ICE Arrests Man in Middle of His Own Trial, Irate Judge Holds ICE Agent in Contempt of Court By Samantha Chang
April 2, 2025 The Western Journal – In the latest egregious example of judicial overreach, a city judge in Boston has charged an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer with contempt for arresting an illegal alien who was on trial for felony fraud.
The clown-show unfolded Monday, when Boston Municipal Court Judge Mark Summerville held ICE Agent Brian Sullivan in contempt for arresting William Martell-Lebron — an illegal alien from the Dominican Republic — in the middle of his trial last week, WBTS-CD reported.
Per the Boston Globe, Martell-Lebron’s attorneys claim he was detained by plainclothes ICE agents and placed in an unmarked SUV while leaving the courthouse. The attorneys further alleged that Sullivan told prosecuting attorneys of the plan to detain the illegal alien during a lunch break that day.
On Monday, Summerville accused the ICE agent of violating the rights of the defendant, an illegal alien who was on trial for providing false information on a Massachusetts driver’s license application, according to WBTS.
For reference, giving false info to obtain a Massachusetts driver’s license is a felony punishable by a five-year jail sentence.
Instead of being upset that an illegal alien — who’s not even supposed to be here in the first place — committed a felony, Judge Summerville got enraged that an ICE agent enforced federal immigration laws by arresting the illegal alien.
In addition to holding the agent in contempt, the judge dismissed the fraud charges against the defendant.

In so doing, Summerville has joined a motley crew of left-wing, activist jurists who are defying President Donald Trump’s orders to enforce longstanding federal immigration laws.
As a reminder, a municipal court judge presides over a city court, typically handling traffic offenses and minor violations of local ordinances.
They do not have jurisdiction over federal laws. So Summerville has overstepped his bounds on multiple levels.
A judge’s job is not to make laws, but to interpret laws that are already in the books.
Summerville’s treasonous attempt to block Trump’s executive order to deport illegal aliens is a subversion of the will of the American people, who voted him into office.
Instead of obstructing a presidential directive, activist judges who oppose Trump‘s agenda should try to win a congressional or presidential election if they want to rewrite U.S. laws.
Until then, they should stay in their lanes and not illegally legislate from the bench.
Unelected, rogue judges such as Mark Summerville must stop wasting tax money and abusing the U.S. court system to advocate on behalf of foreign nationals.
Unlike Trump, no one voted for these subversive agitators. If they don’t like what the president is doing, they should rant about it to a therapist.

April 1, 2025 Jewish Breaking News – After blocking $430 million in federal grants to Columbia University for its failure to crack down on antisemitism, President Trump now has his sights set on Harvard.
On Tuesday, the Joint Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, comprising officials from the Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and the General Services Administration, announced it will review more than $255.6 million in direct contracts and $8.7 billion in research grants that Harvard and its affiliated institutions receive.
“Harvard has served as a symbol of the American Dream for generations,” said Education Secretary Linda McMahon. “Harvard’s failure to protect students on campus from antisemitic discrimination – all while promoting divisive ideologies over free inquiry – has put its reputation in serious jeopardy.”
Like most universities post Oct. 7, Harvard abandoned its Jewish students to a nightmarish existence of unchecked antisemitism and intimidation. According to a federal lawsuit filed against the university, Jewish students on campus have been physically assaulted, spat upon, and threatened with violence simply for expressing their support for Israel.
Perhaps most disturbing is the alleged complicity of some Harvard faculty members, where some have used their classrooms to spread anti-Israel propaganda and have even gone so far as to encourage Hamas sympathizers to engage in physical intimidation and violence against their Jewish peers.
Harvard has indicated that it is willing to cooperate with the investigation. With students paying north of $56,000 for yearly tuition and $80,000 in total expenses, the university is also under mounting pressure from outside donors to restore its standing as the gold standard in higher education.
“We are pleased that Harvard is willing to engage with us on these goals,” said HHS Acting General Counsel Sean Keveney, though his measured tone contrasted with sharper comments from GSA Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum, who warned that Harvard must do more to “retain the privilege of receiving federal taxpayer’s hard-earned dollars.”
The review comes as part of the administration’s broader enforcement of Trump’s Executive Order on Combating Antisemitism, which directs federal agencies to consider the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism when evaluating discrimination complaints under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

