On Wednesday Georgia election operatives Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea “Shaye” Moss sued The Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft and Joe Hoft for allegedly conducting a “campaign of lies” against the two women that led to online and in-person harassment against the two women.
We learned this news earlier today from The New York Times, Washington Post, NBC News, Yahoo, Reuters and several others who were tipped off on the news before it went public.
The organization behind the lawsuit is called Protect Democracy, a large far-left political organization.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released the first batch of documents related to Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine after a federal judge ordered that they must comply with a massive Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that was filed by a government accountability group called Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency.
The esteemed group of more than 30 professors and scientists asked the federal government to share any and all data that factored into the agency’s hasty decision to grant Pfizer’s experimental mRNA vaccine an emergency use authorization (EUA) – which amounts to a trove of over 329,000 documents.

Authoritarian governments use Huawei’s technology to censor journalists, according to an internet freedom watchdog.
Researchers at Top10VPN determined that 17 of the 69 countries studied use the Chinese telecom giant’s hardware to enforce censorship laws. Cuba uses Huawei’s “middlebox” devices to censor stories that criticize the country’s communist regime. In Burundi, the government blocks media outlets that have criticized the president. Fifteen other countries use Huawei hardware specifically to censor news, the report found.
Huawei is deeply embedded in internet networks across the world, particularly in countries with close economic ties to China. Huawei’s founder is a member of the Chinese Communist Party. Through its Belt and Road Initiative, China has pushed to integrate technology from state-backed companies like Huawei into foreign networks. Huawei’s involvement in censorship regimes suggests China is finding common ground with authoritarians across the globe.

Israel’s Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a petition by rights groups seeking to repeal temporary measures allowing the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) to use mobile phone tracing to curb the spread of the new COVID-19 variant.
Israeli officials say the phone tracking measure, which is set to expire on Thursday but could be extended, will only be used to locate confirmed or suspected carriers of the new and potentially more contagious Omicron variant and stop its transmission.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who recently visited Israel and the Palestinian Authority, told the Security Council Tuesday that Israel’s settlement building in Judea and Samaria is preventing any chance for a negotiated resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“U.S. disapproval of settlement expansion goes back decades,” she said. “This is nothing new for us. But the practice has reached a critical juncture, and it is now undermining even the very viability of a negotiated two-state solution.”

This view became acceptable among some Israelis and American Jews, at least until the Jews were expelled (euphemistically called “unilateral disengagement”) from Gaza in August 2005. [2]
