Homeland contractor, FBI experts issue stark warnings about bomb-dropping and gun-firing drones in terrorist hands.
January 2, 2025 Just the News – With New Year’s Day attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas exposing terrorism vulnerabilities anew, top security experts are warning that a lethal capability being perfected in the skies over Ukraine and the Middle East could soon be headed to the United States: explosives-dropping or gun-firing drones.
“There has not been enough preparation proactively to prevent an incident associated with drone warfare and not even close,” retired FBI Executive Assistant Director Christopher Piehota told Just the News on Thursday. “Government, I think, is waking up to it. But it’s a day-late, dollar-short type of situation.
Piehota oversaw the FBI’s counter-drone program before he retired.
“We’re pretty far behind the defensive curve, so to speak. And unfortunately in the United States, it takes a tragedy for us to really snap out of our of our malaise and work against the threats proactively,” he warned.
Major vulnerability
Piehota’s concerns were echoed by security experts interviewed this week by Just the News in intelligence, military and law enforcement circles and specifically cited as a major vulnerability in a study prepared for the Homeland Security Department a few months ago by the security contractor Rand Corporation.
That report obtained by Just the News warned that terrorists are increasingly targeting soft targets in crowded places – known as “ST-CP”s in intelligence parlance – and that drones are likely to being employed to carry out attacks against such targets in the near future.
“Although it has generally not been observed as of this writing in late 2023, our interview data suggested a growing concern about the prospect of uncrewed aircraft systems (UASs) being used for attacks on ST-CPs,” the December 2023 report warned. “The use of UASs against ST-CP sites has become a concern in the ST-CP security sector. The unique characteristics of UASs could see their use grow in future years.”

Rand explained why drones – which are becoming more numerous – would be attractive to strike a target in America.
“UASs can carry explosive payloads and have the ability to maneuver into secure areas without detection,” it noted. “UASs can also give the operator the ability to act anonymously and a greater chance to avoid detection and capture. The growing use of UASs in both the private sector and government operations likely means that more people will have access to these systems in the future and the expertise to operate them, making the use of UASs for attacks increasingly likely.”
Even the United Nations – which has seen Iranian-built drones terrorize ships in the Red Sea, Hamas-operated drones kill Israelis during the Oct. 7, 2023, massacres and Russian drones inflict carnage in Ukraine – has escalated its preparation, conducting seminars in 2022 and 2023 to coordinate better security against such aerial attacks.
“There is a growing concern globally over the criminal misuse of emerging technologies as they become ubiquitous,” the UN said after its most recent counterterrorism meeting. “Recent evidence demonstrates that the acquisition of UAS software, hardware, and components as well as their weaponization and deployment by terrorist groups has increased over the past years across many Member States.
“It is critical that Member States and intergovernmental organizations work closely with academia, civil society, and the private sector to keep abreast of technological advancements in order to anticipate and mitigate the risk of their misuse for terrorist purposes,” it added.
“Caught off guard”
The Office of Director of National Intelligence admitted in a 2021 report that was recently declassified that it was acutely aware of the rising danger of terrorist drones and equally frustrated by slow U.S. efforts to recognize that a technology it devised to fight terrorists might now be used to hunt Americans.
“The United States has a history of being reactionary to unforeseen or misunderstood national security threats,” the report candidly noted. “Recently, the United States was caught off guard yet again by terrorist groups’ ability to adapt their tactics on the battlefield and cause bloodshed in new and surprising ways. These groups are infringing on a battlespace long dominated by the U.S. military: the air domain.”
“The recent incorporation of unmanned aerial systems (UASs), commonly referred to as ‘drones,’ into the tactics and techniques of terrorist operations is forcing the United States to reassess its policies and defense measures to protect its employed military forces,” it added.

