The US Army is conducting a two-week “guerrilla warfare exercise” in rural North Carolina focused on battling “freedom fighters” and putting down a secessionist movement.
The exercise comes right as the Justice Department under Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the creation of a new “domestic terrorism unit” to go after American citizens as terrorists.
The exercise also comes after Army General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, embraced indoctrinating the military with critical race theory propaganda to help soldiers understand the “white rage” that led to Jan 6.
Though such drills are nothing new, they’re taking on new significance with the DC regime launching their new Domestic War On Terror.
A “realistic” guerrilla war will be fought across two dozen North Carolina counties this month, with young soldiers battling seasoned “freedom fighters,” according to the U.S. Army.
The two-week “unconventional warfare exercise” will be staged Jan. 22-Feb. 4 on privately owned land. And it will be realistic enough to include the sounds of gunfire (blanks) and flares, the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School said in a news release.

“The political elite have changed their tune” is about as self-evident a truth as single men in possession of large fortunes wanting wives. Every year, spring returns to melt the snow; every time there’s a bid to protect big business, it will be signed by Sen. Mitch McConnell; and every election season, opinions that were anathema one month ago sprout from the unlikeliest of lips.
As TAC managing editor Micah Meadowcroft has pointed out, we should be wary of Democrats who have suddenly begun to sound centrist. We should also be wary of those just to the right of center, who appear, at last, to have discovered their spines—particularly on matters of Covid-19 policy. After just under two years of browbeating from their voters back home, the grand ole party has only flipped the script on Covid policy now because their Democratic betters have decided “endemic” is suddenly cool and fun. (Remember, the Church of Science only appoints woke priests, but that doesn’t stop Republicans from trying to earn entry.)
A bit like the Baptist church, the Republican party’s problem is not its failure to walk in lockstep on Covid policy, it’s that its step is always a good 30 yards behind, trying to catch up. Take the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for example. It took most level-headed people about a month after March 2020 to notice CDC guidance was more often grounded in politics than actual science: masks don’t work, now they do, now you’re a criminal if you pull yours below your nostrils.
By the time The American Conservative reported on Israel’s natural immunity discovery back in September 2021, which showed previous infection was better protection against the virus than getting the vaccine, it wasn’t abnormal for those looking for serious studies to look beyond the CDC. Still, it took most Republicans in Congress until this week to allow themselves to say natural immunity provides better protection than vaccines—but only because the CDC has said so. (Florida’s Ron DeSantis and a handful of state houses, meanwhile, moved on this months ago.)

Then-Secretary of State Colin Powell is given credit for popularizing the “Pottery Barn” rule of foreign policy. Though he denies using that exact phrase, in arguing against what became the disastrous 2003 US attack on Iraq Powell made the point that, as in Pottery Barn, “if you break it, you own it.”
Bush and his neocons – ironically with the help of Colin Powell himself – did indeed break Iraq and the American people as a result “owned” Iraq for the subsequent 22 years (and counting). It was an idiotic war and, as the late former NSA chief Gen. Bill Odom predicted, turned out to be “the greatest strategic disaster in American history.”
Attacking and destroying Iraq – and executing its leader – not only had no value in any conceivable manner to the United States, it had negative value. In taking responsibility for Iraq’s future, the US government obligated the American people to pick up the tab for a million ransacked Pottery Barns.
There was no way out. Only constant maneuvering and manipulation to desperately demonstrate the impossible – that the move had any value or even made any sense.
So it is with Ukraine. In 2014 the Obama/Biden Administration managed to finish what Bush’s neocons started a decade before. With the US-backed overthrow of the Ukrainian government that year, the US came to “own” what no one in their right mind would ever seek: an economic basket case of a country with a political/business class whose corruption is the stuff of legend.
Rather than admit what a colossal blunder the whole thing had been, the US foreign policy establishment doubled down.

Historic Peaceful Rally To Defeat Mandates And Medical Tyranny By Ginny Garner
An estimated 35,000 protestors participated in the Defeat the Mandates rally in Washington DC on January 23rd. The event was sponsored by Children’s Health Defense (CHD), Vaccine Safety Research Foundation, Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance, and World Council for Health.
Speakers included Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Del Bigtree, Drs. Robert Malone, Peter McCullough, Pierre Kory, and Steve Kirsch.
Fear of being labelled a terrorist, fear of violence and the cold weather undoubtedly kept many people away. RFK Jr. said any violence would be initiated by the government. The feds were reportedly hunting for extremists but the event was peaceful. Rally organizers informed their supporters they’d been told by the DC Mayor that only two porta pottys and two food trucks would be provided, which would certainly keep a lot of people away. Instead there was a long row of porta pottys and many food trucks were lined up in front of the Washington Monument. Aside from five police on horses and two snipers on top of the Lincoln Memorial and helicopters circling above the crowd, security on the ground was low key.
Red haired libertarian comedian PJ Sears hosted the event. The lineup of participating doctors in back of the podium in their white lab coats was a powerful sight. They represented 17,000 doctors, and one speaker noted they outnumbered the CDC and NIH. OAN and NTD News were on the scene reporting. There was a minute of silence to remember those killed or injured by the shots. Kevin Jenkins cited the crucifixion of Christ and said the shot mandates are the tyranny of our time.

Yaravam ben Nevat had tremendous spiritual potential. He risked his life and took a public stand against Shlomo HaMelech for the sake of Hashem’s honor. Because of this Hashem chose Yaravam to be the king of the ten tribes when He split Israel into two kingdoms.
Once he rose to power, however, Yaravam quickly turned bad. He feared that the regular Jewish pilgrimages to Jerusalem would render his kingdom inferior, and eventually lead to its dissolution. In order to strengthen his political position, Yaravam placed two golden calves in his territory to serve as substitutes for the Beis Hamikdash. To ensure that those who learned anything from history wouldn’t torpedo his plans, he also set up military checkpoints to prevent his citizens from ascending to the Beis Hamikdash.
He didn’t “force” the Jews to serve the golden calves, but he didn’t give them much choice if they wanted to remain part of society, either.
