Zelenskyy Says He Needs ‘Everything’ from Trump in Order to Agree to a Peace Deal
August 14, 2025 Judicial Watch
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that the Supreme Court of the United States has scheduled oral argument for October 8, 2025, in its lawsuit filed on behalf of Congressman Mike Bost and two presidential electors, who are before the court to vindicate their standing to challenge an Illinois law extending Election Day for 14 days beyond the date established by federal law.
On July 22 Judicial Watch announced that it filed its opening brief to the Supreme Court in this case (Rep.Michael J. Bost, Laura Pollastrini, and Susan Sweeney v. The Illinois State Board of Elections and Bernadette Matthews (No. 1:22-cv-02754, 23-2644, 24-568)).
In June, the Supreme Court agreed to hear Judicial Watch’s appeal of the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in this case. The lower courts had denied that Bost and the electors had standing to challenge Illinois’ practice of counting ballots received up to 14 days after Election Day. The Election Day lawsuit was initially filed on May 25, 2022.
The Judicial Watch Supreme Court brief states:
Federal law sets the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November as the federal Election Day.

Candidates have an obvious interest in the lawfulness and fairness of the rules that govern the elections into which they pour their time and resources. They also have an obvious interest “in ensuring that the final vote tally accurately reflects the legally valid votes cast.”

Candidates pour enormous resources into running for election and have an obvious interest in the rules that dictate how long their races will last and how the ballots will be counted. They also have a distinct interest “in ensuring that the final vote tally accurately reflects the legally valid votes cast.”
“Simply put, this is a historic election law challenge. Too many courts have denied candidates their right to challenge unlawful election rules such as the outrageous act of counting ballots that arrive AFTER Election Day. American citizens concerned about election integrity will tune in closely to Judicial Watch’s Supreme Court arguments on October 8,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said.
Judicial Watch is a national leader in voting integrity and voting rights. As part of its work, Judicial Watch assembled a team of highly experienced voting rights attorneys who stopped discriminatory elections in Hawaii, and cleaned up voter rolls across the country, among other achievements.
Robert Popper, a Judicial Watch senior attorney, leads its election law program. Popper was previously in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department, where he managed voting rights investigations, litigations, consent decrees, and settlements in dozens of states.
Paul Clement, who has argued more than 100 cases before the Supreme Court, is representing Congressman Bost and the electors with Judicial Watch before the Supreme Court. Clement is former solicitor general under President George W. Bush from 2005-2008 and is widely regarded as among the top Supreme Court litigators in the country.
T. Russell Nobile, a Judicial Watch senior attorney, is part of Judicial Watch’s voting integrity efforts and focuses on campaign and voting issues, civil rights issues, constitutional law, official misconduct by public institutions and officials, and other issues.
Eric Lee is an attorney at Judicial Watch, where he focuses on enforcing federal and state laws that promote transparency and integrity in the electoral process. Eric graduated with his B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and received his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is licensed to practice in California, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and in federal courts in Illinois and Colorado.
Judicial Watch recently filed a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the Libertarian Party of Mississippi, opposing the State of Mississippi’s attempt to overturn the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit’s decision, which struck down a law allowing ballots received after Election Day to be counted
Federal courts for Oregon, California and Illinois have ruled that Judicial Watch’s lawsuits may proceed against those states to force them to clean their voter rolls.
Judicial Watch announced in May that its work led to the removal of more than five million ineligible names from voter rolls nationwide.

Under Trump Pressure Mexico Extradites Cartel Bosses, Investigates Politicians’ Cartel Ties
Military coup TIERNEY’S REAL NEWS
AUG 17, 2025
A friend of mine sent me an email this morning asking why President Trump didn’t simply “override” Speaker Pelosi and send in the National Guard on January 6, 2021. He did – he instructed the military to send in 10,000 National Guard soldiers – well in advance – but the US MILITARY LEADERSHIP refused his direct orders. I thought everybody knew that!
