What Is Crowdstrike, The Cybersecurity Firm Behind A Global Tech Outage?
July 19, 2024 OAN – 7:33 AM PDT – (Reuters) – Companies across several industries including airlines, banking and media were hit on Friday by a global tech outage tied to Microsoft’s (MSFT.O) Azure cloud platform and a software issue at cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike (CRWD.O).
The issue impacted computers running the Windows operating system and CrowdStrike software. CrowdStrike said it was working with impacted customers and had deployed a fix for the issue, which stemmed from an update it issued for Windows users.
Here are a few key details about CrowdStrike:
WHAT IS CrowdStrike?
CrowdStrike offers cloud-based security solutions to businesses. Its Falcon tool – one of the reasons for the outage on Friday – identifies unusual behavior and vulnerabilities to protect computer systems from threats such as malware.
Founded in 2011 and based in Austin, Texas, CrowdStrike operates in more than 170 countries and employed more than 7,900 people as of January.
The U.S. accounted for nearly 70% of the more than $900 million in revenue it reported for the quarter ended April.
WHO ARE CROWDSTRIKE’S MAJOR CLIENTS AND COMPETITORS?
Some of the world’s biggest tech companies including Alphabet’s (GOOGL.O) Google, Amazon (AMZN.O) and Intel (INTC.O) are its customers. It has about 29,000 customers across the globe.
Its presence spans several sectors with clients including retail giant Target (TGT.N), Formula One team Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS and the U.S. government.
CrowdStrike competes with companies such as Palo Alto Networks (PANW.O), Zscaler (ZS.O) and Fortinet (FTNT.O).
CrowdStrike’S STOCK VERSUS PEERS
Shares of CrowdStrike tumbled nearly 12% in premarket trading on Friday. As of Thursday’s close, CrowdStrike had a market value of $83.5 billion, with its stock price up 34% this year, according to LSEG data. In comparison, Palo Alto Networks’ stock has gained about 10% year-to-date, with a market capitalization of $104.87 billion.

Jul. 19, 2024 9:45 am – One of the largest healthcare systems in America has canceled all non-urgent visits, procedures, and surgeries due to a computer outage linked to cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike.
The Gateway Pundit reported earlier that major “IT outages” are being reported across the world, affecting banking systems, health care systems, emergency services, and airlines’ communications.
Mass General Brigham, which serves 2.5 million patients annually across its 15 hospitals and clinics, has suspended all non-urgent visits, procedures, and surgeries.
“We have dedicated every available resource to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our patients,” said a statement released by Mass General Brigham according to the Daily Mail. “It is our highest priority to ensure that our patients receive the safest care possible.”
The healthcare giant reassured the public that they continue to provide care for all patients currently admitted in their hospitals.
A notice released on their website clarified the situation further:
“A major worldwide software outage has affected many of our systems today. This means we are not able to access our clinical systems, including patient health records and scheduling.
As a result, all non-urgent visits at all Mass General Brigham hospitals and clinics are cancelled for today, Friday, July 19, 2024. If you have a non-urgent visit scheduled, a care team member will reach out to you to reschedule.
Please do not call to reschedule today. We are open for urgent appointments and procedures, and our emergency rooms remain open. We are working this to resolve this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

According to the BBC, a police car was flipped, and a bus was set on fire by rioters who took to the streets in response to an incident involving child protection workers removing children from their homes.
Users on the social media platform X have circulated unbelievable footage showing some of the apocalyptic-looking scenes.

Officials have since attempted to downplay the event. Leeds City Council Chief Executive told the BBC that the riots had nothing to do with race and that it was instead caused by a “family incident” that triggered the community.
“As always in Leeds we work with the community, we work with families… We always intervene where we need to where children are at risk. It was an incident that was probably misinterpreted I would say.” Tom Riordan said,
“No one was injured. It was contained. It de-escalated. We’re doing the cleanup. This is not a community where this happens regularly. This is a very diverse community that generally gets on well.” He added.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) sent a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Friday demanding answers on the attempted assassination attack on President Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania last weekend.
Senator Hawley wrote that whistleblowers have notified him that a majority of the security officials working the rally last weekend were not even Secret Service personnel but were with the Homeland Security Investigations team!
They were not even trained Secret Service personnel!
Government officials also treated the attempted assassination as a “loose” security event and that canines were not used at entry points and to detect threats.
It was a setup!

The FAA website currently shows seven airports closed, including LaGuardia International in New York City, Logan International in Boston, and Harry Reid in Las Vegas.
The groundings and closures are expected to last until at least 5am EST and are “Due to Airline Request.”
Microsoft systems are reportedly getting the “Blue Screen of Death” and seem to have occurred after a “faulty update” from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, which is widely used on Microsoft system according to The Verge.

Trump outlined his plans to solve problems with the economy, the invasion at the southern border, and stabilizing the world by ending international conflicts.

Former President Donald Trump recounted the assassination attempt that nearly killed him during his Republican National Convention acceptance speech in Milwaukee on Thursday night.
“I’m not supposed to be here tonight,” said a somber Trump, with a bandage covering his right ear, which was nicked by a bullet. “As you already know, the assassin’s bullet came within a quarter of an inch of taking my life.”
“I stand before you by the grace of almighty God,” Trump said before approaching and kissing the fire chief’s helmet of Corey Comperatore, who was killed in the shooting by Thomas Crooks in Butler Township, Pennsylvania, during a campaign rally Saturday.
“As Americans, we are bound together by a single fate and a shared destiny. We rise together. Or we fall apart,” said Trump on the eve of the eighth anniversary of his first nomination for the presidency.

Jul. 18, 2024 9:20 pm – Trump’s would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks had two cell phones and used three encrypted accounts overseas to communicate.
The FBI found Crooks’ second cell phone at his home with only 27 contacts, The Daily Mail reported.
Congressman Mike Waltz told Fox News host Jesse Watters that according to an FBI briefing, Crooks had multiple encrypted accounts and said more will come out Monday.
Rep. Waltz said the Trump shooter had the overseas accounts at the same time we heard about the Iranian assassination plot against Trump.
Jesse Watters asked if the two are connected (they aren’t).
The Intel agencies leaked an Iranian assassination plot story to CNN to throw chaos in the camp and distract from Saturday’s Secret Service failures.
Crooks did not work alone.

July 18, 2024 RTM – Joe Biden will end his run for US President in mere days, according to a new report. American journalist Mark Halperin revealed the news after multiple reports revealed that more and more Democrats are urging Biden to get out of the race.
“According to multiple Democratic sources, this is happening all of a sudden. Everyone said it would happen gradually and then all at once, and that’s what’s happening,” Halperin said. “According to my sources, President Biden has agreed to step down as a Democratic nominee. It happens as early as this weekend. His speech has been drafted for him.”
Halperin continued: “He will continue on as president because that is his intention, he also will not uphold endorse Vice President Harris as his successor. They’re hoping that he will endorse an open process in which the convention will be open to Vice President Harris and a few other candidates in Chicago.”
“The belief is that Vice President Harris is already looking at potential running mates to go to Chicago with a full ticket, including one possibility, Andy Beshear, the governor of Kentucky, and perhaps the governor of Pennsylvania, Governor Shapiro.”
He added that other candidates being considered include “Gavin Newsom, governor of California” and “perhaps Gretchen Whitmer.”
This comes shortly after a report from The Washington Post said that Barack Obama was telling allies that Biden’s path to victory may be null and that he needs to seriously ponder whether he should still run.

TRUMP ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT: Federal Snipers Overlooked Rooftop Sniper from 40 FEET AWAY could have just WALKED OVER TO STOP HIM By Benjamin Wetmore
Jul. 18, 2024 1:20 pm – Eyewitnesses from the ground who saw the shooter on the roof at the Butler Trump rally describe seeing snipers in the second story building of the AGR Building in Butler Township, Pennsylvania.
Speaking yesterday exclusively to the Gateway Pundit, the eyewitnesses said there is a lot more to the story that is not being reported by the mainstream media.
Though they could not get a clear look at them, they describe seeing one sniper in particular with a sleeve tattoo. The building staff had been chasing off Trump supporters earlier that day, people who wanted to walk up on the property to the security fence to get a better shot of America’s President. Later, when the group tried again the security was nowhere to be found so they went onto the field.
While there, they witnessed a man crawling on the roof and for what ABC admits is at least twenty minutes, and witnesses say was at least thirty minutes, trying to warn security as to what was going on, but there were no police and no security on this entire side of the Trump rally.
But they did notice some kind of security team inside the building on the second floor.
The windows for the second story were open so that the team of snipers inside had a clear view of the Trump Rally field.
What one cannot tell from that picture is that, on the other side, there are two windows that almost perfectly overlook the location where federal authorities claim the body of Thomas Crooks was found.
It doesn’t explain how these trained snipers did not notice Crooks on the roof when there are multiple windows that would have made it obvious where he was.
The alleged sniper was crawling around on the roof for a half hour as people were screaming that there was a sniper on the roof. The sniper team inside the building on the second floor, had to have heard their screams and their pleas. During this time they did nothing to stop the sniper on the roof who was just forty feet away from multiple windows where they would have seen him.
The federal narrative around the Butler, PA Trump Rally shooting has been falling apart hour-by-hour since Saturday.