Russia issued a warning against the US, stating that any military attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities will have “catastrophic” effects. This comes after US President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Iran unless the country comes to an agreement with Washington on its nuclear activities.
Speaking in an interview with the International Affairs journal, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov raised concern over the issue. He stressed that the threats and ultimatums will increase tensions.
“Threats are indeed being heard, ultimatums are also being heard,” Ryabkov said.
“We consider such methods inappropriate, we condemn them, we consider them a way for (the US) to impose its own will on the Iranian side,” he added.
In spite of the current tensions, Russia has refrained from directly criticising the US president. Instead, Moscow has left its diplomatic aspirations intact.
They’ve already indicated readiness to act as a mediator between the US and Iran, after the strategic partnership treaty with Iran was signed in January.
Trump’s warning to Iran
In his latest comments, Trump threatened that unless Iran agreed with Washington on its nuclear program, the nation would suffer dire repercussions.
Speaking to NBC News, he stated, “If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing. It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”
This announcement came after Trump’s withdrawal of the US from Iran nuclear agreement, which had restricted Iran’s nuclear program in return for sanctions relief.
Iran insists that its nuclear energy program is peaceful and not intended to build a nuclear weapon.
However, Ryabkov believes that Trump’s recent statements have only made the situation more complicated. “The consequences of this, especially if the strikes are on nuclear infrastructure, could be catastrophic for the entire region,” he warned.
Ryabkov urged that efforts be made to find a peaceful resolution.
“While there is still time and the ‘train has not left,’ we need to redouble our efforts to try to reach an agreement on a reasonable basis. Russia is ready to offer its good services to Washington, Tehran, and everyone who is interested in this,” he added.

Indiana University fired professor on the day of FBI raids, documents show Brian Rosenzweig
April 1, 2025 The Herald-Times – Indiana University professor Xiaofeng Wang was terminated the same day the FBI searched his home.
- The FBI has not released details about the investigation into Wang.
- The American Association of University Professors is opposing Wang’s termination, claiming it violates IU policy.
This story was updated to correct an inaccuracy.
Indiana University terminated professor Xiaofeng Wang on the same day his home was searched by the FBI, according to a document shared by the American Association of University Professors’ IU-Bloomington chapter.
The termination letter, sent via email by IU-Bloomington Provost Rahul Shrivastav, said Wang, who taught at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering, was terminated “effective immediately,” and would not be eligible for rehire at IU. Shrivastav said in the letter that he understood Wang had accepted a teaching position at a university in Singapore and would start there this summer. The letter did not mention the FBI investigation.
IU has not clarified when or why it started scrubbing the profiles of Wang and his wife, Nianli Ma, from university websites. IU spokesperson Mark Bode referred the Herald-Times to the FBI for questions when asked about the removals.
A home owned by Wang, described in an archived IU webpage as an expert in cybersecurity, and his wife in Bloomington was searched by the FBI on Friday, March 28. Another home owned by Wang and Ma in Carmel also was searched by the FBI that day, according to WTHR.
Searches of federal court records so far have not turned up any cases related to Wang or Ma.

Faculty organization: Termination against policy
IU-Bloomington’s AAUP chapter released a statement Monday opposing Wang’s tenure termination. The AAUP said Wang’s immediate termination violated IU policies for due process, including the right of tenured faculty to a hearing and the requirement for advanced notice of termination. IU policy requires a year of notice for dismissal of tenured professors, with a minimum of 10 days’ notice for “serious personal misconduct.”
“We are aware of news reports indicating that Professor Wang is under investigation by law enforcement,” the letter read. “While the outcome of those investigations may ultimately bear on Professor Wang’s continued appointment at IU, the mere fact of an investigation or of unadjudicated allegations cannot justify failure to comply with university policies on the part of the administration. It is fundamental that individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

IU appears to still be scrubbing mentions of Wang in the wake of the FBI search. On Monday, they removed Wang’s name and title as director of the Luddy School’s Security and Privacy in Informatics, Computing, and Engineering (SPICE) lab, as shown through an archived webpage.
Little information about reason for search
On Friday, a dozen unmarked cars and SUVs were observed at Wang and Ma’s home on Xavier Court, a cul-de-sac off Winslow Drive in Bloomington.
FBI spokeswoman Chris Bavender confirmed the search but did not share details about what the federal agents are investigating.
“The FBI conducted court authorized law enforcement activity at that location today,” Bavender said.
An IU distinguished professor profile listed Wang, who came to IU in 2004, as co-director of the Center for Distributed Confidential Computing, a project funded by the National Science Foundation. “He is considered to be one of the most prominent systems security and privacy researchers,” the profile says, overseeing research projects totaling more than $20 million.
Ma was listed in IU’s directory as a systems analyst and programmer at the Herman B Wells Library.

