August 14, 2024 5:16pm – Google on Wednesday revealed that alleged hacking operations into United States presidential campaigns by Iran are still going on and are wider ranging than initially believed.
A hacking group with ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) hacked the emails of about a dozen people associated with President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in May and June. Google said it is still seeing unsuccessful attempts at hacking the campaigns today.
Google said Iranian hackers have successfully logged into the personal Gmail account of a “a high-profile political consultant,” but it is not clear who the consultant was, and which campaign they were associated with, according to CNN. However, Trump said his campaign was hacked in June, which the FBI is investigating.

Politico on Tuesday broke the news that “the nation’s best hackers” were able to break into voting machines.
Over the weekend, some of the world’s top hackers convened in Las Vegas for the annual DEF CON conference, specifically at the Voting Village event, to probe and expose vulnerabilities in voting machines set to be used in the upcoming November election.
From Friday through Sunday, hackers at Voting Village tested various voting machines and related equipment, attempting to bypass security measures.
Meanwhile, election officials discussed misinformation and disinformation threats. The findings from this year’s event will be detailed in a forthcoming report by the organizers.
Harri Hursti, co-founder of Voting Village, noted that the list of vulnerabilities found was extensive but consistent with previous years.
“There’s so much basic stuff that should be happening and is not happening, so yes I’m worried about things not being fixed, but they haven’t been fixed for a long time, and I’m also angry about it,” Hursti told Politico.
Scott Algeier, executive director of the Information Technology-Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IT-ISAC), emphasized that fixing vulnerabilities is not a quick process: “Even if you find a vulnerability next week in a piece of modern equipment that’s deployed in the field, there’s a challenge in getting the patch and getting the fix out to the state and local elections officials and onto the equipment before the November election.”
“It’s not a 90-day fix, It’s not a Microsoft every Tuesday, issue your patch and everything works fine. It’s a pretty complicated process,” he added.

Aug. 14, 2024 10:00 am – I’ve been filming on borders around the world since early 2019, and I always encounter government agents who want to tell me what’s really going on behind the scenes. My latest tour on the border in Jacumba, California, has been no different.
An agent who spoke to me under the condition he remains anonymous told me that immediately after Joe Biden took office in 2021, official email communications from his administration instructed all Border Patrol agents to turn in family members, friends, and co-workers if they believed that the election was stolen or tampered with.
The communications also directed agents to turn in people they knew if they were against the COVID-19 vaccines and lockdowns.
The emails directing agents to hand over names may have gone out to all federal agencies, although the agent did not indicate this.
The agent also told me that it was a profound 180-degree change from when Donald Trump was president.
Of course, Biden was sworn in as president 14 days after January 6, 2021. His administration obviously wanted to monitor Trump supporters. I was the videographer for the March for Trump cross-country bus tour, which culminated at the Capitol in DC on January 6, and I filmed the protest there.
All I saw were hundreds of thousands of people being peaceful. A tiny percentage became violent before the main group got there and I didn’t see them.
In June of 2021, NBC News reported on an FBI agent’s statement about January 6:
“A review of open source and social media posts leading up to and during the event indicates that individuals participating on the ‘Stop the Steal,’ rally were angered about the results of the 2020 presidential election and felt that Joseph Biden had unlawfully been declared ‘President-Elect,’” said the report by FBI Special Agent Patricia Norden.
“Users in multiple online groups and platforms discussed traveling to the Capitol armed or making plans to start a ‘revolution’ on that day.”
The Biden administration surely wanted names from Border Patrol agents in order to monitor communications or social media accounts.
But the administration went even further than just people who believed the election was stolen. Biden’s people instructed agents to turn in those who didn’t believe in the vaccines and the lockdowns.
All of this is seriously concerning.
Hundreds of Families Forced to Vacate From Colorado Apartment Complex After Kamala Harris’s Venezuelan Migrant Gang Members Take Over Building By Cristina Laila
Aug. 13, 2024 9:20 pm – An apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado is closing after Kamala Harris’s Venezuelan migrant gang known as Tren de Aragua took over the building.
Hundreds of families were forced out of their apartment units thanks to Kamala Harris’s dangerous open borders policies.
Many of the evicted families are struggling to find new homes.
The city of Aurora tried claiming the apartment building is being shut down due to code violations, however, a city council member says that’s a lie.
“We are not buying this,” said Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky. “We believe that yes, there are code violations, but this started because of a gang takeover. That’s what we believe.”
A task force is investigating Tren de Aragua’s connection to the Aurora apartment complex.
“The Aurora Police Department, in partnership with the RAVEN Task Force, has assigned four detectives to a special task force that includes additional local, state, and federal partners to investigate violent crime impacting our migrant community,” said an Aurora Police Department spokesperson last week.
Crime is rampant at the apartment complex due to Kamala Harris’s Venezuelan gang members.
“According to statistics provided by an Aurora city spokesman, calls for service at 1568 Nome Street have increased in recent years. In 2022, APD investigated 41 crimes at the site. In 2023, police investigated 84 crimes. As of July 31, officers have investigated 66 crimes at the property so far this year.” Denver 7 reported.