WEDNESDAY, JUL 17, 2024 – 04:55 PM Modernity.news – CNN’s John King highlighted Tuesday how Donald Trump is on course for a historic landslide victory in November, and could get as many as 330 electoral votes (only 270 are needed to win).
“If Donald Trump won, what we have here, dark red states, solid Republican. Light red states, leaning Republican. If he won just those right there, he would already have the path to 270. He would have 272 electoral votes,” King explained.
He continued, “Look what is different. We have Wisconsin as a toss-up. We have Pennsylvania as a toss-up. Two critical states for Joe Biden. Michigan right now, another critical state for Biden, leaning Republican. Georgia, a state Biden flipped, leaning Republican. Arizona, a toss-up state. That was a state Biden flipped. King went on to explain how Trump is winning in so many States and districts and is competitive in areas that are traditionally Democratic.
“So, the warnings to the White House are Donald Trump could conceivably, if the current dynamics in the race hold, get 330 or more electoral votes. That’s what they believe,” King explained.
“It’s a very narrow path for Joe Biden. He … has essentially one, maybe two narrow paths to 270,” King highlighted, urging that “Donald Trump has so many. There are viable paths to get him as high as 330, which means you can take some states away, Jake, and he would still get to 270.”
“Donald Trump, on the first night of his convention, and Democratic people who are studying the data closely say it keeps getting worse for the president. Donald Trump opened his convention tonight in a commanding position in this race, period,” the analyst concluded.

Jul. 18, 2024 12:40 pm – Austin Private Wealth, LLC, a Texas-based financial planning company, is being scrutinized after a social media post went viral that claimed they had put options on as many as 12 million shares of DJT shares just one day before the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
The investment firm denied the allegations and has now blamed a filing error for this controversial action.
According to CA Club India:
A Put Option is an investment made by someone who expects a company’s Stock Price to fall. People who engage in Inside Trading buy Put Options can make 5X or, sometimes even 100X profits (depends on how quickly the stock plummets).
If Trump did die in the assassination attempt, his company would have become worthless. Its stock would have become Zero in a day. The people who bought Put Options would have made billions in profits.
According to the viral post, Austin Private Wealth’s alleged put position on July 12 was the largest among those listed—the second-biggest was Citadel’s 1.677 million short in May.
The filing date is July 12th, the day before the assassination attempt. With reportedly around $1 billion in assets under management, this is allegedly by far the largest put placed by the firm, according to Finbold.

The screenshot on the left shows the Put by Austin Private Wealth LLC, that was taken earlier this morning. It shows the 120,000 puts. As you can see their position is by far the largest, the next closest is Citadel Advisors with 16,770.
Here is where it gets interesting, the screenshot to the right was taken later in the day and poof, Austin Private Wealth LLC is nowhere to be found. Why?

Jul. 18, 2024 7:45 am – Dr. Mollie James is an Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room trauma surgeon who practices in multiple states. She has extensive experience in dealing with the aftermath of gunshots and treating gunshot victims.
Dr. James says the few pictures that have emerged from the rally scene don’t make sense.
“There should be a lot of blood, and there aren’t, in these pictures,” said Dr. James.
Dr. James says that the pictures of what federal authorities claim is the body of Thomas Crooks on top of the American Glass Research building in Butler, Pennsylvania, from where Crooks is alleged to have taken shots at President Trump, is missing a large bloodspray behind the body that would be typical.
“There should be a considerable amount of blood. It depends on the exact trajectory through the head and also a few other factors, but behind the body should be a significant amount of blood, brain, hair, skull fragments, and even vertebrae,” Dr. James said.
In comparing the picture from a drone of the whole roof with the picture provided by federal authorities of the body up close, Dr. James notices several irregularities in how the blood has dried on the face.
“Blood follows gravity, so if the entry point is behind the head, it won’t be going against gravity.”
“It looks to me as though the body has been moved.”

Other drone footage of what federal authorities claims is Thomas Crooks on the roof of the AGR building in Butler, Pennsylvania reveal some small amount of what looks like blood, but not the significant sum that Dr. James claims should be present.
Butler Township Town Manager Speaks Out on Police Broadcasting Warning on “Blanket Tactical Channel” About Would-Be Trump Assassin on Roof of AGR Building By Kristinn Taylor
Jul. 17, 2024 5:40 pm – Butler Township Town Manager Tom Knights spoke to the media and issued a statement Wednesday afternoon on the contact one of their police officers had with Thomas Crooks, the would-be assassin of President Trump on Saturday, saying the officers involved had radioed a warning on a “blanket tactical channel” about the gunman.
Knight’s statement explained that the only role assigned to local police that day was for traffic control for the arrival and departure of Trump’s motorcade at his rally being held at the Butler Farm Show venue.
Several officers broke away from the post after Trump’s arrival around 6 p.m. to respond to a report of a suspicious man at the AGR building near the rally site. The officers did not find a ladder in a perimeter search nor see the suspect until one officer was hoisted up by the other so he could grab hold of the edge of the roof and peer over. Crooks pointed his rifle at the officer, who dropped back as he was unable to defend himself. Upon hitting the ground from the eight foot drop, both officers radioed in there was a gunman on the roof. An undefined “moments later”, Crooks started firing at Trump, wounding his right ear but killing one attendee and wounding two others near the stage.
Apparently no call went out in response to get Trump off the stage as Secret Service agents did not act to protect Trump until shots rang out and he fell to the stage after being hit and nearly killed by a headshot that miraculously only hit his ear.

Jul. 17, 2024 7:00 – At least two Republican senators are demanding Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resign following Wednesday’s briefing on the assassination attempt on President Trump where it was revealed the Secret Service was aware of a threat ten minutes before a would=be assassin fired at Trump’s head, yet Trump was allowed to go on stage at Saturday’s rally in Butler, PA. Trump was miraculously only hit in his ear. However, one supporter was killed and two wounded in the attack on Trump by 20-year-old Thomas Crooks. (UPDATE at end: ABC reports Secret Service snipers saw Crooks on the roof twenty minutes before the shooting.)
Cheatle admitted to senators there were “mistakes and gaps” in the Secret Service protection of the Trump rally, reported Juliegrace Brufke of Axios, “the Secret Service is responsible for a no fail mission. This assassination attempt was a failure. I acknowledge that there were mistakes and gaps.”
Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) told Hasnie Crooks was IDed as suspicious over an hour before the shooting, “He was identified as a as a character of suspicion, because of saw a rangefinder as well as a backpack. And this was over an hour before the shooting actually occurred.”

Jul. 17, 2024 3:40 pm – Police found a cell phone and a bomb detonator next to Thomas Matthew Crooks’ after a Secret Service sniper fatally shot him on a rooftop outside of Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania rally.
“Channel 11′s Nicole Ford also obtained exclusive photos showing the cell phone and transmitter device found next to Crooks moments after a Secret Service sniper shot and killed him.” WPXI reported.
It was previously reported by The Wall Street Journal and CNN that Crooks had explosives in his Hyundai Sonata which was parked next to the rally.
Details about the explosives are not known.
However, according to CNN, investigators found no online search history of Crooks researching how to assemble homemade explosives.
“It’s unclear how Crooks assembled the explosive devices found in his car. Investigators parsing through his online search history haven’t found any indication of him researching how to make home-made explosives, law enforcement officials said.” – CNN reported.
The so-called ‘security lapses’ and circumstances surrounding the assassination attempt against Trump raise questions about how Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to pull everything off by himself.
Crooks reportedly purchased a 5-foot ladder from Home Depot the morning of the assassination attempt.
How did he know he needed a ladder to access a rooftop with a clear line to President Trump? It is unclear if Crooks used the newly-purchased ladder because the one photographed is larger than the one he bought from Home Depot.

