Member of Facebook’s Oversight Board: ‘Free Speech Is Not An Absolute Human Right’ (Video)

So much for that whole First Amendment thing.  According to Helle Thorning-Schmidt, a former Prime Minister of Denmark and a current member of Facebook’s Oversight (read, “Censorship”) Board — the same body that upheld a two-year ban of former President Donald Trump — free speech is “not an absolute human right.”

MY TAKE: This is just the sort of skewed left-think gibberish one might expect to hear from a liberal former Prime Minister of a quasi-socialist Scandinavian country. Having been raised and inculcated in a nation with no Constitutional guarantee of free speech of its own (and clearly hired by the Zuck for the purpose of lending false gravitas to his so-called “Oversight Board”), this chick fails to elucidate how one can ever hope to “balance free speech with other human rights” if we’re not allowed to openly talk about them.

It’s interesting how lefties, who love to prattle on about how truth is relative and subjective (“Speak your truth to the world”) can in the same breath presume to authoritatively adjudicate what is “disinformation” and what is not.

And of course, what is NOT considered “authoritative” by these logic-impaired nincompoops is anything having to do with conservative and/or Christian values. No no no, such aberrant points of view simply must be expunged from social media and the greater world of public discourse because… well, liberals don’t want to it.

It’s been said, “Scratch a liberal, find a tyrant.” These days, it’s tempting to adopt the saying whole-cloth, except I recall having some liberal friends about whom I would never make such a claim. They’re really more like whiny little bitches.