The Aurora Police Department said it has assigned detectives to a special task force to investigate a Venezuelan gang’s alleged connections to the city.
The announcement came during a city council public safety meeting on Thursday.
“We have stood up a task force specific to this group,” said APD Acting Deputy Chief Chris Juul. “We are actively looking at who they are, what they’re doing, how many are there, what is the reality of the situation compared to what the other public information that’s going on around out there nationally is.”
The gang, known as Tren de Aragua, started out as a prison gang in Venezuela and has expanded throughout the Western Hemisphere. Last month, the Biden administration designated the gang as a transnational criminal organization, accusing it of engaging in human smuggling and trafficking, gender-based violence, money laundering and illicit drug trafficking.

Marriott Sues After Hotel Is Converted to Migrant Shelter By Jared Harris
Aug. 13, 2024 6:00 pm The Western Journal – A franchisee for Marriott International is being sued by the parent company for an alleged breach of contract made by converting a hotel into a shelter for migrants, just before the site’s grand opening.
In the lawsuit, filed August 5 in the Southern District of New York federal court, Marriot alleges franchisee Pride Hotel abandoned and breached its contract by opening the facility to an unauthorized “alternative use.”
Marriott is demanding payment for damages totaling at least $2.6 million.
The conversion of the Jamaica, New York, hotel into something of a migrant shelter happened without Marriott’s permission, the parent hotel giant claims.
“After more than eight years of construction and development caused by numerous delays by Pride Hotel, and just months before its deadline to open the Hotels, Pride Hotel willfully breached the Franchise Agreements so it could instead pursue a lucrative government contract to provide shelter to migrants and asylum seekers,” Marriott’s lawsuit states.
The construction of the hotel was no small matter.
In August of 2015, real estate news website The Real Deal revealed the Pride group purchased a site in New York City for $5.3 million in March of that year.
The building application was for a massive 18-story, 110,000-square-foot hotel boasting 283 keyed rooms.
Pride’s building was to open under Marriott’s Aloft and Element brands.
A deadline to open the facility given by Marriott was extended multiple times, with the final “sixth opening date deadline” being slated for November 1, 2023. Just months before the deadline was when the parent company realized something was wrong.
“On or about August 14, 2023, while working on a different project at a nearby property, one of Marriott’s opening managers noticed that people appeared to be moving into the Hotels,” the lawsuit states.
Marriott says it was not informed the hotels were complete and ready for lodgers and was kept in the dark about the migrants. The day after this discovery, Pride Hotel’s attorneys issued a letter to Marriott claiming it is not “economically feasible” for the hotel to operate and that New York was pushing for migrants to be housed there.
Any attempts by Marriott to work the situation out with the Pride group completely fell apart.
Marriott claims the franchised hotels were taking in migrants under contract with New York City while still using the parent company’s marks and signage, all without paying agreed-upon franchise fees.
In March of this year, Marriott cut all franchise agreements with Pride.
A demand was made for Pride to pay damages for the contract’s premature termination, a request which has allegedly not seen any money sent.
The migrant surge has not only been a conflict point between hospitality giants and franchisees, but has also caused serious issues for average people in the city.
Earlier this year, the price of hotel rooms in New York City surged to hundreds of dollars. The increase was due to a perfect storm of conditions, including illegal immigrants being granted a major portion of the city’s hotel rooms.