TRUMP ASSASSINATION: Crooks’ Impossible Path to the Roof at Butler, PA Rally (Analysis) By Benjamin Wetmore
Jul. 17, 2024 12:00 pm – In the aftermath of the attempted assassination of President Trump, federal law enforcement can’t figure out a motive for the shooter, and they can’t get into all the details of his phone, but they’re 100% sure that he acted alone.
What does not make sense is how a 20-year-old nursing home food attendant managed to find one spot with a direct line of sight to President Trump and how Thomas Crooks managed to know of all the ongoing security lapses and failures that day, including the reassignment of the Secret Service to Jill Biden, who had a function in Pittsburgh the same day.
Another part of the story that makes no sense is that 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, who lived an hour away before he went to the rally, knew that he would need a ladder in order to scale the walls and take a shot at President Trump. According to federal authorities, Crooks stopped at Home Depot on his way to the rally in his hometown of Bethel Park and bought a 5-foot ladder.
Initially, the pictures leaking out from the rally’s aftermath showed a ladder that was in place near where Crooks’ body was found, on top of the American Glass Research manufacturing company warehouse near the Butler Farm Show Airport.
But pictured above is a ten-foot ladder, and one that large would not fit in Crooks’ car, so there would be no way for him to get it from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, to Butler, Pennsylvania.
It also makes no sense how Crooks would have been able to do enough advance research and investigation beforehand to know the security protocols of the Trump rally, and know the details of which building to get on top of, to take sniper shots at Trump.
Here’s the exact quote from USA Today on this point: “Hours before the shooting, Crooks stopped at a Home Depot in his hometown of Bethel Park and purchased a ladder, CNN and NBC reported, citing unnamed law enforcement officials.”
Here is CNN describing the ladder purchase and sourcing it to unnamed law enforcement officials, “On Friday, he went to a shooting range where he was a member, and practiced firing, a law enforcement official told CNN. The next morning, Crooks went to a Home Depot, where he bought a five-foot ladder, and a gun store, where he purchased 50 rounds of ammunition, the official said.”
Bethel Park is 45 miles, and 60 minutes, south of Butler, Pennsylvania. Bethel Park only has one Home Depot location, at 4000 Oxford Dr, Bethel Park, PA 15102.

DEVELOPING: Crooks’ Parents Called Police About their Son Hours Before Attempted Assassination Against Trump By Cristina Laila

According to a new report by Fox News, Matthew Thomas Crooks’ parents called law enforcement to report concerns about their son in the hours leading up to the attempted assassination of President Trump.
Details of the phone call are not known.
NBC News previously reported that Crooks’ father called the police after the attempted assassination to report that his son and one of his rifles were missing.
It was reported that Crooks’ father had more than a dozen firearms in the home.

Law enforcement on the ground was also alerted to Crooks after he climbed on the roof.
According to NBC News, the Secret Service identified the rooftop next to Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania event as a security vulnerability days before the rally.
The agents failed to secure the building so a man with a rifle was able to climb up to the roof, position his scope, and fire several shots at President Trump from an elevated position.
In a video posted to X the would-be Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks was seen bear crawling on the roof as bystanders pointed him out to law enforcement.
An officer was right next to the building as bystanders alerted him to the potential threat.

One Trump rallygoer told CBS News, “I was just standing there like everyone else, just waiting for Trump. And as Trump started, I noticed two officers looking for something or somebody.”
The witness added, “So I was looking around myself and seen a guy on top of one of the buildings go in between one building to the next and went and told the officer he was up there.”
Another witness who spoke to BBC News said the gunman was ‘bear crawling’ up the roof of the unsecured building. The witness said he was pointing at the gunman for two to three minutes and trying to alert police to the potential threat.

Navarro is traveling to the RNC convention in Milwaukee.
In March Peter Navarro reported to prison for his 4-month sentence. He was the first high-ranking Trump aide to be imprisoned by the Biden Regime.
A federal appeals court previously denied Navarro’s request to remain out of jail.
The three-judge panel – all Obama appointees – included Judges Patricia Millett, Cornelia Pillard and Robert Wilkins.
“[T]he argument presupposes that privilege has actually been invoked in this case in some manner by the President,” the judges wrote in a two-page order, according to Politico. “That did not happen here.”
Last September former Trump advisor Dr. Peter Navarro, 74, was convicted of criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena in Liz Cheney’s January 6 investigation.
Navarro did not comply with the subpoena because he said Trump told him to assert executive privilege.
Biden’s DOJ has abused Dr. Navarro throughout the entire process.
According to Navarro, the feds put him in leg irons and threw him in a cell last year.
CNN’s John King Warns Democrats Trump is on Track for Historic Landslide Victory (VIDEO) By Mike Lachance
Jul. 16, 2024 11:10 pm – CNN’s John King delivered some very bad news for Democrats this week, suggesting that Trump is headed for a landslide victory in November.
Using a projection map of the country and narrowing down the Electoral College votes, King pointed out that according to CNN’s current projections, Trump could win well over 300 votes.
He correctly suggested that Trump could flip Democrat strongholds like Virginia and New Mexico.

Law Professor Jonathan Turley Says Senator Bob Menendez Faces a ‘Crushing’ Prison Sentence, Will Likely Die in Prison By Ben Kew
Jul. 16, 2024 5:20 pm – The renowned law professor Jonathan Turley has said that New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez is likely to spend the rest of his life in prison.
On Tuesday, Menendez was convicted of all counts at his corruption trial, where he denied charges that he had accepted bribes of gold and cash from three New Jersey businessmen and worked as a foreign agent on behalf of Egypt.
Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, is now predicting that Menendez will face a “crushing” prison sentence that he may not even survive.
He wrote on the X platform:
The conviction of Sen. Menendez in Washington is monumental. He was one of the untouchables. Despite long being viewed as corrupt, Menendez wielded power with abandon for his own benefit.
The problem was the defense theory. Menendez tried to convince the jury that this was a “Cuban thing.” They clearly viewed it as a “corruption thing.”
The images of gold bars and cash stuffed in clothes is difficult to overcome with a cultural claim. Yet, this conviction is an indictment of the Washington establishment. Menendez was always viewed as a corrupt figure but he was still given powerful positions that he used for corrupt purposes.
Sentencing is likely to be crushing. He will face an aggravator as someone who betrayed an office of public trust. He has little to offer in terms of mitigators. While the counts will run concurrently, he is facing at a long likely sentence. At his age, a long term could be a terminal sentence.
Despite being convicted on all charges, Menendez has so far refused to resign from the Senate and has even registered as an independent candidate in November’s election.
Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has called on him to resign with immediate effect. “In light of this guilty verdict, Senator Menendez must now do what is right for his constituents, the Senate, and our country, and resign,” he wrote on the X platform.

“The border patrol saved my life,” he said. “If I hadn’t pointed at that chart and turned my head to look at it, that bullet would have hit me right in the head.”

Brian Steel, president of the Fraternal Order of Police Capitol City Lodge No. 9, confirmed the involvement of Columbus police in the Milwaukee shooting.
The incident occurred approximately 1.2 miles from Fiserv Forum, the primary venue for the RNC, at the intersection of 14th and Vliet Streets.

According to the report, Secret Service ramped up security after receiving intel about the assassination plot.
Saturday’s would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks had no connection to the Iranian assassination plot, according to CNN.
“Secret Service learned of the increased threat from this threat stream,” the official told CNN. “NSC directly contacted USSS at a senior level to be absolutely sure they continued to track the latest reporting. USSS shared this information with the detail lead, and the Trump campaign was made aware of an evolving threat. In response to the increased threat, Secret Service surged resources and assets for the protection of former President Trump. All of this was in advance of Saturday.”
The Trump campaign refused to comment on the threat.
“We do not comment on President Trump’s security detail. All questions should be directed to The United States Secret Service,” the Trump camp told CNN.

WTH?? Secret Service Now Saying They Didn’t Put Any Agents on the Roof Because Slight Slope Was Too Dangerous By Patty Mcmurray
Jul. 16, 2024 12:30 pm – Witnesses who saw the alleged shooter climb on top of the roof with a rifle across from the podium where President Trump was speaking to a crowd of over 15,000 supporters begged law enforcement for action. Multiple individuals gave eyewitness accounts of how they alerted law enforcement to the serious issue.
The Gateway Pundit reported on a report from CNN that cited law enforcement officials, who said Crooks bought the ladder from Home Depot on the day he tried to assassinate Trump from the roof of a nearby building.
If this report is accurate and to be believed, Crooks may have made it past law enforcement and the Secret Service carrying a very tall ladder and used it to climb the building unnoticed.

So many questions have been asked by everyday Americans and Republican members of Congress about how the Secret Service dropped the ball and allowed a 20-yr-old man to scale a building with a rifle less than 150 yards from a former President of the United States and a frontrunner in the 2024 presidential race.
Many are calling for the US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to step down from her post. A defiant Cheatle admitted her mistakes, mistakes that could have caused the cold-blooded murder of America’s most popular and beloved figure if not for what many believe was divine intervention when he turned his head at the split second the bullet meant for his head sped by and ripped through his upper ear.
The Daily Mail is now reporting that USSS Director Cheatle has given a baffling explanation for why there wasn’t a presence on the roof with a clear line of sight to Trump.
Cheatle said, “That building, in particular, has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there’s a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn’t want to put somebody up on a sloped roof. And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.”
Compare the slope of the roof where US Secret Service snipers were positioned compared to the roof where the alleged shooter was perched for over a half hour.
The new details also reveal that a team of local police snipers were inside the building when the 20-year-old Crooks opened fire, shot Trump in the ear, and killed a member of the rally crowd.
Crooks managed to evade cops and the Secret Service three times, even though he had been deemed ‘suspicious’ and could have been on the roof for up to 30 minutes before he pulled the trigger.
Had President Trump not turned his head, he would have been killed.
The actions of the Secret Service and local police cannot and should not be excused. And if Secret agents are truly trained to take a bullet for the President, I’m pretty sure they can find a way to station themselves on a slightly slanted roof!

