July 21, 2025 IPT News – This month, that campaign intensified dramatically. According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR), more than 1,000 people have been killed in recent clashes including 336 Druze fighters and 298 civilians—194 of whom were “executed by gunmen affiliated with the Ministries of Defence and Interior.”
Following a brutal military onslaught at the Druze-majority Syrian city of Sweida, a renewed ceasefire was announced by the government and some Druze leaders on Wednesday, July 16, after several Israeli air strikes targeting the Syrian army headquarters in Damascus vowing to protect the Druze population. The ceasefire was not respected by the Arab clans that joined forces with government troops in their attempt to occupy Sweida.
Pro-government Syrian Arab clans have joined the government in their fight against the Druze minority. Thousands of Arab clan militants joined their allies in attacking the Druze claiming that the Arab clans are in duress. The Supreme Council of Arab Tribes in Syria declared a call to arms on July 18th to occupy Sweida and defeat the Druze.
Several non-Syrian mercenaries fighting on the side of the Syrian government have been arrested or caught on camera such as this video posted to Facebook on July 18.
On Friday July 18th, Al Arabiya News cameras documented the pro-government Arab clans controlling the village of “Little Soura” near Sweida.
The Syrian Presidency accused the Druze of breaking ceasefires and attacking Arab clans in statement on July 18 that completely ignored the attacks and the ethnic cleansing against Druze.
“The spread of armed groups outside the law, which have used weapons as a means to impose a fait accompli and have directly endangered the lives of civilians—including children, women, and the elderly.” mentioned the statement without mentioning the Arab tribes and government troops committing atrocities documented on video by the very assailants.
This is not the first time Al Golani’s government has attacked and targeted a specific ethnic group. It has done that extensively against the Christians and Alawites Muslims since last December when Al Golani seized power following the fall of former Syrian President Bashar Al Assad regime.
While the Druze beliefs adhere to some tenets of Islam, it is considered by some to be an offshoot of the Ismailism branch of Shia Islam and hence it is a monotheistic religions. It emerged in 10th century Egypt during the Fatimid Caliphate. It developed in the Levant region and most of them live in Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan. There are about 1.2 million Druze adherents and the majority live in Syria with about 800,000. They prefer to call themselves the Muwahhidun or the those who believe in One God and hence it is a monotheistic religion.
The Druze enjoyed a period of protected religious freedom under former President Bashar Al Assad but that all changed following his ouster last December fall of Assad regime.
Ethnic Cleansing Videos By Sunni Arab Clans Against Druze
Videos by new Syrian Government soldiers and affiliated militants manifest the extent of brutality and barbarism that the Druze minority is facing now. The ongoing onslaught has been escalating for months. Last May 1st, an ambush by terrorists claimed the lives of 15 Druze citizens as the casualties included burned bodies. The ambush was executed by Government security forces.
Hospitals in Sweida are stacked with an unbelievable number of casualties and corpses on the floors as seen on video posted on July 17.
The Syrian government affiliated security forces played Jihadist songs on their way to storm the city of Sweida and its Druze majority population. The genocidal alliance of Jihadists and militants were unabashed to record everything on video as in the aforementioned video posted on Jun 30
Syrian Druze citizens beaten to near death by Syrian government militias in video shot by the assailants and posted to Telegram on July 15.
Syrian Druze corpses resulting from the hideous operations were loaded on trucks and shipped to unknown locations. The militants shooting the video, that was posted to Telegram on July 14,are heard calling the dead “Pigs and Dogs.”

The campaign included looting Druze businesses and shops in the city amidst shouts of “Allahu Akbar” by the terrorist militias in a video posted to Telegram on July 14.
“In the name of God Allahu Akhbar, these are the Druze pigs’ shops. Thank God they are no war spoils. Thank God everyone is gone and, in a few hours, inshallah we will be in the house of Al Hijri the Pig,” said one pro-Government terrorist in a video posted to Telegram on July 14.
