres treaty itself was rendered null and void in 1922 by the establishment of the Turkish Republic under Kemal Ataturk.
The Treaty of Lausanne followed, giving control of the then-Kurdistan homeland to the new republic. With a stroke of the colonial pen, over 20 million Kurds were declared Turkish.
Kurdish autonomy achieved its greatest recognition in the 2005 Iraqi constitution, which established the Kurdistan region as a federal entity within Iraq, with its own local government and legal framework.
The Kurds in Syria will be well aware of that. Nor will they forget that something akin to it was actually offered to them by the Assad regime. In March 2015, the then-Syrian information minister announced that the government was considering recognizing Kurdish autonomy “within the law and constitution.”
In September 2017, Syria’s then-foreign minister stated that Damascus would consider granting Kurds greater autonomy once ISIS was defeated. Events overtook these aspirations, and nothing of the sort materialized. But they might provide Julani with a template for a future accommodation with the Kurds within the constitution of a unified and restored Syrian state.
Although Erdogan might deplore the effect on Turkey’s domestic political scene, he may yet see an autonomous Kurdish region recognized within a new Syrian constitution – and even, eventually, some form of alliance between that and the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis Sparks Outrage After Comparing LA Wildfires to Gaza
January 12, 2025 JBN – Hollywood Actress Jamie Lee Curtis is facing fierce backlash after comparing the devastating Los Angeles wildfires to the situation in Gaza.
“I am born and raised in the City of Angels. And the entire City of Angels is on fire, everywhere. The entire city of the Pacific Palisades is gone,” Curtis said during a Friday Q&A session for her new drama “The Last Showgirl.”
“I mean literally my neighborhood — gone. My house tonight is still there but I live in a different canyon. But the entire Pacific Palisades looks like, unfortunately, Gaza, or one of these war-torn countries where awful things have happened.”
Social media quickly erupted with criticism of the “Everything Everywhere All At Once” star.
“This is a completely atrocious comparison,” wrote one social media user on X. Another California resident added, “I live in California and you would never find me comparing these fires to Gaza…both tragedies but not comparable at all.”
Critics particularly took issue with what they called “the flippant way people talk about Gaza,” with one noting, “As if it wasn’t a real tragedy until those scenes started being reflected in their gated communities. It’s gross.”
Others blasted the Oscar winner for her past support of Israel.
“This is a completely atrocious comparison considering this is the same woman who advocated for Israel’s genocide in Gaza,” wrote one user.
Curtis’s controversial wildfire remarks have also reignited discussion of her October 7 social media misstep, when she posted a photo intended to show support for Israel but inadvertently used an image of children in Gaza.
“Still, her heart is in the right place, having pledged $1 million on Thursday to a relief fund for communities impacted by the ongoing wildfires.
Since last Tuesday, the Pacific Palisades fire has torn through almost seven hectares across Los Angeles County. Several Hollywood A-listers have reportedly lost their luxurious mansions in the inferno, including Jeff Bridges, Paris Hilton, and Mel Gibson.
Speaking of Gibson, he had his own conspiracy theory to share during an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Saturday, claiming the fires were “commissioned” in order to move people off valuable property.
“I can make all kinds of horrible theories up in my head, conspiracy theories and everything else, but it just seemed a little convenient that there was no water,” Gibson said.
“In events like this, you sort of look, well, is it on purpose? Which, it’s an insane thing to think. But one begins to ponder whether or not there is a purpose in mind. What could it be? You know, what do they want? The state empty? I don’t know.”

