Xi Orders Military to Prepare for War, Unveils New Hypersonic Missile By Andrew Thornebrooke

Communist Party (CCP) leader Xi Jinping is ordering China’s military to comprehensively strengthen its preparations for war, even as the regime reveals its latest hypersonic weapon.

Xi said that the Party’s military branch must train for any war and be prepared for unforeseen conflicts.

Final Election Update: The Forecast Is More Or Less Back Where It Started By Nate Silver

Republicans are favored in the House. The Senate is more competitive.

When we launched our midterms forecast on June 30, Republicans had a 53 percent chance of taking over the Senate from Democrats, and an 87 percent chance of taking over the House.

We could almost have turned our servers off and let that forecast stand. Today, in our final forecast of the cycle, Republicans have a 59 percent chance of winning the Senate and an 84 percent chance of winning the House.

Before I dig deeper into this ostensible stability, a few words about the probabilistic nature of our forecast.

First, let’s talk a bit more about that final GOP Senate number, 59 percent. It’s in an annoying zone as far as I’m concerned. If I met you on the street, I wouldn’t know how to describe the race. It’s on the brink between a toss-up and one that we say leans toward Republicans. And to make matters more confusing, that 59 percent figure comes from our Deluxe forecast, which includes the input of human expert forecasters like the Cook Political Report. The Lite forecast (essentially a “polls only” version) and the Classic forecast (polls plus other objective indicators) have Republicans as just 50 and 51 percent “favorites,” respectively.

I don’t want to blow off that 59 percent number. Deluxe is supposed to be the most accurate version of our model. To be blunt, 59 percent is enough of an edge that if you offered to let me bet on Republicans at even money, I’d take it. (If I bet on politics, that is. Which I don’t.) Still, Democrats holding the Senate, or the race coming down to a runoff in Georgia, would not be surprising in the least.

Let’s remember who Elon Musk is. He’s a guy who got very rich peddling technofuturism to elites while cashing in on government subsidies. He’s a throwback to a libertarian Silicon Valley and he believes in free speech and debate… in principle.

The Joe Rogan political wing likes the idea of speech. It likes that speech to be on its own terms and it wants to be in charge. It likes controversy, but the kind it agrees with, and that makes it money.

Musk has his own balancing act, trying to make Twitter profitable after spending an incomprehensible fortune on it, which means not cutting off ad revenue, while courting a fan base that thinks of him as a heroic figure. He needs that fan base to inject money into it, beginning with a Twitter Blue subscription, while impressing them with his innovation.

Old Twitter didn’t have a balancing act. It leaned very hard into pandering to the leftist elites who kept it a ‘notable platform’. Musk’s balancing act is much more complicated. His bias isn’t reflexive, but it’s going to depend on building alliances with some remaining Twitter personnel, with tech industry investors, and advertisers, and with his fan base, who all want different things.

Beneath Musk’s trolling are these basic realities. And the trolling is a useful distraction from coming to terms with it. Twitter will be a more free platform, but it won’t be a truly free one. It will be a monetized one. And the best way to monetize it will be to convince everyone that they’re getting something while pitting them against each other.

U.S. Navy SEAL Derrick Van Orden flips a Democrat seat in the US House to the GOP.

American Military News reports:

U.S. Navy SEAL veteran Derrick Van Orden has flipped a Wisconsin congressional seat to Republicans as that party edges closer to control of the House of Representatives.

The SEAL veteran defeated Democratic state Sen. Brad Pfaff in a contest for the open seat left behind by retiring Democratic Rep. Ron Kind, who had held the seat since 1997, the Associated Press reported.

Van Orden led Pfaff by 4 points Tuesday afternoon with 96 percent of votes reported, according to results reported by the Associated Press.

The flip of a Democrat-held seat comes as Republicans are hopeful to flip control of the House of Representatives.

The SEAL veteran won a district that has recently trended toward Republicans on the western border of Wisconsin, a state narrowly divided between Democrats and Republicans.

Van Orden joined the Navy when he was 18 and served 26 years before retiring as a senior chief in the SEALs, having been deployed into combat five times, according to his website. He was also one of several active-duty SEALs to appear in the 2012 film “Act of Valor.”

We Caught Them Again: TGP Catches Late-Night Operatives Moving Van-Loads of Suspicious Ballots Way After Legal Deadline in Detroit, Michigan Ben Wetmore

Michigan polls closed at 8:00PM yesterday, election day 2022. The results strongly favoring Democrats shocked the pollsters and prognosticators, who all predicted some degree of a ‘red wave’ that never materialized.

The results directly conflict with the perception by many campaign professionals, pollsters, and those in the media that were predicting strong Republican gains.

