- OrganicEye, an organic industry watchdog, warns the proposed rule undermines organic standards further by permanently codifying practices that violate the spirit of organics, and even the current letter of the law.
- The proposed rule would allow organic poultry farmers to stack birds in multitiered aviaries stretching from floor to ceiling, providing as little as 1 square foot of space per animal. Outdoor space requirements are also limited to 1 to 2 square feet, depending on the size of the bird.
- The draft rule allows egg-laying hens to be confined for the first 16 to 21 weeks of their life, and broiler chickens can be confined until just one or two weeks before their scheduled slaughter. The rule also allows half of the outdoor area to be covered in either concrete or gravel, which prevents the chickens from engaging in their natural instinctual behavior, which is already an organic requirement.
At a time when organic farmers are going out of business and being gobbled up by corporate agribusinesses by the hundreds, draft regulation currently under consideration would legalize factory farm conditions for organic chickens, thereby pushing even more of the smaller organic farmers out.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer on Monday issued Devon Archer a subpoena for a deposition this week.
Comer is currently investigating Joe Biden’s bribery scheme involving a Ukrainian oligarch and Burisma Holdings.
The Ukraine-Biden-bribery evidence was first presented to the FBI by a trusted, highly credible, well paid informant back in 2017.
The bribery allegations involve Mykola Zlochevsky, the Ukrainian oligarch who hired Hunter Biden to serve on the board of Burisma Holdings.
Devon Archer worked with Hunter Biden as a board member of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company run by Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky.
Archer and Hunter Biden together also ran Rosemont Seneca, a DC-based investment firm.
It is believed Hunter Biden received classified information from Joe Biden on Ukraine and then emailed the information to his business partner Devon Archer.

50-year-old Robert G. Bowers was convicted by a 12 member jury after hearing from witnesses, The Associated Press reports.

In light of recent revelations from whistleblowers, including the fact that the FBI hid evidence that the owner of Burisma made 17 blackmail tapes of the Bidens, who were allegedly paid $10 million ($5 mil to Hunter, $5 mil to Joe), Republican lawmakers want to take a closer look at Biden’s tax return, according to Breitbart.
Before the 2020 election, USA Today published a “fact check” article that tried to support the claims that the Bidens earned “$15.6 million … from speaking fees and book deals” from 2017 to 2019, and that “more than $10 million of that total income was profits from Biden’s memoir ‘Promise Me, Dad’ and $3 million in profits from Jill Biden’s book.”
A closer inspection of Biden’s 2017 tax return raises serious questions over where the Bidens’ income actually originated (maybe a lab in Beijing?).
“Follow the source link provided to that $10 million number, though, and you’ll end up at Joe Biden’s campaign website with financial disclosure links to only their individual returns — no S-corporation tax returns,” writes The Federalist. “So, in reality, readers were left with a smokescreen.”
And according to GOP lawmakers, transparency is lacking on where exactly the $10 million came from.
“Biden should disclose and every member of the press ought to hound him until he does,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), co-author of the 2020 Senate report on the Bidens, told Breitbart.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) told the outlet that Biden should produce unredacted bank records to provide transparency.
““The President seems to find selling out our country funny. We don’t,” she said. “If he’s serious about proving our allegations wrong he should release his and his family’s unredacted bank records and show the American people where all this money is coming from. The FBI can’t protect him forever.”

Conservatives and Bud Light customers began boycotting, resulting in the product losing its position as the top-selling beer in the United States to the Mexican lager Modelo Especial. In addition, two Anheuser-Busch InBev executives who supervised marketing collaboration were put on leave.
After Bud Light, Target was boycotted by conservatives over selling LGBT-themed products for children.
The boycott resulted in Target losing over $12 billion in market value in just over a week, leading the company to remove some of the more controversial LGBT-themed products from its stores.