The Homeland Security Department says its research and development arm is trying to create new technologies to counter terrorism from the sky but admits its efforts face an uphill race.
“The rapid increase in the availability and sophistication of UAS represents a significant challenge, as their capabilities progress faster than the ability to assess and mitigate the threat posed by nefarious small UAS,” the department said.
Experts said countering aerial attacks requires knowing how to identify good from bad drones in the skies in real-time, something the government proved last month when unexplained drone sightings in New Jersey created widespread public panic and little official explanation.
“That’s the problem, total unawareness by the American people and complete inability of law enforcement and the executives in these cities to evolve as fast as the terrorist tactics,” retired FBI Special Agent Jonathan Gilliam, who used to oversee major event planning for the bureau’s New York office, told the Just the News, No Noise television show on Thursday night.
“The terrorists will do whatever they can to carry out these attacks. But these officials refuse to step outside their normal box and say, ‘OK, we don’t normally do it this way, but let’s try it.’ That’s not what they say. They say we don’t do it that way. And so they never try something new and even inexpensive,” he added.
Gilliam said the Wednesday morning’s attack in New Orleans exposed the mentality anew: city officials had taken out their heavy metal security bollards protecting the French Quarter to repair them and replaced them with lesser barriers that the driver evaded with ease. He said police could have turned to “using busses, using dump trucks full of cement, police cars, whatever, to block areas and keep things straight” but didn’t.
Gilliam said he suspects terrorists who recently used vehicles to kill dozens in a German Christmas market and the French Quarter will continue to do so until security adapts, and then pivot to drones soon after.
“I believe these unmanned vehicle attacks and drone attacks are coming, but the vehicle attacks right now are the flavor of the day, because they’re just so easy to carry out and people are just not aware,” he said.
Drones present heightened lethality
Piehota, the retired FBI executive assistant director, told the John Solomon Reports podcast that drones can cause far more lethal consequences than just the explosive payload they drop if they target a concert hall or stadium.
“If you have a stadium full of people, and even if the area is considered a no drone zone, you have someone fly in a group of drones, and they start dropping explosives, or they you could even set up drones to fire guns into a crowd. … the problem is going to be the massive disruption in a stadium.
“Most people will become very frightened. They will stampede and they will kill each other trying to get to a safe place,” he warned. Piehota further cautioned that while low-cost commercial drones are one potential threat, it is likely a terrorist group will one day soon acquire a highly lethal military grade drone from a state actor like Iran and deliver an even more devastating attack.
“What you’re going to find is as certain international adversaries take a side, and they take a position, and certain military type equipment becomes available to certain terrorist groups, those military grade drones, you can’t defeat them,” he said.
“They’re made to loiter, and they’re made to strike against heavy armored vehicles and against people who are in protective structures. So I just throw that out there, only because folks are more worried about the weaponization of commercial drones, as opposed to the appearance in the United States, potentially and probably, of military grade drones,” he added.