“Colonel Earl Matthews, who held high-level National Security Council and Pentagon roles during the Trump administration and is now general counsel of the Pentagon, in his 36-page memo and testimony about the events of January 6, 2021, testified that Army Generals Charles Flynn (Michael Flynn’s brother) and General Walter Piatt (and General Milley and Pelosi of course – who were in charge of security at the Capitol) of deliberately delaying the deployment of the National Guard to the U.S. Capitol, despite orders from then-President Trump and urgent pleas from Capitol Police.
Matthews testified that both Generals Flynn and Piatt opposed sending in the Guard during key moments, citing concerns about the “optics” of uniformed military at the Capitol, and recommended instead that Guardsmen take over traffic duties so D.C. police could go to the Capitol.
He described both Generals as “absolute and unmitigated liars” for later denying to Congress that they advised against the deployment and for claiming the Guard was not ready to respond. Matthews called their statements “false and misleading,” “outright perjury,” and said that every D.C. Guard leader was desperate to help but was left “stunned by the delay in deployment.”
General Piatt said that his best military advice would be for the Guard not to deploy, even though Trump had ordered it – and that Piatt and Flynn repeatedly and falsely argued the Guard was not equipped or trained for civil disturbance response.
Matthews testified that the Army produced a “revisionist” and fabricated document—an internal white paper—intended to recast Army leadership’s role in a more favorable light. He asserted Piatt oversaw the creation of this timeline to shield senior officials, which Matthews likened to “Stalinist or North Korean propagandist” tactics.”
Colonel Matthews was a key witness regarding the delayed deployment of the D.C. National Guard on January 6th, 2021. He provided a 36-page memo to the House Select Committee investigating the attack and specifically claimed that General Charles Flynn committed “outright perjury” when he stated he did not express concern about the “optics” of sending the National Guard to the Capitol.
GONE VIRAL: Illinois Woman Arrested After Assaulting Man Then Accuses Officers of Islamophobia For Arresting Her [VIDEO 2:38]
August 17, 2025 Jewish Breaking News
KANE COUNTY, IL — Newly released bodycam footage from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office shows the arrest of Reem M. Al Dhahiry, following an altercation that led to charges of assault.
In the video, Al Dhahiry can be heard repeatedly shouting, “You know I’m a Muslim. Islamophobia! Islamophobic. He tried to kill me! Why’d you touch my breast? Don’t touch my private. Islamophobia!” as deputies restrained her during the arrest.
Deputies reported that Al Dhahiry had allegedly assaulted a man before accusing him of Islamophobia. The officers then intervened, during which Al Dhahiry continued to claim she was being targeted for her religion.
Sheriff’s officials confirmed that Al Dhahiry was charged with assault and taken into custody without serious injury to anyone involved. The case is pending in Kane County court.
The bodycam footage quickly went viral, and the online reaction was fierce. “Every time someone gets arrested now it’s racism or Islamophobia. Just stop breaking the law,” one viewer wrote. Another added, “She said ‘I’m Muslim’ about 20 times like the cops were gonna say ‘Oh sorry, you’re free to go then.’ Give me a break.”
Supporters of the deputies said the video showed officers handling the situation calmly while she resisted. “Cops stayed cool, she’s the one losing her mind,” a commenter posted. Others said the footage exposed a pattern of false claims, with one remarking, “Classic victim card. Scream discrimination, hope the charges disappear.”
Some went even further. “That ain’t Islamophobia, that’s arrest-phobia. She just didn’t wanna wear the cuffs,” one person joked. Another bluntly put it, “If you don’t wanna get touched by police, maybe don’t assault people.”
Many also pointed out how crucial the bodycam footage was, with one commenter saying, “Thank God for cameras. Without this she could’ve made up any story and half the media would’ve run with it.”

Canada to Begin Euthanizing Disabled Citizens Frank Bergman
August 16, 2025
In Canada, the liberal government’s dangerous expansion of euthanasia laws is set to open the floodgates to state-sponsored discrimination against people with disabilities.
For decades, the Canadian government has imposed a Nazi-style lethal ableism.
Over 90% of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted before birth.
Other disabled children often face the same fate.
But the upcoming change, set for 2027, is far worse.