Syrian government militias were creative in their mass murdering techniques. One of them is throwing them out of the balconies or from rooftops and shooting at them while jumping in a horrendous method for death. The government militias had no qualms videotaping these crimes as usual as per posted video from July 19.
In some cases, Syrian Government militias open fire on unarmed victims killing them on the spot after shouting Pigs and Allahu Akbar.
Some families were slaughtered by Al Golani forces Syrian Army forces inside their cars and their bodies were left to rot. Video posted on Facebook July 19.
The massacre video documented on Tuesday claimed the lives of 9 Druze civilians in Radwan guest house in Sweida. Video posted on Telegram July 15.
Syrian security forces opened fire on civilian buildings indiscriminately in a video posted July 17.
Even toddlers were not spared from the barbaric onslaught of Al Golani forces as. Can be seen in this video posted to Telegram on July 17.
Pleas For Saving The Druze Population From Syrian Government Troops
Prominent Druze cleric Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri remains the archrival of Ahmed Al Sharaa, Al Hijri has been calling upon Druze to hold their ground against the onslaught of the Syrian government forces.
The spiritual leadership of Druze issued a plea for saving the lives of Druze citizens on its Facebook page on Thursday July 17 , it said :
“O our people… O free people of As-Suwayda…With broken hearts, unquenchable tears, and feelings beyond expression, we mourn for the free world and for all of humanity:
Our sons… our brothers… our righteous martyrs, who ascended as victims of a bloody tragedy, perpetrated by a criminal terrorist organization that has nothing to do with humanity. In a cowardly attack targeting defenseless civilians from this pure land, killing innocents with a brutality only committed by those who have stripped their hearts of all mercy and their souls of every atom of humanity………In these difficult moments, and after the cleansing of Sweida of the filth of terrorists, we declare that Sweida, a stricken region burdened with its wounds, declares a general mourning period in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs”
“Let them the medical crews document the violations” mentioned the statement. The statement urged the Jordanian authorities to open the borders between Sweida and Jordan for fleeing victims and for humanitarian aid to pass” added the statement
“We also demand the opening of roads to our Kurdish brothers and sisters, and we appeal to His Majesty King Abdullah II in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to direct the opening of a border crossing between Sweida and Jordan, given the humanitarian importance of these roads at these critical times. We hope to take urgent steps to facilitate communication and alleviate the suffering of citizens.
“May God have mercy on our martyrs and grant them a place in His spacious gardens. May He comfort the hearts of their mothers, fathers, brothers, wives, and children. May He inspire us all with patience and steadfastness.
Suwayda is bleeding… yes, but it will not be defeated It will remain proud, steadfast, and hold its head high, thanks to the pride, faith, and unity of its people”
International Condemnations And The Way Forward
The United Nations listed terrorist since July 2013, Ahmed Al Sharaa aka Abu Mohammed Al Golani can be described as a rare winner for a political lottery as no Islamist terrorist have ever been so lucky to be recognized by world powers and even sit a tete a’ tete with world leaders including the President of the United States who lifted the sanctions on Syrian upon his meeting following persuasions by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman.
Al Sharaa is now in a place of power contrary to his peers such as Osama Bin Laden, Ayman Al Zawahiri, Al Baghdadi who all met the ending they deserved. But instead, Al Golani is sitting in on his lofty perch in his presidential palace knowing he is safe from accountability of his former and current crimes thanks to rushing towards recognizing him as a leader of a nation that has been torn by war for 14 years and deserved a much better leadership than a mass murderer in a suit.
A number of countries such as France condemned the atrocities practiced against the Druze population but hardly any country involved in the region condemned the mass murdering of Druze and certainly not the Arab League.
Two weeks ago, the world commemorated the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica Massacre of Bosnia war this month, The massacre claimed the lives of over 10,0000 Bosnian Muslims by Bosnian Serbs in the worst massacre of this kind since WWII. It remains reminiscent of the ongoing massacres in Syria targeting Druze and previously Alawites and Christians is making Syria a new Yugoslavia.