Mar 31, 2025 DailyWire.com -French opposition leader Marine Le Pen has been barred from running for political office following her conviction — along with several others in France’s Right-leaning National Rally Party — on charges of embezzling public funds.
The charges against Le Pen involved funding from the European Parliament to her party — some of which prosecutors said she had used to pay her own personal assistant and bodyguard.
Prosecutors asked that Le Pen receive two years in prison and five years of political ineligibility — the latter ensuring that she would not be able to run for president in 2027, a race she is currently favored to win.
Le Pen, who claimed prior to her sentencing that barring her from running would amount to “political death,” came in second to current French President Emmanuel Macron in the last two elections, and her party has been steadily gaining support. She argued that the court’s move to declare her ineligible to run would effectively disenfranchise millions of voters.
“There are 11 million people who voted for the movement I represent. So tomorrow, potentially, millions and millions of French people would see themselves deprived of their candidate in the election,” she said ahead of the sentencing. She stormed out of the courtroom on Monday before her full sentence had been announced.
Le Pen, who claimed prior to the sentencing that the prosecution’s goal had been to sideline her in the 2027 election, doubled down in a Monday appearance on French television network TF1: “It was a political decision that was made. The magistrate took it upon herself to implement the provisional execution of the ineligibility, to render my appeal on this matter useless in order to prevent me from standing and being elected President of the Republic.”
Le Pen is not the only person to believe that the move was primarily political. Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini summed up his thoughts in a post on X, saying, “Those who fear the judgment of voters often seek reassurance from the courts. In Paris, they have condemned Marine Le Pen and would like to remove her from political life. A bad situation that is also being observed in other countries such as Romania. What is happening against @MLP_officiel is a declaration of war from Brussels, at a time when the belligerent impulses of Von der Leyen and Macron are terrifying. March 31, 2025 New York Post – President Trump has insisted that he’s serious about wanting to serve a third term in office, an ambition that runs contrary to the US Constitution.
In his second term in office, the limit allowed under the 22nd Amendment, Trump suggested there were still ways for him to spend another four years in the White House and secure his legacy in American history as the second president ever to serve more than eight years.
While Trump has remained silent on how he could accomplish this goal, his supporters claim there are viable pathways to a third term, including ratifying the Constitution.
President Trump said he is serious about running for a third term come 2028.
What did Trump say?
Trump brought up the idea of serving three or more terms following his inauguration in January, which he later claimed was just a joke for the “fake news media.”
The president, however, brought up the idea again during an interview with NBC on Sunday, claiming, “There are methods which you could do it.”
“I’m not joking,” Trump said. “A lot of people want me to do it. But, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration.”
Trump previously said he joked about running for a third term, but on Sunday, the president said he was “not joking.”
What does the US Constitution say?
The 22nd Amendment flatly denies a president the chance of serving more than two terms in office.
“No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice, and no person who has held the office of president, or acted as president, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected president shall be elected to the office of the president more than once.”
The law was ratified in 1951 to make certain what had been a tradition up until then for presidents to deny themselves a third term, just as George Washington had done.
How could Trump run for a third term?
Trump’s supporters have called for the Constitution to be ratified to fulfill the president’s ambition, with Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) introducing a resolution in January that would allow a president to serve up to three terms as long as they were not consecutive.
The law would effectively make Trump the only former president eligible to run for a third term as Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton — the only remaining living presidents — all served consecutive terms during their presidency.
Others also claim that nothing is stopping Trump from serving a third term through succession, calling for him to make a vice presidential bid in 2028 and then have his running mate step down after the inauguration.
What do legal experts say?
Derek Muller, a professor of election law at Notre Dame, poured water on the “running mate loophole” by noting that under the 12th Amendment, “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”
Since Trump is barred from running again due to the 22nd Amendment, he is ineligible to run for vice president.
“I don’t think there’s any ‘one weird trick’ to getting around presidential term limits,” Muller said.
Have any presidents served more than two terms?
Franklin D. Roosevelt is the only US president who has ever served more than two terms in office, which occurred prior to the ratification of the 22nd Amendment.
Roosevelt was elected to office four times, with the need to unify America through the Great Depression and World War II often cited for his popularity and unprecedented time in office.
Roosevelt died during his fourth term in 1945.
‘Very Angry’ Trump Sends Threats to Both Putin and Zelensky: ‘We Made a Deal’ By Jack Davis
March 31, 2025 The Western Journal – President Donald Trump vented his anger at the leaders of Ukraine and Russia on Sunday as what Trump hoped would be a lightning dash for peace has turned into a long difficult slog.
Trump warned Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that his patience was starting to fray.
“You could say that I was very angry, pissed off, when Putin said yesterday that — you know, when Putin started getting into Zelenskyy’s credibility, because that’s not going in the right location, you understand?” Trump told NBC, according to The Washington Post.
Trump said if Russia sabotages any hope for peace, it will pay a price.
“If Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault — which it might not be — but if I think it was Russia’s fault, I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia,” Trump told NBC.
“That would be that if you buy oil from Russia, you can’t do business in the United States,” Trump said. “There will be a 25 percent tariff on all oil, a 25- to 50-point tariff on all oil.”
“There will be a 25 percent tariff on oil and other products sold in the United States, secondary tariffs,” Trump said, saying he would act within a month if no ceasefire is reached.
Trump said he has “a very good relationship” with Putin and added that “the anger dissipates quickly … if he does the right thing.”
Trump later lashed out at Zelenskyy, who he said was trying to walk back a previously agreed-upon deal for U.S. rights to rare earth minerals in Ukraine.
“I think Zelenskyy, by the way, he’s trying to back out of the rare earth deal,” Trump said in a video posted to X.
“We made a deal on rare earth, and now he’s saying, ‘Well, you know, I want to renegotiate the deal.’ He wants to be a member of NATO. Well, he was never going to be a member of NATO. He understands that, so if he’s looking to renegotiate the deal, he’s got big problems,” Trump said.
Trump said that “we’re making a lot of progress,” while noting “there’s tremendous hatred” between the two leaders, according to CBS.
Trump said he believes Putin will come around in the end.
“I don’t think he’s going to go back on his word,” he said. “I’ve known him for a long time. We’ve always gotten along well.”
However, Trump said there was a “psychological deadline.”
“If I think they’re tapping us along, I will not be happy about it,” he said.
MAR 31, 2025 – Despite our already outlining each of these details, the New York Times is now confirming. Don’t overlook the geopolitical consequences that will surface as a result of this publication.
The New York Times published two articles {HERE and HERE} revealing that U.S. military boots are on the ground in Ukraine and are actively involved in the ongoing targeting of strikes into Russia, and that the CIA is conducting targeted strikes into Russia from within Ukraine.