The coincidences continue to pile up, leading many to declare that the massive neglects, mistakes, and failures resulting in devastation from the LA wildfires was more than a natural disaster.
Jan. 9, 2025 4 pm ET. – The LA fires are unprecedented in the number and size of the fires that have broken out in and around the second largest city in the US. Over 1000 structures and 45 square miles are destroyed. More than 380,000 people have been under warnings or orders to evacuate. Over 450,000 people are without power. More than 24 school districts are partially or totally closed. Fire hydrants have run dry. Arsonists in Santa Monica have been caught on camera setting fires. The LA County Sheriff says some areas look like ‘a bomb was dropped.’ President Biden commented on the fires while in LA. He doled out relief funds, and announced he is a first time great-grandfather, and that son Hunter’s home in LA is unharmed. Today Biden gave a national address promising to oversee a full federal response to the wildfires.
The 15 Minute City Plans for Los Angeles
Los Angeles is one of dozens of cities whose “mayors and the cities they lead” are members in the international C40 Cities initiative. This is a movement to achieve the United Nations and globalist goals of restructuring cities to address the manufactured “climate change” crisis. Cities from around the world are participating in this movement.
Funding support comes from many progressive and globalist sources, including the Open Society Foundations run by George Soros and son as well as other supporters. Soros is notorious for training and funding riots in America and for taking many other actions to ruin the economies of sovereign nations, earning him the title among others of the “worst billionaire in the world.” Other contributors are Uber, FedEx, Google, Wellcome, Bloomberg Philanthropies, the UK Government, the European Union, among many others. The World Bank, one of the most predatory globalist institutions which is closely associated with the UN, is a designated Partner.
Los Angeles is all-in on their 15 Minute City plan that they have named the Livable Communities Initiative (LCI): “a plan to address LA’s housing, traffic and climate crisis by building 3-5 stories of gentle density above small retail along carefully chosen commercial streets that are transformed to be walkable, bikeable, and livable.” This sounds like the perfect plan for the now destroyed Pacific Palisades community which is part of Greater Los Angeles. The Pacific Palisades neighborhood was an older community with many quirky and quaint but aged features. A profile of the neighborhood offers further details about the community that existed prior to the fire destruction. Now that the area has suffered such destruction, rebuilding has to occur.
Whether it is a bizarre coincidence or a result of dreadfully bad politics this is the kind of disaster that progressives and globalists love to take advantage of and we can expect to see glowing reports of the coming construction of LA as a shining example of the Olympics and future cities of the world. The only question is, can they get it together in time? We anticipate that all the regulations and red tape that they usually embrace will magically disappear.
We are left with the astonishing serendipity that a huge swath of the City of Los Angeles has been cleared just in time to be made shovel ready for a newer, better, futuristic version of city neighborhoods to be constructed that will be a showcase for the 2028 Olympics. All the sentimentality and the cultural and historic building objections to modernization, not to mention property owned by private individuals who may not want to sell or give up their home or business building, have been swept aside in a 48-hour period by a scorched earth event.
Let the building begin.
Never Let a Crisis Go to Waste
The coincidences continue to pile up, leading many to declare that the massive neglects, mistakes, and failures resulting in devastation from the LA wildfires was more than a natural disaster. Evidence of this has not yet emerged. But Los Angeles is prepared. They already have all the plans in place to build back better. As President Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is famous for saying: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”
With the LA fires of 2025 the landscape is now prepared for the building of SmartLA 2028, just in time for the Olympics.

What To Know About The Meta Glasses The New Orleans Terrorist Used To Scout The French Quarter
January 7, 2025 Yeshiva World News – The man who drove a truck into a crowd of people in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, killing 14, had previously scouted the French Quarter and recorded video with his Meta smart glasses, the FBI said.
On Oct. 31, Shamsud-Din Jabbar recorded video with the glasses as he cycled through the French Quarter and plotted the attack, said Lyonel Myrthil, FBI special agent in charge of the New Orleans field office. Jabbar also wore the glasses, which are capable of livestreaming, during the attack, but did not activate them.
A spokesperson for Meta, the parent company of Facebook, declined to comment.

What are Meta glasses?
Meta glasses, made in partnership with Ray-Ban, are frames with a built-in camera, speakers and artificial intelligence that can be controlled with your voice, buttons and some simple gestures. Some functions, such as listening to music or interacting with Meta’s AI assistant, require the device to be either paired with a phone or able to access the internet.
The wearable does not have a display built into the lens, unlike some past industry attempts at building augmented-reality smart glasses. However, Meta has said it is working on a pair of glasses that will give users a fully holographic experience.
What the glasses can do
One of the glasses’ main selling points is the ability to capture images and video using the onboard camera, then upload those files to Instagram or Facebook. You can also livestream, but only to Meta’s compatible social platforms.
You can also use the glasses to make audio and video calls, message people or listen to music.
The camera also allows Meta’s AI assistant to see what you’re seeing, allowing it to translate text into multiple languages (spoken back to you, or shown on a paired phone app), and answer simple questions, such as searching the nearest landmark to your location. The glasses are largely a hands-free experience so you will be talking to your device — and it will reply.
What the glasses can’t do
The glasses currently cannot perform complex tasks that other digital assistants might be able to, like booking you a reservation at a restaurant or giving you turn-by-turn directions while you’re on the move. And there’s no display in the lens, so there isn’t a viewfinder for framing photos or video.
There are also visual indicators built into the system that allow bystanders to know when you’re shooting video or taking photos. This LED privacy indicator stays on while you use the camera functions. According to Meta, you can’t disable this light to be more discreet in your actions.