June 16, 2023 – Former President Donald Trump reportedly rejected suggestions from his attorneys to arrange a settlement with the Justice Department to avoid federal charges and instead, he listened to the advice of Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, a conservative legal activist, and others who said he could legally keep the classified documents and should fight government prosecutors.
Trump attorney Christopher Kise wanted to see last fall if he could quietly approach the Justice Department to negotiate a settlement with the hopes that Attorney General Merrick Garland and the agency would want to avoid bringing charges against the former president, The Washington Post reported Wednesday, citing multiple people familiar with the matter.
Trump was not interested in settling with the Justice Department after listening to other attorneys who advocated for a more aggressive approach, so Kise did not approach prosecutors with his proposal.
Judge splits charges against FTX founder Bankman-Fried into two trials

June 15, 2023 – A federal judge on Thursday scheduled two separate trials for FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried to allow a case against him to proceed amid an ongoing legal dispute over the prosecutors’ pursuing new charges against him after the Bahamas agreed to his extradition.
Judge Lewis A. Kaplan allowed the case to proceed to trial in October, when prosecutors will pursue eight of the 13 charges levied against the former cryptocurrency mogul, the New York Times reported. The prosecution agreed to withdraw the remaining five charges temporarily, but with the caveat that Kaplan schedule a trial for next year to address them. Kaplan set the date at March 11.
The ex-mogul has pleaded not guilty and posted $250 million in bond. He is currently under house arrest at his parents’ home in Palo Alto, Calif.

The graphic aired hours after former President Donald Trump’s arraignment in Florida in the classified documents case.
The network had aired a split screen of footage from Biden’s remarks at a Juneteenth event at the White House, and from Trump’s speech in New Jersey, in which the former President blamed Biden for the indictment against him.
Around 9:00 p.m. ET, the text at the bottom of the screen on Fox News read, “Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested.”
In a statement to NBC News on Wednesday, a spokesperson for the network said: “The chyron was taken down immediately and was addressed.”
The spokesperson did not respond to an email that asked whether there would be any consequences for the staff members behind the text in the graphic.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre hit back at Fox News when asked about the chyron during the press briefing on Wednesday.

The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) confirmed the attacks in a statement to CNN.
“CISA is providing support to several federal agencies that have experienced intrusions,” said Eric Goldstein, CISA’s Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity. “We are working urgently to understand impacts and ensure timely remediation.”
The officials have yet to confirm whether the recent string of intrusions is the work of a Russian-speaking ransomware group claiming responsibility for a string of cyberattacks.

During a congressional hearing Wednesday on Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ job performance, Green said more people have entered the U.S. illegally under his roughly two-year tenure “than in the 12 years of the Obama and Trump administrations combined.”
He repeated the largely well-known fact that most migrants coming to the southern U.S. border are there because of hard-to-fix economic problems in their countries, but argued that “they’re coming in record numbers because Mayorkas has left the doors of our country unlocked and wide open.”
“These individuals typically possess no legitimate claim to asylum and under prior administrations – both Democrat and Republican – most would have been quickly deported. The difference now? According to the office of House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), a procedural vote on the measure is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Any Republican who doesn’t vote for the resolution is exposing their real colors as members of the Deep State.
Luna argues that his behavior represents a betrayal of public trust and undermines the integrity of the legislative process.
“Representative Schiff exploited his position on HPSCI (House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence) to promote and excuse abusive intelligence investigations of Americans for political purposes,” Luna declared, making clear her indignation over the actions of her colleague.
“The American taxpayers shelled out $32 million to fund an investigation into collusion launched as a result of Representative Schiff’s lies, misrepresentations, and abuses of sensitive information,” said Luna.
The representative from Florida called for Schiff to be held financially accountable, proposing that Schiff should bear the burden of $16 million, half of the total investigation cost. This suggestion comes following an investigation conducted by the Committee on Ethics, which found that Schiff lied, misrepresented, and misused sensitive information.
On Wednesday, Adam Schiff was not CENSORED or CONDEMNED for his actions in the Russia Hoax. The resolution has failed in the GOP-controlled House.

Many will find this article distressing. It explores the likelihood that the recent deaths of racehorses is due to the wireless technology employed to monitor their performance. Arthur highlights only too clearly the real dangers posed to the health of these sensitive creatures by wireless technology and manmade electromagnetic fields (EMF). He also illustrates the wilful blindness of so many in our society who regard wireless devices, and the radiation they emit, as harmless.