New York Times – For nearly three years before Mr. Trump’s return to power, the United States and Ukraine were joined in an extraordinary partnership of intelligence, strategy, planning and technology whose evolution and inner workings have been known only to a small circle of American and allied officials.
… The idea behind the partnership was that America’s close cooperation with Ukraine would compensate for Russia’s vast advantages in manpower and weaponry. To guide the Ukrainians as they deployed their ever-more-sophisticated arsenal, the Americans created an operation called Task Force Dragon.
The secret center of the partnership was at the U.S. Army garrison in Wiesbaden, Germany. Each morning, U.S. and Ukrainian military officers set targeting priorities — Russian units, pieces of equipment or infrastructure. American and coalition intelligence officers searched satellite imagery, radio emissions and intercepted communications to find Russian positions. Task Force Dragon then gave the Ukrainians the coordinates so they could shoot at them.
… In spring 2022, the Biden administration agreed to send High Mobility Artillery Systems, or HIMARS, which used satellite-guided rockets for strikes up to 50 miles distant.
In the war’s first year, the Ukrainians were extremely dependent on the Americans for intelligence, and Task Force Dragon vetted and oversaw virtually every HIMARS strike. The strikes caused Russian casualty rates to soar.
… Easing a prohibition against American boots on Ukrainian ground, Wiesbaden was allowed to put about a dozen military advisers in Kyiv. To avoid drawing public attention to their presence, the Pentagon initially called them “subject matter experts.” Later the team was expanded, to about three dozen, and the military advisers were eventually allowed to travel to Ukrainian command posts closer to the fighting.
… In January 2024, U.S. and Ukrainian military officers in Wiesbaden jointly planned a campaign — using coalition-supplied long-range missiles, along with Ukrainian drones — to attack about 100 Russian military targets across Crimea. The campaign, named Operation Lunar Hail, largely succeeded in forcing the Russians to pull equipment, facilities and forces in Crimea back to the Russian mainland.
… Ultimately, the U.S. military and C.I.A. were allowed to help with strikes into Russia. […] Longstanding policy barred the C.I.A. from providing intelligence on targets on Russian soil. But the C.I.A. could request “variances,” carve-outs to support strikes for specific objectives. Intelligence had identified a vast munitions depot in Toropets, 290 miles north of the Ukrainian border.
On Sept. 18, 2024, a swarm of drones slammed into the munitions depot. The blast, as powerful as a small earthquake, opened a crater the width of a football field. Later, the C.I.A. was allowed to enable Ukrainian drone strikes in southern Russia to try to slow advances in eastern Ukraine. (more)
As we have outlined for several years, including our own research by driving through Ukraine, the CIA has been operating within Ukraine from the beginning.
The CIA took over most of the strategic operations, and as it currently stands, the CIA is organizing the majority of the Ukraine war against Russia. This is where you need to understand how CIA authorization takes place. In order for the CIA to operate in Ukraine, Joe Biden had to sign a “presidential finding memo” authorizing the CIA to conduct covert operations.
This New York Times article is describing the outcome of those “finding memoranda.” Which brings me to this Tweet I sent in response to the revelatory article:
Dear President Trump, if this NYT article is accurate (it is), there has to be a “Presidential Finding Memo” authorizing the CIA to coordinate attacks into Russia.
You might want to have CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and DNI Tulsi Gabbard pull it out of the authorization library for your review, prior to the next call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Also, to avoid embarrassment, as your team are likely aware – and possibly willing to admit, that “finding memo” was also briefed to the former Gang of Eight in congress. Which means Secretary of State Marco Rubio as vice-chair of the SSCI and Go8 member, already knew of this CIA operation, authorizing their involvement in targeting Russian Federation territory.
You might want to ask Secretary Rubio about that, and organize a way to discuss it, prior to Rubio coming face to face with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov at the next meeting.