Is FBI Already Stonewalling on the Investigation into the Assassination Attempt? by Joe Hoft
Jul. 16, 2024 11:30 am AbleChild – According to President Biden the FBI has been leading the investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. While law enforcement has identified the shooter as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, several key questions remain unanswered regarding the FBI’s response to the crime scene.
The lack of transparency during prior FBI investigations has raised concerns among the public and media about the FBI’s ability to this time conduct a thorough and responsible investigation, especially in light the “lawfare” that has been used against the former President. The shooting is being treated as an “attempted assassination” and act of domestic terrorism and the Director of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, is scheduled to testify before a House Oversight Committee on July 22nd. The purpose of the hearing is to provide insight into how the twenty-year old was able to commit the assassination attempt, resulting in the former President being wounded, a fellow American dead and two others seriously injured.
This attack was deadly serious, and the information needed to satisfy the American public that this attack was, in fact, a random lone gunman, must be convincing. Afterall, there already are numerous videos on social media that show the public alerting law enforcement of the assassin’s position on the roof of the building prior to any shooting. These videos also show snipers zeroed in on the assassin long before the shooting occurred, yet the snipers waited…hesitated until the assassin’s shots were fired. Why? This is just one question in a long list that needs to be answered.
The public will also want to know exactly how the FBI conducted the identification of the assassin. According to news reports, the FBI identified Crooks through a face recognition process, however, no details have been provided as to how that process works, how the match was made and what database was utilized? Early reports indicated a DNA identification process was utilized, but the exact details of this process have not been disclosed. It is unclear whether the DNA was matched from existing records or if it was obtained from evidence found at the scene. Given the fact that law enforcement announced that Crooks had no criminal record, it is curious what database was used to make an identification. The FBI has not provided information on how they linked the DNA to Crooks, which already has raised questions about the thoroughness of its investigation.
Furthermore, the disposition of the assassin’s body is critical for chain of custody purposes. There are no reports as to the disposition of the assassin’s body – who has custody and where was it taken for further examination? It seems odd that in all of the footage of the shooting incident and aftermath, that there are no photos of ambulances or FBI agents on the scene. Were photographers at the scene disinterested in the aftermath of the shooting, which surely would have required medical assistance?
It has been two days since the assassination attempt and there is no discussion about the of chain of custody of the assassin’s body by the authorities. Simple information such as whether an autopsy has been performed or if any further forensic analysis is being conducted on the body would be helpful. Already the lack of transparency from the FBI prevents the public from understanding the full scope of its investigation and waiting months or years for results and the FBI slow-leaking information to grab political headlines doesn’t work anymore. Plus, it sure doesn’t have to be mentioned this was a political rival of the Administration in power who was targeted by the assassin. All the world will be watching to see whether the “lawfare” will continue and the Justice Department will drop the investigative ball. Jeesh! One can only pray that the FBI’s investigation will be better than the protection provided by the Secret Service.

Published July 11, 2024, 6:38 p.m. ET – As of June 26, Department of Homeland Security identified 400 migrants who have been smuggled into the United States via networks affiliated with the Islamic terror group ISIS.
The government department admitted the whereabouts of 50 of those people was still unknown. As of June 20 this year a further 90 suspected terrorists were encountered and stopped at the Southern Border.
Those fiendish undesirables are not alone. As a map assembled by The Post shows, from one end of the United States to the other, intelligence failures between government departments have allowed potential terrorists over the border.
Once their terror ties are realized, the FBI and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement then have to locate the individuals — sometimes years after they were admitted.
Although the DHS tries to keep most of these situations under wraps, The Post has identified cases involving 16 individuals from California to North Carolina who were hiding in plain sight, often blending in among the millions of migrants who have crossed into the US in recent years.
“If I am in law enforcement, I am looking at this and saying there are way too many numbers for it to be a one-off,” Seamus Hughes, terrorism expert at University of Nebraska Omaha, told The Post, while speaking of breaches at the Southern Border.
“Alarm bells are ringing and it is a significant concern for law enforcement.”

Lori Levi has attended every Trump rally selling merchandise except for 10, and noticed major security lapses in the set up and layout of the Trump rally by event organizers.
“I had a terrible feeling. I knew something was wrong. I kept waiting for them to fix the basic security problems, since there was a direct ‘line-of-sight’ to President Trump.”
The FBI and federal authorities have assumed total control over local law enforcement to respond to media inquiries. In an email, the City of Butler police told the Gateway Pundit, “The FBI has assumed the role of the lead federal law enforcement agency in the investigation. The FBI is now issuing all press related material.”
The corrupt FBI has been caught fabricating evidence used against Trump in the Russian collusion hoax case. The FBI was caught by Congress lying to hurt Trump. The FBI has been busy persecuting the January 6th protesters with imaginary criminal offenses. The corrupt FBI has worked to take out Trump by any means necessary.
Even the High School Crooks graduated from is now directing people to the FBI instead of making any additional comments.
Levi, a long-time rally attendee who attends every Trump rally as a vendor selling Trump-related merchandise, tells the Gateway Pundit: “I knew something was wrong the day before when I came to set up in Butler, Pennsylvania.
They weren’t blocking the line of sight like they have in every other location. Typically they would put cranes, or heavy machinery, in the way to block a clear line-of-sight to Trump as a security protocol. I kept thinking that his security detail was going to bring it in later, but they never did.”

“When we came in on Friday, after attending hundreds of Trump rallies, we noticed the situation did not look right. They can’t protect him from here. I just had this terrible feeling. I knew something was off.”
Levi makes clear that at every other Trump rally, the Secret Service made sure that there was no easy long-distance ‘line of sight’ to the President.
Levi says that the security protocol is to create a “layered” barrier to create a ‘line of sight’ protection for President Trump from sniper and would-be assassins.
This protocol was not in place at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, says Levi.
“I assumed they would bring in dump trucks, semi trucks, cranes, to block the line of sight, but they didn’t.”
“I do not believe that some 20 year old kid could have pulled this off,” said Levi. “The Secret Service does not make these kind of mistakes. I don’t believe this story. I think they let him get the shot off first.” [Emphasis added
Levi also notes that the security perimeter to protect the typical Donald Trump rally is usually much farther out than it was in Butler, Pennsylvania at the Butler Farm Show Airport.
Other attendees tell the Gateway Pundit that the security problems extend not just to letting a Presidential assassin climb the most obvious building with a direct line-of-sight to the President, but they include a wide variety of other security failures that have as yet gone unreported by the mainstream media.
There were multiple security failures in Butler, Pennsylvania by the President’s official security detail.
Eyewitnesses also relate that the FBI has been vacuuming up photos and video from the event from attendees, and if past procedure is any indication, they will classify and seal all such material as the product of an ‘ongoing law enforcement investigation’ indefinitely.
The evidence and proof of the Trump assassination attempt is being buried right now. Federal law enforcement is starting to blame local law enforcement for the failure, claiming that they were in charge of providing security on the outer perimeter of the rally.

Update (1420ET): Former Navy Seal and Blackwater founder Erik Prince gave a detailed assessment of yesterday’s Secret Service debacle in the wake of a failed assassination attempt on former President Trump.
“Hopefully after the tragedy yesterday in Butler PA we can all recognize that unaccountable bloated bureaucracies continue to fail us as Americans,” Prince posted to X.

As the graphics show the full value wind of just 5mph was enough to displace the unconfirmed but likely light 55 grain bullet two inches from DJT’s intended forehead to his ear.
DJT was not saved by USSS brilliance. The fact that USSS allowed a rifle armed shooter within 150yds to a preplanned event is either malice or massive incompetence. Clearly there was adequate uncontrolled dead space for a shooter to move into position and take multiple aimed shots. Watching the newsreel one can hear how proximate the shooter is by the very short time lapse between the crack of arriving bullet (supersonic) to the boom of muzzle blast (sonic).
The law enforcement sniper (unclear if USSS) in newsreels was clearly overwhelmed as his face came off his rifle instead of doing his job to kill the shooter. Clearly they were watching the shooter but apparently have a no “first shot” policy. The only positive action was an apparent 488yd shot by one USSS sniper which despatched the assassin but after the assassin launched at least 5 rounds, wounding DJT and killing and severely others in the crowd.
In my old business of providing Diplomatic Security in two active war zones we were expected to execute the basics or we would be fired. Clearly USSS failed at the basics of a secure perimeter and once shots were fired their extraction was clumsy and left DJT highly exposed to follow on attacks. It looked like they had never drilled together because those responses should be effectively autonomic. Will there be accountability? That’s not the Washington way.
Unserious and unworthy people in positions of authority got us to this near disaster. Merit and execution must be the only deciding factors in hiring and leadership, not the social engineering priority of the day. Sadly nothing in Washington reflects that any longer. DJT is right to question the competence of those protecting him because yesterday they failed in almost every way. Nature abhors a vacuum and there are always other options.
Most importantly, as Americans let’s come together and run a proper valid election so we can get back to what matters a merit based society that judges on character and skill. Nothing else.

