Thousands of prominent political and business figures are congregating in Davos, Switzerland, this week for the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, as critics accused them of “centralizing power into the possession of hand-picked global elites.”
Thousands of prominent political and business figures are congregating in Davos, Switzerland, this week for the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), whose theme, “Cooperation in a Fragmented World,” focuses on the “cost of living crisis.”
In recent years, the WEF and its founder and chairperson, German engineer and economist Klaus Schwab, generated controversy by promoting ideas such as the “The Great Reset” and the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
In promoting ”The Great Reset” in 2020, Schwab said the COVID-19 “pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world.”
The WEF’s 2016 vision for the future — “Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better” — has also raised eyebrows.

In an interview with The Defender, Francis Boyle, J.D., Ph.D., bioweapons expert and professor of international law at the University of Illinois, said the World Health Organization’s (WHO) latest proposals may violate international law. Boyle called for U.S. federal and state governments to exit the WHO immediately.
Secretive negotiations took place this week in Geneva, Switzerland, to discuss proposed amendments to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) International Health Regulations (IHR), considered a binding instrument of international law.
Similar negotiations took place last month for drafting a new WHO pandemic treaty.
While the two are often conflated, the proposed IHR amendments and the proposed pandemic treaty represent two separate but related sets of proposals that would fundamentally alter the WHO’s ability to respond to “public health emergencies” throughout the world — and, critics warn, significantly strip nations of their sovereignty.
According to author and researcher James Roguski, these two proposals would transform the WHO from an advisory organization to a global governing body whose policies would be legally binding.

SATURDAY, JAN 21, 2023 – 02:30 PM – In November 2021 I wrote a piece entitled “Have We Finally Reached Peak Davos?” This article was scarily spot on. When you’ve written as much as I have over the past five years, however, it’s easy to look back and point at how prescient you were.
Even if you’ve gotten a whole lotta stuff wrong, which I have.
That particular article, though, was nearly point-for-point correct in assessing the state of The Davos Crowd’s Great Reset project.
I wrote a Twitter thread about this the other day to pound the next few nails in Davos’ coffin before the opening of this year’s convocation of clueless globalists.

… “So here we are as Davos 2023 winds down and it’s pretty obvious, watching the proceedings, that their entire edifice built on a crude admixture of psychopathy and hubris is tumbling down.
And it’s not only because more of us can see them for what they are, cheap communists in expensive suits, but because there are stark divisions forming within their own ranks.
The problem, however, for most of the committed Davosians is that they still live in the wine-and-cheese-filled amniotic sack of this Swiss Alps version of Oz. They don’t see the gathering storm barreling down the yellow brick road as anything more threatening than a single mosquito is to a cow.
As anyone who has lived in central Florida or studied its cattle industry knows, a few million mosquitos can exsanguinate a cow in a matter of days.

Davos had come out from behind the curtain willingly to declare themselves the saviors of humanity through their Fuhrer’s nutty ideas about transhumanism, 15-minute cities, eating bugs, and renting your life from a central authority.
And it was easy to build a counter-narrative to this insanity that permeated into the zeitgeist by just pointing your finger and laughing at them.”

The World Economic Forum guest said the situation is more dire than people realize and claimed the current output of greenhouse gases is sending heat into the atmosphere that is equivalent to ‘600,000 Hiroshima’ bombs ever day.
Gore also pointed to ‘xenophobia’ and ‘political authoritarian trends’ as contributors to the ongoing climate issues and increase in refugees.

Climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore recently went on an “unhinged” rant on the dangers of climate change at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Gore’s speech, which involved him yelling about climate change “boiling the oceans,” causing freak weather occurrences like “rain bombs” and ultimately affecting humanity’s ability for “self-governance,” made for quite the spectacle on the world stage and on social media.
The former U.S. leader and current WEF agenda contributor spoke on the Davos stage in front of the global community urging drastic action on protecting the environment and combating climate change.
In an attention-grabbing portion of his speech, an animated Gore went into detail about the extreme problems that would befall global civilization if humans continued to treat Earth’s atmosphere as an “open air sewer.”
He asked, “People are familiar with that thin blue line that the astronauts bring back in their pictures from space? That’s the part of the atmosphere that has oxygen, the troposphere, and it’s only five to seven kilometers thick. That’s what we’re using as an open sewer.”