The disruption is not just financial in nature.
In June, an illegal immigrant being housed at a New York hotel allegedly shot two NYPD officers during a routine traffic stop.
Police Chief Behind Raid of Kansas Newspaper That Led to Death of 98-Year-Old Co-Owner Charged with Felony By Cristina Laila
Aug. 13, 2024 6:20 pm – Gideon Cody, the former police chief behind the raid of a small Kansas newspaper that led to the death of the 98-year-old co-owner has been charged with a felony.
Joan Meyer, the 98-year-old co-owner of the Marion County Record -a weekly newspaper published in Marion, Kansas- tragically passed away after an unprecedented police raid on her home and the newspaper office last August.
The city of Marion’s five-officer police force, along with two sheriff’s deputies, conducted the raid on the Marion County Record’s office and the home of owner and publisher Eric Meyer. The shocking operation left Joan Meyer, Eric’s mother, and co-owner of the paper, dead, and has been characterized by Meyer as an assault on press freedom.
The raid came on the heels of a bitter feud between the Marion County Record and a local restaurant owner, Kari Newell. The newspaper had reportedly acquired sensitive documents potentially leading to the revocation of Newell’s liquor license. These documents included evidence of drunk driving convictions and operating a vehicle without a license.
The search warrant authorized the seizure of computer hardware and software, digital communications, cellular networks, servers, hard drives, utility records, and documents related to Newell. Specifically, the warrant focused on the ownership of computers that could be involved in the alleged “identity theft of Kari Newell.”
During the raid, police not only seized computers and internet routers from the Meyers’ home but also dug through Eric Meyer’s personal bank and investment statements. Joan Meyer, waiting for a Meals on Wheels delivery at the time, reportedly watched tearfully as the police conducted their search. The distressing event left her unable to eat or sleep, contributing to her death, according to the newspaper.
Gideon Cody was charged with one felony count of interfering with the judicial process last week.

Gideon Cody faces one count of interference with the judicial process, a felony with a possible punishment of seven to 23 months in prison.
The case stems from Cody’s actions following the Aug. 11, 2023, raid on the Marion County Record when he allegedly told local businesswoman Kari Newell to delete texts between them.
The charge was announced earlier last week when special prosecutors who reviewed the case released a 124-page report detailing their findings. Prosecutors formally filed the case on Monday in Marion County District Court.
The criminal complaint against Cody lists the date of the crime as between Aug. 11 and Aug. 17. A host of law enforcement officials, journalists and local figures are listed as witnesses. Kansas Bureau of Investigation Director Tony Mattivi is also listed as a witness.
Iran Rejects European Leaders’ Call To Refrain From Any Retaliatory Attacks

The leaders of Britain, France and Germany in a joint statement Monday asked Iran and its allies to refrain from retaliation for the killing of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last month. Iran has blamed Israel.
The European leaders also endorsed the latest push by mediators from Qatar, Egypt and the United States to broker an agreement to end the Israel-Hamas war. Talks are expected to resume Thursday. And they called for the return of scores of hostages held by Hamas and the “unfettered” delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Mediators have spent months trying to get the sides to agree to a three-phase plan in which Hamas would release the remaining hostages captured in its Oct. 7 attack in exchange for Palestinians imprisoned by Israel, and Israel would withdraw from Gaza.