The state of our current voting infrastructure is not just a concern; it’s a crisis that even the most Leftist organizations agree on. If all voting equipment had to be replaced tomorrow, estimates suggest a staggering cost between $1 billion and $3 billion. With these systems having a maximum shelf life of ten years, the annualized costs of renewing voting equipment would range from $100 million to $300 million.
However, cybersecurity experts have warned that these systems are obsolete within as little as 2-4 years due to insufficient security patch capabilities. In reality, most electronic voting systems should have been retired and recycled many election cycles ago.
Even more alarming, cybersecurity experts have proven that any electronic device, regardless of its location or network connection, is vulnerable to remote access. A device plugged into a wall can be hacked through the copper wire. This means that any foreign or domestic bad actor can manipulate an election from the comfort of their car in the parking lot near a polling station. The origin of the equipment and parts, whether made in the USA or not, is irrelevant in the face of such vulnerabilities!
The financial implications of this reality are staggering. Investing billions into equipment that rapidly becomes outdated and insecure is not only imprudent but also a grave betrayal of taxpayer trust. Yet, there is a compelling alternative: conventional hand-count elections, which have proven to be both cost-effective and secure.
Consider the United Kingdom, where the cost to count each ballot by hand is the equivalent of just 13 cents, even with the added complexity of Rank Choice Voting ballots. In the United States, this cost could be halved due to our simpler ballot structure. With 154.6 million ballots cast in the 2020 federal election, the total cost of hand-counting those ballots would have been approximately $20 million. This figure not only pales in comparison to the exorbitant $1-3 billion needed for new electronic equipment and the additional $100-300 million for annual maintenance and updates, but it also presents a promising opportunity for significant cost savings.
Hand counting is not just a financial bargain; it is a crucial step towards restoring public confidence in our electoral process. In the UK, strict chain of custody rules and rigorous auditing ensure that every ballot is accounted for. Results are typically announced within 24 hours, demonstrating that efficiency need not be sacrificed for security. This level of security and efficiency is what our electoral process needs to regain the trust of the public.
Over 24 nations conduct hand-count elections globally, including larger countries such as Argentina, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. These countries have recognized that conventional paper ballots and hand counts are the only surefire ways to protect against the cybersecurity threats inherent in electronic voting systems.

July 16, 2024 – In case you hadn’t noticed, there’s a lot going on. On The Front Page today, we bring you reporting, analysis, and commentary on the ongoing fallout of Trump’s brush with death; another prime time Biden interview; the dismissal of the Trump classified documents case; and much more.
But first: the Hillbilly running mate.
Donald Trump’s selection of J.D. Vance as his running mate is remarkable in more ways than one. There is Vance’s journey from the broken home in a poor, rural Ohio he wrote about in Hillbilly Elegy, to the Marines, to Ohio State, then to Yale Law School and to the Senate, and now a presidential ticket. Also remarkable is his transformation from a prominent “Never Trumper”—who once called his now–running mate “America’s Hitler” and an “opioid for the masses”—to an enthusiastic Trumpist in the vanguard of the New Right.
For some, Vance’s journey is simple enough to explain: it’s the story of a smart and ambitious “sellout” and an “angry jerk,” as one of his (ex-) friends from law school put it on X yesterday. To this crowd, Vance is only the most extreme example of a familiar story of Republicans kowtowing to the man who took over their party.
But Vance is a much more complicated—and interesting—figure than that.
Agree with him or not, he has undergone a sincere ideological conversion since 2016. That much was obvious to me when I followed him on the campaign trail in 2022. And it’s obvious from any speech or interview he gives. He is not someone who just parrots his party’s talking points. (He has also undergone an actual conversion: I recommend Rod Dreher’s interview with him on the day he was baptized and received into the Catholic Church in 2019.)
In the Senate, he hasn’t just voted with the GOP herd but teamed up with Democrats on a range of bills that stake out new ideological territory for Republicans. He makes some of Trump’s donors uncomfortable.
By picking Vance, Trump has made clear his project is about more than personality. The Republican presidential ticket now has a distinct ideological flavor. It has teeth. National Review’s Philip Klein called the pick “another nail in the coffin of Reagan Republicanism.” (This is not a compliment at that magazine.) Vance is a prominent critic of U.S. involvement in Ukraine (for more on his foreign policy views, I recommend this piece by my colleague Isaac Grafstein).
He’s also economically unorthodox—and more relaxed about government involvement in the economy than many of his colleagues. He has backed a higher minimum wage and praised Lina Khan, Joe Biden’s FTC chair and a proponent of more robust antitrust policies.
Did these ideological considerations clinch it for Vance? I suspect a bigger factor was that in Vance, Trump saw someone who was welcomed into the elite—as Trump never has been—but who turned his back on it.

Iraq Combat Sniper Employment Officer Who Led Hundreds of Combat Missions Highlights “Major Security Lapses” That Allowed Assassin to Shoot Trump (VIDEOS) By Jordan Conradson
Jul. 15, 2024 5:30 pm – An Army veteran highlighted the “gross failures” and “major security lapses” that allowed a would-be assassin to hit President Trump with a bullet on Saturday.
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on the assassination attempt at Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania rally.
The Gateway Pundit reported that an eyewitness told the BBC that several people witnessed the shooter crawling on the roof of a local building with a rifle before Trump was shot, but they did not act until Trump was shot. According to new reports, a police officer encountered the shooter on the roof but let him go after he pointed the gun at him and before he shot Trump.
We further reported that Secret Service agents may have had a clear view of the shooter from their position at a higher elevation than the shooter behind Trump, yet they did not act.
One of the videos below even shows an agent on the roof adjacent to Trump looking down his scope, seemingly with the assassin in his sights, hesitating, then snapping back to his rifle to return fire at roughly the same time as the first shot.
Blake Hall’s X bio describes him as the “Founder & CEO of http://ID.me” and an “Iraq Combat Vet.” In his post, he identifies himself as “the Sniper Employment Officer for my battalion and led hundreds of combat missions.”
If the powers that be or the Deep State did this, don’t think for a second that they won’t steal another election or try again.
I was the Sniper Employment Officer for my battalion and led hundreds of combat missions. There were major security lapses in the security plan that allowed a shooter to engage President Trump from ~130 meters – an easy shot.
How can the dude at a cookout spot the shooter before the detail?!? The far rooftop is an obvious firing position. Local police should have been deployed to secure it. Additionally, drones should have been monitoring.
There is a sniper team scanning the rooftop for threats. But, the team only has long guns. You generally want a security element co-located with assault rifles that can engage much faster – especially within 300 meters. They couldn’t engage fast enough.
And now we are witnessing apparent FBI incompetence or a potential cover-up of the truth and future plans of assassination. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Biden’s FBI has announced that they believe the would-be assassin at former President Trump’s Pennsylvania rally on Saturday acted alone. Thomas Matthew Crooks’ cell phone, which could hold vital clues to understanding the motivations and identifying co-conspirators behind the attack, has been transported to the FBI’s forensic lab in Quantico. However, the bureau has failed to access any data so far.
How does some nerdy 20-year-old with a car full of explosives plan and nearly execute the assassination of a United States President–during a highly secured rally surrounded by Secret Service–without help from the people inside and the Democrats outside?

Veteran Whose Team Holds World Record for Long-Range Sniper Shots Claims Thomas Matthew Crooks May Have Had Inside Help By Jim Hᴏft
Jul. 15, 2024 6:15 pm – Dallas Alexander, a veteran sniper whose team holds the world record for the longest confirmed sniper kill, has suggested that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a rally on Saturday night, may have had inside help.
Alexander, who spent 14 years in a sniper team for the Canadian military providing close protection for major world leaders including the Canadian Prime Minister, shared his views in an Instagram post.
“I’m a retired sniper so because I’ve been asked so many times here’s my opinion on the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump,” he began, before delving into his analysis of the assassination attempt.
Having served in a tier one special operations unit called JTF2, Alexander is no stranger to high-stakes security scenarios. His experience includes providing security for VIPs in dangerous countries like Iraq and Afghanistan.
“I spent just about 17 years in the military, 14 of which, just about 14 of which we’re at a tier one special operations unit called JTF2. Our sniper team has the world record for the longest confirmed sniper kill. A huge part of our job while I was there and while I was a sniper was doing close protection for VIPs up to and including the Prime Minister, when he would go to dangerous countries like Iraq or Afghanistan, we would be in charge of that security,” said Alexander.
This background gives him unique insights into the layout and security measures typically involved in protecting high-profile individuals such as former President Trump.
Alexander expressed his belief that the shooter must have had assistance from within an agency, organization, or even the government. He argued that it would be impossible for someone to get onto a rooftop with a gun during broad daylight while a president was speaking without assistance.
“I’m very familiar with the layout of these types of things and what the jobs should be. And yesterday, what happened, I have no doubt in my mind that the shooter had help from somewhere within an agency, an organization, or the government,” said Alexander.
“The second I saw that aerial photo of what they were saying happened, it immediately made no sense to me. You cannot, in broad daylight, get onto a rooftop within what looked like maybe a couple of hundred yards. You can’t get into that position with a gun when there’s a president speaking. It cannot be done. You don’t even need to be a sniper to know that it’s the most f—king obvious thing, the most obvious place in the whole world.”