Canada plans to expand its euthanasia policies to include those suffering solely from disability or mental illness.
This move has been met with near-unanimous condemnation from disability groups.
Even the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities has raised alarms.
The group is accusing Canada of engaging in Nazi-style “state-sponsored eugenics.”
Disability rights organizations, including Inclusion Canada, have been sounding the alarm for years, warning that people with physical disabilities are increasingly being pushed toward euthanasia due to the lack of adequate care or support.
Tragically, these warnings have gone ignored by the government.
One harrowing story circulating on X from victim advocate Samantha Smith reveals the horrifying reality of Canada’s slippery slope.
In it, a nurse performed several assisted suicides at a care home, including one case where the family of a mentally disabled man chose euthanasia for him, even though he didn’t want to die.
The man wasn’t terminally ill, wasn’t elderly, and wasn’t dying.
Nevertheless, he was forced into death against his will because his family deemed him expendable.
Smith’s account paints a grim picture: “They held his hand while he told them ‘I’m hungry’ and ‘I’m thirsty.’
“That poor man didn’t understand what was happening to him as he was pumped full of medication that would end his life.”
Despite the nurse’s moral objections, they were told that it was their “legal duty” to carry out the “assisted suicide” procedure.
The nurse couldn’t continue and refused, but Smith points out that not everyone will have the moral strength to resist.
What started as a push for “choice” and “dignity” has turned into a nightmare of coercion and loss of life.
In countries where euthanasia is already legal, such as the Netherlands, 40% of euthanasia deaths occur without the patient’s consent.
In Canada, the situation is no better.
The government has already offered euthanasia to Paralympians who only requested a mobility aid.
Euthanasia has also been carried out on individuals like Alan Nichols, who was euthanized after visiting his doctor with hearing loss.
Leaked documents reveal that Ontario’s euthanasia providers have tracked hundreds of possible criminal violations.
Yet, not one case has been referred to law enforcement.
Canada’s medical establishment is already embracing lethal ableism.
Once euthanasia eligibility expands to include those with disabilities and mental illnesses in 2027, it will likely only get worse.
For now, there is still time to stop this dangerous expansion, but the clock is ticking.
The lives of people with disabilities depend on halting this cruel and unjust eugenics policy before it spreads even further.

Muslims in Dearborn: “This American empire must fall. People are willing to fight and put their lives on the line to bring these Western empires down.” By Pamela Geller
August 16, 2025 – Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan, openly say they want to destroy America.
“This American empire must fall. People are willing to fight and put their lives on the line to bring these Western empires down.”
An attendee at a fundraiser for Middle East Children’s Alliance and poetry night held at the Newora Café in Dearborn Heights stated that while the people of Gaza have achieved victory, the people in the United States have not done enough. He emphasized that change must come, saying, “This American empire has been hurting our people from the beginning.” He added that the “imperial Western powers must fall, and inshallah, they will fall.” He continued, stating that there are “people here who are willing to fight and put their lives on the line to bring these empires down, because they must come down.” The event was organized in conjunction with the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM). A video report of the fundraiser was posted by HB Productions on YouTube on March 19, 2025.
Fundraiser Attendee: “The message for the people of Gaza is going to be more of the message that should be sent to the people here, in that, they have achieved victory, we haven’t done anywhere near enough. And the people here, I promise you, we do feel ashamed. We do feel like we’re not doing enough. We do feel like change needs to come, because change must come. And in the form that it must come is that this empire, the American empire that’s been hurting our people since the beginning, the imperial Western powers that have been hurting our people since the beginning, they must fall. And inshallah, inshallah, they will fall. And my message to people of Gaza and oppressed people across the world is that there are people here, both young and old, who are going to be willing to fight and are willing to put their lives and everything they can on the line to bring these empires down. Because they must come down.”
[Ed.: IMHO, we need to “genocide” them.

Putin and Trump fail to reach Ukraine peace deal Connor Stringer
US president says discussions with Russian counterpart ‘extremely productive’ but ‘no deal’ made
16 August 2025 2:55am BST Telegraph
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin failed to reach a deal to end the war in Ukraine after three hours of high-stakes talks in Alaska.