Secret Service Agent Partly Responsible for Security Planning at Butler Rally Under Internal Investigation for Leaking ‘Videos and Photos from Her Protective Assignments’ to Social Media: Report By Jim Hᴏft
Aug. 13, 2024 8:30 am – A Secret Service special agent, who was partially responsible for planning security at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally where President Trump was nearly assassinated, is under internal investigation for allegedly leaking sensitive videos and photos from her protective assignments to social media.
According to RealClearPolitics (RCP) correspondent Susan Crabtree, the female agent served as the official site agent for the July 13 event in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a rallygoer, Corey Comperatore, was tragically murdered in front of his family.
An analysis of the agent’s Facebook account revealed a photo seemingly taken from Mar-a-Lago, captioned with a cheery message: “A sunset to be grateful for …” accompanied by heart and sunset emojis and hashtags like “#nofilter #southflorida #thankful #workmode.”
“Sources familiar with the videos said most appeared on the agent’s Instagram account, which is marked private,” Crabtree wrote on X.

Sources within the Secret Service say the site agent was inexperienced for such a critical security role but noted that the position is rotated throughout the Trump detail, not routinely assigned based on merit or experience.
There is now concern within the agency that the site agent for the Butler rally will take the fall for the event’s egregious layers of security failures – that Rowe will fire her over her social media posts, but not for any security failures at the July 13 event.
In contrast, the lead agent had decades of experience within the Secret Service but did not have experience on a protective detail, the innermost ring of security for presidents, first ladies, former presidents, and their families, according to sources in the Secret Service community familiar with her background.
While the months of rancor and recriminations leading up to the assassination attempt against Trump undoubtedly distracted the Trump detail from its ultimate mission, the Butler rally served as a wake -up call and a reset, according to sources close to Curran.
“Sone agents have referred to it as their 9/11 moment where people are opting back onto the detail,” remarked a source in the Secret Service community. “Morale is high, people are motivated. These agents [protecting Trump] are stiff-jawed with steel in their spine.”
This incident is not an isolated case but rather part of a broader pattern of dysfunction within the Secret Service detail assigned to Trump, according to Crabtree.
Over the past year, internal strife has plagued the team, distracting agents from their primary mission: ensuring Trump’s safety amid rising threats.
“Rancor, recriminations, and serious formal misconduct complaints have plagued all levels of the Secret Service detail assigned to protect former President Donald Trump over the last year, distracting the team from its core mission of securing Trump from physical harm and preventing an assassination,” Crabtree wrote.
“Trump’s regular detail team, a force of 60 employees – special agents and support staff – has been beset by internal division, long workdays and weeks, and constant stress. Last year, the team lost one of its members to suicide,” she added.
RealClearPolitics obtained information about a May 15 all-hands conference call during which Sean Curran, the detail leader, and his deputy, Matthew Piant, addressed these issues head-on.
They expressed their dismay over what they termed “rumors, innuendo and toxicity” within the ranks. The leaders condemned a particularly egregious incident where cellphone photos were taken of two support staff members sleeping while on duty at Mar-a-Lago—a breach of professionalism that was circulated among team members for amusement.
Piant labeled this prank a betrayal of trust and emphasized that accountability should have been enforced differently.
“Those encountering the sleeping individuals should have simply held them accountable by waking them up with a nudge,” he said per RCP. However, many rank-and-file agents voiced frustration that those who fell asleep were never disciplined.