New Information About Attempted Trump Assassin Revealed: Rejected From High School Rifle Team For Being ‘Comically Bad Shot by John Symank
July 14, 2024 – Thomas Matthew Crooks, the would-be assassin of former President Donald Trump, was rejected from his high school rifle team for being a “comically bad shot” and making “off-color” jokes.
20-year-old Crooks opened fire on Trump, killing one rally attendee and critically injuring two others, but only grazed the former president in the ear before being shot dead by Secret Service snipers.
On Sunday, the New York Post reported on an interview with two of Crooks’ former classmates from Bethel Park High School, who detailed his life several years prior, and revealed that he had tried out for the school’s rifle team.
Jameson Murphy, as well as another unnamed student, told the Post that the team shoots Anschutz single-shot rifles with peep sights and .22-caliber ammunition and that the school’s shooting range is 50 feet long by 21 feet wide, with seven ranges.

Murphy said that Crooks had attempted to try out for the team, shooting from the seventh lane, the closest lane to the right wall, and striking the left wall of the range, missing his target by nearly 20 feet.
“He tried out…and was such a comically bad shot he was unable to make the team and left after the first day,” Murphy said, while the second classmate noted that Crooks ”couldn’t shoot at all. He was a terrible shot.”
“Our old coach was a stickler, he trained Navy marksmen, so he knew people. He knew when someone’s not the greatest person,” Crooks’ unnamed former classmate added. “We noticed a few things Thomas said and how he interacted with other people… He said some things that were kind of concerning.”

“You know, obviously, we’re using guns in a school setting so you need to be very careful in that regard,” one classmate said. “He made some crass jokes that weren’t appropriate when there are firearms in the school setting.”

Biden-Harris 2024 Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon released the statement soon after Trump announced his choice.
The statement began, “Donald Trump picked J.D. Vance as his running mate because Vance will do what Mike Pence wouldn’t on January 6: bend over backwards to enable Trump and his extreme MAGA agenda, even if it means breaking the law and no matter the harm to the American people.”
“As Trump’s running mate, Vance will make it his mission to enact Trump’s Project 2025 agenda at the expense of American families,” the campaign continued. “This is someone who supports banning abortion nationwide while criticizing exceptions for rape and incest survivors; railed against the Affordable Care Act , including its protections for millions with preexisting conditions; and has admitted he wouldn’t have certified the free and fair election in 2020.”
O’Malley Dillon continued, “Billionaires and corporations are literally rooting for J.D. Vance: they know he and Trump will cut their taxes and send prices skyrocketing for everyone else.”
The campaign vowed to spend the next three months contrasting the two campaigns.
“Over the next three and a half months, we will spend every single day making the case between the two starkly contrasting visions Americans will choose between at the ballot box this November: the Biden-Harris ticket who’s focused on uniting the country, creating opportunity for everyone, and lowering costs; or Trump-Vance – whose harmful agenda will take away Americans’ rights, hurt the middle class, and make life more expensive – all while benefiting the ultra-rich and greedy corporations.”
The campaign also pointed out that Vance is pro-life without exceptions, previously saying of abortion in the case of rape or incest that “two wrongs don’t make a right” and calling those circumstances “inconvenient.”
Additionally, they complained that Vance has said he would not have certified the election and endorsed a January 6 defendant’s congressional bid.

Jul. 15, 2024 10:40 am – Judge Aileen Cannon on Monday dismissed Jack Smith’s classified documents case based on unlawful appointment and funding of the special counsel.
Jack Smith indicted Trump on 37 federal counts in Miami in June 2023 for lawfully storing presidential records at his Mar-a-Lago estate which was protected by Secret Service agents.
Trump was charged with 31 counts under the Espionage Act of willful retention of national defense information and 6 other process crimes stemming from his conversations with his lawyer.
Last July Jack Smith hit Trump with 3 additional charges in the investigation into classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago. The superseding indictment, filed in the Southern District of Florida, claims Trump was part of a scheme to delete security footage from Mar-a-Lago.
Judge Cannon dismissed the ENTIRE case: . “The clerk is directed to close this case,” Cannon wrote.
“Upon careful study of the foundational challenges raised in the Motion, the Court is convinced that Special Counsel’s Smith’s prosecution of this action breaches two structural cornerstones of our constitutional scheme—the role of Congress in the appointment of constitutional officers, and the role of Congress in authorizing expenditures by law,” Cannon wrote in her order.
President Trump reacted to Cannon’s decision.

Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the case against Trump, ruling that the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith was unlawful and violated the Constitution.
“The Superseding Indictment is DISMISSED because Special Counsel Smith’s appointment violates the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution.”
The judge also ruled that Congress was required to appoint “constitutional officers” and the legislature was also needed to approve spending for such cases.
“That role cannot be usurped by the executive branch or diffused elsewhere – whether in this case or in another case, whether in times of heightened national need or not,” Cannon wrote.
The former president was accused of hoarding confidential documents at his Mar-a-Lago home after he left office and then attempted to cover it up.
Meanwhile, the ruling comes just days after an attempted assassination against the former president.

July 13, 2024 – Secret Service agents shielded Donald Trump with their own bodies after a shooter opened fire on the former president during a Pennsylvania campaign rally Saturday. But if a group of powerful Democrats had their way, those Secret Service agents wouldn’t have been there on Saturday.
House Committee on Homeland Security ranking member Bennie Thompson (D., Miss.) moved in April to terminate Trump’s Secret Service protection in anticipation of his conviction in his Manhattan hush money case. Thompson and a group of seven other Democrats introduced the DISGRACED Former Protectees Act in April, a law that would terminate Secret Service protection for former presidents convicted and sentenced for a felony.
Trump was originally scheduled to be sentenced in the case on July 11—two days before the Secret Service sprung to action as bullets came inches away from ending the former president’s life at Saturday’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Thompson moved to strip Trump of his Secret Service protection as President Joe Biden has led Democrats in deploying increasingly apocalyptic rhetoric on the campaign trail casting Trump as an existential threat to America who must be stopped.
Biden left little room for the imagination during a June 28 campaign rally. “Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation,” he said. “He is a threat to our freedom. He is a threat to our democracy. He’s literally a threat for everything America stands for.”

It’s early, but what the public knows so far is that several news reports suggest that Thomas Matthew Crooks may have been receiving mental health treatment. Is anyone surprised by this given that the last three mass shooters were under the care of mental health professionals?
Let’s look at a few examples of why it appears that suspected assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was a mental health patient. According to news reports Crooks had a mental meltdown on a college campus. The video allegedly depicts Crooks verbally abusing Trump supporters at a campaign table on a campus. Crooks further allegedly appears to be screaming vile remarks at the workers at the campaign table such as “slash his throat, every f*%kin Republican, slash Republicans throats.”
Furthermore, according to another news report Crooks was living with his grandparents before he was kicked out for using drugs. CNN reports that the alleged assassin’s father Matthew said, he was trying to figure out “what the hell is going on” but would “wait until I talk to law enforcement” before speaking about his son. Ironically, the suspected assassin’s father is an “expert” in the field of mental health working as a Care Manager at Community Care Behavioral Health in Bethel Park, PA., and also is the sole proprietor of a private counseling practice.
Community Care Behavioral Health is primarily financed through the Health Choices program, Pennsylvania’s Medicaid managed care program for behavioral health services. Its estimated revenue in 2022 is nearly $149 million. The suspected assassin’s father’s responsibilities as a care manager would include assessing patient needs, developing personalized care plans, and monitoring medication compliance, and treatment outcomes and his specialties included crisis intervention, identifying, and addressing potential health risks and crises. Yep, it’s clearly possible that dad, and the FBI, missed some vital signs as it concerned the suspected assassin. According to other unconfirmed news reports Thomas Crooks “came up in several intelligent reports lately.” ANTIFA, along with several other left-wing groups, are mentioned. Obviously, it is too early to know for sure what the truth is about Thomas Matthew Crooks, but everything about this would-be assassin must be released, including and especially his mental health and psychiatric drug history.
Too often, the FBI’s work on mass shootings has hindered, rather than helped, the public’s ability to understand the killers’ motives, to find out why the killer snapped. Unfortunately, official investigations become political, withholding personal documents that may provide insight into the shooters’ motives. School shooters Audrey Hale and Nikolas Cruz, and Lewiston, Maine killer Robert Card are perfect examples of officialdom’s efforts to withhold from the public mental health and psychiatric drug use. There are too many years of commissions and useless reports. Now, more than ever, the public has a right to know whether the suspected assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, is another in a long line of mental health failures that become mass killers.
Often there are many inconsistencies in the official investigations. For example, it’s well known the chain of custody is key, yet recall that the FBI failed on multiple occasions to protect chain of custody evidence in the San Bernardino shooting where the former disgraced FBI director, James Comey, allowed the press to walk through the crime scene and the Sandy Hook mass killing where the Chief Medical Examiner’s employee allowed her husband to view Lanza’s body.
There can be no screw ups in this investigation. We don’t need cover ups and conspiracies. We need to know what drove this alleged assassin to act and any efforts to withhold information will result in unnecessary distrust of federal law enforcement agencies. Just as important, withholding any mental health data, does nothing to address what really is behind so many of these violent attacks…failed mental health “treatments” and deadly prescribed mind-altering drugs.