BREAKING: New Orleans Terrorist Reports for Extremist Views While in U.S. Army Were Ignored
Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the New Orleans terrorist, was reportedly flagged twice to his Army chain of command for expressing Islamic extremist views.
According to sources, no action was taken, as officials were allegedly concerned about causing a racial and religious controversy. Investigators are now scrutinizing whether these warnings could have prevented the attack.
The situation is reminiscent of the Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hasan, the perpetrator of the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, displayed several behaviors that should have raised red flags prior to the attack. Hasan killed 13 people and injured 32 others in what remains one of the deadliest mass shootings on a U.S. military base.
Strange and Concerning Behaviors of Nidal Hassan that were overlooked:
1. Radical Statements: Hasan openly expressed support for Islamist extremist views, including justifying suicide bombings and suggesting that Muslim soldiers could become threats if deployed to fight against other Muslims.
2. Presentations on Jihad: During a medical conference, he gave a lecture that was supposed to be about health but instead focused on justifying jihad and martyrdom in Islam.
3. Contact with a Radical Cleric: Hasan exchanged emails with Anwar al-Awlaki, a known al-Qaeda-affiliated cleric, seeking guidance on the permissibility of killing American soldiers.
4. Radicalization Signs: He grew a beard despite military regulations prohibiting it and began dressing in traditional Islamic garb, which deviated from standard behavior on base.
5. Isolated Behavior: Hasan became increasingly withdrawn, expressing anger and frustration toward his colleagues and superiors.
6. Online Posts: Authorities later found evidence of Hasan posting online in support of extremist ideologies under pseudonyms.
Despite these warning signs, Hasan’s behavior was largely overlooked, partly due to concerns about appearing discriminatory toward his religious and cultural identity.
PA Leader Eulogizes Jimmy Carter as Champion of ‘Israeli Apartheid’
January 1, 2025 Jewish Breaking News – Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas eulogized Jimmy Carter this week by offering effusive praise for the former US president’s late-career turn against Israel.
“As the first American president to recognize the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, he worked tirelessly to advocate for a just and lasting solution in the Middle East,” Abbas’s office posted on X.
“He spoke boldly against injustice, including addressing the realities of Israeli apartheid, and championed the cause of peace over violence and war. His dedication to these principles earned him the Nobel Peace Prize, a testament to his lifelong struggle for the betterment of humanity.”
After Reagan steamrolled Carter in the 1980 election, the defeated president nursed some bitter theories about his loss. Instead of focusing on the Iran hostage crisis, runaway inflation, or his plummeting approval ratings, Carter had a different explanation in mind. His former domestic policy adviser, Stuart Eizenstat, later revealed that Carter blamed Jewish voters, convinced they had turned on him over his push for Middle East peace.
“From the New York primary in March 1980 onward, I believe Carter was left with the view that New York Jews had not only defeated him in the primary but were also a factor in his loss in November,” Eizenstat wrote in his 2018 memoir “President Carter: The White House Years.”
“It is even clearer in the decades since, that progress on these same intractable issues with which Carter was struggling forty years ago can come only with a president willing to take enormous domestic political heat and plow ahead.”
Despite brokering the historic 1979 Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty during his presidency, Carter’s post-White House years were marked by increasing hostility toward the Jewish State. In 2006, Carter published “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid,” where he labeled Israel’s policies towards Arabs as “apartheid.” He openly condemned what he described as systematic segregation in the “occupied territories” of Judea and Samaria and slammed Israel’s expanding settlements.
The resulting backlash was swift and fierce as pro-Israel groups and fellow Democrats alike denounced his assessment. Even the left-leaning New York Times tore into Carter’s book with surprising fury, describing it as “simplistic,” “tone deaf,” and riddled with “misrepresentations.”
“Across the land, Jewish leaders and their friends are asking each other what exactly Carter’s problem is with the Jews” one striking sentence from the Times pretty much sums up the popular sentiment towards the book at the time.
Yet still, America’s 39th president wouldn’t back down. In later interviews defending his book, Carter insisted the comparison was not just accurate but necessary to understand the reality on the ground.
“The word is the most accurate available to describe Palestine. Apartheid is when two different people live in the same land, and they are forcibly segregated, and one dominates or persecutes the other. That’s what’s happening in Palestine: so the word is very, very accurate. It’s used widely, and every day, in Israel,” Carter told the Observer in 2007.
Carter passed away on Sunday, December 29, at the age of 100. A state funeral will be held in Washington next Thursday, January 9, after which he will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Rosalynn, in their hometown of Plains, Georgia.
Trump Issues Ultimatum to Hamas Over Remaining Oct. 7 Hostages
January 1, 2024 Jewish Breaking News – President-elect Donald Trump has warned again that Hamas will face serious consequences should they fail to release the hostages before he returns to office.
Speaking to a reporter during a New Year’s Eve party at his Mar-a-Lago estate, Trump confirmed that the terror group would be wise to free the 100 hostages it has been holding for more than a year, including seven Americans.
When a journalist asked if Trump stood behind his threats to the terror group, the incoming president doubled-down on his previous warnings.
“I’ll put it this way: they better let the hostages come back soon,” Trump said.
Asked about a potential ceasefire between Hamas and Israel before he takes office, Trump said “we’re gonna see what happens.”
Trump first issued a stark threat to the Hamas terror group in early December, via his Truth Social platform.
“If the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity,” the post read.
At the time Trump met with freed Israeli-American hostage Judith Ranaan on his golf course in Florida.
According to a summary of the meeting published by Bring Them Home Now on X, Ranaan’s main message to Trump was that she “trusts him.”
She also asked that Trump “do everything in his power to bring all the hostages home – the living for rehabilitation and the deceased for proper burial.”
Also in December, the daughter of two slain hostages slammed President Joe Biden and other world leaders, saying that president-elect Donald Trump’s tweet threatening the Hamas terror group should have served as an example for the international community.
“All world leaders should have done on October 8, 2023, what Trump did in his tweet,” Iris Weinstein Haggai told the Times of Israel, referencing the president-elect’s pledge that there would be “hell to pay” for Hamas if they do not release the hostages in the near future.
Weinstein Haggai’s parents, who hold Israeli, American, and Canadian citizenship, were brutally murdered in the October 7th terror rampage.
Their bodies were kidnapped by Hamas.
It’s unclear how many of the 100 hostages in captivity are still alive. At least 34 of the captives are confirmed to be dead.