But of course nothing was done in response to the 2020 voter fraud well-documented by outlets like the Gateway Pundit. In fact, the Republicans in Michigan even made it easier to cheat by allowing clerks two extra days to ‘process’ ballots, giving potential bad actor clerks more time to cheat. This is in addition to the widespread observations of major problems with voting machines.

The journey of a ballot once cast by a legitimate and legal voter is supposed to be the collection in a poll box, delivery to the clerk who then verifies the voter is a registered, legal voter in the state’s Qualified Voter File, known as the “QVF”, the signature of the voter is checked against the one on file, and the ballot is checked for any defects. City of Detroit whistleblower Jessy Jacob came forward in 2020 to say that there were no ballots that had to be processed after 9;00PM on election night because the process was so quick for the few remaining ballots that came in close to the deadline.

And as mentioned before, clerks have had two whole extra days to count ballots, meaning that there should have been almost none that came in late.

Ballots are counted in a particular order. Absentees are counted first, then those collected on election day by in-person voters, and then any late-arriving ballots. There is little to no reason for ballots to arrive late. There is certainly no legitimate reason short of fraud for tens of thousands of ballots to arrive and start processing hours after the deadline for them to be collected.

Skepticism in and of itself makes one a “denier.” One can have well founded, incrementalist concerns about election integrity, or one can believe every allegation ever made about systemic election fraud, but there’s no room for such a continuum. According to PBS, all these folks are “election deniers.”

Characterizing anyone concerned about election integrity as an “election denier” is manipulative and deceptive, and with rare exceptions, every major news network is doing it. The pervasive deception practiced by the national media throughout the Trump presidency and ever since, in addition to being deliberately manipulative, is designed to cause profound election consequences. We know it was coordinated; we know it was effective. It still is. And all of it designed to elect Democrats and defeat Republicans. Does that constitute “rigging” an election, and if not, why not?

Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor and Democratic U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman predicted Monday that his Republican rival Dr. Mehmet Oz will take an early lead in their contest as returns come in on Election Day.

A press release was issued today, on the eve of the 2022 Midterm Election.

Alameda County Republican Party Election Integrity Committee Details Failures by Registrar of Voters

On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, eight members of the Alameda County Republican Party Election Integrity Committee testified at the regular meeting of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors concerning the serious problems relating to security of the vote in the upcoming November 8 election. The testimony was presented in connection with a matter being taken up by the County Board in closed session. The Board had received a letter from Jason Bezis, attorney for the Alameda County Taxpayers Association threatening legal action if the Registrar of Voters continued to deny observers “sufficiently close access” to ballot processing and making the chain of custody of ballots “open to the public.” Election law specifies that observers must be provided “sufficiently close access” to observe the processing of ballots. Some of the speakers, including candidate for State Assembly Mindy Pechenuk, even called for the removal of Tim Dupuis as Registrar of Voters.

Here is a listing of the failures observed:

Observers have not been allowed “sufficiently close access” to view opening of envelopes and inspection of ballots. They have to watch through a window 15 to 25 feet away.
When observers have asked to see where ballots are brought in from the drop boxes and from the U.S. Postal Service, they have not been allowed to do so. Similarly, observers are not allowed to observe how ballots are stored prior to being processed.
Alameda County has 56 ballot drop boxes. According to the Secretary of State’s directive they should each have a video monitor, “if feasible.” According to Deputy Registrar Cynthia Cornejo not one of the 56 drop boxes has a video monitor. This is not the case in other California counties.
Alameda County Registrar of Voters has a contract with Konnech Corp. which collects data on election workers. Its CEO was just arrested for transferring data on election workers in Los Angeles County to be stored on a server in China.
Several members of the Alameda County Republican Party Central Committee have observed problems and irregularities with elections in the past, including problems with access for observers. The chair of our committee, Jackie Cota, made repeated requests to meet with Registrar Tim Dupuis since July of this year. Only last Friday, October 28, eleven days before the election, did he finally have a meeting.

The people of California are having their elections stolen from them through the use of drop boxes and ballot harvesting. Anyone can place any amount of ballots in any drop boxes across the state.

Voter rolls are bloated and used to manufacture votes.

The law firm that won a half-billion shekel case against the Palestinian Authority three years ago said it received a notice that the next government will deal with the issue.

Despite a court order, the Israeli government led by Yair Lapid is refusing to release half a billion shekels confiscated from the Palestinian Authority (PA) that are supposed to go victims of Arab terror, the lawyer who won the case charged Tuesday.

Many Trump supporters were surprised the 45th president would take a shot at DeSantis just a couple of days before Florida’s gubernatorial election.

Well, it appears Trump has changed his mind for now about DeSantis because, during his rally in Miami, Trump urged Floridians to vote for DeSantis.