Aug. 13, 2024 7:15 am – In an interview published on Monday by EFE, the main opponent of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, María Corina Machado, asserted that Edmundo González Urrutia, an opposition figure and political candidate, will be sworn in as president in January 2025.
Ms. Corina Machado was barred from running in the presidential elections and appointed González to run in her place. Maduro is accused of attempting to commit fraud to remain in power in a country ravaged by widespread hunger and misery, a result of the Bolivarian communism established there.
Speaking to EFE, Corina Machado stated:
“Edmundo González will be the new head of state and the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, and this depends on what all of us do, all Venezuelans inside and outside the country (…) I trust the people of Venezuela, and that’s why we know that on January 10, we will have a new president.”
Maduro’s opponent reiterated that the opposition Democratic Unity Platform won the elections “overwhelmingly,” and the official results were rejected by numerous countries. She also highlighted that the Carter Center, which served as an observer during the election, noted that the electoral process “cannot be considered democratic.”
According to her, the National Electoral Council, controlled by Maduro’s emissaries, has not published the election records despite numerous calls for transparency from the international community.
Meanwhile, according to the WSJ, the Biden administration is attempting to negotiate an amnesty for Nicolás Maduro so he can leave power without facing accountability for the crimes he has committed, as reported by TGP.

Aug. 11, 2024 6:00 pm – Early Saturday morning, a young Jewish man was stabbed near the Chabad Headquarters in Crown Heights.
According to witnesses, the assailant screamed “Free Palestine” and other antisemitic slurs before stabbing the victim.
Yaacov Behrman, a spokesperson for Chabad-Lubavitch, shared details of the incident on X.
“I can confirm that a hate crime stabbing occurred early this morning in Crown Heights, around 2 a.m., near Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue, close to Chabad Headquarters.”
“The perpetrator, a Black male in his early 20s, shouted ‘Free Palestine and, after an exchange of words with the victim, allegedly asked, ‘Do you want to die?’ before stabbing him.”
“The victim, a young adult Jewish man, was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover due to the location of the stabbing and the quick response of paramedics.”
According to Behrman, residents pursued the attacker and were able to detain him until police arrived to make an arrest.
The New York Post reports, “Police arrested Vincent Sumpter, 22, from Brooklyn. He was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.”
Jewish leaders decried the attack following a rise of antisemitism since the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel.
The CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, Mark Treyger, wrote on X, “This is a dangerous escalation of the current climate we are in and it should outrage every New Yorker because it is an attack on every New Yorker.”

The protesters were chanting for Hamas, and one group even stormed a building on campus, Hamilton Hall, smashing windows and fortifying their position by barricading doors and covering windows, effectively taking control of the academic building.
It seems the radical protesters had Deans at Columbia who held the same ugly views.
The New York Times reports that three Columbia deans exchanged disparaging text messages that the university president said “touched on ancient antisemitic tropes” during a forum about Jewish issues in May.
Susan Chang-Kim, Cristen Kromm, and Matthew Patashnick were initially suspended after the text messages were leaked, but on Thursday, a spokeswoman for the University announced that the three Deans are resigning.
The deans, who had responsibility for undergraduate student affairs, sent the biting and sarcastic messages as they reacted in real time to Jewish speakers expressing concern about antisemitism on campus during the two-hour event.
In June, Nemat Shafik, the university president, placed the three deans on indefinite leave as an investigation proceeded.
In the texts, one dean suggested that a Jewish speaker was playing up concerns for fund-raising purposes. Another sent vomit emojis in reaction to the mention of a college newspaper opinion piece written by one of the school’s rabbis.