JAN 01, 2025 ACT FOR AMERICA – In a chilling development, the New Year’s Eve terror attack in New Orleans has spotlighted potential links to Al Qaeda amidst warnings from former CIA counterterrorism analyst Sarah Adams of an imminent Homeland attack.
On January 1, 2025, New Orleans was struck by a terror attack in its French Quarter, where a vehicle was driven into a crowd on Bourbon Street, followed by gunfire, resulting in at least 10 fatalities and over 30 injuries.
Shamsud Din Jabbar has been identified as the perpetrator of the New Orleans attack, with multiple law enforcement officials confirming his identity. Jabbar was found wearing full military gear and allegedly had an ISIS flag in his truck; he was killed during a subsequent shootout with the police. Jabbar had a Glock and a .308 rifle, both reported as stolen from New Jersey. The New Orleans City Council President Helena Moreno has indicated that 4 to 5 other suspects are likely involved.
The truck used in the New Orleans New Year’s Eve terror attack was traced back to crossing the U.S. border at Eagle Pass, Texas, merely two days before the tragedy struck.
Sarah Adams, in a recent interview with Shawn Ryan, outlined a coordinated plot involving Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Iran for an attack on U.S. soil. Adams revealed that Al Qaeda has trained approximately 1,000 operatives for this purpose, with training camps in Afghanistan focusing on urban warfare, suicide bombings, and covert operations. This aligns with the tactics seen in both the recent New Orleans attack and the October 7 Hamas assault, where tactics like vehicle attacks in crowded areas were employed.
At the heart of this plot, according to Adams, is Hamza bin Laden, who has been orchestrating an “Islamic Army” to merge various terrorist factions under one banner. This strategy not only aims to confuse attribution by having ISIS claim the attacks but also allows Al Qaeda to maintain secrecy and protect its operations from retaliation.
Iran’s involvement is pivotal, as Adams notes, with the IRGC providing logistical support and sanctuary to Al Qaeda leaders. An “invisible bomb vest” was highlighted as an innovative tactic, designed to evade traditional security measures, a detail that underscores the sophistication of the planning.
The potential targets for these coordinated attacks could include symbols of American power or infrastructure, with the possibility of simultaneous or sequential strikes across U.S. cities. The involvement of external powers like Russia, in facilitating supplies, hints at a complex geopolitical chess game where America’s adversaries might be leveraging terrorism for strategic gains.
The countries under the Islamic Army umbrella, as per Adams, include Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan, Iran, Somalia, Mali, and Burkina Faso. Additionally, operatives from Libya, Sudan, Tajikistan, Egypt, Turkey, and Uzbekistan could be involved, with some not officially flagged as “special interest” by border authorities.
Adam’s has confirmation that the attackers are already within U.S. borders, potentially numbering up to 1,000, trained and ready for mass casualty events. The New Orleans attack, whether directly linked or not, serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing threat. With the potential for up to 60,000 casualties in the U.S. and attacks on U.S. embassies abroad, the severity of the threat cannot be overstated.
As we reflect on this terrifying possibility, it’s clear that the U.S. must urgently reassess its counter-terrorism strategies, enhance intelligence operations, and secure its borders more effectively. The specter of another catastrophic attack looms large unless immediate, decisive action is taken.

Police officer shot after vehicle rams dozens of New Year’s partygoers in New Orleans, at least ten reported dead.
Jan 1, 2025, 1:59 PM (GMT+2) Israel National News – At least 12 people were killed during New Year’s celebrations in New Orleans, Louisiana, local reports said.
According to the reports, a commercial vehicle rammed into partygoers on New Orleans’ Canal and Bourbon Street in the city’s French Quarter, which had been closed to traffic due to the celebrations.
Police forces are at the scene, and a police officer was shot.
According to CBS, the driver exited the vehicle after the ramming, and opened fire.
There are not yet definitive numbers for dead or injured victims.