Despite the claims of withdrawing from Sweida by government forces, the pro-government militias vow to fight and attempting to storm the city as the video of July 20 indicates. They are willing to fight till what the labeled Al Hijri the “Dog of Israel”. A video posted on Facebook and Telegram channel Naya for Iraq July 20 made by the militants indicate they are willing to take the city by force again and commit further atrocities, mutilate bodies and call the Druze pigs with dirty blood such in in this video posted on Telegram Channel Naya for Iraq on July 20.
Giving Ahmed Al Sharaa a chance to prove himself as a civilized leader and not a terrorist was a severe case of political wishful thinking on behalf of the Arab and Western leaders alike. He only lived up to his notorious reputation in the past 7 months and thousands of innocent Syrian civilians have paid their lives for this uncalculated political gambit. It is time to put an end to this shameful experience before Sweida turns into a new Srebrenica Massacre.

What al-Sharaa’s Army Did to the Druze in Sweida BY HUGH FITZGERALD
JUL 20, 2025 – After the IDF went into action to stop Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa’s army from continuing its bloodbath in Sweida, by bombing 160 sites in Sweida itself, and in Damascus, hitting the army headquarters and a place close to the presidential palace by way of a warning, the Syrian dictator pulled his troops back and declared, despite the mounting evidence to the contrary, that he was the true “protector of the Druze.” Not many Druze in Syria, and none in Israel, believe him. The latest report on how the Druze are reeling from attacks by al-Sharaa’s army can be found here: “Bodies and looted homes: Syria’s Druze reeling after Sweida bloodshed,” Reuters, July 18, 2025:
One elderly man had been shot in the head in his living room. Another in his bedroom. The body of a woman lay in the street. After days of bloodshed in Syria’s Druze city of Sweida, survivors emerged on Thursday to collect and bury the scores of dead found across the city.
A ceasefire announced on Wednesday night brought an end to ferocious fighting between Druze militia and government forces sent to the city to quell clashes between Druze and Bedouin fighters.
The violence worsened sharply after the arrival of government forces, according to accounts to Reuters by a dozen residents of Sweida, two reporters on the ground and a monitoring group.
Residents described friends and neighbors being shot at close range in their homes or in the streets. They said the killings were carried out by Syrian troops, identified by their fatigues and the insignia on them….
The army and government militias sent to Sweida were not just intent on stopping the fighting between the Druze and the Bedouin. Al-Sharaa hoped by this show of force to persuade the Druze to incorporate their own militia into the national army, something that so far the Druze have refused to do.
Syrian Information Minister Hamzah al-Mustafa, in comments to Reuters after this story was published, said the authorities were “aware of the reports concerning serious violations during the recent events in Sweida, including acts that may constitute atrocities and sectarian incitement.”
The government was “aware of the reports” of such atrocities by army troops, but did not immediately demand that those troops leave Sweida, as it ought to have done. That happened only after, and as a result of, the IDF attacks both in Sweida and in Damascus.
“The Syrian Government strongly condemns all such acts and reaffirms its absolute rejection of sectarian violence in all its forms,” Mustafa said….
Then why has the Syrian government yet to arrest a single one of the Sunnis, including members of the army, who killed at least 1,500 members (some Alawites claim that 40,000 were killed) of the Alawite minority in their stronghold of Latakia last March? Why has the government yet to round up any of the Islamic jihadis who have been killing Christians in Damascus an Aleppo, and who on June 22 organized the suicide bombing of the ancient Greek Orthodox church of Mar Elias, killing 25 and wounding 69?
In a video statement early on Thursday, Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa said that protecting the rights of Druze was among his priorities and blamed “outlaw groups” seeking to inflame tensions for any crimes against civilians.
Al-Sharaa can blame “outlaw groups” for all these “crimes against civilians,” but the Druze themselves lay the blame for the killings on soldiers of the Syrian army, whom they witnessed wearing their uniforms as they slaughtered Druze civilians. These are the soldiers in the army that Al-Sharaa directs.