Secret Service agents promptly shielded Trump and guided him away from further harm. Despite being injured, a defiant Trump raised his fist and yelled “Fight!” multiple times toward the crowd.
Now, Susan Crabtree of Real Clear Politics has revealed more infuriating details about that fateful day. It turns out the Secret Service decided to shift critical resources to guard Jill Biden’s campaign event in Pittsburgh and away from the 45th President’s rally. Both were held on Saturday
Two sources told her this was because they were following the agency’s protocol of treating Trump as a former president. This is despite the fact this “former president” is the frontrunner to become the next president of the United States and has the largest political following in the country.
She also poses a critical question: who decided to divert these resources to Dr. Jill’s paltry event?

Secret Services resources were diverted to Jill Biden’s event and away from Trump’s because they followed agency protocol applying to Trump as a former president, according to two sources within the Secret Service community. There were also many supplemental agents from different field officers (not Trump’s regular detail) providing security at the rally because Trump’s regular detail has been overworked (some working 7 days straight), and only two counter-snipers.
But Trump is not just a former president — he is the first in modern history to have run for president again — and he has been the focus of several prosecutions and controversies (understatement intentional).
Who made the decision to divert the resources to Jill Biden’s event?
Crabtree also noted that Trump’s detail was so overworked that several agents assigned Saturday were TEMPORARY replacements from multiple field offices. Again, Trump was treated as just some random “former president.”
Trump’s usual protective Secret Service detail was worked so hard (working 7 days a week with no days off) that many of agents assigned Saturday were temporary replacements from different field offices.
This is not the usual protocol for sitting presidents and vice presidents but “typical” for former presidents, (although no former presidents have run again in modern history.)
“Trump has a permanent detail, however it’s much smaller in the amount of bodies,” the source said. “His detail has been worked so hard with all the travel that they’re working 7 days a week with shift changes. so HQ sends in temp agents to supplement – not a good scenario. Mission Failure, IMHO.”
This blatant disrespect toward Trump likely played a role in him almost getting killed. Heads better roll across the agency.

According to a witness who spoke to BBC News, the gunman was ‘bear crawling’ up the roof of the unsecured building. The witness said he was pointing at the gunman for two to three minutes and trying to alert police to the potential threat.
Police officers were running around clueless. Secret Service was looking in the direction of the shooter with their binoculars, according to the witness
A local police officer reportedly confronted the gunman, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks on the roof but retreated after Crooks pointed his rifle at him.
According to sources who spoke to NBC News, the Secret Service identified the rooftop as a security vulnerability days before the Butler rally.

The rooftop where a gunman shot at former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally was identified by the Secret Service as a potential vulnerability in the days before the event, two sources familiar with the agency’s operations told NBC News.
The building, owned by a glass research company, is adjacent to the Butler Farm Show, an outdoor venue in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Secret Service was aware of the risks associated with it, the sources said.
“Someone should have been on the roof or securing the building so no one could get on the roof,” said one of the sources, a former senior Secret Service agent who was familiar with the planning.
Understanding how the gunman got onto the roof — despite those concerns — is a central question for investigators scrutinizing how a lone attacker managed to shoot at Trump during Saturday’s campaign event.

Jul. 14, 2024 10:30 am – Investigative reporter Laura Loomer has uncovered a BlackRock ad from 2023 that appears to feature Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old shooter who tried assassinating President Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday evening.
BlackRock has deep ties to Biden, with many former executives and employees being hired to fill his administration.
The BlackRock ad was filmed at Bethel Park High School, which Crooks attended.
Loomer posted additional information about the ad in a subsequent post on X.
In a strange twist, Joe Biden’s longtime advisor, Michael C. Donilon, is the brother of Thomas E. Donilon, the chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute, the firm’s global think tank.
Along with shooting Trump, Crooks also fatally shot an attendee of the rally and critically injured two others.
Crooks was shot and killed by a counter sniper just moments after he shot the former president in the ear.

Biden denied he was polling at 36% approval and then issued a cryptic, veiled threat.
“Wouldn’t a clear-eyed political calculus tell you it’s going to be much tougher to win in 2024?” Stephanopoulos asked Biden referring to the abysmal polls.
Biden issued a veiled threat.
“Not when you’re running against a pathological liar. Not when he hadn’t been challenged in a way that he’s about to be challenged,” Biden said with a sinister look on his face.
One week later Joe Biden’s Secret Service failed to protect President Trump.
In an appalling breach of security, a gunman was able to climb on top of a roof next to Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania rally and put Trump in his scope.
Trump’s detail didn’t even do the most basic work to secure the perimeter.

Following the assassination attempt, The Gateway Pundit revealed video footage from the rally seemed to show two Secret Service agents standing watch on the rooftop directly adjacent to where the shooter reported fired from, leaving many to wonder how they missed. Moreover, an eyewitness told the BBC that he informed the local police and Secret Service about a suspicious man on a roof with a rifle, but he was ignored.
Now, the news gets even worse. One local police officer might have been able to save the day by neutralizing the shooter but reportedly failed to engage.
After audience members pointed out to local law enforcement officers that Crooks was climbing a ladder onto the roof of a building, the officer followed and eventually confronted the would-be assassin.
Crooks responded by pointing his gun at the officer. The person in blue retreated down the ladder, and Crooks immediately fired a shot at Trump.
Thankfully, Secret Service snipers gunned down Crooks immediately afterward.

Britain’s Discriminatory Tax Plan Threatens Jewish Schools
July 14, 2024 JBN News – A new tax regulation introduced by newly elected Prime Minister Keir Starmer could force the closure of many Jewish schools in the United Kingdom.
Many of Britain’s Jewish private schools operate on a sliding scale, with fees starting as low as £1,000 per term or even less, depending on what families can afford. However, Starmer’s newly unveiled tax plan will strip these schools of their VAT and business rate exemptions in order to redirect £1.5bn to the state’s public school system.
Since Hamas’ massacre against Israel on October 7, the UK has seen a major wave of Israeli families seeking refuge. An estimated 22,000 students are currently enrolled in Britain’s 140 Jewish private schools, and the impact of these closures would be far-reaching.
“This would force Jewish parents with more than a couple of children onto the poverty line and force schools that don’t currently charge fees to shut down,” Partnership for Jewish Schools Director Raisel Freedman tells the Telegraph.
“That’s a real worry, because a lot of the money is currently coming from community funding. You will have thousands of Jewish students with nowhere to go.”
Furthermore, if Jewish schools lose their independent status, they will no longer maintain control over their admittance policies which safeguards against authorities efforts to allocate surplus seats to non-Jewish students.
Legal experts have also raised concerns that the proposed legislation may illegally discriminate against Jewish families who will struggle to find placements for their children in public schools that meet their security needs, religious education, and kosher requirements.

The gunshots were heard at approximately 6:10 pm. Biden remained silent on the subject until 7:58 pm, and Kamala Harris waited until 8:26 pm. Meanwhile, the White House has not put out an official statement.

The news was announced by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) on social media, stating that the committee had been informed of the incident and would hold an emergency hearing as soon as possible.
“Secret Service has responded to GOP Oversight and will be briefing us ASAP. We have also notified Secret Service that we will be holding an emergency hearing ASAP to uncover what transpired at President Trump’s rally. The Secret Service Director is being called to testify. Date will be announced soon,” Anna Paulina Luna wrote on X.
Rep. James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, announced on his social media account that he “have already contacted the Secret Service for a briefing and am also calling on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to appear for a hearing. The Oversight Committee will send a formal invitation soon.”