CIA whistleblower reveals government ‘gaslighting’ that Americans should be terrified of By LAURA PARNABY
30 December 2024 Daily Mail – A CIA whistleblower has said that Americans should be ‘terrified’ of alleged government gaslighting of former intelligence employees who believe they have been struck down by ‘Havana Syndrome’.
The medically-retired CIA officer spoke with investigative journalist Catherine Herridge about her experience with the debilitating mystery disorder, and how the authorities have treated her since.
Speaking under the pseudonym Alice, the former CIA employee said she spent two decades in government service and began experiencing ‘Havana Syndrome’ – also known as Anomalous Health Incidents (AHIs).
The syndrome is a disputed medical condition experienced by a cluster of US and Canadian government officials who were based in around a dozen overseas locations, which started among employees in Havana in 2016.
Symptoms include dizziness, cognitive problems, insomnia, and headaches. The most prominent theory is that it is caused by pulsed electromagnetic energy and ultrasound emanating from sonic weapons.
Alice told Herridge her injuries are so debilitating that she relies on a service dog. She needed several breaks during the interview and wore dark-tinted glasses to shield her eyes from the studio lighting.
‘I was serving in Africa and I experienced an anomalous health incident in my home on a Saturday night,’ Alice told Herridge.
‘I heard a weird noise. It was a really weird sound that I’ll never, never forget it… and after about a second or two, I felt it in my feet, kind of like the reverb from a speaker.’
Alice said she went to the master bedroom to ask her partner whether he could hear the off-putting noise too.
‘I said, “Hey, do you hear that weird noise?” And the first sign that something was off, I should have known, was when he said, “what noise?”
Alice went back to where she heard the noise. ‘Immediately, as soon as I reentered the space, I heard the noise again,’ she said.
‘My ear started hurting. I started having vertigo.
‘The room was spinning, my head started pulsing. It hurt so badly and I had a ton of pain in my left ear and my ears started ringing and I thought I was going to pass out.’
Alice said she believes several different, concealed weapons could be behind the strange symptoms experienced by herself and many of her colleagues, adding that she thinks Moscow is to blame.
‘I think there are weapons that can be fit in backpacks, ones that can be fit in the trunks of cars, ones that can be planted at a position with line of sight to people from across the street,’ she said.
‘I believe the Russian GRU (Russian military intelligence) came to my house late at night and took me off the battlefield,’ she added.
Asked if her old self died the day she experienced an AHI, Alice responded, ‘A little bit. I was paid for my brain. I was paid for my ability to write well and to write for the president.
‘I was paid to meet with foreigners and to get information that would help advance US security objectives …and I can’t do that anymore the way I used to and it’s really, that’s one of the hardest parts.’

Wen sounded the alarm claiming the response during the early days of the COVID-19 scamdemic were not efficient enough, advocating for quicker and more effective measures to tackle a potential bird flu pandemic. She also fear mongered potential response delays under the new Trump administration, suggesting that immediate action by Biden be taken as soon as possible before Trump’s inauguration. Thank You for Your Thoughts and Prayers – I Returned Home from the Hospital This Weekend By Jim Hoft
Dec. 29, 2024 2:00 pm – Thank you all for your kind and generous thoughts and prayers.
As many of you know, I spent my Christmas holiday in the hospital. I was hospitalized for the past week after having difficulty breathing.
I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure after entering the hospital. The doctors ran several tests and worked diligently to remove the excess fluid on my heart and lungs. It was a difficult week.
On Friday, I left the hospital and am now recuperating at home.
The cardiac care team at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis is top-notch. They took great care of me, and the medical staff helped me remove several pounds of excess fluid that was making it hard to breathe.
I am now feeling much better.
As many of you know, in 2013, I came down with sepsis and nearly died after the bacterial infection targeted my heart.
But I was given a second chance on life and am so grateful for it.
I am grateful for each day.