Aug. 11, 2024 1:20 pm – New evidence shows that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man suspected of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump, had been intensely preparing for his attack at the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club, a facility frequented by multiple federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
According to the documents released by Grassley’s office on Thursday, Crooks signed up for a membership at the gun club on August 10, 2023.
His alarming pattern of behavior is highlighted by the fact that he visited the range 20 times within just four months of joining. Notably, his dedication to rifle practice was evident, with 80% of his visits focused solely on honing his skills with long guns.
“He focused almost exclusively on the rifle range throughout 2024,” Grassley’s office said in a statement per the New York Post.
Crooks visited the club 43 times within the past year and even spent major holidays, including Christmas Day, Valentine’s Day, and Halloween, under federal law enforcement’s nose.
Crooks’ final visit to the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club occurred just one day before he attempted to assassinate Trump.
According to ABC News, “The Clairton Sportsmen’s Club previously confirmed to ABC News that Crooks visited the gun club for the last time on July 12 — the day before the rally. He visited the range at 2:45 p.m. local time that day, according to the records released by Grassley’s office.”
In a recent broadcast, Fox News’ Jesse Watters highlighted the disturbing nature of the evidence.
“It’s been a month since Trump was nearly killed, and the FBI has barely said a word about what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania. Thankfully, Congress is churning out new information to help the American people understand what happened,” Watters said.
He continued, “Turns out that Crooks first joined the Clarendon Gun Club in August of last year, just a year ago, and then visited the range 43 times. Crooks even spent holidays at the shooting range, including Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween. And his parents didn’t think this was strange.”
What’s more alarming is that the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club wasn’t just a local shooting range—it was a hub for federal law enforcement training. Agencies like DHS, which oversees the Secret Service, regularly held training sessions at the facility. “The shooting range was crawling with feds. Multiple local and federal law law enforcement agencies trained at this facility, including the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees Secret Service. Crooks was training under federal law enforcement’s nose. We’re now seeing just how close they got to each other. Just two months before trying to kill Trump, Crooks was at the range within 24 hours of a Homeland Security Office training session,” Jesse Watters said.

An eyewitness who was detained by the police on the day of the Trump assassination attempt has come forward with explosive claims.
The witness claims that during his time in police custody, he overheard alarming details on police radios that were not disclosed to the public.
The witness, who goes by the name Dave James Stewart or “realDJStew724” on YouTube, claims to have overheard police discussing the presence of blood in a bathroom and a potential second shooter on the loose.
Stewart first posted a video on July 28, fifteen days after the shooting, that shows police reacting to a perceived threat on the roof of the building several minutes before the would-be assassin, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, opened fire.
Two minutes before Crooks’ first shot, an officer could be seen with his handgun drawn as he kept watch on the roof from the opposite side of where Crooks turned out to be.
The man, who appears to be the same man in a suit later seen in police bodycam video talking with officers on the roof guarding Crooks’ body, just wanted to photograph Stewart’s ID. A state trooper would soon take Stewart into custody and take his phone, apparently giving it to the FBI who would keep it for almost a week.
Stewart wrote on his YouTube channel, “Dear PA State Police Trooper who cuffed me and roughed me up: Don’t ever tread on me again. You know what you did. Your partner better have had that bodycam on. That footage better not be deleted. You’re going to pay for what you did to me.”

The head-scratching announcement comes against the backdrop of Boeing’s troubled recent history, which have embroiled the company in numerous controversies casting doubt on its ability to deliver reliable and safe aircraft.

