Thursday, April 13, 2023 – (Natural News) The Bank for International Settlements (BIS), which is often described as the central bank of central banks, is working on a new global central bank digital currency (CBDC) that could become the new one-world digital currency.
Known as “Project Icebreaker,” the plan involves coordinating all of the world’s central banks and their respective currencies under a new foreign exchange clearing house for retail CBDCs, meaning digital currencies used by ordinary people and businesses in their day-to-day affairs.
Much like the SWIFT payment system for international settlements, Project Icebreaker will enable varying digital currencies to be traded from country to country both quickly and efficiently.
The “Icebreaker Hub,” as the BIS is calling it, will facilitate data transfers for an array of transactions that occur at banks, both internally and in their dealings with other banks.

April 13, 2023 – Former President Donald Trump has received a dire warning and a strange offer this week.
According to Newsweek, Russia’s “merchant of death” extended an offer of asylum to Trump, stating that he believes the former President’s life is at risk if he stays in the United States.
During an interview on a Russian state TV channel, Viktor Bout, an infamous international arms dealer portrayed by Nicolas Cage in the 2005 film “Lord of War,” told a reporter that he had sent a telegram to Trump cautioning him about a looming danger to his life and advising him to seek refuge in Russia for his safety.
According to Bout, the threat to Trump’s life does not stem from an assassin or an unknown conspiracy. Rather, it is from the former President’s own government, as a result of the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation into allegations that Trump falsified business records to conceal a hush money payment made to former adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 election, Newsweek noted.

Wednesday, April 12, 2023 – (Natural News) The United States is seeing increasingly fewer maternity wards available to expectant mothers, due both to money and a decline in fertility and birth rates.
Since 2011, according to a report by the healthcare consulting firm Chartis, 217 hospitals across the country have closed their labor and delivery departments. In the past year alone, according to CNN, 13 closures either occurred or were announced.
The Chartis report explains that the states with the highest loss of access to obstetrical care include Minnesota, Texas, Iowa, Kansas, and Wisconsin, each of which lost more than 10 facilities over the past roughly 12 years.
“One of the reasons for the closures is money,” reported CNN about the matter. “Other reasons include a low volume of births and staffing and recruitment.”

Nearly half of all American births are paid for by Medicaid, which has low reimbursement rates
The societal cost of all this maternity ward loss, according to data released by the March of Dimes last year, includes the more than 2.2 million women of childbearing age over 1,100 U.S. counties who now live in maternity care “deserts.”
What this means is that more than 2.2 million women who could get, or might already be, pregnant have no convenient access to the maternity care they need in order to safely deliver a baby.

President Joe Biden’s border chief is expanding his migrant transfer camps in Panama, even as he says he will clamp down on the global migrants who are using those camps to help reach the United States.
“I don’t see any indication whatsoever this [migrant traffic in Panama] is stopping,” journalist Michael Yon told Breitbart News shortly after he visited the migrant camps in Panama that are being expanded by homeland secretary Alejandro Mayorkas:
They’re clearly expanding — today, just hours ago, I was in a camp just 300 meters from where I’m sitting, and they’ve got new buildings there and nobody’s slept on the bunks yet. These buildings house about 60 bunk beds each — that’s about 120 [sleepers] per building …
Some of these bunk beds are brand new. They still have the plastic on them. I was in the building today looking at them. And they’re still increasing [capacity]. They’re clearing land right over here, right behind the hotel I’m staying at … to put more buildings. We were in both camps today. They’re both at least twice as big as they were last year.
In 2022, Mayorkas provided taxpayer-funded aid, security, and buses to bring 250,000 migrants north after they crossed the Panama jungle on the border with South America. The migrants cross the deadly Darien Gap jungle trails after traveling from Colombia on boats protected by U.S.-funded Panamanian security forces.
“Right now, they are [moving north] about 1,200 [migrants per day] … or about 30 buses,” Yon added.
Data from the Panama government says almost 90,000 migrants crossed through the Darien Gap in the first 90 days of the year.
The daily traffic could deliver 430,000 migrants in 2023 into the homes and jobs that would otherwise go to ordinary Americans and their children.