The motive is clear for the New York Times to outline how the CIA is operating inside Ukraine to target the Russian Federation. The operatives who leak to the NYT want distance between Trump and Putin.
This admission of CIA involvement puts Trump in an awkward place. The awkwardness expands, when you understand how the CIA is authorized to conduct these operations. Biden signed a “finding memo,” authorizing the CIA to conduct missile strikes into the Russian Federation.
Senator Marco Rubio as SSCI vice-chair and a Gang of Eight member, was ‘read in’ to that CIA authorization. Senator Rubio is now Secretary of State facing Sergey Lavrov, and the Russians know exactly how these things are done.
On one hand, the NYT article spills the beans and informs the public. On the other hand, their reason for purposefully spilling the beans is to create a problem for Trump and Rubio, and possibly between Trump and Rubio.
Now it makes sense why Secretary of State Rubio was the first Trump official to publicly say the United States was in a proxy war against Russia, using Ukraine as the justification.
On the upside, this creates an opportunity for President Trump to distance himself from the prior administration and withdraw all CIA operatives and admitted/revealed U.S. military boots on the ground in Ukraine.
President Trump could use this revelation, now public and widespread, to reset the U.S-Ukraine dynamic and withdraw all elements of prior Biden authorization from the conflict.
But, will he?

A Dubai man has been jailed for six years after sexually abusing a 13-year-old British girl he groomed her online.
Hamdan Alshamsi, 21, flew from Abu Dhabi to the UK last Christmas Eve to meet the child.
He had admitted three charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child at Lewes Crown Court.
The court heard how Alshamsi first made contact with the Year 9 pupil on Snapchat last year, falsely telling her he was just 16-years-old.
The 21-year-old bombarded the girl with sexually explicit messages before offering to travel to Britain to meet her.
On December 27, Alshamsi checked into a £250-a-night room at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.
He then booked an Uber to collect the girl from her home and take her to the hotel.
There, he spent two days sexually abusing the 13-year-old.
Police launched an urgent search for the teenager and tracked her mobile phone signal to Brighton.
Detectives scoured the coastline before narrowing their search to the hotel.
The girl was eventually found in a hotel corridor, telling officers she wanted to be with her mother.
Police discovered condoms, lubricant, a whipped cream canister and vodka in Alshamsi’s room.
He was located in the hotel spa, relaxing and enjoying luxury treatments….
Hamdan Alshamsi was found by the police enjoying himself in the hotel spa, quite satisfied with himself for his sexual escapade. Remorse? Don’t be silly. That’s for Infidels. The English girl had it coming — after all, she had fallen for his fiction, had not objected to the sexually explicit online messages he sent her. And besides, she was a non-Muslim, and therefore among “the most vile of created beings,” fair game for those — the Muslims — who are “the best of peoples.” Any Muslim male would have seen her as “easy meat.”
Her mother says the girl is now on “suicide watch.” She is accompanied everywhere, for fear of self-harm. She will never be the same. As for her self-satisfied rapist, he’ll now serve six years of prison da’wa, converting others to Islam. And upon release, he’ll be deported to Dubai. But something tells me that the pedophile urge will prove too strong to suppress, and that he’ll be back, if not in the UK, then somewhere else in Western Europe, where he will have snared another young victim via the Internet, with the same tall tale about his age, the same insidious online grooming, the same meeting at a luxury hotel where he will hold his young prey hostage and repeatedly rape her.
