This is what happens when insipid liberals, all full of themselves for stealing an election, cheating their way into control of both houses of Congress, and desperately trying to force their precious socialist agenda upon the whole of America — eventually they overplay their hand and wake the sleeping giant.
A quick look at any political demographic map of the US reveals that outside of a few densely-populated liberal cities and counties, the vast majority of America leans to the right. And conservatives, by their very nature, are reluctant to browbeat their ideological opponents, preferring to live and let live.
Unfortunately, the Marxist leftists do not believe in such a laissez-faire approach, nor do they believe in the Constitution and the founding principle of States’ Rights. Hence their collective apoplexy over the Governors of Texas and Mississippi today simultaneously announcing that their states would be dropping the ‘Ronasteria, rescinding their China bug mandates. How dare these deplorable governors buck the “woke” agenda! The nerve!
Ah, but thanks to the wisdom of the Founders for creating a system of independent nation-states within a representative republic structure, these Governors in fact retain the Constitutional power to nullify federal mandates if they so choose. and gloriously, they are beginning to do so with this repudiation of the Gates/Fauci doctrine.
No more obligatory masking, no more imposed social distancing, no more economy-destroying lockdowns and soul-destroying quarantines of the healthy, and an end to pandering to teachers’ unions by reopening schools for a generation of psychologically exhausted kids… IOW, the freedom to practice completely voluntary virus-mitigating behavior if individuals so choose, but otherwise back to business as usual.
It’s a beautiful thing to witness. And tomorrow I’ll be writing a short email to Indiana’s Gov Holcomb saying it’s time to follow Texas and Mississippi’s lead.