He vowed to hold accountable those responsible for violations against the Druze, but did not say whether government forces were responsible.
Since he refuses to admit to what is crystal clear to the Druze, that Syrian soldiers committed these atrocities against their people, why should they put any faith in his absurd assertions that he — and no one else, by which he means the IDF — will be their ‘protector”?
The government’s statement on Wednesday on a ceasefire for the region said a fact-finding mission would investigate the “crimes, violations and breaches that happened, determine who was responsible and compensate those affected… as quickly as possible.”
Do you think al-Sharaa’s investigators will dare to accuse the army of being responsible for the atrocities suffered by the Druze? Isn’t it more likely that they will conclude more or less as follows: “The fighting in Sweida was confused, there were casualties on all sides that were the result of the Druze-Bedouin clashes, and the Syrian army had intervened only to impose a peace but, unfortunately, after it had done so, ‘clashes flared up again,’ and the army has returned to Sweida to yet again broker a ceasefire. Unfortunately, our southern neighbor insists on intervening to promote its own aims, that have nothing to do with the wellbeing of the Druze people. I am speaking of Israel, which wants to fracture our beloved country. It is our government’s priority to safeguard the Druze, just as we do with all of Syria’s minorities.”
The Syrian Network for Human Rights, a rights monitor that documented violations throughout the civil war and has continued its work, said on Friday it had verified 321 people killed in Sweida, including medical personnel, women and children….
Other reports give a figure of 600 dead, almost all of them Druze civilians.
Ryan Maarouf of local media outlet Suwayda24 told Reuters on Thursday he had found a family of 12 killed in one house, including naked women, an elderly man and two young girls.
It was not possible to verify who killed the people in these cases.
These victims are almost all Druze. If we are to believe the reports of eyewitnesses, the killers were almost all army soldiers. That would make sense. The Sunni conscripts do not regard the Druze as real Muslims, nor do the Druze see themselves as Muslims, so there is open season on these Infidels who have the gall to fight the Sunni Bedouin and, what’s more, to refuse to let the Syrian state incorporate the Druze militia into the national army.
Now the Syrian army is intent on returning to Sweida to stop the Druze-Bedouin clashes that have flared up again. Al-Sharaa proclaims himself the “protector of the Druze.” The real protector of the Druze, the IDF, has given the Syrians 48 hours to stop the fighting, after which time the Israelis may take over to protect the Druze and to make sure that the Syrian army withdraws back to Damascus. The Israelis have two goals in Syria: first, to protect the Druze who are “the brothers of our brothers,” the Israeli Druze who have been such loyal citizens and effective fighters in the IDF; second, to make sure that from Damascus to the Druze territory on the border with Israel become and remains demilitarized. Within a few days, we will know if Israel is on the road to achieving these goals, or whether it will have to attack more Syrian army sites to make sure al-Sharaa understands what he must do.

These new documents expose the Biden White House’s involvement in AG Garland’s memo targeting parents — and reveal that career lawyers at DOJ warned that there was no federal authority or legal basis to target these parents in the first place because their speech is protected by the First Amendment.
The documents show that after receiving the National School Board Association (NSBA) memo, which called on DOJ to use the Patriot Act to prevent parents from objecting to mask mandates in schools and Critical Race Theory in the curriculum, DOJ’s political leadership worked to identify anything — any authority — they could use to bring the full weight of the Justice Department down on parents.
The problem was that all the advice from the DOJ career lawyers was that there was no law within the Justice Department’s purview that applied to parents speaking at school board meetings…
Despite setting off a weekend fire drill to find “any authorities CRT enforces” so that DOJ could act quickly to respond to the NSBA, Sparkle Sooknanan was explicitly advised that the instances cited by the NSBA “likely fall outside of our jurisdiction.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released a bombshell report alleging that former President Barack Obama, alongside Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and John Brennan, orchestrated a “treasonous conspiracy” to undermine Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential election victory and subvert American democracy. The report, supported by declassified documents, claims Obama and his administration manipulated intelligence to falsely suggest Russian interference helped Trump defeat Clinton, despite evidence to the contrary. This narrative, dubbed the “Russia Hoax,” allegedly fueled the years-long Trump-Russia collusion probe, including the discredited Steele dossier, which Gabbard says was knowingly used to smear Trump.