Trying to explain Buc-ee’s to someone who has never visited a Buc-ee’s is like trying to explain to a fish what it’s like to fly a helicopter: It’s difficult to even know where to begin because you know that the person you’re talking to has no frame of reference for such a thing even existing.
The problem, though, is that the fish thinks it knows what’s going on, because occasionally it jumps a couple of feet out of the water. All you can do is shake your head sadly and say, “No. I mean, I get that you think you understand, but you don’t. Maybe one day you’ll be able to do it for yourself, and only then will you understand.”
In the same way, when you talk to someone from the benighted areas of the country that do not yet have Buc-ee’s, they think they know. After all, do they not have gas stations? Are there not Wawas or Sheetz where they live, and are they not basically the same thing?
And the cleanliness. My God, the cleanliness.
The problem, to paraphrase Jules Winnfield, is that Wawa, Sheetz, and every other gas station on the planet are not in the same ballpark as Buc-ee’s. Forget being in the same ballpark; they aren’t in the same league or even the same sport. Saying that Buc-ee’s is a gas station is a bit like saying that Disney World is a children’s park. It’s technically accurate, but the picture someone gets in his mind when you say “children’s park” likely does not include the possibility that what you are discussing is anything remotely as as ostentatious or grandiose as Disney World.
In the same way, the first time you enter a Buc-ee’s, you are frankly not prepared to encounter what you will find inside, because the term “gas station” simply does not encompass the palatial environs of the average Buc-ee’s.
The first thing that will likely floor you upon entering a Buc-ee’s is the size. Somehow, although Buc-ee’s looks like a normal-sized truck stop on the outside, when you walk inside, it’s like walking through a door into Mary Poppins’ carpetbag. Even a modest Buc-ee’s is larger inside than, say, most Kroger stores.
The second thing you’ll notice is that this is definitely, far and away, cleaner than any gas station you’ve ever visited in your life. Every surface inside virtually sparkles. All of the wonderful items for sale (more on that later) are carefully arranged and appropriately placed on the proper rack. And if, like most people, your first stop inside is the restroom, you are in for an even bigger surprise.
The bathrooms at Buc-ee’s are so amazing that they have their own cult following. The bathrooms at Buc-ee’s do not have stalls. Each toilet has its own honest-to-goodness door. To save you the inconvenience of having to even jiggle a door handle to see if it’s locked, each toilet room has a light above it that is red if the room is occupied and green if it is unoccupied. The sinks often will have dividers to provide you with privacy even while washing your hands.
And the cleanliness. My God, the cleanliness.
Every Buc-ee’s store has, on a 24/7 basis, a person whose entire job is to do nothing but clean the bathroom continually, and it shows. You’ll see them in there, working diligently, with nary a complaint or a frown about having to spend their day cleaning up after the excretions of others. Thanks to their efforts, never will you find a soap dispenser that’s even close to being empty or a paper towel dispenser that is either empty or jammed up with poor-quality rubbish.
I can say with some degree of confidence that Louis XIV did not defecate in settings as opulent as the average customer of Buc-ee’s in 2024.
Russia Declares Federal Emergency After Ukrainian Ambush in Kursk Region of Russia [VIDEO] by Miriam Judith
Aug. 9, 2024 7:40 pm – On Friday, Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry declared a “federal-level” emergency in the Kursk region, following a four-day conflict between Russian and Ukrainian forces. This escalation came after a surprise Ukrainian offensive earlier in the week where Ukrainian forces reportedly ambushed the region, taking hundreds of prisoners captive.
While tensions in the war escalate, the U.S. has continued to ramp up its military support for Ukraine over the past year, drawing considerable attention and concern from Russia. This support has included a wide array of military equipment and financial aid aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s defense capabilities against the ongoing war.
Just last month, the U.S. further intensified its engagement by delivering F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, not only amplifying the U.S. role in the conflict but also deepening the antagonism between the two superpowers, further destabilizing the situation in Eastern Europe.
In addition to the F-16s, the U.S. announced today that it will be supplying Ukraine with a “Significant New Military Assistance” package.

“The United States is today sending Ukraine a significant new package of urgently needed weapons and equipment to support its military forces as they defend against Russia’s ongoing attacks. This $125 million package of support, provided under Presidential Drawdown Authority, includes air defense interceptors, munitions for rocket systems and artillery, multi-mission radars, and anti-tank weapons that will help Ukraine protect its troops, its people and its cities from Russian attacks and reinforce its capabilities across the front lines.
This is the tenth security assistance package the President has authorized to help Ukraine since signing the Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act. We will deploy this new assistance as quickly as possible to bolster Ukraine’s defense of its territory and its people. As President Biden has made clear, the United States and the international coalition we have assembled will continue to stand with Ukraine.”
From Russia’s perspective, the U.S.’s escalating military aid to Ukraine could be perceived as an act of aggression that directly threatens Russian security interests. The increased U.S. involvement not only inflames the conflict but also invites potential retaliatory measures from Russia, which may include heightened military responses or other forms of counteraction aimed at protecting its national interests.
The situation in Eastern Europe remains highly volatile, with both Russia and Ukraine engaged in a protracted struggle that shows no sign of immediate resolution. As the U.S. continues to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities, the potential for a more pronounced and dangerous military confrontation grows, raising concerns among international observers about the stability of the region and the potential for broader global implications.