Did The Feds Aid and Abet The New Orleans Jihad Terror Attack By Robert Spencer
January 5, 2025 – Trust in our government has lowered to the point that some people are suggesting that the New Orleans jihad massacre was aided and abetted, or even concocted, by the feds in order to stir up unrest as Trump prepares to return to the presidency, or to create a pretext for some other action. Some of those who are making suggestions of this kind, such as Candace Owens, just want to find some plausible way to blame Jews, or to claim that it’s all in the service of trying to get the U.S. involved in a war in the Middle East on behalf of Israel. Those types, including Owens herself, tend to downplay or deny outright the reality of Islamic jihad, preferring to see virtually all the workings of the wide world as the puppet show of the all-powerful and ever-unseen Zionists. Still, would the feds really get involved in a jihad plot to kill Americans? Sure.
No one really knows for sure, except the conspirators, if there are any, whether or not the feds are involved. And jihad is real, as the news out of Africa, Asia and Europe shows daily. Still, the question must be asked: would the feds really aid and abet a jihad terror attack? Have they really become that corrupt and compromised? And the answer is: yes. Of course they would, and yes, they’re that corrupt. The evidence for this fact lies in their behavior at the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest that Pamela Geller and I organized in May, 2015.
The Daily Beast wrote in August 2016 about how this undercover FBI agent encouraged the jihadis. The Beast’s Katie Zavadski wrote: “Days before an ISIS sympathizer attacked a cartoon contest in Garland, Texas, he received a text from an undercover FBI agent. ‘Tear up Texas,’ the agent messaged Elton Simpson days before he opened fire at the Draw Muhammad event, according to an affidavit (pdf) filed in federal court Thursday.”
This was not entrapment. Simpson and his partner Nadir Soofi were determined jihadis who had scouted out other targets. Simpson, along with Soofi and another jihadi, Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem, who supplied weapons to the pair and helped train them, sought information about pipe bombs and plotted to attack the Super Bowl, and planned to go to Syria to join the Islamic State (ISIS), long before anyone told him to “tear up Texas.”
But what was the FBI’s game in telling them to do that? Why didn’t they have a phalanx of agents in place, ready to stop the attack? Or did they want the attack to succeed, so that Barack Obama’s vow that “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam” would be vividly illustrated, and intimidate any other Americans who might be contemplating defending the freedom of speech into silence?
We twice asked the FBI for an investigation into this matter. They ignored us, of course. On Thursday in The Federalist, that publication’s elections correspondent, Brianna Lyman, recalled some of the curiosities of the Garland attack, about which the feds have maintained their silence for nine years now. Lyman wrote: “Radical Islamist terrorist Shamsud-Din Jabbar plowed his truck through a crowd in New Orleans in the wee hours of the New Year, murdering 15 and injuring dozens. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is now leading the investigation — the same agency in which an agent once encouraged a radical Islamist terrorist to ‘tear up Texas.’”
Lyman noted that “in 2015, local Texas police thwarted what would have been a massive terrorist attack in Garland, Texas. The saga began when the Islamic State recruited Erick Jamal Hendricks, a North Carolina man, who later befriended an undercover FBI agent. Hendricks connected the FBI agent to radical Islamist terrorist Elton Simpson.”
Lyman also pointed out that “during initial discussions between Simpson and the undercover FBI agent — who has never been named in government documents — the agent told Simpson to ‘tear up Texas’ after Simpson made the agent aware of an alleged blasphemous Muhammad cartoon contest to be held at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.” Simpson and Soofi then drove eight hours from Phoenix, Arizona to Garland, and opened fire in the parking lot outside our event just as it was ending.
Lyman states: “The FBI agent was present at the attack and later told Hendricks — who was not present at the attack — that he was Hendricks’ ‘eyes’ that day.” Also: “Trenton Roberts, a lawyer for security guard Bruce Joiner (who was injured in the attack), reportedly said he was ‘convinced that there is much more to this story than the FBI has admitted.’”
Oh yeah. No doubt about that. And now the same agency is going to tell us the full truth about what happened in New Orleans. How reassuring.

The newspaper, citing three anonymous sources, indicated that while the exact timing of Trudeau’s announcement remains uncertain, it is expected to occur before a critical national caucus meeting on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister’s Office did not respond to the report. It is also remains unclear whether Trudeau intends to step down immediately or continue serving as Prime Minister until a new Liberal leader is chosen.

“If that happened from the DEFUSE proposal, then what else also happened that’s inside the DEFUSE proposal?”

January 4, 2025 Just the News – President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday called for Judge Juan Merchan to be disbarred after he rejected Trump’s bid to toss out his conviction in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s hush money case.
“The judge should be disbarred!” Trump wrote in a lengthy TRUTH Social post. “This is why people, and companies, are FLEEING New York – A corrupt court system.”
Judge Merchan on Friday rejected Trump’s bid to toss out the conviction in his New York hush money trial. He is expected to be sentenced on Jan. 10.
The judge indicated Friday he was unlikely to impose jail time, and that he intends instead to sentence Trump to an “unconditional discharge.” Trump was convicted last year on 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a 2016 payment his then-attorney, Michael Cohen, made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
“I never falsified business records,” Trump’s post reads. “It is a fake, made up charge by a corrupt judge who is just doing the work of the Biden/Harris Injustice Department, an attack on their political opponent, ME!”
Trump said he hid nothing regarding the documents.
“I was hiding nothing, everything was out in the open for all to see. Every legal scholar of note said there IS NO CASE AGAINST ME,” he stated.
