Oh no, not another CV-XIX uptick on our way to “a very dark winter” (according to the ever inspiring Joe Biden).
Now if only masks and distancing actually worked to lessen the threat of the dreaded coronavirus. Sorry, but no. Even in the case of a properly fitted N95 mask, a 0.3 µm coronavirus can still permeate the mask, and common cloth masks are far more permeable. BYW, that’s three tenths of a micrometer, or millionth of a meter. That’s about as small as it gets before you go sub-atomic.
All these efforts to “flatten the curve” have accomplished very little, or if anything seem to be exacerbating the problem. Belgium, for instance, had one of the strictest quarantines and extremely stringent rules regarding the use of masks and yet, the country has the second-highest mortality rate in the world.
In contrast, we have the Swedish model, well-known for minimal use of masks, lax social distancing policies and a determination to keep its economy open. Sweden has reported few new actual cases and almost no new deaths.
You won’t hear these reports from the legacy mainstream media, nor from our so-called experts who as often as not have a vested interest in Big Pharma vaccine initiatives. You need to actually do a little research on your own to tweeze out this info, but it’s there if you look deeply enough.
Not saying our little gift from China isn’t a threat to folks with co-morbidities or otherwise compromised immune systems, but with a 99+% survival rate, I contend grinding our economy into the dirt is doing far more damage than this virus ever could.