On December 8, 2016, a President’s Daily Brief (PDB) stated Russia did not use cyberattacks to alter the 2016 election outcome. However, on December 9, Obama convened a high-level meeting with national security officials, including Comey (FBI Director), Brennan (CIA Director), James Clapper (DNI), Susan Rice, and others, to craft a new intelligence assessment claiming Russian interference. This shift, per Gabbard’s documents, relied on the unverified Steele dossier, funded by Clinton’s campaign and the DNC, to justify investigations like Crossfire Hurricane. Award-winning journalist Catherine Herridge has highlighted these documents, noting their revelation of suppressed pre-election intelligence that cleared Russia of significant interference.
Commentators like Jesse Watters, Steve Bannon, and Jack Posobiec assert this was a deliberate attempt to delegitimize Trump’s presidency, with Bannon calling it a “coup” against a duly elected president. They claim Comey and Brennan lied to Congress about Trump being a Russian asset, with Comey briefing Trump on the dossier post-election to perpetuate the hoax. Posts on X and reports from Fox News and The Gateway Pundit allege Obama personally directed this effort, with some, like Steve Miller, claiming it constitutes serious crimes warranting investigation and potential arrest. Trump, during 2020 debates, stated, “We caught them,” suggesting the election was rigged to bury this scandal.
Gabbard’s report, sent to the Justice Department, calls for accountability, accusing Obama’s team of weaponizing intelligence to harm America and subvert the will of the people. Critics, like Rep. Jim Himes, dismiss these claims as baseless, noting bipartisan Senate investigations found no evidence of politicized intelligence. Nonetheless, GOP figures like House Speaker Mike Johnson praise Gabbard for “dismantling the deep state.” The controversy, tied to ongoing investigations into Comey and Brennan, has reignited debates about the 2016 election, with Trump’s allies arguing it exposes the greatest political scandal in U.S. history—an attempted insurrection against a legitimate president. Trump, now more popular than Obama, Biden, or Bush, continues to push for accountability, claiming this vindicates his long-standing narrative.

Attorney Ty Clevenger for years has doggedly gone after information held by the Deep State FBI and DOJ that they refuse to release. It is the law that documents related to Seth Rich be released but the Deep State DOJ is hiding these documents from the public. They still are to to this day.
On Friday, Clevenger shared the following reason for why the Deep State won’t provide requested documents from the Seth Rich case.
We filed a motion today to compel the @FBI to search its “prohibited access” files and its previously-secret evidence room for records about Seth Rich. On May 29, 2025, Senate Judiciary Chairman @ChuckGrassley
revealed that the FBI had been designating certain records “prohibited access” such that they would not appear during records searches. In other words, “prohibited access” files would have been hidden from FOIA requesters.
For the reasons set forth in the motion (URL below), there is good reason to believe Seth Rich and CrowdStrike records would have been designated “prohibited access.”
The day after Senator Grassley revealed the “prohibited access” feature, @FBIDDBongino revealed the existence of a previously-hidden evidence room at FBI headquarters, and he said records in that room had not been entered into FBI records systems. In other words, those records would also have been hidden from FOIA requesters.
We tried for six weeks to get some straight answers out of the FBI, but no luck. I wish Bongino and @FBIDirectorKash would pay attention to this case, which has been pending since 2020. If they won’t, then maybe Senator Grassley, @JamesComer, @RepMTG, @Jim_Jordan, @RepLuna, @RepThomasMassie, @DNIGabbard or @SpeakerJohnson will.