KFC Germany encourages public to celebrate Kristallnacht with cheesy chicken By Adina Katz, World Israel News

KFC sends message to customers on day of remembrance for German Jews killed in antisemitic rioting, encouraging the public to treat themselves to cheesy chicken.

The German branch of American fast food chain KFC shocked its customers on Wednesday by sending a push notification urging the public to “celebrate” Kristallnacht with a special promotional deal on fried chicken.

Kristallnacht, or the Night of the Broken Glass, was an antisemitic pogrom carried out by the Nazis across Germany on November 9-10, 1938, that saw the destruction of synagogues and homes and businesses belonging to Jews. An estimated 90 Jews were killed in two days of rioting, and the event is widely viewed as the beginning of the Holocaust.

The annual commemoration is a somber occasion in Germany, so KFC customers were startled on Wednesday after receiving the festive-sounding push notification from the fast food chain.

“Commemoration of the Reichspogromnacht [Kristallnacht] – Treat yourself to more tender cheese with the crispy chicken. Now at KFCheese!” read the message, according to a screenshot of the notification posted on Twitter by a German user.

“How wrong can you be? Shame on you KFC,” wrote Dalia Grinfeld, the ADL’s associate director of European affairs on Twitter, alongside a screenshot of the notification.

About an hour after the message was sent, KFC issued an additional notification apologizing for what they said was a mistake.

“Due to an error in our system, we sent an incorrect and inappropriate message through our app. We are very sorry about this. We will check our internal processes immediately so that this does not happen again. Please excuse this error,” KFC said in the statement.

The Pogrom

Between the late evening hours of November 9 and the early morning of November 10, 1938, gangs of German brownshirts and the SS destroyed and firebombed 267 synagogues throughout Germany, Austria and the Sudetenland. Historian Richard Evans said the police and the SS were instructed not to stop the destruction of Jewish property or restrict those committing hostile acts against German Jews. Looting was prohibited, foreign nationals were to be unharmed even if they were Jewish, and German properties had to be shielded from being damaged, which meant no fires were to be started next to Jewish stores or synagogues.

Stormtroopers shattered shop windows of an estimated 7,500 Jewish-owned businesses. Jewish homes and apartments were ransacked, and the contents stolen. Residents were terrorized and beaten. In many towns, gravestones in Jewish cemeteries were smashed.

Jewish men between the ages of 16 and 60 were sent to concentration camps. Historian David Cesarani said approximately 11,000 were transported to Dachau, Sachsenhausen, and Buchenwald. Overcrowding and malnutrition led to disease causing a number of deaths. Those with emigration papers, individuals prepared to sell their businesses and the lawyers required to assist them, were among this initial group. The next group included combat veterans and elderly men, and then those over 50 years old and teenagers.

The objective of Kristallnacht was to coerce Jews to emigrate. Historian Christian Gerlach pointed out that out of a Jewish population of 500,000 living in Germany at the beginning of 1933, 214,000 remained by 1939. By 1941, two-thirds of the German and Austrian Jews had emigrated.

Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass, was a nationwide anti-Jewish pogrom in Nazi Germany. It began on the evening of November 9, 1938, and continued through the next day.

There were earlier “pogroms’ in Germany, but Kristallnacht was much more than just a pogrom. Kristallnacht was the day Hitler’s final solution came out of the closet. There were anti-Jewish riots in Germany, Austria, and the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia. It was the night the Holocaust began.

The Holocaust is unique in its volume and horrors. It is a singular event in world history. Yes, there have been genocides of other people and other horrors. There were even other atrocities committed against the Jewish people. But generally, genocide is waged to suppress a group and take their territory for political or economic reasons like taking their wealth or enslaving a people.

The Holocaust was different– the Jews who were targeted by Hitler and the Nazis did not have much land and held relatively little power. The purpose of the holocaust was to wipe them off the face of the Earth. Not only in Germany but in lands they took over. For example, the Vichy government in France deported approximately 75,000 French Jews into the clutches of Hitler.

They appear to only write for the sensational value of the tales they tell and not the truth. The truth in the news seems to be the most difficult commodity to come by today. You people know nothing and should be ashamed of your loose coverage of what is really going on in Ukraine.

Especially America should be ashamed for its part in encouraging Volodymyr Zelenskyy to continue to fight for impossible goals instead of encouraging a path for peace. The longer he refuses to negotiate, the more innocent Ukrainian civilians will die, and their homes and cities be destroyed. As long as America pumps billions of dollars every month into Ukraine’s war effort because of Washington’s continued demonization of Vladimir Putin, President Zelenskyy will continue to refuse the peace process. The war will never end until there is no Ukraine left to fight over. Then the survivors will be animals and do exactly what you might expect, fight over what is left.