January 19, 2023 – Maybe you are already sick and tired of all the attention being paid to the elites meeting in Davos for the annual World Economic Forum gathering. They are, after all, a pretty repulsive bunch, a collection of self-involved, arrogant elitists, what CDR Salamander calls a “wannabe gaggle of quasi-oligarchs and autocrat throne sniffers” (hat tip: Glenn Reynolds).
But for all their hypocrisy (flying in on hundreds of private jets while demanding that the rest of us give up our internal combustion engines, dining on steak as they demand we eat bugs, and driving up the price of hookers), they are able to shape politics and policy all over the world. In their own minds, they may be the natural aristocracy that the lesser orders of humanity need to be guided by, but in reality, they are delusional, intoxicated by their collective status and power, and therefore completely unaware of the limitations of their minds — not to mention the fact that their founder and fearless leader does an excellent version of a Bond villain.
Tucker Carlson led off his Wednesday edition of the top-rated program on cable news with a spectacularly funny and cutting takedown of their false pride and the disasters that they have brought on and then covered up. The analogy to the “man behind the curtain” in the Wizard of Oz was perhaps too obvious for Tucker to indulge in, but it certainly seems apt. The Great Reset so far has been a catastrophe.

There are a lot of VVIP’s here — Very Very Important People — from billionaires to oligarchs to heads of state.
But the boss of them all is a child actor named Greta Thunberg.
She’s actually not a child — she’s 20 years old now — but she still looks 13. And that’s her power: a child prophet condemning us with a scowl. Her most famous moment was shouting “How dare you!” at the world.
So why would an environmentalist scold like that come to a luxury, private jet conference with the world’s biggest industrialists?
Is she just a child actor? Who writes her lines? And why should anyone listen to a high school drop-out on complex scientific and economic questions?
Those are just some of the dozens of questions we peppered her with, over the course of a 20-minute walking interview.
No-one has ever asked Greta tough questions before — as you can see, the mainstream media who were walking with us asked her nothing but softballs, and even “defended” her from our questions that they didn’t like.
I dare say this one interview had more unscripted questions for her than she’s ever faced in her entire life.

19 January 2023 – Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg slammed business and political leaders attending the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday, saying it was ‘absurd’ to listen to them while they fueled ‘the destruction of the planet’.
Two days after police briefly detained her at a protest against a coal mine in Germany, Thunberg and other young campaigners took part in a debate on the sidelines of the summit of global investors, CEOs and political leaders in the Swiss Alps.
‘We are right now in Davos where (there are) basically the people who are mostly fueling the destruction of the planet,’ the 20-year-old said, explaining that the world should not rely on them ‘for solving our problems’.
She added that it was ‘absurd … we seem to be listening to them rather than the people who are actually affected by the climate crisis’.

Jan 18, 2023 – As the World Economic Forum‘s Annual Meeting takes place in Davos this week, many have questioned the legitimacy of the unelected group of elites hellbent on telling the people of the world how to live their lives.
Among those echoing such sentiments is Twitter CEO Elon Musk, who warned that the WEF might be going too far in its incessant push to entirely remake global economies and societies to mitigate what is sees as imminent planetary doom.
“WEF is increasingly becoming an unelected world government that the people never asked for and don’t want,” Musk tweeted.
His comments came in response to a video of WEF founder Klaus Schwab and other elites discussing the organization’s new “Global Collaboration Village” in the Metaverse, which is a virtual world being constructed by Meta, parent company of Facebook.

Wray is famous for running a coup against the sitting president of the United States and lying about it to Congress.

We also now know that Chris Wray was running FBI operatives in the Trump crowds on January 6th in Washington DC.

But Chris Wray has not learned a thing.