Just three months ago House Democrats moved to strip President Trump of his Secret Service protection if he is convicted.
Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson introduced a resolution that would terminate Trump’s Secret Service protection. The legislation dubbed the “Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable (DISGRACED) Former Protectees Act would apply to all Secret Service protectees convicted and sentenced under felony charges.
“The DISGRACED Former Protectees Act would terminate Secret Service protection for individuals who otherwise qualify for it upon sentencing following conviction for a Federal or State felony,” the announcement said.
“It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality. Therefore, it is necessary for us to be prepared and update the law so the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment —and that those who are sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required of them,” Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson said according to the Washington Times.
On Saturday President Trump was shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania by a man positioned on a roof nearby.
Trump was rushed to a medical facility after a bullet grazed his ear.
Just last month Democrat Bennie Thompson was pushing the resolution again.

New photos have emerged allegedly showing the deceased shooter on a rooftop adjacent to the president’s podium. He was reportedly situated to the right side of Trump when he shot 8-10 bullets toward the rally.
Things do not add up, however, as video footage from the rally clearly shows what looks like two Secret Service agents standing watch on the Rooftop directly adjacent to where the shooter allegedly fired from.
The live video feed, broadcast by RSBN, shows Trump being introduced at the rally at 6:04 PM EST. Two agents can be clearly seen standing on the rooftop behind him on the same side he was shot. Furthermore, their rooftop was higher elevation than the shooter’s. How did they miss him?

The counter-snipers were positioned on a roof behind where Trump was speaking.
One of the snipers appears to look up from his rifle as shots rang out. The counter-sniper then appears to engage and respond. [Emphasis added]
An eyewitness told the BBC that they could see the shooter crawling on another nearby roof and alerted police and the Secret Service before Trump was shot.

Jul. 14, 2024 12:05 am – The FBI has confirmed the identity of the individual who attempted to assassinate former U.S. President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The FBI announced earlier on Sunday that it has “tentatively identified” the individual who attempted to assassinate former U.S. President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“At this time, we are not prepared to identify who the shooter is. Uh, we are close to that identification, and as soon as we are 100% confident in who that individual is, we will share it with the press. With that being said, also, we do not currently have an identified motive. Although our investigators are working tirelessly to attempt to identify what that motive was at this time,” said Kevin Rojek, FBI special agent in charge in Pittsburgh.
Hours after the press conference, the FBI released the suspect’s identity. He has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
“The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the subject involved in the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on July 13, in Butler, Pennsylvania. This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and anyone with information that may assist with the investigation is encouraged to submit photos or videos online at FBI.gov/butler or call 1-800-CALL-FBI.”
The New York Post was the first to report the suspect’s name.
The gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump Saturday was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, sources told The Post.
Crooks, of Bethel Park, Pa., squeezed off shots — one of which grazed Trump in the ear — at an outdoor rally in Butler, just outside Pittsburgh.
Sources said Crooks was planted on a roof of a manufacturing plant more than 130 yards away from the stage at Butler Farm Show grounds.
He was killed by Secret Service snipers. An AR-style rifle was later recovered.
Bethel Park is a village 40 miles south of where the Butler rally was held.

And next thing you know, five shots ring out.

July 13, 2024 at 5:01pm – Gunfire turned a rally into chaos Saturday as former President Donald Trump was wounded on the right side of his head.
Raw video posted to X shows the scene as Trump was speaking and multiple shots rang out.
As the U.K.’s Daily Mail recounted the incident: “Trump grabbed at the side of his head as he appeared to be hit.”
Trump raised his right fist to show the crowd that he was not seriously wounded before he was taken away. After Trump raised his fist, chants of “USA” and “Make America Great Again” came from the crowd at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
In a post published on the Team Trump account on the social media platform X, the official site of the Trump campaign, Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said the former president was “fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility.”
Trump “thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act,” the post stated.
According to The New York Times, the sound of gunshots came from Trump’s left.
“The former president ducked quickly after the noises began, with the sound coming from the bleachers to the left of where he was standing at a lectern. The noises came in two groups, and smoke rose from that section of the bleachers,” the report said.
The Times report said that one individual was being escorted from the bleachers.
The Secret Service asked members of the news media to leave the stage, saying it was a crime scene.

Biden Admin Launching App to Allow Migrants to Bypass ICE Check-Ins By Cassandra Macdonald
Jul. 13, 2024 7:00 am – According to a new report, the Biden administration is launching an app that will allow migrants to bypass in-person Immigration and Customs Enforcement check-ins.
A pilot version of the app will soon launch in select cities and let millions of illegal migrants check in with ICE using just a phone or computer — while doing whatever they want in the country.
According to the New York Post, who spoke to two sources on the condition of anonymity, “This means the migrants will no longer be required to check in with their local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office every few months while they wait to plead their asylum case in immigration court.”
Biden’s uncontrolled border has left many ICE offices completely jammed up and backlogged, and this appears to be a half-baked attempt at easing the burden. However, experts warn that this will make it much easier for illegals to abscond into the country.
The Post reports:
New York City’s ICE office was already “fully booked through October 2032” as of early last year for appointments to process migrants released at the southern border, according to an official document previously reviewed by The Post.
However, concerned critics fear the new app will make it easier for undocumented migrants living in the US to go under the radar.
One of the sources complained to the newspaper, “The thing has no enforcement around it and will have zero consequences when they don’t check in.”
“Totally half-baked and massively undercuts enforcement,” the source added.
The source added that if the migrant is using a computer, law enforcement cannot track their location.
“ICE was set to announce the upcoming launch of the app during a press conference Thursday — but had to postpone the announcement due to major glitches that would make it impossible for it to handle millions of users, another source said. The app is also not yet approved by the Apple app store,” the Post report explains.
The paper added, “Currently, the app can only manage roughly 200,000 migrants out of the millions who have been released and live in the US to await immigration proceedings — many under the Biden administration.”
It is currently unknown how much the app cost taxpayers to develop.
Bombshell Whistleblower Testimony: Biden Regime Paying BILLIONS to Facilitate Child Trafficking via Government Contractors by Miriam Judith
Jul. 13, 2024 8:45 am – During a round table held by Republican Senators on Tuesday, federal whistleblowers claimed that the Biden Regime is facilitating the trafficking of migrant children via contractors receiving billions of taxpayer dollars.
Deborah White and her colleague Tara Rodes, who are federal employees in the Health and Human Services Unaccompanied Child Program, both testified that the Office of Refugee Resettlement sent thousands of unaccompanied migrant children into potentially dangerous environments after failing to properly vet the sponsors they were being placed with.
According to White, there’s no question: these kids are being trafficked – and the Biden Regime is “complicit.”
From White’s shocking testimony:
“What I discovered was horrifying… Make no mistake – children were not going to their parents they were being trafficked with billions of taxpayer dollars by a contractor failing to to vet sponsors and process children safely with government officials complicit in it.”
In one example, White brought up an alarming case in Florida that involved more than a dozen children linked to one sponsor at multiple addresses.
“Children were sent to addresses that were abandoned houses or non-existent in some cases” she added.
She also talked about another case in which a child was dropped off at an “open field” in Michigan by the HHS contractor. If that wasn’t bad enough, the child was left despite a 911 call coming in around the same area and time. The call reported someone screaming for help.
Rodas followed up White’s bombshell testimony with concerns for the safety of the children at the hands of these unvetted sponsors. As she points out, they could be anyone.
“To place vulnerable migrant children into the hands of sponsors with criminal history, gang affiliation, to whom many aren’t even their parents,” she said.
The whistleblowers also claimed that they never saw the sponsors face to face and that fraudulent documents were constantly being filed in the program. Furthermore, when White brought the issue to her HHS superiors, they belittled her and dismissed it as nothing. According to her, she was shot down every time she questioned anything about the program.
White claimed she was told by HHS response that “you’re not a fake ID expert, and your job is not to investigate the sponsors – your job is to reunify the child with the sponsor.”
She told CBS Austin that she blames the Biden administration and HHS for what is happening.

In a follow-up to the discussion, Senator Chuck Grassley affirmed all fears by releasing shocking records showing that HHS knowingly placed at least two migrant children into a household that was associated with the MS-13 gang.
Democrats under the Biden administration have allowed and encouraged the mass invasion of illegals at our southern border. With this, we have seen an increase in unaccompanied migrant children with many becoming victims of human trafficking.
Instead of showing any concern over the lives of these children, democrats would rather turn a blind eye to the wellbeing of migrant children in their pursuit of illegal voters.
Democrats prove once again that these migrants are nothing to them, except political pawns and votes. Here we have another clear example of the party acting under the guise of “human rights”, while failing to protect even the fundamental human rights of children who are victims of Democrat-sponsored mass migration and its unfortunate side effects.