The great public broadcasting swindle BENJAMIN KERSTEIN
After decades of denial, NPR and PBS finally admit that they receive massive amounts of taxpayer money.
DEC 29, 2024 – American public broadcasting services like PBS and National Public Radio have denied their dependence on taxpayer funds for decades. Whenever criticized on the subject, they have almost always resorted to the standard claim that they “don’t receive much money from the federal government” or the like. This is usually followed by rants about meanies trying to kill Big Bird.
Generally speaking, public broadcasters implied or outright stated that the millions required to run their networks came from grants and donations from corporations, foundations, and other non-profits, as well as from loyal listeners and viewers. In any event, they were certainly not from the federal government.
NPR’s website, for example, claims: “On average, less than 1% of NPR’s annual operating budget comes in the form of grants from CPB [Corporation for Public Broadcasting] and federal agencies and departments.”
This was meant to reassure taxpayers that they were not being forced to subsidize media that, relatively speaking, very few of them were actually watching or listening to.
This was necessary for several reasons, but politics was often first among them. Put simply, public broadcasting in the US is blatantly left-wing and, by and large, shamelessly so. It is, in fact, little more than the propaganda arm of the American progressive left.
Progressive leftists, of course, routinely assert that public broadcasting simply reflects reality. More or less everyone else knows this is nonsense. There is a reason that NPR is widely known in the Jewish community as “National Palestinian Radio.” There is a reason many of us stopped listening to it 23 years ago when its 9/11 coverage quickly collapsed into an orgy of anti-American self-loathing.
The overwhelming majority of Americans—including most Democrats—are not progressive leftists. Therefore, it is unsurprising that a great many Americans have not been happy about paying for a progressive leftist propaganda network. In such a situation, deception on the part of the propagandists is a necessity, if only to keep the lights on.

Oregon Prepares Seditious “Toolkit” to Assist Illegals for Trump’s Illegal Immigration Crackdown By Pamela Geller
December 27, 2024 – Do they work for Americans or illegals? And what can be done about states feverishly working to undermine and sabotage the United Sates of America?
The Oregon Department of Justice unveiled a Sanctuary Promise Community Toolkit as the sanctuary state gears up to resist the incoming Trump administration’s plan to deport illegal immigrants. Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, a Democrat, said the toolkit, which is available as an online website, includes brochures, posters, and public service announcements in English, and Spanish. “I asked my Civil Rights Unit here at the Oregon DOJ to do whatever we could to provide the people, businesses, and local governments of our state with easy-to-read materials to help them know their rights and educate others,” she announced in a press release. The toolkit provides resources to illegal immigrants such as a crisis hotline, and avenues to report a suspected Oregon Sanctuary Law violation (Washington Examiner).
In 1987, Oregon lawmakers passed then-Rep. Rocky Barilla’s HB 2314 in response to several raids by INS – the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service, which transformed into USCIS, DHS and ICE in 2003. The law is largely considered the first “sanctuary state” policy in the country (Fox News).

Surge In Radiation Prompts Concerns Over Drones In New York City
December 19, 2024 Capitol Hill News – Rising radiation levels in New York City have sparked growing concern after a series of unexplained drone sightings over the East Coast. Authorities are warning the public to remain cautious, as the situation has raised questions about national security and the possibility of a looming threat.
The latest radiation readings, which were recorded using Geiger Counter World Map, show a startling increase in radiation levels in areas such as the Bronx and Upper West Side. In some locations, radiation levels reached 1,048 counts-per-minute (CPM), significantly above the 200 CPM safety threshold. Typically, people are exposed to background radiation in the range of 5 to 60 CPM, making the recent readings highly unusual.
Gordon Chang, a noted expert on U.S.-China relations, has linked the drone sightings to the rising radiation levels, suggesting that the drones may be connected to an effort to locate a nuclear device. “These drones could be looking for something dangerous,” Chang speculated, citing the concentration of radiation across both sides of the Hudson River. His comments drew parallels to the Chinese spy balloon incident of 2023, where national security concerns were raised over similar aerial activity.
Chang also criticized the Biden administration for its failure to adequately address the situation. He urged President Joe Biden to provide clarity on what the government knows and to be more transparent with the American people. “The president must address the nation and explain what the government is doing about this,” he said.

Mayor Michael Melham expressed concern over a damaged shipment of medical devices, though local authorities have downplayed the significance of the incident, calling it a “non-emergency.”