Tony Blair, a former prime minister of the United Kingdom, has advocated for the development of “national digital infrastructure” to facilitate the distribution of new vaccines and to determine who is vaccinated or who is not for future pandemics.
“You need to know who’s been vaccinated and who hasn’t been,” said Blair at the WEF summit. “Some of the vaccines that will come on down the line will be multiple. There will be multiple shots. So you’ve got to have reasons to do with healthcare more generally. But certainly, for a pandemic or for vaccines, you’ve got to have a proper digital infrastructure. And many countries don’t have that and most countries don’t have that.”

“I Am Taking This Very Seriously”: BlackRock’s Larry Fink Struggles With “Demonized” ESG Narrative BY TYLER DURDEN
JAN 18, 2023 – 05:45 AM – BlackRock, the world’s biggest asset manager, has faced increasing backlash about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing. A handful of US states have pulled billions of dollars from BlackRock funds over accusations of “greenwashing,” hurting the fossil fuel industry and turbocharging America’s “woke” culture.
On Tuesday, BlackRock’s Larry Fink told Bloomberg TV at the World Economic Forum in Davos that ESG investing has been tarnished:
“Let’s be clear, the narrative is ugly, the narrative is creating this huge polarization. “
Fink continued:
“We are trying to address the misconceptions. It’s hard because it’s not business any more, they’re doing it in a personal way. And for the first time in my professional career, attacks are now personal. They’re trying to demonize the issues.”
The Republican crusade, including states such as Florida, Louisiana, and Missouri, said they would pull funds out of BlackRock, citing that the asset manager’s ESG efforts could impact investor returns.
In December, Florida made the most significant withdrawal, pulling $2 billion from BlackRock.
“Using our cash to fund BlackRock’s social-engineering project isn’t something Florida ever signed up for.
“It’s got nothing to do with maximizing returns and is the opposite of what an asset manager is paid to do,” Jimmy Patronis, Florida’s chief financial officer, said in a recent statement.
Meanwhile, Texas Lt. Gov Dan Patrick has urged state officials to label BlackRock as a hostile entity for its action in the attempt to crush the oil and gas industry.
BlackRock is “capriciously discriminating'” against fossil fuel firms, Patrick said as he called for the asset manager to be added to the list of financial firms that “boycott” fossil fuels.
Several other states are pushing back on BlackRock.

JAN 18, 2023 – 03:25 PM – With the World Economic Forum in Davos in full swing, and media muppets suggesting that things like the forum’s “Great Reset’, banning gas stoves, and eating bugs are nothing more than conspiracy theories cooked up by conservatives, it seems that the national media – both large and small, is now fixated on the event in order to take cues from the world’s increasingly insane ‘elite.’
Former New York Times editor Jill Abramson suggested that the event – which was previously given little coverage by the ‘paper of record,’ was – and is, “a corrupt circle-jerk.”
“I noticed (after I was gone), much more ‘news’ coverage in the Times of Davos, quoting the attendees and speakers at those endless panels. Of course, the coverage was a sweetener to flatter the CEOs by seeing their names in the NYT so that they would then speak at high-dollar NYT conferences and – of course – get phony news stories from the conferences into the paper.”
“It was — and is, a corrupt circle jerk,” Abramson told Semafor EIC (“Buzzfeed”) Ben Smith.
And while the WEF has tamped down prognostications involving bug-eating and banning gas stoves, it’s still extremely creepy.
As Michael Snyder suggests in The Most Important News, Davos may have even reached “peak creepy.”
Why do people think that it is creepy that a group of “select human beings” have gathered in Davos, Switzerland to shape the agenda of the entire planet? Could it be because many of the attendees are horny aging narcissists that truly believe that they are “saving the world”? During the day they listen to speeches about diversity, equality and inclusion, and then at night many of them pay young women to perform degrading sex acts. But since they have lots of money, they are able to pay the “sex workers” very well. Of course a lot of them flew into Davos on carbon-spewing private jets, but then they have the gall to lecture the rest of us about turning up our thermostats a little bit too much in the middle of the winter. Sadly, no matter what these elitists do, the mainstream media will continue to portray them as “saviors” that are justifiably telling the rest of us how to live our lives.
