May. 5, 2023 – Defense attorney Roger Roots, representing J6 political prisoner Dominic Pezzolla, was on “pins and needles” during a call with The Gateway Pundit Thursday morning as jurors reached a partial verdict on the Proud Boys seditious conspiracy trial.
Suspense suddenly morphed into shock, heartbreak and despair. An hour later, a full verdict was deliberated convicting Enrique Tarrio, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl and Ethan Nordean on three counts of conspiracy and every other felony leveled against them by the Department of Justice.
“I mean look at Tarrio — Tarrio was not even in DC! Look at Pezolla, he had only been a Proud Boy for 30 days,” Roots lamented. “They convicted everyone on the breaking of the fence, including Tarrio — are you kidding me breaking the fence from 50 miles away?”
“I can’t believe it. We fought for four months. We lived it 24/7. We are all, everyone, is depressed.”
Initially after closing arguments, the defendants were hopeful at least one of the Joe Biden-supporting jurors would rationally conclude the government’s narrative surrounding their alleged ploy to “violently overthrow the federal government” is an elaborate fabrication and hoax.
But with a jury comprised of ardent left-wing activists, a judge that incessantly demonstrated partiality to the government, fear of government intimidation and the weight of the DOJ’s unlimited resources combined with the corporate press running an all-encompassing hit job on the “white supremacist” Proud Boys for years on end, the case was doomed from the start.
Presiding Judge Timothy J. Kelly, a Trump-appointed magistrate whose wife works for Democrat DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, modified the definition of “seditious conspiracy” from how the crime was previously used in the Oath Keepers, lowering the standard as to what misconduct qualifies as sedition.
Chicago Police Precincts Turned Into Unofficial Migrant Shelters
May 6, 2023 – According to police sources in the city, due to Chicago’s sanctuary city policy, police precincts have turned into unofficial migrant shelters.
Undocumented migrants in Chicago have begun spilling into the hallways of police precincts and are sleeping there, a new report says.
Police sources in the city told Fox News it was due to Chicago’s “ridiculous sanctuary city policy.”
“They clearly do not have a plan to deal with it and they’re placing the cops once again in undue risk,” an unnamed Chicago Police source said, according to Fox News.

May. 5, 2023 – Burger King is closing 400 stores nationwide by the end of 2023.
It is unclear which locations will be closing down.

The popular fast food chain Burger King plans to close up to 400 restaurants before the end of 2023, TODAY.com confirmed.
This week, the CEO of Restaurant Brands International Inc., which owns Burger King, said they are preparing to close between 300 and 400 locations.
The CEO, Joshua Kobza, said in a call announcing Q1 earnings results, that the company “historically” closes “a couple hundred” Burger King restaurants each year.
So far this year, several large Burger King franchisees have filed for bankruptcy: Illinois-based Toms King, Michigan-based EYM King, and Utah-based Meridian Restaurants Unlimited.
According to a Restaurant Brands International release announcing the earnings, 124 Burger Kings have already shuttered this year, bringing the total number in the United States to fewer than 7,000.
Kobza said in the call that the company plans to focus on working with smaller franchisees to “improve the overall health” of the company’s franchise system.

May 05, 2023 – A viral Bud Light “Ghost Town” video shows no buyers of the embattled beer at a concession stand in Boston’s Fenway Park while a stand right next door boasts a long line.

In the clip, a man can be heard remarking, “Guys, this is so funny and bizarre.” As he pans to the customer-less Bud Light stand, he adds, “That is every single Bud Light stand here at Fenway Park in Boston … holy crap, they’re in trouble.”
The two workers behind the counter at the Bud Light stand were both seen apparently staring at their cellphones.
The TikTok clip posted Wednesday has garnered 1.3 million views and nearly 10,000 comments as of Friday morning.
The video appeared to be recorded at the concession area in the bleacher concourse on Yawkey Way during a Red Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays, according to the New York Post.
The Post added that it sought comment from the Red Sox and Fenway Park.

The Navy partnered with Petty Officer 2nd Class Joshua Kelley, who is also a drag queen who performs under the stage name Harpy Daniels, to promote the service in a social media campaign that lasted from October of last year to March.
The Navy explained to the Daily Caller that the campaign was meant as a recruitment tool to help the service meet its enlistment goals.
Kelley, who calls himself “nonbinary,” was promoted as a “Navy digital ambassador.” In a video announcing the initiative, he described himself as an “advocate” for people who were “oppressed for years in the service.”

It’s all so vile.”
“I also highly doubt that prohibiting them to start over elsewhere in the EU is even legal. The whole idea of the EU was supposed to be about freedom of movement and freedom of workers. This is some next-level USSR stuff,” Vlaardingerbroek added.