“We haven’t quite got there, but we’ve made some headway,” the US president said.
Mr Trump insisted at a press conference at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage: “We had an extremely productive meeting, and many points were agreed to.
“There are just a very few that are left. Some are not that significant. One is probably the most significant, but we have a very good chance of getting there.”
He did not specify which barriers had been overcome, nor which remained.
It is now “up to Volodymyr Zelensky”, the Ukrainian president, to make peace, he said. “There’s no deal until there’s a deal.”
Putin, who travelled to the US for the first time in a decade, was allowed to open the press conference, saying the war in Ukraine was a “tragedy for us and a terrible wound”.
He referred to Mr Trump as a “dear neighbour” with whom he could do business, while the US president said: “I’ve always had a fantastic relationship with President Putin, with Vladimir.”
But the leaders departed the stage after just 12 minutes without taking any questions in a sign that, for all the warm words, little tangible progress had been made.
Putin, who spoke for twice as long as Mr Trump, also had the last word, suggesting – in English – that the pair would meet “next time in Moscow”.
“Ooh, that’s an interesting one,” Mr. Trump replied. “I don’t know. I’ll get a little heat on that one, but I could see it possibly happening.”
It was an abrupt ending to an otherwise friendly meeting that began when Mr Trump greeted the Russian leader with a smile and an outstretched hand as he disembarked his private aircraft.
The leaders walked down respective red carpets and Mr Trump clapped as the Russian president approached, before they shared a warm embrace.
Standing side by side on the tarmac in front of the travelling press pool, Putin faced a barrage of questions about his war in Ukraine.
Under the roar of a US military flyover, the Russian leader shrugged and gestured to his ear, suggesting that he could not hear the reporters who asked if he would stop killing Ukrainian civilians.
The White House unexpectedly announced that the joint press briefing would go ahead earlier than planned.
Hundreds of journalists crammed into the room, with Russian media on one side and Western journalists on the other.
An expanded bilateral meeting, which had been planned to take place over lunch with the president’s economic advisers, was scrapped.
During his six-hour and 45-minute flight to Alaska, the US president had warned that he would “walk” if the meeting did not go to plan.
But after three hours of discussions, he appeared on stage flanked by Putin, whom he referred to at one point as “the boss”.
Towards the end of the conference, Mr Trump said he would contact Mr Zelensky and other European leaders to discuss the progress of the talks.
“I will call up the various people that I think are appropriate, and of course, call up President Zelensky and tell them about today’s meeting. It’s ultimately up to them,” he said.
Mr Trump’s talks with Putin were initially intended to be one-on-one, but the White House announced both leaders would be accompanied by two of their advisers while Mr Trump was mid-flight.Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, and Steve Witkoff, the US special envoy who has been credited with bringing Putin to America, flanked the president.
Oleksandr Merezhko, the chairman of the Ukrainian parliament’s foreign affairs committee, said the negotiations to end the war in Ukraine had proved a “failure” as Mr Trump failed to secure a ceasefire.
Mr Merezhko told The New York Times that Putin had appeared as an equal to the US leader.
“He won the informational war… He used Trump to show that he is not isolated,” he said.
Mr Trump also faced criticism from Democrats and US media who accused the president of legitimising Putin and the war with the welcome he afforded him.
While Mr Trump failed to produce any details about a path to peace, The Telegraph on Friday revealed that Britain is poised to put “boots on the ground” in Ukraine within a week of a ceasefire being declared.
Plans have been made for hundreds of British military trainers and engineers to enter the country if fighting pauses, to help rebuild Ukraine’s armed forces.
Sir Keir Starmer has also approved the use of RAF fighter jets to help police the skies over Ukraine with allies to ensure Russia does not breach any truce.
It would mark a significant escalation in Britain’s role in helping Kyiv see off the Russian threat towards Ukraine, bringing with it risks for those deployed.
European allies, who have been working on the plans for months under a partnership dubbed the “coalition of the willing”, pushed ahead with renewed urgency this week in anticipation of the summit.
